[A/N]: I AM SOOOO SORRY TO HAVE BEEN GONE FOR SO LONGGGG. Work has been kicking my ass and then I was on vacation ahhhh. But I'm back now!! Let's get this thing rolling!!

E r o s

I've gotta show you something.

I wish I'd never looked.

You may not like it but it's real, and we need to something about this. Now.

As I continued to read the list in my hand over and over, it wasn't sitting with right with me that this was some kind of random paper that appeared out of nowhere, deciding the fates of those on it.

I wanted to crumble it up and throw it away when I first saw it, pass it off as the death threat that everyone in this place gets someday, but I had to be smarter than that.

As I tried to keep myself calm, I continued to wonder what the end goal of this was. What do these people gain from killing? They're not asking for anything, not a cent, instead they're just taking lives. Dominance assertion? Maybe it's some new group rising and trying to make something of themselves...but there's not even some kind of claim left behind.

They're just a ghost in the wind...

"What are you thinking about there Sherlock?" Silver asked suddenly, my thought train crashing immediately.

"When did the times of the deaths occur?" I asked and taken aback by my question, Silver gave me a face.

"What?" He said plainly and I sighed.

"Just answer me" I said.

Folding his arms, Silver made a thinking face before speaking.

"Well, I'm not an ME or anything but the reports I've gotten back usually relay that the blood is pretty much dried by the time their bodies are found so I'm gonna say a time frame of dead midnight and the early A.M." Silver said but he paused before sliding one of the papers towards me.

"This guy though, he was killed in the afternoon. I found him while he was still relatively warm" He said.

"Hm..." letting the cogs in my brain turn, I processed this information as best as I could, hoping to pick it apart and find something meaningful.

"A slight change isn't that big of a deal when there's a pattern. It's possible they weren't able to get him alone when they wanted" Silver reasoned and I nodded.

"But it makes you wonder why, doesn't it?" I asked and Silver pursed his lips.

"Okay Sherlock, we've managed to eliminate time. As for the location, most have been in generally secluded areas" he said.

"And by that you mean?" I said with a raised brow.

"For example; an empty church. Nothing like murder on a Sunday, y'know?" He said and I motioned my hand for him to move on.

"Continue"

"Uh, bathrooms, cars, and a swimming pool" Silver listed the places off on his fingers and I tapped the paper he had pushed in front of me.

"Where was his?" I asked.

"In...his home" Silver let out a short sigh after saying his answer.

"Maybe it's someone he knew?" I said and Silver seemed to open his mouth to reply when it closed shut at the sound of my phone going off.

"Hold on" I muttered as I fished the annoying device out of my pocket and picked it up.

I was immediately hit with the scolding tone of Harvey's voice.

"Dude, where are you? The play starts in like 2 hours, there's not gonna be any seats for you with how long this line is" Harvey said and my eyes widened as I checked the date on the calendar that hung in Silver's office.

Cole's play.

"That's today?" I muttered rhetorically but obviously Harvey didn't get the memo.

"Yeah so hurry up and get your ass down here" he said before hanging up.

"Fuck..." I sighed and Silver looked to me with a nonchalant face.

"Something come up?" He asked and I nodded,

"Yes, a very crucial matter. We'll pick this up later" I said as I stood up and Silver shrugged.

"Okay, I guess Watson will continue brainstorming without Sherlock" he said sarcastically and I just waved him off before leaving the office.

The only way I knew I was going to make it on time is if I were to speed a bit through the streets, thankfully it isn't rush hour so I didn't have to worry about any sudden cars trying to cut me off on the freeway.

Once I finally arrived, I parked my car and briskly walked to the venue sight. It wasn't hard to find with all the buzz and people crowded into one space.

As I looked amongst the crowd for my friends, a hand grabbed my arm and I was turned to face Harvey who was looking at me like I was insane. Jamie and Mikhail also stood behind him but in very strange getups...as if trying to disguise themselves.

"You came like this?!" Harvey exclaimed and I looked down at my suit, not really seeing a problem with it before looking back up to Harvey.

"What?" I asked.

"Anyone with working eyes can tell you're not here for a play!! You look like the men in black man, what if one of those guys are watching us? We can't have them ruining the play" Harvey scolded and I frowned.

"Is that why you guys are dressed like broke leprechauns?" I asked and Harvey just frowned.

"You're not staying like this" Harvey said and before I knew it I was being dragged off to a random restroom.

"Harvey, I'm not wearing this. This will make me look like a cereal mascot" I argued as I pointed to the ridiculous clothing he had placed into my hands.

"Just put the damn clothes on!!" Harvey yelled before shoving me in the bathroom stall.

He's a dead man...

After much trial and tribulation, I can now say that I've been demoralized and would desperately like to be laid six feet under any minute now.

Upon arriving back to them, Jamie and Mikhail tried their best to keep their laughter in but it was close to impossible with what I was wearing.

No, I will not go into detail.

"If we look like broke leprechauns, then you must be the satyr with no bitches" Mikhail said and Jamie continued to clench his stomach as his laughter went on.

This fucking blows.

"Oh, look! It's Cole!" Harvey said and my neck must have done a 180° as I looked for my lover.

~ bear with me for the change of pov ty ~

All of the men turned to see Cole dressed in the attire of a knight, his faux sword hanging from his hip as he stood with a straight form and stern face. It was a normal look for him but to anyone else, they would think he was extremely into his role.

With a serious face, Eros raised up his phone and began clicking the 'capture' button as many times as his finger could, all the while never taking his eyes off of him.

Over on the side, Jamie and Mikhail watched their friend as he took enough pictures to take up all the space on his cellular device.

"He's just so cute, I want to squeeze the life out of him until he can't breathe" Eros said as he held up his phone and continued to take photos of Cole in his outfit, his face unchanging.

He was clearly unbothered by the various stares he was getting due to his "disguise" that made him stick out like a sore thumb. Harvey's bad fashion sense only got worse when it came to trying to be on the down low yet Eros still decided to just go with it...

"It's a bit troubling that the longer those two are together, the dumber Eros gets. I'm kinda embarrassed to call this man my boss" Mikhail said with a sigh and Jamie let out a nervous chuckle.

He wasn't wrong.

"Alright paparazzi, let's go find a seat" Mikhail said with a sigh as he dragged Eros away.

Once managing to get in their seats, the group settled in as the lights dimmed. The play began and everyone watched as the story went on, unknowing of the outsiders who too, were watching the events unfold.

When Cole finally walked out onto the stage, Jamie shook Harvey who had began to play some kind of video game on his phone. The man who only came to support his best friend all but turned the phone off and began clapping really loud to which members of the audience looked at him.

"What the— sit down you idiot!" Mikhail hissed and Harvey pouted when he was tugged down into his seat.

"Oh, so he can take enough photos worthy of being Joe Biden, but I can't clap for five seconds? Not cool man, not cool" Harvey grumbled.

"Don't you mean Goldberg...? You know what, never mind" Jamie muttered.

While Cole began reciting his lines, Jamie sat up and squinted his eyes as he listened to the dull monotone voice coming from his friend.

"Something about this is..." he started and Mikhail nodded.

"Off..." Mikhail finished.

"He's so bad..." Harvey whispered, hoping it was low enough that Eros wouldn't hear him.

But truth be told, Eros was too busy watching to even think of looking away for a single second, let alone listening in on their conversation.

"I guess not all beautiful people are good actors" Mikhail said with a shrug.

Harvey glanced over to his boss and it only took one look to notice how much Eros seemed to be having the time of his life which only ended up making his men extremely confused.

"Delusional" Harvey said while making the 'coo coo' motion with his finger and crossing his eyes.

Once the play was finally over, the crowd cheers took over the area and Eros was the first out of his seat to go and praise Cole as expected.

Upon seeing the man come from off the stage, Eros made his way over, arms extended with a smile gracing his features.

"My love, you were—"

A bump to his shoulder startled Eros and passing by him was another man who rushed up to Cole with a bouquet.

Who the—

Eros' features grew immensely confused when he noticed how the two conversed. Cole had let out a smile as he accepted the bouquet, his hand reaching out to pat the man's head, something Eros has never seen his lover do before.

"Who the fuck is that?" Eros spat out as his friends joined his side.

"Uh...I don't have any idea either, just met the dude the other day. His name is like miles per hour or some shit" Harvey said and Eros didn't even spare his friend a glance as he watched the his lover and the unknown man converse.

He somehow felt...uneasy. Who was this man that's gotten to receive such a gentle side of Cole that took Eros months to achieve?

His feet moving faster than his thoughts, Eros approached the two with a forced smile on his lips.

"Here we go" Harvey said in a faux 'Mario' voice and was only met with a jab to his side.

"Cole" Eros called out and Cole looked to him, his smile widening a bit when seeing him.

Myles found himself immediately intimidated by the tall stature of the man who just approached them and upon seeing his face, his eyes widened. It was him, the man from the photo he'd seen some time ago.

Cole's boyfriend.

Myles watched as Cole's entire demeanor seemed to change in the blink of an eye as the man showered him in praise, a bashful expression showing on the beautiful man's face.

Disliking his presence being quite outright ignored, Myles made it known again with a quick clearing of his throat.

When the man's eyes landed on him, Myles could clearly see the unhappiness that was shining through them. The azure eyes that were trained on him made Myles feel like a knife was suddenly stabbed through his head.

Yes, his head.

"Oh, totally didn't notice you there. Who's this?" Eros said as he scrutinized Myles.

"This is my friend Myles" Cole said and Eros gave a chilling smile.

"I'd say it's a pleasure to meet you but I'd rather not lie on the first meeting" Eros said and Cole gave him a look, as if to warn him and say 'be nice'.

Myles was taken aback by the unexpectedly blunt words. He has such a foul personality! How could someone like this possibly be Cole's boyfriend?

"But since you're Cole's friend, I'll pretend to be cordial. I'm Cole's husband, Eros" Eros greeted and a chill ran through Myles body at the words.

Husband...? But...he thought that they're only dating!

Anyone could see the conflict running through Myles just by glancing at them and Jamie could only take pity on the poor kid.

"He's so wrong for that and he knows it" Jamie said as he shook his head.

"Harvey, go do something stupid and diffuse the situation" Mikhail said and Harvey gave a shocked look.

"Me?! What am I? The comedic relief?!" He exclaimed and Mikhail nodded.

"It's what you're best at" he said before pushing the man towards the trio.

"I'd appreciate it if you didn't send my lover off into the perilous unknowns" Jamie said with a side eye and Mikhail huffed.

"It was either that or have Eros bring the house down on that kid" he said.

Jamie said nothing because he knew it was true. Any minute longer and that glaring contest those two were having would surely turn into something no one wanted.
