{Third POV}

Doug and Damian saw a large wall with a crossed duck on it, it was blocking the hallway, Damian sighed, "Malak has blocked the entrance.. now that's just pathetic don't you think..." Bierce said mockingly, "Yeah kinda.. that is pretty pathetic." Damian said in agreement, "Never to fear loves, there is a solution for this.. You're just going to rearrange your brain a bit.. come to the ring alter." Bierce said, they both headed out of the portal.

They went to the ring alter, Doug held the tablet, they were given the power telepathy. Damian and Doug went through the portal again. Doug activated the telepathy power and he was able to see through the walls. He saw a figure of a monkey from the first portal, "Yo Dougy.. what do you see...?" Damian asked, "I see a previous creature from one of the levels.." Doug replied as he touched the wall, the wall fell down.

The monkey that was guarding it was startled and ran away, the wall moved up. Doug and Damian then walked through the hallway, "Just don't let me catch you trying to see through anything besides walls." Bierce said, "Er... I don't think I'll be seeing anything else other than walls?" Doug replied, "I'm not that perverted." He continued, "Well.. you better not be." Bierce responded, "And I have an amazing relationship with my boyfriend named Hajime.. so yeah no." Damian replied, Doug and Damian then found themselves standing in what looked to be a sewer.

There was a sudden bad smell that struck at their nose. Doug cringed at it and Damian make a disgusted face, they were both standing in dirty water, which also smelled bad, "Not afraid of a little sewer water are you? Just don't get any of it in your mouth.." Bierce said, Doug and Damian then walked forward. It was a little dark and damp. They were both wary of their surroundings, "You've heard the urban legends, I'm sure. All kinds of things get flushed down here. Alligators, goldfish, duckies..." Bierce said as lights flashed on on the right side of them.

There was three pair of ducks sitting on the water blocked by gates. Doug was a bit startled while Damian found the duckies to be adorable, they kept on forward. Doug walked towards the wall and touched it. The wall began to move up, "Mmm, this sewer smells very... ripe. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little." Bierce said, Doug noticed a web barrier in the way.

Doug activated his speed boost and ran through it breaking it. He was blocked by a closed wall. Damian ran up to catch up to him, Doug noticed that there was a hole on the wall beside him and Damian on the right, "Well that's interesting.." Bierce said, a little intreed, there was writing on the walls next to the hole and it read, 'Watch out for the BIG ONE', 'The big one? What could that mean?' Doug thought, "I think we should be careful.. I think there's something inside there.." Damian said, instantly there was a pair of eyes were seen through the darkness of the hole.

Something suddenly grabbed at Damian's throat, it was beginning to choke him. Damian quickly attempted to struggle of removing whatever grabbed at his neck. Doug tried to help the hand off of Damian's neck, whatever was in the hole then released Damian's throat and dissapeared. Damian gasped and took a few deep breaths, "Wha....? What the hell was that?" He asked, "I- I don't know.. are you okay? Do you have anything on your bag that could help?" Doug asked, "No.. I'll be fine.. let's just try and hurry this up do we could leave.." Damian replied, "I think that must be the 'big one'." Bierce replied, "Do be careful loves." Bierce continued, Doug touched the wall, then it moved up.

They walked into an area that had three ways to go, he looked at his tablet, seeing the shards in the straight direction. He touched another wall and opened, "We should at least be focussing on opening up all the doors because if the monster duckies starts chasing us, we could escape more easier or one of us could collect the shards as the other opens up the doors." Damian said, "Yeah that is a pretty good idea." Doug replied, Doug began collecting the first couple of shards he saw.

Damian opened up the doors and collected a few shards. Doug noticed some dirty ducks with dark eyes and filth on them were sitting by in the water. Doug stopped, he felt like one would move any second, "Um.. why'd you stop moving..?" Damian asked then he noticed the duckies, "They're trying to blend in eh? Let's see how well you both could pay attention to the details of them." Bierce said, "Oh boy... this is gonna be a tuff one". Doug muttered, "Yeah.. but at least we have each other to rely on.." Damian said, Doug agreed, they both walked forward.

They both collected a few shards each. Doug stopped at a corner and then he touched the wall and when the wall moved upwards, they heard a squeak behind them and they turned to see a duck with legs now moving, 'Shit!' Doug thought as he quickly turned forward, and grabbed Damian's hand, he ducked them both under the moving wall and quickly began running, he quickly ran off and took a few sharp turns. Damian kept Doug's pace, the duck had lost them both.

They both stood by in the middle in a couple of more ways. Doug activated his telepathy power. He was now able to see what ducks were alive, some that were redlined were far and some were close by, 'We better prepare ourselves to run in case they find us..' Doug thought, he quickly prepared his telepathy and speed boost powers while holding Damian.. who was very light. He placed down Damian and they both began to collect the shards while opening up the wall doors.

The only hard part was opening the walls considering they were both nearly cornerer a couple of times. Damian even had one or more ducks chasing him but Doug was able to stop them with the primal fear. When Doug and Damian didn't see any more shards, they stopped as they made a sharp turn as a duck was chasing them but now lost them, "You've both gathered half the shards. Try to live long enough to get the rest.." Bierce said, they quickly began to find the next zone.

Doug and Damian had woke up one of the duckies that was close by when they passed by it. They began to run and Doug held onto Damian's hand as he activated speed boost. They had both lost the duck and Doug let out a small sigh, they took a couple of sharp turns before finding a room that was filled with duckies and boxes. There was the ring barrier nearby, "Well, here's the ring barrier. Geez, this place is a huge maze..." Doug muttered, "Yeah.. and the smell is unbearable.." Damian said in agreement, there was rumbling.

They both then heard a loud roar of a creature that came all around. Doug couldn't tell which direction it came from. He stopped as everything began to shake before it then stopped, "I'm sure that rumbling is nothing to be concerned about.." Bierce said, "Nothing to be concerned about? Yeah sure that's real assuring.." Doug sarcastically said, "Yeah.. I think we need to be careful if we get close to that beast.." Damian said, they went to the other side and entered another zone.

This zone was darker than the previous level but not that much, but it was still pretty dim, Doug activated his telepathy ability and the duckies that were alive were far from them both, "They're hiding in the shadows..." Bierce whispered, "Yeah.. and it's creepy as hell and I- I hate it's darker here.." Damian muttering the last part, Doug didn't care about the duckies. He was ready to make a run for it with Damian.

Doug collected the last few shards and managed to get the last one. Doug passed the tablet to Damian, they both ran into a ducky and Damian grabbed onto Doug and activated the speed boost, Doug noticed that they weren't being chased anymore and Damian noticed it as well, they both stopped, "That's the last shard. Get to the ring piece.." Bierce said, they quickly headed to where they found the ring barrier.

That's when they heard Malak, "You can't speed boost your way out of death this time, mortals!" He yelled, Malak appeared out of a random pathway. He nearly caught Doug at his throat before Damian activated the speed boost while grabbing onto Doug, running away from Malak, they made it to the ring alter and grabbed the ring piece, "That's far enough mortals." Malak said, the doors shut before they could even move.

Damian stared at the demon with suspicion, "You know, you both are the first of Bierce's pets to actually cause me trouble. I should commend you both for your tenacities.. you're both quite interesting I have to admit. Seeing you're still alive pass through my monsters.." Malak said, "Well, I'm trying to get my life back.. and Bierce is offering to help me for it." Doug said, "Look.. I'm going to assume you're Malak here.. so I'm going to agree with Doug and also neither me or Evans know how the hell we got here.. I wanna go home and the only way out is helping Bierce so I'm going to take it.." Damian said, he glared at the demon.

Doug on the other hand, wanted to leave right now as he felt that something bad was going to happen.. but he didn't know if it would happen to him or Damian, but he wanted to leave immediately, "I rather be on my way now with Damian.." Doug said, "Oh? Are you? Are you three not aware that you are nothing but a puppets to her? Once she gets all of the ring pieces. She'll betray you all.. she's only pretending to help for now. You mortals matter nothing to her." Malak sneered, Doug simply raised a brow and could care less about what the demon said.

Damian didn't believe a word that Malak said, as because they were aware that demons are untrustworthy deceiving lairs and they would deceive anyone to get what they want.. which was their souls.. Malak was obviously fucking toying with them both. Doug glared a bit, "You're obviously lying. We're not that stupid.." Doug said, "If anything really, maybe you're trying to get us to turn on Bierce, you demons aren't fooling anyone here.. you're certainly not fooling me or Doug." Damian said, "Hrrgh...." Malak groaned in annoyance, but Malak quickly thought of a reply.. acting rather cocky.

As if this might convince them, "Well.. that is a fair point. I could be lying and I am a demon.. but I rest assure you, Bierce will toss you three away like a useless tools the minute she has no use for you for anything. She's not so innocent... I'll tell you that. Fortunately, watching you both run around obediently has also reminded me that I have a loyal pet as well. Here, let me introduce you so you thr- or rather two can get more properly acquaintance.. but don't worry I'm sure your other friend would meet my pet soon enough after I kill you both!" Malak said as the wall behind him opened and moved up.

There was a large duck like thing with many limbs attached to it, that kind looked like hands, "Now you'll have to excuse me I must take my leave, business calls elsewhere. Oh and Bierce, I know you're there peering through your two little puppets. I'll be setting matters to you soon." Malak said before then disappearing into thin air.

Doug quickly jumped out of the way when a duck was suddenly thrown at him, "Now that's a huge duckie." Bierce said, "Yeah well, no kidding Bierce!" Doug replied, "Use the pillars to slow it down!" Bierce yelled, Doug and Damian quickly doged another duckie that was thrown. They dodged the hits of duckies three more times before the duck monster made a final throw, then it suddenly stopped, Doug quick spun the pillars.

The duckie then began to throw ducks at Doug and Damian once again. This was repeated a couple of times. The real duckies weren't really a problem because Damian distracted them along with the big duckie. Eventually, the giant duckie finally stopped. An alarming sound from afar went off, "Getting back to the portal is not going to be so easy this time. Don't screw this up!" Bierce yelled, Doug didn't think twice and quickly bolted out of the room.

Damian was quick to follow him, they made a couple of sharp turns to get back at the previous zone. While they were both storming through the hall in the dirty waters. Damian and Doug felt a presence from behind them, "You're not out yet mortals!" Malak said, Doug and Damian could hear the giant duck behind them. They quickly stormed off and opened the walls.

Doug quickly touched another pair of walls to open. Damian then managed to find the portal and quickly activated his speed boost while holding Doug's hand, Doug nearly got bit by the giant duck, but Damian successfully jumped in through the portal, "Great! Another piece! Place it at the alter." Bierce said, and Doug did what he was told, "It vexes me greatly that you three still here mortals. Now she has another piece of that infernal ring..." Malak said, "Every piece Bierce gets makes her more powerful. Don't you get that meat sacks? What do you think is going to happen when she doesn't need you three anymore?" Malak continued then asked, Doug paused, a little confused on what to say.

He was about to say something back but Bierce cut him off, "He's right. I am getting more powerful, powerful enough to fullfill your every wish. That's why you're here isn't it?" Bierce said with confidence, "Bierce.. why not tell him and the others what fate befell the last person that trusted you?" Malak asked, Bierce only responded with silence and turned away. Doug raised a brow, Damian was now a little curious and Evans was starting to doubt Bierce a little. Doug wanted to say something but nothing came to mind.

The fifth portal exploded upwards and revealed a clown figure icon on it, "Okay Doug, I think you should take a break.. me and Evans got this." Damian said, "A- ah.. alright then.. stay safe." Doug replied, Damian quickly headed towards it. Evans hesitated a bit but followed, the two men stepped through the portal. They froze when they saw a monkey that was in the middle of the hallway, 'This is probably one of the monsters that Doug faced before I and Evans came here..' Damian thought, the monster was eyeing them.

It was also preparing for attack, "Malak's left a monster to guard the entrance, reeks of desperation don't you think?" Bierce asked, "You'll just have to scare it off. Stare into it's eyes and convince that you're the bigger monster. Trust me it works, just ask my late husband. Go to the ring altar." Bierce said, the two men headed out of the portal. Damian quickly stood by the alter and looked upon his tablet.

He was given the power of primal fear, "What's this?" Evans asked, "Yoi just noticed this..?" Damian asked, "No.. I just wanr to know what it does.. as I've seen you or Doug get new powers through that.." Evans replied, "It is a tablet with given powers from the ring altar. You'll be needing these powers half way through your mission to receive the ring pieces." Bierce replied, "The tablet is your guidance.." Bierce continued, "C'mon, let's go Ev!" Damian said, he pulled Evans and both headed back to the portal. They both stopped and Damian then activated the primal fear. The monkey was stunned. Damian and Evans then headed forward in the hallway.

They found themselves standing in what looked to be a circus or a carnival of some kind, "Ahh... the circus.. those were pretty popular in my day too.. such talent and shownmansharp, as a girl the performance never failed to fill me with wonder." Bierce said, "Watching them.. I wanted to become a star too. Now children just sit around and what..? Watch others play video games, like Markiplier and FuzionZGamer or probably 8-BitRyan" Bierce continued, "Ah.. okay then.." Damian said, he was very familiar with them..

He quite enjoys their content, especially Fuzions and Marks.. "Moving on.. I think we should at least try and get to know each other.. as a starter, my Mom used to take me to watch the carnival.." Evans said, "But the carnival eventually died down and I never went again." Evans continued, "Haha.. I can't relate to that.. haha..." Damian said as he was terrified of clowns so he never went to a carnival.. it was also because his mother never took him.

Damian and Evans then walked inside, seeing a pairs of plushies of the creatures that chased them and a duck and monkeys in a cage, there was a carousel in the middle that was moving lightly. There was web barriers blocking the ways out. Evans tensed up a bit seeing a clown with a mouth of the barrier web, "Let me guess... Coulrophobia?" Bierce asked, "Er... well... sorta. I never really personally liked clowns." Evan replied, "Yes.. I'm terrified of clowns.. so please universe don't let there be clowns or at least not make them threatening.." Damian said, "Wait, there's a way here." Evans said then headed to an open way.

Damian all be it nervous quickly followed. Both men stopped to notice a clown car. It was sitting there frozen before driving off, "I think they're inviting you both in. Ready for the big top?" Bierce asked, Damian tensed up a bit but he quickly kept his calm. Evans stormed right in as Damian kept on following behind. They stopped to notice a hammer bell. Evans noticed a hammer and picked it up, "Go on, press it. You know you want to. Live a little." Bierce said, Evans then lifted the hammer and brought it down hard on the bell.

It let out a ring once it hit the top, "Oh my.. you actually did it, I may have underestimated how little you consider your consequences." Bierce said, suddenly a cage appeared, Damian and Evans were inside, "Woah!" Evans shouted while he was startled, "What the hell?" Damian said, a clown car then appeared and drove around the cage, nearly making Damian and Evans dizzy. It stopped and a couple of clowns came out. They began to claw at the cage. Damian immediately activated the primal fear power, he was quite proud of himself..

The clowns vanished in thin air, "You both seem to be far luckier in this world, Damian and Evans." Bierce said, "Well I doubt that for long." Damian said, "So now what?" Evans asked, "We'll have to go and get all of the shards, then then ring piece, and leave this place for good.." Damian said, "Might want to prepare yourself when you're being chased" Bierce said, Damian and Evans looked up at the clown mouth.

Damian looked scared.. Evans petted his hand in hopes to calm him down, Damian sigh, "Thank you.. let's go and try and not die.." Damian said, they both walked straight in. They were met a large way that showed shards. There was many ways to go and undernearh them was nothing. There was arrows and clown faces. The arrows were pointing down the slide. "Looks like they want us to go." Evans said, he was a little intrigued.

Damian and Evans then slided down, then they slided up. They were met with the sound of Malak laughing, which kicked in Damian's tenseness about being in this horror show. Evan's eyes widened at the sudden laughter, "What an unusual nightmare.." Bierce said, Damian and Evans then began collecting the shards. They spit up and went different ways to go, any time they bump into each other or go different ways, they switch possessions of the tablet.

Letting the other use it and then handing it back, they tried not to fall off the area, getting crush by the two hammers, or getting attacked by a group of clowns, when they collected all of the shards in the area, "Go to the next zone. There's a green portal that can lead you out of here." Bierce said, Damian and Evans then happened to find one around the corner and quickly headed to it. They were in a room with no doors or way out, it was only them and the ring barrier.

The room began to spin and move slowly, then a clown came out of the wall and attempted to chase the men, Damian activated the primal fear, eventually, they went to a portal and stood infront of a seat, leading to where it said 'funhouse' being there only one seat. Damian and Evans then sat together, it was a little cramped.. "Are one of you prone to motion sickness? I hope not because there's plenty more of this here.." Bierce said, Damian and Evans simply held onto the ride as it began to go down.

They were then met up with giant clowns waving at them, "Oh hell no! I'm never coming back here! I'm not coming back after I get out!" Damian shouted, Evans tried to calm him down, eventually he calmed down and there was a lot of motion movement with the walls, eventually, they stopped and got off the seat, "There's giant clowns?" Evans asked, "Yeah, hopefully that it just it.." Damian replied, they both went to the portal and stood infront of an entrance with two clown boards.

They were a sign above the ceiling that said 'Have fun!', "What's black and white and red all over? I'd start running before you find out.." Bierce said, 'Another chase... again..?' Damian thought bitterly, Evans didn't even have to ask. He was aware of what Bierce told him in the beginning but he still doesn't really understand why they're doing this.. but that doesn't really matter right now, all he needs to do is get out of here with Damian, the two men then entered the maze and began to collect the shards. They spilt and went to different floors and ways, then went together.

They tried avoiding groups of the clowns, when they couldn't find any shards, they meet up once again, "Couldn't find the last shard?" Damian asked, "No.. I haven't seen any." Evans replied, "Well.. let's spilt up again and see if we could find it." Damian said, the two men then quickly took sharps turns in the hallways. They both saw the last shard in the middle of the hallway. Damian quickly ran up and snatched it, "That's it! Get to the ring piece." Bierce said, "You both just don't know when you quit won't you!?" Malak yelled, "Nope!" Damian replied, he appeared out of nowhere and headed towards where Damian was standing at, "Shit! Quick run Evans!" Damian yelled, he quickly took Evan's hand and began running away from the demon.

Evans was confused on who that was.. "Wha- Who is that!?" Evans asked, "No time to answer that!! We'll tell you once we get back!" Damian yelled while replying, the two men then ran out back to the entrance and towards the portal. They were in the room with the ring barrier. Damian and Evans panted out of breath. Evans went to snatch the ring piece, "I.. ha.. *pant* w- who was that?.." Evans asked, "That's...*pant* Malak. He's a demon trying to take my soul along with yours and Doug." Damian replied, "No need to worry much about him love." Bierce said, "All you need to worry about is getting the ring pieces and staying alive." Bierce continued, Damian just wanted to leave..

Damian tugged on Evans, "Let's go.. I wanna leave this horror show.." Damian said, the two men then headed to the portal and then went back to the entrance of the circus, they attempted to head back to the portal. A web barrier appeared, blocking their way and preventing them from leaving, "Ah-ah-ah! I've got you now mortals." Malak said, he appeared by the carousel. He was then suprised to see Evans still surviving.. he thought that it would be Doug.. "Oh. I see another mortal that's a challenge.. are there any more besides you and Doug and that one..?" Malak said, they were both agitated at the demon.

Malak somewhat seemed pleased.. "Bierce, you have another loyal puppet besides those two meat sacks? Well, that is fine.. I'll be glad to take another soul that amazes me.. I'll take Doug's later after I finish you both.." Malak said, "I'm not giving up my soul. Neither of us are giving you our souls! Neither is Doug! We'll be taking the ring and be on our way." Damian said, "Keep on bluffing.. but soon you will take back your words. It's not going to go quite well for you this time. I'll finish you off here and take both of your souls". Malak said, "That said.. seeing as you're so capable, let's up the ante a bit shall we? I don't want to keep underestimating your luck." Malak continued, a the same set of giant clowns appeared in the air.

They stared down at Damian and Evans. The two men were instantly shocked.. but Damian was somewhat scared.. but he needs to protect Evans.. Malak smirked from seeing their reaction, "Keep em laughing while you both die. Won't you? hahahHAHAHA!!!" Malak laughed before then disappearing, "Fucking demon.." Damian muttered, "Shit.. this won't be easy.. will it..?" Evans said, a pair of clowns appeared from thin air and headed towards the men.

Evans looked to noticed two hammers that were sitting by, he snatched them, "Damian! Here!" Evans called out, Damian turned to a hammer being handed to them, "Thank you.. hopefully we'll end this.." Damian said, Evans gave a quick nod, Damian and Evans gripped their hammers as the clowns were ganging up on them. They began swinging the hammers at the clowns. They popped from each swing they receive.. but the giant clowns kept on spawing them. Damian had used the primal fear on them a couple of times.. and they still kept on coming.

This was starting to irritate Damian more than scare him, "Dammit! Why do they kept on appearing?!" Damian yelled in frustration. Evans looked to be distressed and tired.. he turned to look at one of the giant clowns that was simply smiling at them as they were fighting off the clowns. A giant clown was about to crush Damian, Evans immediately noticed, "Damian look out!" He quickly shoved Damian out of the way before he was crushed, they both avoided being crushed.

Damian was a little stunned, "Woah!" Damian noticed the giant clown that nearly crushed them, "Thank you Evans!" Damian said, "No problem.." Evans replied, "Maybe perhaps trying swinging at their fists when they hit the ground?" Bierce suggested, "Good idea Bierce thank you!" Damian said, "We could do that.. hopefully that would work.." Evans said, "They can't keep this up forever" Bierce said, Damian then got up and quickly stormed toward the clown. He gripped his hammer and slammed it onto the fist of the clown.

The clown growled and was stunned, Damian and Evans kept on swinging the hammers at the giant clowns at their fists, while Damian kept on using primal fear on the mini clowns or hitting them with the hammer. They kept this up to the point where there wasn't anymore clowns, the carnival circus was now empty. Damian and Evans were panting out of breath.

Damian looked around him and Evans, he saw nothing, "I... I think that's all of them.." Damian said, "Yeah...*pant* I think so." Evans replied, "No! Impossible!" Malak yelled, which instantly startled Damian and Evans, "Mortals... both of your suffering will be ETERNAL!!!" Malak shouted, he then appeared and began to fly towards the two men.

They quickly headed towards back the portal before Malak could even catch them, both of them jumped through and stumbled into the ballroom, "Oh.. both of you are here and alive. Good." Bierce said, "Are you guys okay..?" Doug asked, Damian and Evans was still panting.. but they replied no less, "Yup ever- *pant* -things good!" Damian replied, "Yeah.. we're just kinda *pant* tired.." Evans replied, then suddenly the demon spoke.

It caught the attention of everyone.. "You're only delaying the inevitable Bierce. You can't keep me out of your pocket dimension forever.." Malak said, "I'm coming to collect what is owed, and I'm bring your worst nightmares with me. As for the three of you mortals, I'll be dealing with you three later on... you will pay with interest. You give her that ring piece and you're going to regret it" Malak continued, Damian was agitated.

He glared at the eyeball demon thing, "Look I just wanna go home! I don't know why I'm here but I'm here.. and like I said before Bierce is offering me a way out without giving up my soul and so I'll take it.." Damian said, "More lies and empty threats from the demon. You expect them to trust you after you tried to kill them.. and kill Doug at every turn?" Bierce asked turning to the large door where Malak was watching them at, "Enjoy your moment mortals.. it won't last for long. You will come to my side Doug..." Malak said, Doug felt a bit uneasy when he heard Malak say that.

Damian was pissed, he gripped onto Doug and held him, and glared at the eyeball demon thing. Evans felt rather a bit suspicious of the demon's tone at his last sentence he spoke, "What difference does it make? Bring the piece here love." Bierce said, Evans then brought the ring piece to the altar. Evans stood by as he was wondering about Malak's words that were told to them, "Evan?" Doug called out, he saw that his detective friend was looking worried.

Bierce stepped forward, "Don't fear loves.. Malak cannot cause harm to you here.. and if anything, he's only trying to manipulate you. Don't listen to his words.." Bierce said, "I don't know.. I have a bad feeling about this.." Evans said, "You should.. I'm going to make you all regretful of your actions.." Malak said, "You'll be begging for mercy.." Malak continued, Bierce simply rolled her eyes, "Oh sure.. I'm sure we will..." She sarcastically said, Malak groaned in annoyance.

Doug stared at the large door as he was lost in his thoughts, 'I wonder what's the history between them.. eh I'll probably never find out..' Damian thought, however Doug was thinking the same thing as Damian.. "Five down, four more to go.. are you ready for another one?" Bierce said, "It seems this is one of Damian sins.. huh..? Well that's weird.." Bierce continued her sentence but she was confused by something.. but the portal lifted up anyways and a head figure rose up who looks to be a wolf..?
