She stood numb at the coffin of her best friend and flinched when her husband rested a hand on her shoulder.

"Had to be done," he whispered. "Remember the bigger picture, Kizin."

Struggling to hold back the grief, tears flowed steadily, silently, down her immobile face.

She was feeling bruised inside, numbness, emptiness, walking behind mahogany coffin, saying goodbye although he was gone already.

The soul unwilling to acknowledge the finality of death, never looked upon their face again or felt their embrace, saw the warmth in their eyes, be surrounded by their love.

Words from the families, speeches at the service brought a fresh onslaught of tears, well spoken words, a tribute to their life and loved ones.

Everyone in black, dusky pink roses on the casket, watching casket lowered into the grave through tear-strained eyes.

Kizin's gaze fell upon the little girl who was only 10 years old and unaffected by death.

A little innocent light with so much joy. But that would soon change and Kizin hated the feeling of it.

"Mom, why are they burying oppa? He can't get banana milkshake in the ground! Stop!" The little girl screamed.

The people who weren't already crying allowed tears to drip down their faces. "Stop it!" She was screaming, tears streaming down her face.

Unexpectedly, Kizin bent down to hug the little girl. "Ji-eun, he's going to sleep." Kizin whispered, "Don't be so loud or you'll wake him."

Ji-eun cuddled Kizin whilst wailing. Kizin stroked her hair and her back lovingly.

That just overpowered all the guilt Kizin was going through.

Kizin started crying loudly causing a chain reaction in the small group.

Soon everyone who loved the burried were sobbing uncontrollably.

She walked up to the makeshift stage and began her little speech, "Jungkook was kind and didn't hesitate to help someone in need. His helpful spirit got him in trouble a few times but I don't think he ever regretted it. I... "
Kizin  paused clearing her throat from the tears, "We were best friends since kindergarten. He was my only friend, the only person who stood by me through thick and thin. I won't ever let him out of my heart, he will stay in here. Rest in peace, Jungkook."

She placed her hand on her heart, tears were soaking the clothes she was wearing.

"Don't cry! Kookie is just asleep," Ji-eun said trying to make Kizin happier. Giving back a sad smile and nod, she walked off the stage.

Slowly his coffin got lowered into the hole. The closest relatives took turns with the spade, covering him inch by inch with dirt.

"Good-bye, my friend!" Kizin mourned, closing her eyes.

"Kizin, my love, you did the right thing. Come-on, it's time to leave." She heard her husband's voice.

The ride back home was silent. Kizin was driving while her husband sat on the passenger seat. He held her free hand, her tender fingers in his own, locked together. "I love you, Zinnie. I am proud of you," He whispered.

She was upset about what had happened to Jungkook, even though she was with the man she had loved for a long time. "Jin, I love you too!" She replied in a low voice.

Jin caught the guilt in her voice and didn't intend to make her cry her anymore. They entered their house and Kizin walked straight up to her bedroom. Jin sighed, slowly walking behind her.

"Jin, am I a good friend?" Kizin asked with a scoff.

"Zin, stop it," Jin snapped out, "Stop trying to make me mad at you, or make me say something to hurt you."

"I'm not, I'm trying to make you tell me the truth," Kizin said in an almost pained voice.

"You want the truth?" Jin asked as he cocked her head, "The truth is, you are hurting right now, and you think that you're to blame because of it." Jin harshly replied, "But I'll be the first one to tell you that you weren't at fault, baby. You're the nicest person I've ever fucking known." He paused before speaking again, "Jungkook made a mistake and you punished him for doing so. That's it."

Kizin let her eyes close and brought her hand up to them, rubbing them slowly, "Jin, I'm sorry."
