Keith Pov
I woke up in a panic as I look to my side and see Lance bare back and the blanket covering his butt. I get up and pull on some boxers as I go make something before we head to school. As I came back to the room Lance was sitting up and running his hand through his messy brown hair.

"I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be sore for practice today" I chuckled and kissed him as I handed him the tray "Same here" we stayed silent for a bit before I felt his hand go through my hair "You need a haircut man" I rolled my eyes "Why are you still on that?" "Keith one of these days someone is going to mistake you for a girl"

I chuckled "Lance I'm fine. I'll cut it when it's down my back" he rolled his eyes as he took a sip of his oj. "Whatever" after he finished we headed towards school as we get there I get a weird feeling but I relax seeing its Shiro "Where'd you go" "Stayed over Lance's place" he looked over at Lance and he nods

"Yeah he stayed the night and we watched a movie" "Okay. Today's after school project is moved to next week" "Why?" "Allura isn't feeling well and isn't in school today so no practice unless you two are up to solo rounds" I shrug "It doesn't matter for me" "It does to me. I'm not practing today"

I smirked as Shiro chuckles "Alright then. Tell the other about it and see you later" he takes off as Lance sighs "He scares me sometimes" I shake my head "You should be more afraid of me instead of him" lance kissed me and grinned "You're a teddy bear" I sigh "Whatever you say Lance"

As the day went on I was in the training room getting myself prepared as I destroyed another bot. As I threw my sword I see Lance standing in his armor as his arms were crossed. "Figures my boyfriend would be here" "Of course? Where else would I be?" He walks towards me and shrugs

"We get a day off and you come and train" "I have to cause then how else am I ever be a good leader? I don't want anyone to die cause of me" he held my face as I looked into his deep blue eyes "No one is gonna die Keith. We can handle ourselves and besides we haven't worked together yet as a unit. So you can't say your terrible if you haven't done anything" I smirked as i pulled him into a kiss "Thanks for that" "No problem"

After Lance convinced me to just quit we decided to go home. The others decided not to even come and bother with training but its better to be prepared then not. "Keith!" I'm being pulled back as a car zoomed by "Dude! You literally almost walked into the road! Are you okay?" Lance asked worried as I just stared at him "I don't know"

I said as we made it to my house as we entered I felt an odd presence and I freeze as Lance does the same and listen. I move up the stairs before I'm being thrown down the stairs as Lance is being pinned to the ground "Lance!" "K-keith" he was struggling and sounding like he's out of air. I charged at the brute before I'm being pulled back and thrown to the floor with a hard thud as I cough up blood.

"You should have listened to me Akira" I glared at him as I see Lance on the ground motionless "Now I have the blade. It's a pretty one too. Bye now" I coughed as more blood came out as I crawled towards Lance "L-l-lance" I mumbled as I turned him on his back. His neck had red marks which would bruise as I checked for a heartbeat.

It was faint but there and I pulled him closer as I cried "I'm sorry...I'm sorry" I kept repeating as i felt his touch "I'm..okay" he said barely as I held him closer. I stood up as I held him up as he rubbed his neck as I called for Shiro. "Why were they here for?" "My dagger. The one I had since I was little" I groan seeing Shiro not answer as Lance tried to relax me

"We need to find them" "Whoa! Hold up Keith! Those guys were twice as big as us. We need the team to help cause we can't take them alone as you can see" "They almost killed you! I'm front of me! I could have-" I broke down as he held my bloody face "I'm okay Keith! I'm right here. I'm not leaving you.."
