My heart was pounding. My head head was swimming. My eyes burned as I fell to my knees seeing what they done. I crawled closer and closer as I pulled him close "Lance.." I was shaking as his eyes were shut and blood was seeping through his armor "What kind of leader are you? Huh Keith?" I held Lance closer to my chest as I started to cry

"I'm n-no leader. I-I suck as a leader..I got someone killed because I was in danger. I lost the person I cared a lot about.." My tears covered his brusised up face as I kissed his head and caressed his cheek "I love him.." I said as I gently put him down "I promised I'll protect him" I stood up and grabbed my baynard as I made my sword appear

"I failed. Now you're gonna get it!" I ran towards him as I shoved the sword right through his chest "Now I want you to suffer like me.." I pulled away as he dropped and I fell back catching my breath as the room changed back to its normal state "Well done Keith! Now come out and see the others"

I wiped my eyes as I walked out before I'm embraced by Lance and I hold on "I'm still here" he whispered as I relaxed "Allura why would you put that as his training sequence?" Lance asked annoyed "Well he builds up his anger to destroy the enemy especially if it's someone he loves or cares for"

I shake my head "You're gonna give him trauma thinking I'm actually dead" I shut him up with a kiss as he smiles "Its fine Lance and besides it's your time to go" he nods and walks out as I walk towards Allura "What is his sequence?" She smirks as she pressed a button "Whatever his mind chooses"

I chuckled as the arena changes to outside and see myself with him and his family. "This one is new?" I smiled because we had a family picnic a few days ago "Not to me" Allura smiled knowing it was recent "Care to explain?"

"We had a picnic since I wasn't over their house for a few weeks. They thought me and lance broke up so i told them we didn't and they dragged me into it. It was fun." She smiles "Its good to see you happy Keith" "Thanks"

We watched his battle scene as it got intense when my holo version of myself stepped in front of him as it took the hit. Something I'll do if I'm honest "Keith!" He screamed as the holo enemy kicked him sending him away a few feet. I was about to stop it until Allura held me "Wait" I was impatient and needed to make sure Lance was okay

"But-" she covered my mouth as Lance held his chest hissing as the enemy came closer "Look at you, so weak and useless" "What? I'm not weak..or useless" "Sure. I bet you felt useless when your precious boyfriend left you alone for 3 weeks" I made a move but Allura held me "Allura" "Shh" I glared

"he had his reasons.." he was panting as I watched "He doesn't care about you" the look in Lance eyes made him grab his baynard and shoot the holo away. He stood up and walked towards it and glared at him "He loves me and cares about me. Just like me" he shot again and the holo was dead "Nice work Lance"

I smiled but Lance fell to the ground "Lance!" I rushed into the arena and fell to my knees and I held him "Lance? Don't close your eyes" I kept talking as he looked at me "Did I pass?" I sigh in relief as I helped him up "You okay?" He nods "Yeah just need a rest" I helped him into the small room as Allura rushed for the medkit "That was pretty cool"

I said as he looked at me "What?" "The part you got mad at the holo" "Oh. Yeah" he sounded a bit sad "You okay?" He nods "The holo just got personal and it made me so upset. Is that how you feel when it talks to you?" I nodded "Yeah but I always use it to power through like you did. Also when my holo version got in the way I totally would do something like that"

"Figures. You still love me?" I held his face and smiled "Of course I still love you. Don't think like that Lance" I kissed him as Allura came back "Oh am I interrupting?" We chuckled "No" she handed me the kit as I patched him up as I finished we waited for the others.

"Training is going well for you all. Maybe we should do drills with all of you" Allura explained as I looked over my footage "We could but I'm not sure how well the others work with me. Lance knows cause we have combat class together" lance agrees as he stands beside me

"We'll take it step by step. The others arent doing so well with their sequences" I figured "We'll be on our way then" she nods and me and Lance head home.

"Pidge and hunk are gonna take a while since they don't take combat like we do" I nod as I held Lances hand "Yeah but I'll be patient, that's how we learn and grow as a team" lance steals a kiss making me chuckle as he looks at me "Keith can I ask you something?" I nodded as we walked slower

"If I died" "You won't" he sighs "I said If I died. What would you do?" I lowered my head holding on his hand a bit harder "I would the person responsible suffer like I am seeing you dead on the ground.." I felt his touch on my face as I let out a breath "Hey..I'm still here and I'm not going anywhere"

I pulled him into a deep kiss before someone tapped my shoulder and I countered them over my shoulder to the ground. "Shit!" I turn red as I let go as Lance backs away and hides behind me "Really? That's how you treat a guy you liked?" Lance side glanced at me and at him and back at me "Wait? Who's this?"

"I'm-" "Not important Lance" I cut him off as I held Lance hand to leave "Really Akira? It's gonna be like that?" I could feel my face get hot "Babe he knows your middle name? Who is he?" I sigh and look back at him "I'm glad you asked. I'm Edgar Yanez and I used to work with Akira when he started. He had a little crush on me back then. It's nice you found someone who makes you happy" I groan

"I don't go by Akira anymore..It's Keith and we used to date you idiot. It didn't last long though" Lance looked at me seeing how uncomfortable I looked and glared at Edgar "Right..I forgot anyways I was sent to recruit you again since we are short on men"

"No thanks. I don't want to go back. I'm happy where I am thank you very much" he chuckles as he looks at lance and I know that look "Maybe your boyfriend would like to?" Lance groans "No thanks. If my boyfriend isn't going count me out and I'm way better than you" he said as we started to walk "Akira you are making a mistake. We need you!" I stop and look at him

"Keith don't do it" "Don't you have Shiro? Why do you need me? Leave me alone edgar I see what you want and I'm not falling for it" I was quiet and walked away and I started to walk with Lance beside me "I thought you didn't have any exes?" I sigh "Just one.."

He caressed my face as he left soft kisses over the dark bruises as I whimper at his touch "You're such a good boy Akira..you make me so happy" his eyes were so kind and inviting that I thought I found home. But wasn't his case.

He just wanted me for sex and for ranks and being young and foolish I fell for his charms and actually loved him. His voice always had that soothing that always relaxed me and I would reel for it.

"Edgar was a player and a bully and liked to play games with young guys. He's 21 now" Lance looked disgusted as he held my hand "He used you when you were barely 15!" "Well he was still younger when we met and like I said I was okay with it" I shivered at it "Well I'm glad your mine and he can't have you anymore" he kissed me as I smiled "Me to"

"I think your ex story beat mine by a long shot" I chuckle "I don't even consider him to be my ex. He's just someone I wish to forget" lance sighs as we laid in my bed looking at the ceiling "Yeah. Maybe you want to have fun to forget about him~" Lance said as he managed to straddle me and had that caring and fond smile

"Maybe..but Shiro will be home any minute..so we could go to my hideout?" Lance smirks and nods "Yeah" "Yeah?" He leans down and kisses me as we get dressed and head out as we leave I felt an unwanted presence as me and Lance flipped over who were behind us. As we looked it was Anya and Edgar

"Oh give me a good reason I shouldn't break your arm off!" Lance said as he kept pulling Edgar arm back "Ahh! Stop we just wanted to talk!" "Anya?" I got off her and helped her as she looked at me "Since when can you do that? And your boyfriend?" Lance still had Edgar to the ground "Akira! Help me! Tell him to get off!" "Oh no Lance stop. Sorry I tried"

I laughed as Lance chuckled "You didn't even try" "My name is Keith! Not Akira you asshole" "What are you both doing here. I'll start with you" Anya sighs "I was supposed to convince you to join the force again" "No way and besides we aren't really friends at the moment" she nods "I know I told him that but he insisted me to do it"

I gave Lance a nod so he can give him pain "Ahh! Stop it!" He was wincing and breathing pretty hard "Well I already told him no and to get lost! Lance that's enough" before he let go he hurt him and walked towards me "Also don't do things that others tell you. You'll end up dead" I held onto Lance as we walked away

"Edgar. Put some ice and you'll be good" I said as we chuckled "Nice job babe" lance smiled as he kissed my cheek "Thanks and I thought I did a bad job" "No you were perfect. But your hold needs a little work" "Thanks..maybe we can work on our hold when we get there" I smirked "We'll see"
