Finally, It was spring break and Hunt 's parents were going out of town and he said he didn't want to be in his house by himself .

"You could stay at my house" I offered but just in case I pulled out my phone and texted my mom.

Me: quick question one of my friends parents are going away and doesn't want to be by himself . Can he stay at our house? Please? Please? Please, please!!

Mom: which friend?

Me: Mom! You're embarrassing me Just answer, is it okay or not?!

Mom: of course . I would like to meet my son's boyfriend ❤️!

My face blushed as I replied back the word "boyfriend " repeating in my head.

Me: Mom! He's not my boyfriend he's just a friend..for now...

I look back to Hunt and smile "my mom said it was cool if you stay with us"
