After getting ready I went downstairs and I saw many were invited to this party, everyone was looking elegant, I think they all came from rich families. Women were in beautiful gowns and men in suits. The wine glass was in their hands, some were laughing, some were dancing with their partner.

 Then I saw a man who was surrounded by some women and guess what, it was him.

 Girls were like touching him whenever they get the chance. When his eyes finally land on me he left all those girls and stood infront of everyone.

"Hey DJ turn off the music, I have something to announce and for that, I am asking for your attention.

ok, people listen up. You must be thinking about what might be the reason for this party! 

wellllll...this party is about achieving something, something that I have waited for long 6 months. I had to give my freedom, my lifestyle, had to tolerate those which were not my cup of tea.

 But guys, everyone knows that Lucas Manhattan never learn to lose and this time I proved it again. After 6 whole months, I finally get my freedom back, and guess what no one can stop me now, no one means no one. 

Then he looks at me but with a hatred look "don't you want to know about my achievement? soooooo... today I have become the sole owner of the Manhattan empire, isn't that fantastic news! "

what, what is he saying? how is it even possible!

 Everyone gasped and stared at him with shocked eyes."ya ya I know it's too shocking, dad didn't even give an official statement but I have found a way in which way dad cannot the fact and has lost his right to say about anything. Then he gave me a smirk and take my hand in front of everyone "you know all thanks to this girl because I have achieved the power way before the actual time. You must be thinking who this girl might be.' don't tell me it's your girlfriend Lucas one girl asked him who was wearing a see-through gown, how can a woman dress like this infront of everyone, he looked at him as if she is going to jump at him in any time

uuhhhm, nahhh, did you even look at her! she is not even worth to be my maid, even my help is better looking than her and you know my taste babe, don't you? he got close to her and run his finger through her thigh, the girl blushed and hang her hands onto his neck "I know it better, you dont have to tell me twice" she was about to kiss him, then he stops her "hold on babe, not now let me celebrate it first, then you know we will do our own celebration, you know what I mean" he left her and come close to me again "ok, let's back to the point, she is not my girlfriend, not my mistress, she is actually more than that, actually she is my wife."

I can't imagine what just happened! did he just declared me as his wife? Is he finally admitting our relationship in front of everyone! I thought there was still some hope are left but the next he said it totally broke me

"oops sorry my wife of six months, today I am going to be a bachelor again, though there was no difference after marriage. I was still living a single life, having blast with chicks, partying. This marriage was just a show for my dad and to show some fool people that I am changing, I mean can you believe it Lucas Manhattan changing his way because of some fool, how rubbish"

Everyone starts laughing at me and me...I was staring at him, standing in the place like a statue, I just lost my words, even my tears refused to form, I stood there and do nothing.

 I wanted to do something but...but I didn't know what to say! But I knew, I had to ask him, he has to give me some answers.

 So after gathering some courage I dare to ask him "what did you just say, 6 months! what 6 months? you are ...you are lying right, you are doing this to hurt me more right, tell me, tell me to damn it!'

"I know I have been lying to you all this time but today will be your last day here, so I have decided to tell you the truth, and the truth is it was a deal between me and dad. If I get married to you and able to live with you for 5 months then I will become the sole owner of the whole Manhattan empire and if I find no interest in you even after living with you for 6 months or if you fail to prove me that you are worthy of becoming Mrs. Manhattan then I will easily divorce you and no one will stop me, not even dad."

I stumble back from him, my ears couldn't believe his words.

Tell me you are lying, please Lucas don't do this to me. Dad can never do this, he will never support you, why are blaming your own dad!"

"I knew it would be interesting that's why I want you to listen carefully then I think you will believe my words" then he took out his phone from his pocket and play something. At first, I heard his voice and then dad, I realize it was some recorder in his phone

"I am ready to marry her but at first I have some conditions. ' 'huh, what do you think! do you think I will listen to your bullshit?' 'dad at least listen to me. It's not bullshit, I just want to know her better, wants to court her before marriage. 

But if we find that we are not compatible then we have to finish whatever we have at the end.

If you agree then I am ready to marry her other than I am sorry and if you force me too much then I will run far away from you dad and I know you will not like it'

"ok, I will give you time. Even I have something for you, if you get married to her and it stays about 6 months then I will make you the owner of the whole empire" "but dad, even  if after 6 months I fail to be in love and get a divorce with her then you will not back out from giving me the whole empire." "Done. But, you have to try. If Farha thinks to give you chance and say yes then the marriage will never happen and you will not get what I have said, I will never pressure her for anything" "ok dad, if any divorce happens in the future, promise me, you will not back down.  You have to keep your promise and for that, I need your sign in this paper and dont worry you can read if you want" " I am a businessman Lucas I will read it properly and don't worry I believe in Farha, she will make you fall in love with her, she is an angel even devil sometimes cannot escape from falling in love with an angel. I know it from my experience and I know you will definitely fall in love with her and then you will ask me to rip this deal between us. I know she has the power to do that. That's why I am making this deal so that you can find your way back through her and I want best for my son"

Are you done! here is your proof and here is the divorce paper. I am feeling sorry for dad that as a businessman he fails to predict the future of our deal, he lost for the first time. I mean it's been 6 months but what a poor woman you are! your anything was not able to impress me! Now you are free and get out from here so that the other can enjoy the party. c'mon sign it quick, I have wasted enough time for you.

My world collapsed after hearing the recording. I was a deal between two businessmen, one was trying to settle his son with a girl like me and another was obsessed to get the whole empire and ruining my life. One who always told me I am his daughter but he proved his own child is after all comes first not the consider one. He knew how his son was still he makes the deal with his son so that he can see his son be settled with a simple and wife material girl like me. All are the same, they all are the same. All businessmen are disgusting, manipulating, liar. They just how to make a deal without considering the other person's life.

My body refused to do anything, I look at that person who has no remorse in his eyes, no guiltiness, nothing. 

Then that girl came close to him and started to kiss him and he kisses her back with the same force." Babe I knew you were a player but didn't know you are an actor also, you even fooled your own dad, I am impressed' "babe there is nothing that Lucas cannot do"  another man came beside him and said "dude, that was damn, now tell me did you bedded her, how was it man?" "uuh it was ok, nothing special, after all, she was an inexperience and I want an experienced one" "ok, now when you are done with her then how about give her to me, I want to taste her too, she isn't bad at all, what say, babe?' With that he left me with another man, I saw that disgusting man coming towards me.

 I know I have to save myself, I have to run, so I run, I began to run
with all my energy, I ran and ran and ran.

 I don't know where! The more I run the more his words echoed in my ears "bitch' 'slut' 'trash' 'wife of 6 months' 'deal' 'do whatever you want now when I am done with her" I didn't know where I was going suddenly a car came and about to hit me at that moment I blackout.

I woke up and my head was throbbing from pain. I look my surroundings and I found myself in the hospital. I dont remember how I came here, when I tried then all of those memories came into my eyes. He used me, abuse me, lie to me for months after months. Then I saw someone whom I never expected to see.

'Farha, thank God you are ok. What were you doing in the street in fact why were running like a madwoman? Thank god it was my car and I bought you in here. Now tell me."

'huh? you all are a great actor, you all businessmen are the same. After all, those brutal things that happen to me by all of you rich people you expect me to believe in your filthy lie and so-called care!"

"Farha, I really don't know what are you talking about? wait a minute, have Lucas done something to you? please Farha tell me, I know he is  planning something against you but I really don't know what are you talking about!"

"you are his best friend and you don't know his cruelty! You want me to believe this? So listen, your friend raped me, abused me, insult my love, ruined my dignity, ruined my life, he even wants to trade my body with someone else. 

He made our marriage into a joke. It was a father and son's deal to ruin my life and they succeed, they succeed to destroy me.

no no no, Farha, how can he become so blind because of his so called ego! I told him to leave you, he has done enough when he told me that you get to know about his real face. I even told him that if he does not stop his madness then I will not also help him and he can forget that he has a friend. I thought he has considered my words but I didn't know he can be this cruel.

"you didn't know? how is it possible! I thought you all are with him"

Believe me, Farha, after our talk I didn't even meet him for 5 months! I got busy with my project. Last night he calles me to invite me to a party when I asked him what was the reason, he didn't tell me, he said that it will be a surprise.

I told him everything that actually happened in that house, how he treated me, how raped me how he insulted me, everything.

After that Adam just punched the wall, his knuckles were covered with blood which made me scream "Adam what are you doing, are you crazy?" "I am sorry Farha, it was actually my idea to play with you. I thought you are a gold digger just like Lucas said and he will just make your life miserable by insulting you or something, but when I saw you at the wedding I realize how wrong he was about you! 

You are really a down to earth person, how could he do that to you! Even uncle Mason made deal with him.

But I am sure uncle didn't know about his intention  and trust me when he will get to know he will definitely show him his real place."

I was about to refuse him to call those people when I saw a doctor came into the room "Mr. Bateman you should have informed me that she is awake.

Anyway, I saw your report and I suggest that you should take care of yourself in this state when another life is growing within you"

'another life? doctor, what are you talking about!" I was confused by his statement

"you don't know! congratulations, you are two weeks pregnant.
