Lance Pov
I was getting tired of just following goones of the target around. They did nothing but gossip and talk about their crushes. Like what kind of people did this guy hire? I was at my post watching the scene as I focused "Lance to your right a bit" "gotcha. Where are you?" As I stopped I paused and anger started to boil

"It's that asshole Edgar! I'm gonna shoot him!" "Lance no! You're gonna ruin the mission! Don't do it or you'll get hurt!" I groan  as i watched the snake be pushed around by the girls. They were laughing and jeering him. Served him right. "Lance?!" I pop out of my thoughts as i heard Pidge "Sorry..got distracted. Can we go?"

"No I'm not done hacking into their database yet. Also hunk still haven't gotten the codes." "Shiro is going to murder us" I heard hunk sigh deeply "Seriously." I chuckled as I saw movement "Whoa hello white hair beauty?" I looked closer but was surprised it was a man then a woman. "Uh guys is the target always with his goones?"

"No. He doesn't come out until it's for killing or some weird shit like that" I huff as he pulled Edgar closer to him as he pat his back and held a charming smile. I didn't like that vibe so much, maybe he's gonna kill him? I should do something but that'll blow my cover. "Pidge the guy is smiling and acting friendly with him? It's kinda creeping me out"

"Oh fuck!" "What?" Her side with dead and I quickly got the hint and started to grab my stuff before I stood up I felt the pain shoot through me as a bullet went through my right shoulder "Fuck! Pidge! Hunk! I got shot!" I crawled as blood kept gushing out as I was starting to get tired "Shit.."

I woke up sore as I see I'm in the infirmary in the facility. Oh fuck Shiro is gonna blow. As I mentally prepare for his lecture the door slid open and there stood Keith. Eyes wide and face red as he rushed to my side as he held my face "Lance? Who did this?" I smiled as I held his hands in my own. "You're here"

he nods but he still looked upset "Who did this Lance?" "I'm not sure I couldn't tell I was rushing to get out but I got hit." He shakes his head "I'm an idiot" "What? I should be the one calling myself an idiot?"

"If I was here none of this would have happened. Pidge has her arm broken and hunk was lucky the gunshot went through his arm missing important vitals. Lance I'm sorry for not being here when needed to be. You're hurt and I wasn't there to protect you.."

he was crying because of anger and I slowly sat up and pulled him into a awkward hug until he put his head on my lap as i ran my hands through his fluffy hair. "I'm fine Keith. Honest. If it was something really Important and I could've died then I need you to get some revenge"

he chuckles as he looks at me "You lost a lot of blood. You're lucky I have the blood type that I can share" he raised his sleeves showing where. "Wow. I saw Edgar" "You did?" "Yeah he was with the guy we're going after. I think he's gonna get killed or something? I couldn't tell before I got shot and blacked out. Man Shiro is gonna throw a fit"

Keith smirks "Nah. I told him I'll scold you for reckless behavior. Lance that was a stupid and dumb move. Why did you three go without telling Shiro? He is your leader you know?" "He's no leader of mines.." Keith tilts his head "What? Of course he is? Why are saying that?"

"Because he's acting different again. The group is getting mad because he won't reason with my suggestions. Am I not in second in command?" Keith sighs "I thought you guys worked this out?" "We did and now we are starting over again! Ow.." I held my arm as Keith held too "Relax. Why wouldn't be listen?"

"I suggest plans that are simple and less risks. But he trashed my idea and goes head first. Like you did when you were leader." He fills his eyes and I chuckled "anyways, we got stuck and he was to blame and the others even knew that my plan could have helped us the through and we wouldn't die. Keith I feel like you listen more than he does, I still believe you are our leader."

He sighs "Get some rest okay?" He kissed me as he caressed my face "Are you gonna visit me now?" He nods "Yeah." Was all he said and he was gone.

"I can't describe how idiotic that stunt you three pulled! Now we have three paladins out of commission for a few months!" Allura was fuming and we deserved it because we did not inform her of such things. "Sorry. If that's not enough than Quadruple sorry but Shiro wasn't going to risk our safety again" I managed before she glared at me

"Don't say such a thing about Shiro! He's a great leader and had been since we started this whole thing!" I rolled my eyes "He's no leader of mines. I just can't wait for Keith to come back and take his place again-" *smack* I clenched my jaw and my fists as i slowly glared at Allura "Oh my word! Lance! I'm sorr-"

I stood up and shook my head "I need some time. Excuse me" I walked by her as the room seemed too tensed as I held my face as I groan in pain. She hit me pretty hard but it's whatever I can't hit girls anyways unless their bad or trying to kill me. "Lance? Why is your face red?" I look and see Shiro and I grimace.

"Your girlfriend slapped me. Now I'm going home." As I walked he grabbed my bad shoulder "What the hell Shiro?! That's my bad shoulder!" "My bad! I'm sorry i just don't understand why Allura would do that?" "Think about it? If you talked bad about me I'm pretty sure Keith would start a fight with you. Wouldn't he?" He sighs "Lance.." "Save it. I'm going home and tell Allura I'm sorry"

I laid in my bed thinking about that argument I had with Allura. I can't believe she slapped me for talking about Shiro in a way. She's so blinded she can't tell that Shiro isn't himself and he's not letting us voice our opinions not even hers. I heard the door open knowing it's Keith I sigh "What's wrong? I was looking for you at work?"

"I went home early" he crawls beside me and kisses me "Tell me what's wrong?" "You know you're getting better at listening" "only with you" I smiled "I made Allura upset and she smacked me today." "Oh man. What the fuck did you say?" "What I told you a few weeks ago at the hospital" he nods

"Then Shiro stops me and grabs my bad shoulder making it open again and fuck I swear he's losing his mind" Keith immediately removes my shirt seeing a wrap there with blood "Does it hurt?" "Not as much as before. I'm doped up on pain killers so I'm good." He placed a kiss on my shoulder as he continued down my chest

"Oh~ what's happening here?" He moved towards my face and smiled "Do you mind if I make you feel better?" I  chuckled "Not at all babe. Take the pain away for me.." I could feel his hands make me feel like I'm floating. I really do miss this, just having Keith in my presence just makes me feel a million times better..

But maybe this could end in a disaster..
