She followed the scent of his fresh blood from the bite she gave him. It lead her directly to him. The criminal was bandaging the gash in his arm, leaning against a tree. His ax was beside him, but it wouldn't be able to do him any good now. He heard a twig snap and whipped his head around to see a pair of big, menacing, glowing eyes that were fixed on him from the shadows. This thing was almost as tall as a bear. It let out a low growl, creeping closer to him.The woodsman went wide eyed. Petrified, he scrambled for his ax, triggering the beast to attack. The wolf's growl turned into a snarl, lunging at him with full force. She pinned him to the ground with her massive claws that dug into his shoulders and caused him to writhe in pain. The man screamed just before the wolf exterminated him.
