Chapter 45: He is a monster
Lucifer's POV
There were a few more days left before the completion of this construction project. The materials used for this were the same ones used for my castle and the houses in hell. It'd withstand any heat even if the source was lava or a blazing meteor. We sometimes have meteor showers in hell on a peaceful Sunday night. I was extremely excited to show it to Keetan once we were done here.
But before we obliterate this whole town, I must make the necessary preparations. I have to move Derek and his family to some other place as well as Ethan and his parents and even that brat Edward and his family before the utter destruction that I was going to give to this municipality.
Even though I don't give a shit about these mortals, Keetan treasured them. I also owe Derek and his family a debt of gratitude for taking care of my sweet baby.
While I talked with the engineer, Samael arrived and assessed his stage for the concert. His stage was about 250 meters in length and 150 meters in width. He had a separate stage which could move at any speed and movement all around the arena. It was just a circular black disk which could fly using air pressure to push down the ground (but really it was just dark demonic magic). Samael could not stay in one place. He always loved to tour inside the venue of his concert while he pulverized the eardrums of his fans and listeners.
I thanked the brainwashed engineer and approached Samael. I left Keetan alone in bed and I was guilty of it. I wanted to get this over with so I was putting extra time in rushing the workers. I hope they cooked lunch for him. My dear sweetheart was really exhausted from yesterday's activities.
"Where's Keetan?" I asked the reaper. He placed one foot on the disk and then the other and then stepped on the red button. The disk floated.
"He was supposed to follow me here but that Ken kid called him," he said to me. He stepped on another button near the edge of the circular flat disk and rose up. Samael howled like a moron and flew around the stage. The brainwashed workers paid him no mind.
Derek's child was the epitome of trouble. I just hope that Keetan doesn't get hooked up to any of that boy's antics. On the contrary, I wished for Kennedy's perverted and hyper attitude to seep inside Keetan.
My beautiful red-head was too mature for his age. I wanted him to act spoiled a little. His parents caused him to grow up too fast. My fists clenched when I remembered the night he was locked inside the barn.
I hated myself for not being there. If only I came in sooner...Keetan would be with me in hell right now. Derek entered my peripheral vision. His reflexes saved him when he ducked away from the disk that was to behead him.
"Oops! Sorry!" Samael laughed. Derek stared at the disk for a while with his hand on his chest. If I was a human I would be scared shitless but I was Satan, I could just grab the disk and throw it like a Frisbee with Samael on it.
I laughed out loud when I imagined it. That would be an extraordinary sight. Superb Lucifer, superb!
"You okay?" I asked.
Derek snapped out from his trauma and chuckled sheepishly. "I almost lost my head there." The man took closer steps to me and handed me an envelope filled with documents. "Those are all complete now, boss. Is there anything else I can do?"
I smiled and shook my head. "No, you did a great job. I'm impressed."
"It's a well-paying job boss. The least I can do is to do my best. Thank you for this."
I slapped his back lightly. "Actually, I am going to offer you another job. It's in New York. You and your family can stay in the condo I own there. I'd pay you double."
The big man's jaw dropped. His eyes twinked. "Really? God, are you sure?"
I nodded. "Yes, I am sure. My secretary there will guide you. I just think you folks need a new place to live in."
Because this town will be mercilessly burned into ashes...
Derek crossed his arms in front of his chest and cocked his head to the side in thought. "I was already considering it before...This place isn't good for Kennedy but...I worry about Keetan. The court is processing his adoption papers very slowly. I think the mayor is doing it on purpose."
I furrowed my eyebrows. That man must be interested in the wealth that Keetan's parents own. I haven't checked what was inside their back account yet and I doubt I will since what wealth will be left once I erase this town from the map?
I wonder how CNN will cover it?
"Just leave Keetan in my hands. I promise I'll take care of him. I'll just finish my business here and we will follow you there," I assured him.
Of course that was a lie.
Derek was hesitant but he nodded anyway. "Okay...I'll talk first with Samantha. Please take care of him. I already consider him as a son."
I smiled genuinely at that. "Yes...of course. Thank you." Knowing that there were still people like him and his family who appreciated Keetan made me a bit happy.
"Oh yes, please inform Ethan and Edward as well. Talk with their parents that I'm offering the same. They can also call me for reassurance." With or without their approval my servants would drag their asses away from this place.
Derek gave me a thumbs up. "Sure, no problem, I'll tell them just that." With that, Derek jogged away and dodged another one of Samael's beheading disk.
"Oops! Sorry!" Samael laughed. As soon as Derek exited, a head rolled on the floor. It was fortunate that Derek was already out of the site. He wasn't brainwashed so it would be a great trouble if he witnessed Samael's reckless killing.
That was an instant kill...
"#Headshot! And the crowd goes wild! "
The man lied lifelessly on the floor. I summoned a demon to dispose of the body.
Honestly, he was a child unintentionally breaking furniture in the house while he played and he didn't even give a single fuck about it.
And I was one to talk right?
We were all hypocrites in this world anyway.
My eyes followed the flying disk for a minute and I walked out. I'll check my tent and see if Keetan was there. And if Kennedy was there, I'd prepare myself to see a disassembled tent and a panicking red-head. As I approached the tent, I felt a presence inside. When I entered, it wasn't Keetan who greeted me but a woman I least expected.
What was her name again?
Ola?
Olga?
Damn it, I could never memorize the names of worthless pests but I was sure that she was one of the English teachers in school.
"May I help you?" I asked her. She was sitting down on one of the soft cushions of my newly bought sofa. She was in her usual pencil skirt that was shorter than before. Her cleavage bulged from her tight blouse. She looked nervous.
Oh, she was trying to impress me huh?
"Um, I was wondering if we could go grab some dinner tonight."
Should I break my image of being a gentleman and a very respectful educator? I was tempted to do so.
"I'm sorry, I already have my schedule full for the rest of the year," I told her. Well it was actually the rest of eternity with my beloved sweetheart. I had my schedule set. In the morning, I will bring him breakfast in bed. Next, we either spend my late morning working or show him around in my castle. In the afternoon, we will have a walk on the beach or maybe go fly around in the skies. At nighttime, we will eat dinner, watch a movie, play with our pet dragons, take a bath, have sex, and then cuddle. We can also travel in the mortal world if he wished to.
The woman looked at me awkwardly with a slight blush in her face. "It's just dinner though. Are you sure there isn't a day when we can just, you know, go out?"
I grinned while pouring red wine in my glass. My back was facing her as I did so. "I'm a busy man," I simply told her and sipped the bitter sweet liquid from the glass. When I turned around, she had discarded her last garment that was her underwear.
"How bold," I told her amusedly. I find no interest in her body. There was no reaction. She sat on the sofa and then spread her legs in front of me. She bit her long and manicured nail seductively and winked.
"Are you still busy now?" she purred.
I took a sip from my glass again and drank the last drop. "Yes, I still am. Let me break it to you, I'm not interested even if you finger yourself in front of me or stick dildos into every orifice you have."
She frowned. She looked at me with frustration. "You can't possibly ignore a woman who is naked in front of you. I just offered myself!"
"Did I tell you to offer yourself to me? Look, it's your fault for being a complete and oblivious slut. You offered yourself to a Keetansexual man. I will only fuck one person and he is a MAN. Women like you who think that vaginas can manipulate men disgust me." The disbelief in her face was so amusing. The only woman I have grown respect to as of now was Samantha.
She stood angrily and took heavy breaths of dissatisfaction. "I am a woman! I cannot believe this. I thought you were a gentleman! I can't believe you're gay. This is unbelievable! You're disgusting!"
I massaged my forehead in annoyance. "Your belief that women should all be respected is unintelligent. You did this to yourself. You disrespected yourself. Respect shouldn't be given because of what gender you have. Respect is earned and clearly, you didn't earn it. You have no dignity." A dildo materialized in my hand and I threw it to her who immediately caught it in surprise. I cannot believe I just lectured good values to someone. My lecture of course applied to all people. Some men believed that dicks were superior. I should teach good manners and right conduct.
Me, Lucifer, hah!
I turned around and poured wine once more into my glass. I anticipated for her to speak again but I forgot that the dildo would break and explode, consuming her body in fire.
And before she could even utter a sentence, the dildo did just that. I clapped my hands and muted her as she slowly sank down. Her mouth was opened in silent screams. There were bloodied hands pulling her down and I watched in entertainment. The portal in hell closed just in time for Samael to enter. He had a look of seriousness in his expression.
"Lucifer, we have a visitor," he told me.
"Entertain them then," I replied with a bored tone which he returned with a frown.
"What am I, a pole dancer? This is serious. Michael's here." My eyes widened. Anger pulsated in me like an aneurysm. The heat produced by my rage seethed like a kettle.
I knew it.
God would use all resources he can find to take Keetan away from me.
"Where are they?!" I gritted out.
I was going to kill him. It was my time to take my revenge. I will rip off his wings like what he did to his disowned boy. I was going to make him wish that he was never created! How dare he show his face? How dare he interact with Keetan?! Samael teleported both of us to where Keetan and Michael were. It was just near the construction site. There was an old barn where Keetan, Michael, Edward, Cain and Caleb stood in front.
There he was...Michael...
He was wearing mortal clothes; he hid his wings with his magic. Edward looked horrified from the visible hole in Cain's abdomen that was clearly made by Michael whose hand dripped with blood. Cain's wound slowly closed.
Keetan embraced himself. His eyes were unfocused. He looked utterly confused and scared.
"Wh–What...What the fuck is happening?!" Edward questioned in fear. Michael smirked at me, pushing Keetan behind him.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't my Lord's two ex-favorites and the Emperor of all Alpha wolves? I'm outnumbered."
Gabriel and Raphael descended from the heavens, landing perfectly beside him.
"You make angels look like the bad guys," Caleb commented. Edward ran to Keetan and attempted to pull him.
"Keetan, let's go!"
Keetan didn't move from his spot. He seemed to be drowning in his own bewilderment and awe.
"Son, come here," Michael stated, wrapping an arm around Keetan's shoulder.
I growled at him. "He is no longer your son! You disowned him!"
Michael sighed. "We can all repent for our sins. You do forgive me, right Keetan?" He asked.
How can an angel be so fake? Your holy beings contradicted your teachings, God.
Keetan looked at him and then at me. He was so lost. "I...I don't...I don't know...I don't remember anything."
I opened my arms to him. "You don't have to remember Keetan. Come to me."
Gabriel put a hand on Keetan's chest, further enraging me. "And make him sin again? Don't you have mercy on the child? It was your fault that he got kicked out of heaven and now you are doing it again. Shame on you Lucifer."
Keetan's eyes widened. He gaped at me in shock.
Samael stepped forward. "No, shame the fuck on you! Where were you when he needed someone? What kind of father are you? You don't fucking deserve the title!" He pointed at Michael.
Michael scoffed. "It is a mere test to see if he is fit to be an angel of God. I requested for Miniel to be reincarnated so that he would be given another chance but alas, Lucifer rose and poisoned him once more. I am here to save my son from your wretched being."
My horns ripped out from my head. Edward cussed, falling back down. My patience had snapped. I could no longer hear the bullshit that this man had to say. "He is not your son!" I growled.
Keetan's eyes got bigger and Michael stroke his head. "There, there, look at what you did. You are making him uncomfortable."
"Mister...Wall?" Keetan gasped as he trembled. Was he scared of me?
So he really was going to be afraid of my true appearance.
"It's okay to be scared, Keetan. Mister Wall...is a monster. Mister Wall is Satan. You have been tricked. You have been fooled and now it's time for me to end him for you. We can finally be a family son. Your mother, your brothers and sisters can't wait to see you."
"You have been fucking hard huh? God allowed you to be this horny?" Samael sneered.
"Silence Samael!" Raphael shouted.
"No, you shut up you fucking hypocrite!" Samael snarled. I grabbed Samael's shoulders.
"It's time."
Samael nodded. "The fuck it is! I've been waiting for too damn long!" He cheered and disappeared into thin air. Raphael snarled and flew in hopes of finding where the reaper was.
"Boss?" Cain asked.
"Order the demons to surround every opening in this town."
Cain bowed respectfully and left like Samael.
"You're really going through with this?" Gabriel asked with a frown. I didn't answer him. I let my true form conquer and Michael transformed with me.
I won't let them have Keetan. I have suffered for too long without him. I cannot live anymore if I was to lose him.
My heart won't take it.
The mere thought cracked my heart...
And if it were to happen...I would really be the heartless devil that everyone described me to be.
"Do you see how hideous he is, son?" He asked. Keetan didn't know how to respond. It would seem that everything for him was too much to bear. "Do you see how much of a monster he is?"
I couldn't look at his expression, instead, I closed my eyes and kneeled in front of him.
"It is true Keetan. I am a monster. I am Satan. But...I have become like this because of you. I have become a monster because of my love for you and if I were to die this day because of your sake...I will close my eyes happily because I got to be with you for one last time..."
I opened my eyes just in time to catch a glimpse of a tear falling to the grass. I didn't look up. "I am Lucifer, I was an archangel and the right hand of God. I swore my allegiance to him but I chose you over Him. I have fallen because of you and I regret nothing for you are my everything."
I will kill for you...
I will die for you...
I will sacrifice all things for you...
I will go against everything even if it was God Himself.
I don't need God's heaven because you are all the heaven I need.
I am a fallen angel and I have fallen because of you.
