Chapter 20
Can't♡ believe this is my 20th chapter, hope you like it☆☆ comment pls.
The Christmas break had ended and everyone was boarding the train. Mrs. Weasley was holding back her tears as she watched her children get onto the train. "I'll see you later; after the feast?" Hermione asked Draco with a raised eyebrow. Draco grinned. "Yeah, I've gotta go now. I suppose Pansy and Blaise will be looking for me. See you later" Draco replied. Hermione nodded and gave him a quick hug. The blond hugged back eagerly.
The two went their separate ways.
"Hey, how was Christmas at the Weasleys'??" Pansy asked. Draco smirked, remembering all the fun he had unexpectedly had. Mrs. Weasley had knitted him a blue Weasley sweater with a bright yellow 'D' on the front. The frothy hot chocolate that Mrs. Weasley had whipped up, caking it in marshmallows. The absolutely delicious Christmas dinner. The crackling fire place as Hermione snuggled up next to him. The late nights Draco, Harry and Ron had spent chatting about everything and anything. Ginny coming in every now and then to tell them to shut it. Draco had learned the female red head had valued her sleep. Especially at three o' clock in the early AM's. Draco had never seen the red head be so firey.
Everything had been so perfectly put together for the Weasley's Christmas; the Malfoy Christmas' were normally dull, with a lot of presents and of course everything Draco could ever want. But no happiness, no memories he would forever treasure. When Sunset came, Draco, Hermione and their life bundle of joy could make their own memories.
"Was everything boring? Or was it alright??" Marcus asked. "It was also perfectly breathtaking'' Draco remarked. Blaise raised an eyebrow. "Mrs. Weasley even made me a sweater" Draco presented the blue sweater to his fellow Slytherins'. Pansy examined it. "Mmmh. Its cute." She stroked it."and very soft" the brunette added.
Draco nodded.
He had enjoyed wearing that. In the harsh ,cold weather.
The train took off.
The sweet wagon had arrived at the Golden Trios' compartment.
Ron tossed Hermione the several Chocolate Frogs' she had ordered. Harry gave her a funny look, but the girl shrugged it off.
In truth, she didn't honestly care.
The train came to a steady holt.
Hogwarts, at last! Hermione thought. Though she had enjoyed herself greatly at the Weasley's , she had mussed her education and her valued books.
The brunette made her way to the Great Hall.
"Hi Hermione" Seamus Finnegan smiled at her, his dimpled smile was framed by many freckles. "hello Seamus" Hermione addressed her fellow Gryffindor. "Hey Hermione; have a nice Christmas?" Dean asked her. Hermione nodded before talking. "Yes, thank you. How was yours , Dean?" She beamed at the boy. "Alright" he replied.
"Hi Neville" Hermione only noticed the quite boy now. Neville looked up from his plate of chicken. "Hi Hermione. How's it goin'?" He asked her politely. "Everythings great. How are you doing, Neville?" Hermione asked. He briefly nodded before returning to his chicken.
Ron had begun shoveling down his food. Wolfing it away in minutes. Hermione then remembered the amusement Draco had gotten from seeing Ron eat so quickly. Yet Ron never gained a peck. He was long and lanky.
"Woah, Ron!" Ginny laughed. Ron shrugged and gulped down some butter beer. "I'm quite hungry, y'know" He added to his sister.
Hermione smiled at the scene around her. It felt astoundingly great to be back at Hogwarts. Surrounded by the people she loved and cared for.
