I glared at the headmaster, his eyes looking at me as I was a mistake "You'll never be as good as your mother! You'll never be a true Garla! Your surname doesn't mean anything here!" I felt my anger boil hearing him talk about my birth mother "Shut up! Stop talking about my mother! She wouldn't want her name to be disgraced like this!"

I was red and flaming with anger, 4 security guards were holding me back while he just stared and ranted on and on. Speaking about my behavior and how barbaric it was. I could care less on what he thought of me "You are to be expelled from Galra Academy and to never return" my eyes went wide and i sigh looking at the ground in disappointment I messed up so bad.

"You know the rules, no using weapons on school ground or on other students no matter how bad the situation gets" he held his hand open and I looked up at him as he demanded something "Hand over your knife Mr. Kogane you don't deserve it" I glared at his hand as I scoffed "Never. It belongs to me, my mother gave it to me" he scoffs and groans as he shakes his head "Then we'll have no choice and take away your brother's robotic arm" not Shiro, he's done so much for me and now I'm paying for the price of it.

"What?! No he needs that arm please don't!" He grins and opens his hands again "I won't ask again hand over the knife Kogane" I was breathing heavily as I looked between him and the floor "It's in my bag..sir" I said hoping he leaves me alone "Now was that so hard?" I groan and the security shoves me to the ground harshly

"Easy you brutes" I managed to say as headmaster Zarkon searches for my knife "Where is it?" I point towards the bag "It's in there..I never take it out of my bag" he growls and walks towards me "Your lying! Where is the knife!?" I back up a bit seeing the anger radiate from him "Ask the kid I fought...he likes to steal things"

I was being honest..I don't know where my knife could be and to be honest Rolo probably took it..before Shiro separated us "Get him out of my presence, also tell his brother his work here is terminated.." the security pulled me up from the ground and walked me out the office and shoved me before slamming the door "Keith?" I turn and see Anya look at me with sad eyes as she came and hugged me

"Sorry.." she whispered but I pushed her away as I glared at her "Pack your stuff and get out of my life" she looked confused as her eyes start to water "What?" I hovered over her as i spoke again "Pack your fucking shit and get out of my life!" She jumped back looking hurt and confused but it was her fault "I'm sorry Keith.."

she said as her voice cracked "Sorry?! I got expelled from the school my birth parents attended cause of your bullshit! Now I will never learn or live up to them or their name! Just leave out of my life Anya for good cause all you have brought me was trouble and pain"

she stayed quiet for a bit only the soft sniffles were heard as I lowered my head and clenched my jaw "Where will I go?" She asked as I shrugged "I don't know and I don't care. As long as it's not my house" I said coldly as she nods slowly "Shiro isn't going to let me go"

"Shiro what? Cause of you he got fired!" She gasps a bit "Yeah didn't see that coming either huh Anya? Just get your stuff and get out of both our lives.." I walked away with my head down before I heard her speak "Keith wait!" I stopped and looked over my shoulder "Give me a day and I'll be gone" I nodded "Fine"

As i made it to the front Shiro was standing looking at me with a disappointed look "Keith do you want to talk about it?" he raised his hand and handed me my knife "No, can we go please" he sighs and held my shoulder, I felt the pain course through me. It felt like I was gonna die "Why did you fight with Rolo?"

He said as he cleaned my cuts "Because Anya decided to act tough and brave which caused him to strike." he rolls his eyes "So you decided to step in and also to use your knife on him? You know how strict Zarkon is Keith, look what happened. I lost my job, you got kicked out, how are we gonna make ends meet now? Dad would be so disappointed in us"

I missed dad, even if we had different last names he still felt like a dad to me. Even Shiro felt like dad..even though he was more of a brother. "I'm sorry, I could get a summer job..it's the last month anyways and you can look for another teaching job..and I promise you I won't get into trouble again"

I begged him and he lets out a sigh "Alright Keith..I'm trusting you to find a summer job please don't get into trouble again" I nodded "I swear" he hugged me and I smiled "Love you Keith" "Love you too" after he covered my face we started looking for jobs. I went all over town searching until I found a little coffee shop

"Seems legit.." as I walked towards the counter a woman with white hair stood behind "Hello, May I help you?" I nodded "Yeah I'm looking for a job..to help my brother out" she smiles "Well..you can work here, I'll be gone since I'm taking over my father's place at a school"

I raised a brow "A school? Like a headmaster?" She nods "Yes..why you ask?" "My brother is a physical education teacher..he just got fired because of me..I was hoping you can give him a chance? He's a really good teacher" she looks hesitant and nods "Well I'll have to meet him first and check if he meets all the requirements"

I smiled feeling hopeful "Thank you.." "Allura..and you are?" "I'm Keith..and I'll get my brother to meet you..what about the beach in 2 days?" She smirks and nods "Yes I'll be there and also you can work here, seeing how caring and determined you are" "Thanks" she nods and I head towards home where I find Shiro drowning in papers

"Guess who's the best little brother? Me! That's who" I said as I sat beside him and he gave me an odd look "Okay? First of all what have you done to my moody teenage brother? Second what are you talking about?" I chuckled "I got you an interview with a headmaster of new school" Shiro looked at me like I was kidding

"Keith stop messing around" "but Shiro I'm not, her name is Allura and we are meeting her at the beach in 2 days so I'm letting you know. Also she's really pretty" Shiro chuckles "Since when are you into girls?" "I'm not but she is cute I might say, maybe a new relationship for you since Caroline?"

he shakes his head and blushes a bit "Well thanks for doing that. Also what happened between me and Caroline was mutual" I rolled my eyes and nodded "No problem and sure bro"

As the days flew by, it was time for Shiro to meet up with Allura, he was actually kinda nervous but I told him to chill and relax. Something he always tell me to do. "Alright where is she? Also how do I look?"

I chuckled and scanned the crowd and found the white hair beauty "Right over there" I face him towards her, she was wearing a pink bikini with a skirt wrapped around her hip and a white sun hat

"Wow.." I chuckled Seeing Shiro blush "Hey, act cool and don't be a giant nerd" he shakes his head as she comes closer "Hello Keith nice seeing you again, you must be Shiro" he nods and takes her hand "Yes, that's me..well my actual name is Takashi but Shiro is cool" she giggles and blushes "Well then shall we talk about your job? Shiro?"

He nods "Yeah of course.." he looks at me and I rolled my eyes "Don't worry I'll be here" he nods and leaves with Allura and I decided to ride my longboard down the sidewalk. I see a lot of teens out already, The garla academy doesn't even end until June 28. I'm glad I was kicked out before then.

I sigh and let the breeze hit my face as I stop by a hill seeing people surf. I always admire surfers, they looked cool and had fun but I'm a baby and can't even stand on a surf board. I sigh and take a rest.

After an hour Shiro texted me saying he was busy with Allura and I smirked knowing what he meant. I didn't care and I decided to ride home in the cool night, I looked at everything until I was stopped by Rolo "What do you want? I got kicked out cause of you" he smirks and walks closer to me

"I know and I'm glad but you still have the knife, I got suspended for it so now I want it" I rolled my eyes "Yeah right, like I'm gonna hand over my mothers knife" as I was gonna skate away he stopped me "Not until you hand it over kogane" I rolled my eyes "Tough luck I don't have it on me"

I smirked and he pulled out his, which was bigger than mine "But I have mine" he lundged at me and I backed up and grabbed his wrist and slammed it on the wall making him drop the knife. I quickly picked it up and pressed him against the wall with the knife pressed against his neck.

"You are good.." I scoff and moved away from him "Leave me alone.." I threw the knife a few feet away from us and I rode home quickly, I didn't want to be part of that again..don't want to kill someone by accident.

After a few minutes I made it home and quickly locked myself in the comfort of my own house. I took a quick shower and decided to go get take out down the block. As i grab my long board I see a couple teens carrying surf boards and I kept my head down hearing their laughter "Dude you nailed that move today"

the taller said "Duh, I've been practicing and it actually paid off" as they pass by one of them called me "Hey man! You dropped your wallet?" I stopped and checked my pockets and I felt dumb for even checking. I got off my board and walked towards them.

As i went to take my wallet I noticed his hair was still wet and covering his eyes slightly, I blush a bit and took my wallet "Your welcome?" I turned around and kept my head down "Thanks" I took off leaving them as the mystery guy stared at me which I didn't care but it wouldn't hurt to make a friend?
