Keith Pov
After spending the whole night with Lance he convinced me to see Shiro and the others. I know I shouldn't just diss Shiro and everyone but they just don't understand me. Also I think it's another excuse for Lance to get me to forgive Shiro and to have a nice birthday. I never celebrate my birthday but I can't really fight Lance on this.

"Good morning cariño~" lance kissed me as I smirked as I sat up. "Morning." "Also happy birthday! I still can't believe your older then me. What can I say I like older man." "Hey easy on older. Also you didn't have to do this" he chuckles as he slips beside me "I made this for the both of us. So eat and we'll have a great time." I smirked and kissed him again "I love you." "Duh." "Lance.." "I'm kidding. Love you too"

After breakfast in bed he made me dress up and head towards my old place. It still looks the same just looking older. "Lance I'm not sure-" he shush me as he held my face "You promised me last night so please at least talk with him." I sigh and nodded "Okay." He smiled as we knocked and waited and as the door opened their stood Shiro. His eyes trained on me as he nodded at Lance and he walked by.

"Keith." "Shiro." We just stood there awkwardly as i walked by and got inside as he closed the door slowly. "Keith! Happy birthday Love." Allura came and hugged me tightly as she kissed my cheek. "Your 20 now right?" I nodded and smirked "Yeah." She giggles as she pulls out a small bag "Its not much but I thought you'll like it" I sigh "Allura you didn't need to-"

"Nonsense! It came from my heart and you'll always have a special place in my heart." I smiled softly as I looked inside and chuckle seeing a frame of the team and a few shirts of my favorite bands. "Thanks Allura. Means a lot." I gave her a tight hug as she giggles "No problem. But I think you need to fix your problem with someone else."

She whispered as i look and see Shiro in the kitchen drinking down wine like it's juice. "I know just give me time." She nods and as i turn I'm in a bear hug by hunk "Keith! Buddy happy birthday man! It's so good to see you alive and well." I nod as i struggled "I..can't..breathe.." hunk dropped me and apologized as I can breathe normally again

"Great to see you too Hunk.  Also thanks." He smiled brightly as he hands me bag "Man you didn't have to give me anything." "Dude I had to give you at least something. It's not much but I hope you like it." As I pulled out a "Diary?" "It's a journal. To keep to write down your feelings and whatnot?" "A diary?" He glares and walks off "Okay?"

I chuckled and was looking down at pidge "Hey loser." "Hey gremlin." She wrapped her arms around me and held tight and I held back. I missed Pidge the most also including Lance. She just made things fun and entertaining for me. She was crazy and funny and we got along great. Sometimes when I'm alone I always go look in my memories in my Snapchat and laugh at our craziness.

"I miss you. Asshole." I chuckled "I miss you to." She pulled away and chuckled "How's the dark side?" I sigh "It's not the dark side Pidge. This isn't star wars." She laughs "I know but seriously, have you found answers?" I shook my head "Not one bit. All I've got was training techniques and how to sneak without being followed." She rolls her eyes

"You know the team is different without you here. I could tell in the way everyone acts especially Lance and Shiro. Those two have been at each others throats for awhile until Lance fixed it." I nod "sounds to me you guys are doing better without me." She lowered her eyes "Hanging out isn't as fun anymore. It's boring and lack of corny jokes and your annoyed expressions."

She laughs as I push her gently "Hey." "I'm kidding but seriously it's boring as fuck without you." I nod "I bet." She then shoves a box in my hands as i looked at her "What is this?" "Its something i made for you. I forgot to give it to you when you left. So I decided to give it to you now. Don't make fun of me because of how ugly it is. I'm not a girly girl or whatever!"

She turned red and I laughed and pulled her close "Relax I'm not." As I opened it i gasp as I pull out a crystal "Whoa this is cool." "It's also a mood ring kinda. It changes color on your emotions." I smiled and looked down as it's green "your happy. I wrote a list down of the emotions. I made Lance and Matt test it out for me."

I chuckled and nodded "Thanks Pidge. Means a lot." I hugged her again and she smirks "No problem butt face." I shake my head as I see Shiro stare at me and I needed to get this over with. As I made it towards the kitchen I stopped and pulled the glass from his hand and set it down.

"Shiro..think you had enough." He nods as he looks at me "I bet I have. So tell me how their treating you? Rough and hard I bet." I sigh "Shiro I don't want to fight I want us to fix this. I know your mad at me because I disobeyed you or whatever the reason. Know that I'm older to do things now. I'm not a little kid anymore. I'm an adult now and I need to figure out my purpose."

Shiro nods "I'm just facing the facts you don't need me anymore. You getting over your fears and doing things that are beyond your skills. Being able to adjust to situations. Finding someone from your past alive. Not needing your older brother anymore." I could see the tears forming in his eyes as I looked down and saw the crystal turn blue. Sadness.

"What are you going on about? You will and always be my big brother. You raised and took care of me since I was a kid. You showed me from right and wrong and even protected me from danger. Shiro I'm still going to need you even if I have another sibling running around. You'll always be my brother." He wipes his eyes and pulls me into a hug and I held back

"I'm sorry for being a jerk to you Keith. I just didn't want you leaving me too soon." "I'm sorry for being selfish and not really living up to expectations." He sighs "I don't blame you. Now that's out of the way let's catch up alright?" I nod as we sat down and talked while everyone had fun and talked.

"Never have I ever gotten drunk and made out with a stranger" I chuckled as the other took a drink "You guys are insane!" We laughed as Lance was cuddled beside me laughing and leaving kisses on my neck. "Alright time for cake!"

Lance jumped to his feet and ran towards the kitchen almost falling "Lance careful" he chuckles and I sigh. Oh this boy is something. "Alright everyone time to start singing. Ready babe?" I smiled as everyone started singing to me. I haven't had so many people sing on my birthday. Matter of fact I never really celebrated my birthday because dad wasn't around. Well Shiros dad.

"Happy birthday Keith!" I stared at the small cupcake that had a candle lit as I looked at Shiro "Thanks.." I sighed and walked towards the living room and got on my phone. "Come on dude at least blow it out" I sigh and got up and blew out the candle "There. Happy?" I faked smiled and sat down and put my black hoodie up. "Keith what's wrong?" "Nothing."

"Doesn't seem like nothing? You're 14 almost getting older." I shrug "Okay? Can you leave me alone? Please Shiro?" He sighs and sits beside me holding the red cupcake and nudging it towards me. "Happy birthday" I looked into his eyes as I looked down at the treat "I get that dad stopped showing up but remember I'll never leave you. So let's enjoy your day cause I have plans for us to do." I blushed and nodded "Okay."

"Keith? You okay?" I was looking into Lances eyes as he handed the cake over hunk as everyone seemed to worry. "What? Yeah I'm fine.." "liar. The crystal is a baby boy. You're feeling an odd memory." I shake my head "I'm sorry i just stopped celebrating birthdays when I was 14. So having people here and singing and giving me gifts? It's a little strange and different." Lance smiled and wiped my eyes as he kissed my cheek "You're still loved. Now blow out the candles birthday boy." I smiled and blew them out.
