{3rd POV}

Once Doug and Damian entered through the portal, they were stopped by a gate blocking our way with a shard on the other side, "We need to get that soul shard to get the gate open, naturally it's behind those bars. Well if Malak won't let us get to the shard, we'll have to make the orb come to us. Go to the ring altar." Bierce said, the two men then got out of the portal and headed to the statue.

They were given the power of telekinesis, "Good luck in there you guys.. I hope I see you guys soon.." Evans said, "Thank you.. we'll see you later okay Evans..?" Damian replied, "I'll see you soon Evans.." Doug replied, Doug and Damian then went back through the portal and Doug activitied the telekinesis.

The shards then all came to him, "You've gathered all of the soul shards. The ring piece is now exposed.. and the monsters will go into a frenzy." Bierce said, Damian thought that it was weird that she said that but.. who really cares right now, they both went to the end of the hallway. They were standing infront of a large hospital that had unsettling childish vibes from it.. Doug looked a little confused, "Why are we here..? Isn't this your profession..?" He asked Damian, Damian nodded to Doug's question.

He thought for a bit, "Mhm.. remember what Bierce said? She could be talking about children loosing their loved ones in hospitals.." Damian replied, "Ah.. that might be it.. but let's wait and see.." Doug said, "Alright.." Damian replied, the two men entered inside the hospital entrance and they saw child drawings that the kids gave Damian in the hospital..

but Doug didn't know that.. it was greatly unsettling for Damian but he didn't want to show Doug.. since then there would be a lot of questions that even he doesn't know about,

There was doctors and nurses dressed up as animal.. or well have an animal bag on them and a tail according to the animal that they have, but it was precise of two animals for each gender, a cat and bunny for the males, and a bear and wolf for the girls, Doug gave Damian an confused glance, "Hello, welcome! Are you up to date with your shots?" One of the bunny doctors asked Damian, "Um.. yeah..? I'm a doctor.. I need to get shots in order not to fall sick and infect the patients.." Damian said, Doug pulled Damian close, and took a glance at the bunny man.

He just didn't trust this place.. especially with Damian here.. the place just seems too friendly to Damian.. "Damian I want you to stay close to me.. I have a bad feeling." Doug whispered to Damian, "Um.. I also have a bad feeling.." Damian replied, they soon meet up with someone at the front desk, it was one of the bunny doctors, he was in the phone.

It looked like he was talking with someone, "Mhm.. so you want them..? We could do that." The bunny doctor said, "Oh~ look at the devil, they both just arrived, oh and they're both lookers too.." He said, "Uh.. um thank you..?" Damian said, not sure to attack him or not.. eh.. he doesn't want the monsters chasing them now and Doug held no emotion to the compliment..

The bunny doctor thing just giggled, "I could see that life wasn't so kind to you both.. like loosing your dad...?" The bunny doctor said somewhat smugly, Doug just stared at her while Damian broke out crying, "What the hell..! You know our past.. and you said that of the ducking things you could say!" Doug yelled at the doctor. The doctor just sat there, "I would not have unruly patients in my hospital.. but we'll give you our mercy.." The doctor said then he disappeared, Doug groaned.. he tried to calm down Damian, it worked a bit.. but it wasn't much...

One of the nurses went up to them, "Excuse me sir but we need to do our routinely check up on our patients.. would you also like to become one of our patients..?" The bear nurse asked, "Yeah sure whatever.." Doug replied, "Okay dokie then sirs.. come on and follow me..!" One of the doctors said, they stayed silent and looked at each other and they both nodded, they were then both lead by one of them doctors on skates.

They both walked down a hallway that was covered in child's scribing drawings on the wall along with some animal designs on the wall. Doug kept Damian close, he doesn't trust him with them especially.. I could hear them whispering something to each other.. "You know sir.. you could join our siblinghood of healing and mercy?" One of the bunny doctors asked Damian, he was sorta uncomfortable with them being so close to him.

Doug glared slightly at the bunny man, "What is this 'Siblinghood of healing and mercy' about..?" He asked, "Hehe.. you can't know about that sir.. only Damian could know.." One of the bear nurses said, Doug felt creeped out when she said that but hey he was creeped out when Malak said something about him joining his side, whatever the hell that means..

But he shouldn't focus on that right now.. he should focus on getting the ring piece and escaping with Damian, but once they entered inside a room.. everything got weirder, "Would you like some tea sirs?" One of the wolf nurses, "Uhh.. sure..?" Damian said with slight confusion, Doug however was very skeptical of her..

Ever since he entered this horror freak show, everything was trying to kill him.. and he felt very uncomfortable about them asking Damian to join their siblinghood whatever the hell that is about.. and he certainly is not one hundred percent about this place.. especially it was after Malak told him that he would be on his side or whatever..

The two men were taken to the waiting area.. but Doug saw behind the see through doors, the murder monkeys were there, they glared the best they could at Doug.. but they were a little intrigued with the new mortal next to him, but that doesn't really matter to them right now..

After all two souls is better than one, Doug kept his eye on the monkeys as long as he could.. but he was interrupted by one of the nurses, "Sir.. it is time for your routine check ups." A bunny doctor said to Doug, he knew for certain that he didn't want that routinely check up, or whatever the hell he means by that..

Doug glanced over at Damian and saw that he was talking to one of the wolf nurses, but then they left, leaving the two mortals by themselves, "Okay Damian.. we need to go now." He said taking Damian's hand, "Alright." Damian replied, they both exited out of the room, and they both ran, "Come back sir! You need your injections!" One of the cat doctors said, Doug and Damian went through a door and closed and locked it.

The cat doctor was holding an large needle, "Fine then.. we won't accept unruly patients! It seems you both have been truly affected of the virus Bierce.. but you're just an disgusting person, it'll be nice for me to say that it won't be painful but they would be a lie but trust me when I say you'll never see it coming!" He said then he disappeared, "They can cloak themselves? That would be a problem, hurry on now!" Bierce said, Damian and Doug move throughout the hospital.

Seemingly the nurses and doctors seemed to still like Damian, so he thought of an idea, "Doug, I got an idea, the demon things here seemed to like me a lot, how about you take the tablet while I distract them." He said, "Alright, that seems to be a good idea.. but be careful tho, I'm worried for you.." Doug replied, "I will, well goodbye, I'll see you soon." Damian said, they both went their separate ways, Damian would run into one of them and then they'll try and talk to him.

Doug on the other hand did also run into a bunny or cat doctor or a bear and wolf nurse but with the help of the powers he was able to get away quickly, eventually Doug and Damian ran into each other, they still had s bit of shards left, they both ran into the direction of the shards, "Okay so how did it go for you?" Damian asked, "Erm.. somewhat uneventful, I ran into a few of those things a few times." Doug replied taking the last bit of the soul shards in this zone.

They both felt a little relieved now, "Okay travel to the next zone.. be careful though, the monsters are still out there.." Bierce said, they both listen and they followed down the hallway to get to the next zone.. there was a ambulance there with an cartoon bear head on it, there was a small platform to get on the ambulance, they got on the platform and they got on top of the ambulance and they headed off into a different hospital area.

They walked for a bit and they saw a new hospital, "Hey there handsomes!" A bunny doctor said jumping down from the hospital roof behind them. They both ran and entered into the other hospital that was even more childish, "Mhmmm... seems like a child's hospital.. hopefully we won't run into one." Bierce said, they continued to roam around, they saw a playroom at the end of the hallway.

Doug and Damian looked at each other, they were both nervous, they didn't know what they might run into when they entered, Damian took a deep breath and entered inside, Doug followed behind him, the place was huge, there were cardboard cutouts of the monkeys and the duckies, then one of the bunny doctors appeared behind the toy bars, "Going down? I'm sure the kids would be happy to see you!" He said then he disappeared again.

Damian was a little unsettled by what he said.. he absolutely adore children.. that's why he became a doctor in the first place.. "Everything okay Damian..?" Doug asked, he was a little worried for his new found friend.. "Erm.. kinda.. I'm just nervous doing this.. and we're going to run into new things that we don't know the capabilities are.." Damian replied, "True.. but we need to keep on pushing forward.." Doug said, "Yeah.. you're right.." Damian replied, they then saw a slide, they were cautious but they went down it anyway.

It looked like a jungle gym.. the lighting was dim but they could see well in it.. there was tons of soul shards on the platforms of the jungle gym, but there was shards on the other side, around 360 soul shards in the entire room.. "Okay same plan as before I'll distract the kids and you get the soul shards.." Damian said, "Alright.. hopefully they'll be the same as the doctors and nurses.." Doug said then he took off, Damian followed behind then they spilt up in different directions..

Doug had to do some jumps or climbing to get to the other platforms, or had to go across bridges which was kinda hard because of the dim lighting, he hasn't seen anyone yet which he can't decide if that was good or bad, then suddenly the lights completely went out, then there was show lights, it landed one of the platforms farthest away from Doug, he saw what to be a middle schooler there..

She had long black claws and some burned parts of her body like Agatha... "Who is she..?" Doug asked a little curiously, "That.. is Malak's other daughter named Annabelle.." Bierce said, "Why didn't you tell me that he had another kid?" Doug asked a little irritated, "Because I thought that you guys would never meet.." Bierce replied, Doug sighed, but he payed close attention to Annabelle, "I think we have two new friends to play with everyone..! C'mon out don't be shy!" She called out, Doug was rather hesitant on moving.

Damian stared at Annabelle in confusion, he didn't know the demon had children.. or even that was even possible, but he continued his running and jumping to platform to another platform, "Hehe.. found ya!" A girl voice said, Damian saw what appears to be a high schooler, age had blond hair and she looked to be a grey fox, in clothing, "H- hi.." He replied, "Are you are new friend?.. Along with that other mortal?" She asked tho he could sense some malice when she was speaking about Doug..

Damian didn't know what to do, "Um.. erm.. yes..?" He said, "Yay! I'll tell the others! Stay here." She said running off then Damian ran the other way, he climbed up a a rope ladder, and he ran a bit more, he than ran into a black haired with white hair at the front with a red stripe bunny.

They both seemed surprised to see each other, Oh! A- are you the guy that Reynard was talking about..?" The black and white hair bunny asked, "Yes..?" Damian replied, "Okay.. where's the other guy..?" The bunny asked, "Uhh.. um.. somewhere.." Damian replied, "Oh.." The bunny said sadly, "Um.. bye now.." Damian said then he ran off.

Doug on the other hand was running away from Annabelle, but he was able to get away from her, eventually he saw something off at one of the passageways, so he went up to it and saw a room.. he entered inside and there was a note, 'As I feared, the circus and cathedral were just more dead ends. I had hoped to avoid making any more jumps, but there was no such luck. The additional jumps hit me harder than I was prepared for.' Doug read so far, but he was confused, what did 'E' mean by 'jumps'?

Doug decided to read more, 'The symptoms were excruciating and still have not yet fully subsided. More and more, I'm aware that my time is running out. The demon's path led me to a rather large and ominous looking hospital, when I entered inside, they didn't seemed to be bothered by me.. strangely enough I learned the names of them all, but it was all a facade they put up, I was chased into this hellhole with the children, they are especially the worst.' Doug read, he could agree to that, the adults seemed more peaceful.

He felt that he should read more, 'Whenever something very terribly happens to a doctor or nurse that they go mad, that is what the nurses and doctors are made up by, the children are kids who were never able to grow up, do they depend on the nurses and doctors here to care for them.' Doug read, he felt a little bad to the children but their life is endangered if they stayed too long here..

So Doug ran back to Damian, and they collected the last bit of the soul shards, "Mhm.. that's strange.. there are more soul shards." Bierce said, they saw another slide, they went down it, they saw an construction site like place underneath the jungle gym, the ring statue was there.. "You need to be care as they will still give chase." Bierce said, "Alright.." Damian replied, "Come on out! We will find ya!" Annabelle said, they both ran away from the voice, they hoped across the metal gaps.

Damian and Doug found somewhere to have a breather, "*pant* s- so how should *pant* we do this? S- same deal as last time..?" Damian replied, "S- sure.. *pant* but he careful *pant* I think they are like the others here.." Doug replied, "Alright, that's fair.." Damian said, Doug ran into the direction away from the creatures kids while Damian ran towards them, he ran into a brown hair bunny.

The bunny kid looked at him curiously, "Oh? Reynard talked something about you.. including Virtuous said something about you.." He said, "Oh..?" Damian replied, "Well erm.. what is your name?" Damian asked, "Ikken.. that is my name.." The bunny said, "T- that's nice.. I'm.. Damian.." Damian said, in hopes that if he gave out his name, they'll ease down on them.

Thankfully it somewhat worked, "Okay.. have you met Annabelle..?" Ikken asked, "Erm.. no I haven't.." Damian replied, "O- oh.. I could go get her!" Ikken said then he ran off, but Doug on the other hand was trying to gather up the last of the shards, he collected 3/4 of this zone, the direction of the rest of the solid shards points to where the monsters were last seen.

Doug despite his slight fears went towards the shards, he eventually collected the rest of them and ran into Damian, "Damian there you are, c'mon let's get out of here.." Doug said, "Alright.. but they for some reason loved me.." Damian replied, "Yeah.. but let's go now.. after we collect the ring, they'll chase us both.." Doug said, Damian nodded, they both collect the last shard, "You've collected the last shard.. get the ring piece.." Bierce said, they went back to the beginning of the construction site entrance and Damian grabbed the ring piece.

They both started to head out then the children appeared, "You! You're taking our friends! You're... bad person!" Annabelle shouted at Doug, "And to manipulate a kind soul like him!" Annabelle continued pointing to Damian, who was very confused.. "But not to worry Damian! I'm sure you'll make a good head doctor!" Annabelle cheered, "And you get to play with us.." Ikken said, "Yeah! You'll even be incharge of the doctors and nurses.." Reynard said, "Yeah.. you could even help take down the mortals.. you'll be an amazing monster.." Virtuous said, "What..?" Damian replied, "Sadly Daddy couldn't be here right now.. but he'll come soon but we'll have you both prepared for him so you could join us!" Annabelle said, they started to slowly approach.

Doug held Damian's hand and then Doug used teleportation and then he used the speed boost, he had to jump to platform to platform. He managed to get out of the playhouse with Damian then they both started running to the door, they managed to get out and they ran back to the ambulance and got on, the ambulance beginning to move then a overly large cartoon bear car was driving up and a few ambulances showed up..

Damian and Doug looked stunned, "The hell..!" Doug said startled, "Wow.. I didn't see that one coming.." Bierce said, "Well we didn't either Bierce!" Doug replied sarcastically, "They just don't give up.." Damian said, "GIVE IT UP MORTALS!" One of the doctors shouted through the bear, "Like hell we would!" Doug shouted back, "Then.. we're going have to stop you unruly patients.. we're going to wrap you both up in bows for Lord Malak!" The doctor shouted, "We won't let you do that!" Doug shouted, then suddenly one of the bunny doctors appeared.

He tried to hit Doug off but he used to primal fear and pushed him off, it tripped up the car a little bit, Doug teleported himself and Damian to the next ambulance, then one of the wolf nurses appeared and Doug did the same thing, they both did this a few more times until the car swerved and crashed, there was smoke coming out of it, but Doug nor Damian made much attention to it.

They managed to get back to the other hospital and they got off the ambulance, they head were heading back to the entrance and back to the portal then suddenly, one of the kids appeared along with a few of the nurses and doctors, "Stop them!" Annabelle commanded, the nurses and doctors tried to drag Damian but Doug used the primal fear and then he pushed the cat doctor and the wolf nurse, then he grabbed Damian's hand and used the speed boost.

He managed to pass the other nurses and doctors and he went out of the hospital and ran towards the portal, they both jumped through it, "Okay.. that was weird.." Damian said, "Mh..? What happened..?" Evans asked, "The monsters in that realm seemed to like Damian.. they offered him to join him..! The kids there gave their own personal reasons for him to join!" Doug said, "And apparently Malak has another daughter.." Doug said, still confused a little.. who knows, he might have a third..

Evans and Damian on the other hand didn't know of the other child that Doug was talking about, "Wait.. Malak has kids..?" Evans asked, "Yes.. two girls, the oldest is Annabelle and the youngest is Agatha.. who you two haven't met.." Bierce said, "Okay then.." Evans replied, "But strangely enough.. I found a note on her level.. apparently she had a babysitter.. or another sibling besides Annabelle, that died..?" Doug said confused showing them the note.

They were both confused.. but then suddenly Damian had a small headache.. "Urgh.. my head hurts.." He complained, "Mhm.. maybe we all should take a small break.." Bierce said, "But first bring the ring piece here.." Bierce continued, Damian went up and gave her the ring piece, then Malak showed up in the eyeball form.

None of them were pleased to see him, "You are becoming quite opportunistic, Doug.. how unfortunate for you that I was already occupied with more pressing matters. That will not happen again.. thanks to the four of you.. dangerous forces are now in motion. You are disrupting my business and I cannot afford your insolence to continue any longer!" Malak yelled, "Next thing you'll know he'll be pleading with you.. that's because he's losing, soon the ring will be mine again." Bierce said, she was very confident in her statement.

A new portal opened up, it was a bunny with a bow tie on it, "Should we all go on this one..?" Damian asked, "Yeah.. the more people we have, the more easier it would be to beat the monsters in there." Doug replied, "Sure.. and we could watch each other's backs more easier.." Evans replied, the three men entered inside the portal.
