He was finally reflected in her eyes.

The taste of your flesh as he tears off a savory piece. He could quench his burning thirst with the sweet taste of her blood. Her screams provided the greatest background music he could ever fathom. Her eyes never leaving his own as she watched him devour her. The sound of her heart finally surrendering, giving up, and stopping forever. When he finally wipes his mouth he feels tears make its way down his cold cheeks. He is baffled. Demons don't cry, especially not after a meal such as that.
