"It's two am," Clara said. She approached his table, stopping beside him to look at his cards. "You've been here since my shift started."
"Aw, are you worried about me?"
Clara rolled his eyes. "Sure. I'm about to head home. I told Ann to cover you, even though I think you should go home."
"You're leaving?" He asked.
"Yes, I wanted to come and say good night," she said. "Also, thank you for the tips. I feel a little like a millionaire."
He couldn't help but laugh at that. She wasn't close to a millionaire, but he was glad she was happy.
She let out a sigh, touching the masquerade. "I can't wait to take this off."
Paul smiled. "Don't say good night, love. I'll see you soon."
"I'm sure you will," Clara smiled. And with that, he saw her walk away. He lost sight of her. But she was going to his room.
Of course she was.
