You and Georgette walk in the nightclub. This nightclub was called, "California Night Club."

The setting was exotic, beautiful. You and Georgette grabs a seat in the back.

"I'm so glad I got out the house for once." You sigh in relief 

"I'm glad too." Georgette chuckles 

*Time Skip*

"I'm going to the bathroom." Georgette says, getting up from her chair 

"Alright," You cross your legs 

You felt as if you were being stared at. Your eyes were taking a look at the nightclub, admiring the looks of it. As you were looking around, your eyes caught something. Well, it wasn't something. It was someone. An gentleman was standing in front of you. Your eyes look up at the man, seeing his face. 

"Hey there," The man says, giving you a dazzling smile 

This gentleman standing in front of you was actually very attractive.

"Hello." You smile

"Can I sit here?" The man asks you

You look around before answering.

"Yeah." You nod your head

This good-looking man sits across from you. You gulp, not believing he was across from you. It felt like you weren't breathing. You were inhaling the positivity  he gave you. The mysterious man's eyes burned with enthusiasm. As if he was seeking to talk more to you. His body language showed his seducing flirting. 

*Time Skip* 

You and the mysterious man talked for 20 minutes or so. Still, you didn't know his name...

"What's your name?" You ask this charming gentleman 

"Calvin." He answers, as a corner of his mouth lifts up 

"Hey Calvin. My name is (Y/N)." You shake hands with Calvin 

When you shook hands with Calvin, his hands gripped tight. His hands were so strong, but you didn't mind that. 

Your eyes took a glimpse at the stage. A pretty lady was walking up to the stage. She was wearing this long, silver gown. She also were wearing a silver crown.

"Dorothy Dandridge take the stage!" The host yells

Dorothy's hand cling onto the microphone. She closes her eyes, beginning to sing...

You took a glance over at Calvin, seeing him bobbing his head slowly. You turn your head back, having all your attention on this beautiful singer. Dorothy's voice was gold.

*Time Skip*

You were wanting to cry because of how beautiful the song was. This song had you thinking on what love is...

"A round of applause for Dorothy Dandridge!" The host yells, shaking hands with Dorothy 

You applaud Dorothy for her outstanding performance, so as Calvin. 

You were choked on what to say. It felt as if the lyrics spoke to you. Leaving you speechless, able to think. All you were able to do is think about your past relationship. You chewed on your bottom lip, preventing you from crying. 

"You okay?" Calvin asks, noticing tears filling your eyes 

"Ooh, I'm okay." You say, forming a fake smile on your face 

Calvin's sizable brown-colored orbs blazed with the words worry. 

"Why you looking at me like that?" You giggle, trying to laugh to keep from crying 

"You're not okay." Calvin says as seriousness travels in his voice 

"Calvin, I'm totally fine. Seriously." You laugh off what he was saying

Calvin puts his hand on tops of yours. 

"Are you really alright?"

The more he asked, the more you were wanting to bawl out crying. 

You didn't know what to say at this point of time. You could see Calvin wasn't joking.

"Calvin I'm good," You kept saying, even though your eyes were saying something else. 

Calvin lays back in his chair, taking a short sigh.

"I'm so sorry for this shit." You took your hand away from his, feeling shook all at the same time 

"What's wrong?" Calvin cocks his eyebrow, looking interested

"It was just the song.." You finally spoke on what really been bugging you these last couple of minutes

*Time Skip* 

You and Calvin has been talking to hours. Calvin seems like he related to you. Your phone vibrates, causing you to pick it up. It was a message from Georgette saying, "Sorry, I've left to my boyfriend's house. He needs me for something."

You text back saying, "It's all cool. Honestly, I forgot all about you. Got to go though, bye!"

"Sorry for that." You say, turning off your phone 

"It's alright." Calvin says

Calvin's voice was calm as he spoke to you. He was like a comforter. You just met this guy tonight, and he's already making you better. His hilarious jokes caused you to laugh. You were forgetting about what you were crying about. 

You had yourself a few glasses of alcohol. Calvin wasn't going to drink tonight..

"Why not have a glass of henny Cal?" You ask, holding up your glass 

"I'm not going to drink." Calvin scratches the back of his neck 

"Ooh, that's fine." You take a sip, laying the glass down afterwards 

*Time Skip*

"I think it's time for me to go." You say, getting up from the seat 

"It was really nice meeting you (Y/N)." Calvin says, his mouth curving into an attracting smile 

"It was nice meeting you too Calvin. I hope we can meet again soon." You beamed 

You and Calvin shook hands.

"Bye Calvin."

"Bye (Y/N)." Calvin says soft as a whisper

You leave the nightclub, with a smile not leaving your lips. That long conversation you had with Calvin was breath-taking. His eyes were examining your soul. Finding darkness surrounding your spirit. His massive brown-colored orbs were locked with your (E/C) orbs. 

You were hoping to see Calvin again, soon...
