Keith Pov
I woke up in a panic when I groan and hiss a bit in pain. I look to my side and see Lance still asleep as he looks a bit stressed and I felt horrible. I look down my chest and see he helped me clean up which was kind of him but I really should have gone home to Shiro so he can take care of this not my boyfriend who was terrified of this whole situation.

As I moved off the bed not trying to wake him he stirred a bit before he mumbled my name "Keith..?" I look at him as his eyes look at me with a small smile "How you feeling?" "I'm fine babe just a little sore that's all" he sat up and came closer towards me as he held my face "You had me worried last night" I sigh and grabbed his waist as I pulled him closer

"I know and I'm sorry I just wanted to see you" "You could've told me that you weren't or left a note on my window idiot" I chuckled a bit "I know but I had to make sure you were okay" he gasps a bit and groans "I was fine until you showed up and covered my window and floor in blood"

I smirked as I kissed him gently as I still felt the cut on my lips "When is this over?" "Soon or I'll just start killing people if it keeps turning like this" he looked afraid "Keith" "Lance I was kidding. I wouldn't kill unless I really had to so don't worry I'm not that crazy or hasty"

he eyed me a bit before he nuzzled in my neck "Don't be stupid and get yourself killed" it was silent for a bit before I answered "I won't, I promise you Lance" he pulls away as he held the wound "I'm sorry I ain't a nurse and it's a bit sloppy cause I was nervous" I chuckled "Its okay I've had worse stich ups" he raised a brow

"Forget I said anything" "Keith?" "It's in the past and I should really get going" he pouts as I sigh "Hey, don't worry I won't get hurt I promise" "That's a big promise Keith" "I know" I kissed him before he walked me out the house with no one awake "I'm sorry I made you worried Lance" he lowers his head and nods

"It's fine Keith, I'm just glad your alive and well" I smiled as I caressed his cheek "This time I'll let you know okay?" "Alright" I kissed him again even though I felt myself bring him closer until I hissed and he moved back "You should treat that and no physical activities for you" I laughed a bit "So does that mean no kisses from you?"

"Well only if I see you" I smirked as he kissed me gently as he quickly pulled away knowing I'll pull him closer again "Now go. Before anyone sees you" "Alright. I love you Lance" he blushed as he smiled "I love you too" I rushed off holding my side as I made it home to see Shiro look upset.

"Where were you? I heard you were ambushed" I lowered my head and nodded "I was and got shot and I need you to fix me up please" I said as he stood up from the chair and pulled me towards the dining room and checked the wound "Keith where did you go? Who patched you up?" He says as he removed the stitch Lance made

"If I tell you, I believe you'll be angry with me" he sighs as he pressed down which made me groan and hiss "I'm beyond angry..you were supposed to come straight home not go wherever you went" I looked away from his as I held a glare "I made a promise to someone.." I said as he sighs and looks at me

"Did you go to Lance?" I nod slowly "Did you tell him what you really are?" I nodded again "Do you know how dangerous it's going to be now that they have your weak spot?" I stood quiet as he stitched me up and covered me up "Keith I get that you finally are having friends and being in a relationship to feel normal but you aren't like the others. You do know that right?"

I nod but didn't look at him "I get that you can't be away from Lance for more than a few hours but I think you both can live. Besides he's fine because of the team I'm setting up" I looked at him as he smirked "What team?" "I was talking with Allura about forming a secret team after you graduate. She and I are going to pick the best student to work with us and you as a team"

I scoff "A team? If your making me the leader you're wasting your time" he shakes his head "Allura wants you to transfer to the black lion classes since you already have experience in it" I shrug "Why? I'm perfectly fine in the red" "I get that but she believes you have potential" I sigh as I looked at my feet

"Where will that leave my friends? Or even Lance? We'll still need a red lion if I become the black lion" he smiles as he sits beside me "They will stay in their parts. For Lance they are placing him in the red class" "Wait so Lance is my right hand?" He nods "Yes. Allura was impressed by all the footage of you two in combat class. You work well under pressure and you have each others back. Something a leader and co-leader should be"

I groan a bit "But who will be the blue lion if lance is red? You gotta think Shiro" "Allura will be blue lion. Problem solved" I shake my head "People are going to be upset at school. I feel like they think you guys have favorites" Shiro rolled his eyes "Allura is the headmaster and I listen to what she has to say"

"Cause she's also your girlfriend" he blushed as I chuckled "Not the point. So when you return back to school you will have a separate class just like your friends and even Lance so don't try leaving or backing out of it" I nod "You understand?" "Yes sir" After hearing all of this I just feel like my life just didn't feel normal how it should be..
