"Harry! Ron!" Ginny yelled, Pansy Parkinson and Blaise Zabini were on her left and right side. All three filled with both excitement and nerves.

"What?" Ron asked, walking into the Gryiffindor common room from the boys dorm. Harry following close behind him. "Hermione......She's been in labor for over an hour" Ginny explained as calmly as she possibly could. "What?! Is she at St. Mugos?" Harry questioned. Ginny nodded. "Well what are we bloody waiting for? Let's go!" Ron shouted. The five students apparited to St. Mugos.

"Hermione Granger" Harry panted to the reception witch. "W-Where is she??" He asked. She flicked through her issue of Witch Weekly before looking up. "Second floor, eight room" She drifted her eyes back to the magazine.

Ron was surprised to see that Fred, George and his mother were all seated in the room once they had entered. Both Draco and Hermione's mothers were sitting beside Molly.

"Mione! You have no idea the amount of stress of getting here" Harry moaned ,sitting down beside the twins. Hermione grinned slightly. The Gryiffindor was happy to have her friends finally present.

"So how dilated are you??" Pansy asked, sitting down beside Ginny. "Two" Hermione groaned and grasped Draco's hand. He winched briefly. The Slytherin had no idea she had such a tight grip.

Hermione's mother, Jean, moved to be seated at her daughters right side. "Who do you want to be here for the delivery, love" Jean asked.

Hermione paused before answering as another contraction hit. Her face twisted in pain.

"Well, I guess you can stay I'd you'd like" Hermione turned to Draco. "Yeah, okay" Draco nodded slightly. Hermione gently pecked his cheek.

After another two hours, the midwife broke Hermione's water and suggested Hermione get some rest and to call if she needed anything. Mrs. Weasley ordered her bunch of children out, along with Harry. Mrs. Malfoy left ,as did Mrs. Granger. "You don't have to stay" Hermione said kindly to her boyfriend. "I'm probably crushing you're hand ,anyways" Hermione giggled slightly. Draco smirked.
"I'll stay if you want" Draco offered. Hermione nodded.

"So how you holding up there, tiger?" Draco asked. "Technically, its Lion; but yeah I guess it can't get any worse" Hermione corrected him. The Slytherin smirked at her correcting him. He found it amusing that even in her painful state, she managed to smile through it.

Hermione drifted off into a light sleep , Draco sorta fell asleep as well.

After forty five minutes, the pair were awoken by the nurse.

She checked that everything was alright. "Okay Mrs. Granger, it looks like you are four centimeters" the nurse informed the couple. Hermione nodded slightly and breathed heavily. The nurse left the room.

"This is so boring!" Fred moaned. "These things take time, Fred! For goodness sake" Mrs. Weasley reminded her son. "Yeah, but this is two long!" George added.

"This could go on for over a day, you know" Mrs. Granger informed the twins. Both boys groaned in frustration. "Image if you were both in Hermione's shoes" Harry said.

"Don't be silly, Harry" Fred started. "Hermione's shoes would never fit us!" George finished "its a muggle saying" Harry sighed.

Ginny and Pansy were discussing the baby. "This is so exciting" Ginny smiled. "Yes, and nerve wrecking" Pansy added.

"So, you mean this could go on for days? Like actual days??" Ron asked Narcissa Malfoy. Narcissa nodded. "It could roughly last until tomorrow evening, at most" Narcissa informed the bprded red headed boy. "Well, what can we do to pass the time then?" Blaise asked.

"Nothing. Absolutely nothing" Ginny whined.
