Lance Pov
Another year of Voltron high and it's my final year as well, finally being able to graduate and have fun this summer before heading west for something better "Lance hurry up"

I pop out of my daydream and see my friends I made over the summer well, one of them "Relax Pidge, I'm catching up and besides it's early, so chill" he didn't look convinced

"Says you, I'm a advanced senior..it's really rare that I'm graduating with you two" I chuckled and put my around his short body "Dude its awesome, it just means your smart and junk" he groans and Hunk smirks

"Do any of you have classes with me?" Hunk nods while Pidge shakes his head "Nope, all my classes are with the red lions"

I didn't really liked the red lions cause they looked snobby and think they are better then everyone because their higher rank. I rather have the easy way then doing things twice as hard, which Pidge has to do since he's a little higher then me.

"I think I two classes with the red's but I won't let them bother me" we chuckled as we entered the school, I see the lovely princpal that I adore, well the one we met a month ago since it was mandatory..

"Good morning Allura, you look beautiful as ever" I winked at her and she rolled her eyes "Hello Mr McClain, how was your summer?" I smiled and walked closer to her

"My summer was good and all, how bout you? Did you go to the beach and such?" She giggles as she pushes me away "I did, i also met a guy but that doesn't concern you..now move along"

I held her hand and kissed it "My lady..I'll see you around" she sighs "Lance I don't want to suspend you for harassment with the principal" I chuckled slightly

"No, but you know I still care about you" she shakes her head "Stay out of trouble" "Will do" I met up with my buddies as they shook their heads "Why do you always flirt with girls older than you?" I shrugged

"I got a thing so I tend to keep it going..I've been chasing after Allura since she got here..we've gotten closer or somewhat?" "Just give up, girls aren't into guys who act like you" "How would you know Pidge?" He turns red and shakes his head

"Because..I have cousins and they tell me about their life and such" he fixed his glasses and runs off leaving me and hunk to walk a bit before first period.

As we walked I kept getting glares from the red's, I didn't mind them because I actually feel  sorry for them. Working twice as hard for nothing..well for their future I don't need to worry because I ain't going anywhere.

Hunk and I head to our Math class and it's a mix of blue and Yellow, obvious since we are closer in ranking "Welcome back students, let's get this over with right?" Everyone chuckled at the teacher and I just leaned back on my chair and heard what she said which I didn't really listen and I guess no one else did.

After the first few classes it was lunch and I sat with the usual people which was hunk and Pidge but I didn't see him? "Hey buddy have you heard from Pidge?"

Hunk shakes his head "No, but I heard he has the second wave of lunch" I sigh, I was really hoping for something interesting to talk about "Bummer, what did you do in your other classes?"

"The same thing they do all the time" I nodded and looked around, my circle is very small, it's hard making new friends especially if you try acting cool when you don't need to "Hunk..am I not sociable?" Hunk swallows his food and wipes his face

"Yeah I think so, I mean your pretty friendly and all..but you tend to push people away or whatever but who's to judge?" I sigh and play with my food "Face it I'm a loser" hunk pat my back "Dude, your not trust me" his smile always made me feel better "Thanks man, I needed that"

after lunch we head to our other shared class which was science and we were talking about dead animals and what we are going to do with them. Hunk didn't look so good and looked a little green "Hey bud? You feeling okay?" He stayed silent until he puked all over me causing some girls to scream away from us

"Dude! This is so gross!" Hunk ran towards the trash can and I stood there covered in puke "McClain, you may be excused towards the office" I nodded and walked out feeling grossed out, at least he didn't puke on my face "Hunk and his weak stomach.." I went towards my locker and got my casual clothes and headed towards the showers..they wouldn't mind right?

As i finished showering and getting dressed in my casual wear I head towards the office holding the ruined uniform "Hey Mary..can you wash my uniform..I got puked on" she looked at me and point towards the laundry room "Do it yourself" I rolled my eyes and went to the small room, I placed them in and decided to wait around, they'll start asking where my uniform is so I rather not go back..

After almost an hour the final bell rings and I groan, i missed gym my favorite part of the day where I can show off my combat moves. Might as well go meet the new gym teacher since Mr reeds retired. I quickly put my clean uniform in my backpack and sprint towards the gym as I rush I didn't see the guy in my way.

I felt a thud as I quickly stood up and looked down at the guy, he held his head and his skateboard rolled beside me. I picked it up and held my hand out to him "Oh man, dude I wasn't looking" as he raised his face, his light lavender eyes sparked something in me, I noticed the light blush on his cheeks and noticed his style of clothing

"Um, are you okay? I didn't hit you too hard right?" He shakes his head and takes my hand and stands up "I'm sorry, who are you?" He said kinda blunt and with no emotion at all "I'm Lance McClain, Rank 1-2 Blue Lion" I held out my hand once more before he took it, he seemed a little disgusted with me but I didn't mind it too much

"I'm Keith Kogane, Rank 8-9 Red Lion, nice to meet you" I quickly let go and handed his long board "I see you ride long boards, I like to surf" he smiles a bit but I don't understand why but it make my heart beat a little fast "Really? That's pretty alright" he didn't sound to convincing "I have better balance than you do on two feet"

he looked threatened but it was kinda a playful banter to be honest, I've never seen him in my life, so he's probably new "Keith you aright?" As I look it's the new gym teacher "Takashi Shirogane, Sir I'm sorry I didn't show up to class. My friend puked all over my uniform and I had to get it washed and cleaned.

But I will be here tomorrow" he smirks and nods "Alright thanks for letting me know, also never go into detail about things" I chuckled awkwardly and nodded "Noted..well I'll be on my way, bye guys" they both looked at me and went back to their conversation, that Keith guys looks like trouble to me but he seems like the type to not get into trouble. Also he looks oddly familiar?

As i left the school I see Pidge and hunk waiting at the gates "There you are! Where did you go?" He asked a little upset "I was talking to my new gym teacher, god why are you so moody?" He rolled his eyes and we started walking "Lance I'm sorry for puking all over you today" "Its cool man, stuff happens" we laugh a bit and I noticed Pidge glued to his phone texting someone

"Who you texting dude?" I pulled the phone away as he tries to reach "Hey! Give it back! Lance!" As I look it shows Keith's name "Keith? Is he the one with that mullet haircut?" Pidge nods "You met him?" I nodded "Yup, not too long ago he seems out of touch with socializing"

as Pidge was gonna respond someone passes by us and to my surprise it was Keith, his headphones plugged into ears, his uniform jacket wrapped around his waist and watching him move fast on the board "There he goes" I say a little amazed by him "How do you know?"

"He is the only guy I know that has a mullet that he can't pull off Pidge.." I  blush and shake my head as we kept walking "Oh..I asked him if he wants to hang at the beach but he said maybe? Let's see" I scoff, a skateboarder at a beach?

Seems unlikely since they don't really ride by the beach unless of the sidewalks and whatnot "So you invited him to watch me and hunk surf?" Pidge nods "That and we to plan a new invention so.." I rolled my eyes "Whatever.."

As we get home and changed me and hunk and pidge head towards the beach, I see barely anyone there which I loved. More time for me to relax and enjoy. "Alright..let's hit the waves hunk" he nods and we head in, the warm water feeling awesome on my sunkissed skin

"Gotta live in the moment" I say softly as I wait for the wave. After a couple times surfing I got tired and headed towards the shore where i see keith, he looks at me with a slight blush dusted on his face as he looks away "Hey Keith, when did you get here?" "Like an hour ago, you know how to surf"

I chuckled "Obviously..and you know how to ride" he looks at me and doesn't know what to say "Lance stop flirting!" Pidge said and I rolled my eyes as I dried my hair "I wasn't flirting I was being nice..right Keith~"

he looked away from me knowing I made him feel flustered and I actually liked it "Go with hunk, get us some food here take this" pidge handed $20 for something "What do you want?" "Anything you idiot" I rolled my eyes "Fine" as I walked off I noticed his gaze still on me, he is totally checking me out.

"Hey hunk, what do you think about Keith?" Hunk shrugs as he gets Pidges snacks "He seems okay? Why you ask? Having a crush on him already?" "What?! No way dude" he chuckles "Dude I was kidding" I shake my head "Doesn't he look familiar? He reminds me of that kid we past by in the beginning of summer break"

hunk takes a look at Keith as we walked closer "I don't know man, it was pretty dark when we went home. It could be someone else" I groan as we made it back to the nerds "Here Pidge" "Thanks Hunk.." I sat next to Keith who was avoiding me "Did you have shorter hair during the summer?" I asked bluntly and he glared at me "What? Why?"

"Cause you look familiar to me I can't put my finger on it" he blushed and his hair covers his purple orbs "Lance quit it man" hunk says pulling my arm "Hold on a second..just answer the question Keith?" He raised his head and sighs "yes I had somewhat shorter hair.."

I smirked "So you are the guy that dropped his wallet" he looked surprised "Yeah..was it you guys I passed by a while back?" I nodded "Yeah dude..you were a jerk" he rolled his eyes and sighs "Well I was having a bad day.." "really I want to know" "Lance stop.."

Pidge said sounding a little bit more feminine "Okay I'll stop" "Pidge I'm gonna take off see you at school" he got up and ran off and pidge glared at me "What?" "You couldn't shut up could you?" He stood up and took off as well "What did I do?! All I did was ask a simple question?"

They were both out of site and I was left with hunk "Well then let's go man" "Actually you should go and apologize to them..I'm going home" he got up and grabbed his stuff "What? You too? Hunk come on man!" I groan and decided to go apologize to the nerds..all i did was ask a question?
