Kokichis pov

One week later

I was walking around the school garden by myself. Kaito was stuck in detention so I was on my own. Out of the corner of my eyes I saw nagito sitting on a bench looking upset.

"brother" I ran up to him happily.

He looked up in surprise "kokichi what are you doing here? I thought you would have been spending time with your wonderful friends"

"kaito has detention" I sighed as I took a seat next him "so what about you? Where are your friends?"

He laughed bitterly "silly brother. Trash like me doesn't have friends"

I wish he wouldn't call himself trash "what do you mean you don't have friends?"

"isn't it obvious. Trash like me could never make friends with such hopeful students" he smiled brightly.

I clenched my fist in anger "that's it!" I grabbed his sleeve and dragged him inside the school.

"wait kokichi where are you taking me!?"
