Chapter Two

*The first couple of chapters will have parts of the past and the present. Then we will jump to the future. Also this doesn't have anything to do with the NSL incident since I guess that some of you are sick of it...maybe.

After spending some time on the forest floor, Luan slowly started to get up while her body started to protest her doing so. As she started to walk...the pain was intense and she could hardly see, but she needed to keep going. Her sisters were dead and the only family that she had left was her brother and little sister. The rest were dead to her and she wanted to make them pay for what they've done.

But right now...she needed to find some help. As she kept walking..she remembered the days before this all happened and how everything fell apart or her and her siblings starting the day after Lincoln and Lily were taken.

1 MONTH 26 DAYS EARLIER

Luan was busy doing homework in the living room while her siblings and parents were out. It's been a challenging experience when Lincoln and Lily were taken from them. Especially since every single person besides herself, Lori and Lynn blamed the three for their blight. Sighing...Luan wondered if her family would ever forgive them for what they've done. Which is impossible considering her family wouldn't give any of them a chance. When she was finished..she heard shouting coming outside and saw her little sister yelling at her mother before she rushed inside the house.

"Mom...What's going on?" Luan asked.

"Lynn managed to win her soccer game, but almost crippled the midfielder. Not to mention that her teammates managed to crap themselves on the field." Rita Said making Luan turn green. Lynn's rituals helped her on the field, but some are just plain gross like her no number two before a game.

"Now the team has been banned from the stadium. And as we were walking away, most of the people there gave us the stink eye. Not like I can blame them considering how ridiculous these rituals really were." Leni Said.

"You're telling me. We should have talked to her about these good luck rituals before this happened. Because if we didn't then she may blame someone for costing her softball games and make us do something drastic." Rita Said.

"Now if you excuse us...we really need to go lay down and forget that this ever happened." Rita Said as everyone except for her started to wonder off. Meanwhile Luan walked upstairs and knocked on Lynn's door.

"Go Away." Lynn Said.

"No." Luan said.

"Why? I'm just a big joke anyway." Lynn Said.

"You're not a joke Lynn. Sure...you made a massive mistake, but that doesn't mean that anyone thinks any less of you." Luan said.

"Well they do..I embarrassed my team and forced those rituals on them. I should have focused my energy on something more practical than my silly superstitions." Lynn Said.

"Hey.  You can always rise above this. You're Lynn Loud Jr. The best althete that I ever seen. Would she give up if she had a bad day?" Luan said.

"No. She wouldn't. She would try to battle this instead of whining like a sore loser." Lynn Said.

"That's the spirit. Now let's watch some TV Lynn. Hopefully that will distract you from this." Luan said.

"Thanks Luan. You really know how to make any day better." Lynn Said.

"I know. Now let's see what's on..." Luan Said as the two went downstairs. As the two continued to watch TV...they had no idea that their time together will be cut short by the hands of their family.

PRESENT

After she remembered the little moment with Lynn, Luan's legs started to feel like lead and she sat down under a tree. As she gazed up at the sky...she hoped that she would figure out how to avenge her sisters. Sisters..whose bodies are down at the lake and would probably never be found again. As she thought about the heartbreak that their friends would suffer through because of their family's betrayal...Luan could feel tears coming down her cheeks.

Lori would never get to marry Bobby, have a family or go to college. She may have been bossy, but she always helped her siblings with things no matter how annoyed she would feel doing them. And Lynn...Lynn will never be able to experience high school, have a boyfriend or even become an adult.

She hated her family...except for Lincoln and Lily. They ruined everything for her sisters and destroyed their futures. She can't become a comedian...not when her family would recognize her and try to finish the job. And she couldn't have that especially since they all needed to pay for what they've done.

Meanwhile...An eleven year old boy was walking back to his adopted family's face before he looked at the night sky. He felt like something was terribly wrong with his old family and hoped that it was just his imagination. However...his heart seems to be telling him that he lost people important to him...but before he could think about it some more...the boy knew that he had to keep moving towards his new home. Unaware that he would encounter a sister that he thought was long dead in the future.
