Chapter 1
My name is Aya and I have never experienced love. Probably because I'm really shy when it comes to other people. I mean I have my older sister Anna who just graduated from high school. And now I'm entering high school as a freshman. The one thing my sister warned me about was to stay away from Phaie.
She didn't really give me a reason as to why I needed to stay away from her but she didn't have to worry I mean she knows I'm extremely shy when it comes to other people. But still, I'm kinda hoping to change and actually try to make friends this year.
Maybe high school wouldn't be so bad.
Upon entering the school I was nervous. It was huge, my palms where sweating and I was afraid I was going to get lost. I never really went to the same school my sister did, my last school was a small one where my mom thought I wouldn't get lost to easily.
Jokes on her because I did end up getting lost.
Looking at my classroom I noticed that I had English first. English huh? Not a bad start but which class is it? I suddenly bump into someone making me jerk back quickly as I apologized without looking up.
"IM SORRY!" Running off I let out a puff of air as I begin to read the signs.
Feeling irritated I just walk into a classroom and sit down in the very back row near the window practically praying this was the right class.
As the class started I begin to get drowsy not really paying attention until I heard the classroom door open and close.
"Phaie your late. And on the first day to!" The teacher scolded.
Phaie? Wasn't that the person my sister told me to stay away from?
Not really paying attention I stare out the window when I suddenly felt a small poke to my arm making me look over only to see a beautiful girl with long blonde hair and purple eyes.
"Your in my seat."
"Huh?"
"You don't look like you belong here at all. Could I see your schedule?"
I couldn't speak. I was to nervous to.
"Phaie could you please sit down so that I could begin the math lesson."the teacher suddenly spoke making me grow pale as I quickly stood up.
Everyone's eyes where on me as I suddenly ran out the classroom with a panicked look on my face.
Fuck, fuck, fuck! It was the wrong classroom! God damn it! Where am I even going?
Leaning up against the wall I begin to loose all hope until I decided to just give up and return to the office. Upon telling the desk people what happen a lot of them laughed as they hit the page button.
"Could Phaie Green please report to the office, thank you."
"Did you say Phaie?" Again with that name I know my sister told me to keep away from her but as it seems I can't seem to rid of her.
I waited gloomly as I saw the familiar blonde girl from before enter the office with a bored look.
"You summoned me?"
Her eyes suddenly landed on me and she smirked.
"This girl seems to be lost do you think you can help her?" Phaie nodded her head as she walked towards me while holding out her hand.
"So what class do I need to lead you to?"
I didn't say anything as I handed her my schedule making her look at it.
"I see. No wonder your lost your the wrong hall. You where not meant to take the stairs since your still just a freshman."
So I passed it? God I feel so stupid!
I begin to follow Phaie at a safe distance trying hard not to make eye contact.
"You know your actually the reason I was late. Pretty funny how we ran into each other three times now. It must be fate!"
I didn't say anything. This was the girl my sister warned me about.
"You know you should really give me something for helping you out like this."
She suddenly stopped as she turned around and got into my personal space. Something in her eyes changed making my heart pound as she cupped my cheek gently. Looking away from her as to try and not get entranced by her good looks she once again forced me to look at her making me bite my bottom lip.
What was she doing?
I could feel her thumb touch my lips as she spoke sternly.
"Don't. Only I can bite your lips."
My cheeks where completely flushed as she leaned in closely only to be stopped by an unfamiliar voice.
"PHAIE! Quit targeting the poor freshman! Look at her she's practically shaking!"
Looking over I see a girl with long black hair and light grey eyes. She removed Phaie from me making me sigh heavily as I weakly slid down onto the floor.
So this was why my sister didn't want me near this Phaie girl.
"Oh come on Blake it's just harmless fun! And besides I'm helping this girl find her English class. If you ask me I deserve a little thanks! Besides she's pretty cute if you ask me."
Crap. Now Phaie has her eyes on me. This was bad. I needed to stay away from her.
"Hey. You look familiar, what's your name again?"
Blake suddenly got to my eye level as I nervously looked away trying very hard to tell her my name only to fail. Instead I just handed her my schedule.
"Aya Mae. Hang on. You wouldn't happen to be Anna Mae's little sister would you?"
I couldn't help but blush as I nodded my head shyly.
"OMG your so adorable! Whenever I came over to your house you where always locked up in your room! Your sister told me you where really shy but it's good to finally meet you! I was a friend of your sisters!"
"Wait. She's Anna's sister? No wonder she tried avoiding me." Phaie said as she crossed her arms with a small pout.
"Don't mind Phaie I won't let her lay a finger on you. Come on I'll take you to your classroom. Phaie you can go back to your class.
"Now hang on a minute! It was my job to take her to her class so I'll be the one doing it!" Phaie looked determined as I stayed hidden behind Blake trying hard not to make eye contact.
Her and Blake started arguing as Blake led me to my classroom as Blake knocked at the door my teacher opened it looking surprised until she saw me.
"Oh! You must be Aya right? I was wondering if you had gotten lost. Please come in your desk is just at that back corner near the window."
Glancing up at Blake I shyly thanked her for her help.
"T-Thank you."
"No problem. If there is anything you need here's my number."She handed me a piece of paper making me smile.
"Well I might as well give her mine to." Phaie also gave me a piece of paper with her number on it but this would more then likely be are last encounter.
As soon as I sat down our teacher cleared her throat as she spoke.
"Right. So anyway as I was saying English is a pretty easy class so today I'll let you guys have a free period. You can hang out and talk to whoever you want until the bell rings."
Welp. Looks like I'm going back to sleep. Or so I thought. I suddenly found myself surrounded by both guys and girls from my class as they asked me questions about Phaie.
"Hey she gave you her number right! You should give it to me!"
"Uh..." I didn't know what to do or say! How was I supposed to answer there questions.
"I-I'm sorry. I only just met Phaie today so I can't really answer any of your questions." I spoke quietly.
"Then what about sharing her number?!"
A girl suddenly asked me.
"I-I don't think it's appropriate for me to give out her number without asking first. And besides I'll never contact Phaie. She scares me." I didn't mean to say that last part out loud but I did.
"Why? I mean Phaie is really kind! And beautiful and wonderful! She's sexy to!"
A guy suddenly blurted as I shrugged.
"I don't know she just- I have no excuse."
"Then all you have to do is get to know her is all!" The guys that where near my desk left and soon it was mostly girls that surrounded me. Is this going to be my high school life now? I mean I like being by myself and being around this many people is a bit...
Nerve wracking.
