Chapter 18
Everyone was leaving for the Christmas holidays. Hermione went to sit with Ron and Harry, and Draco went to sit with Blaise, Goyle, Marcus, and Pansy.
"Hey 'Mione" Harry said. "Hi" she smiled back. "So how's uh Sunbeam? Was that it?" Ron asked which caused both Harry and Hermione to laugh. "Its Sunset, Ron. Shes good" Hermione replied, once she had calmed down a bit.
"Mum is excited to talk to you and Malfoy- Er Draco , about the baby." Ron smirked. "Really?" Hermione asked. "Really." Ron nodded. "Knowing your Mum, she probably has a speech all planned out.'' Harry laughed. Hermione grined.
Draco was extremely nervous about going to the Weasley's for Christmas. He gazed out the window. "You okay?" Pansy asked him. Draco nodded, silently. He could feel Millicent's eyes bore into the back of his head. He couldn't help but wonder; if this is what everyone's like now, what happens when Sunset arrives??
Soon the train pulled up at the station. Draco basically fearing his life. The Weasley's would never except him into their home. He had tormented two of their kids for his whole school career. He was the son of Lucuis Malfoy, A dreaded enemy of Arthur Weasley.
Hermione traveled along the compartments to find her lover.
"Draco! C'mon" she smiled. Her golden eyes scanned the train for the blond. They landed on him. The Gryiffindor grabbed the Slytherin boys arm, dragging him to find the Weasley's.
Finally, the two spotted a group of hugging red heads. Harry's raven hair standing out. As was Lavender's blonde mase.
"Hi Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. So good to see you both again" Hermione embraced Molly. Molly placing a death grip of a hug on the girl.
"You must be Draco," Mr. Weasley held out his hand for the young boy to shake. Draco took it hastily. Mr. Weasley beamed at him. Strangely, he was the only adult to ever treat him as an equal.
"Hermione!" The twins yelled. The two ,tall ,reheads embraced their younger brothers friend. Hermione hugged back. Draco stood there ,taking in the scene. He was feeling rather out of place.
"Don't worry about it. Mrs. and Mr. Weasley are already taking a liking to you" Harry spoke to Draco. Draco looked into the boys enhancing green eyes. "Uh, thanks" Draco smiled. How did Harry know he was having major distressful thoughts about his stat with the red headed clan?
The group soon arrived at the Burrow.
Mrs Weasley immediately went into cooking. She had a good bundle to cook for. A one year and a half old Teddy Lupin was wobbling around. Mrs. Weasley had suffered awful empty nest syndrome, so she has taken in the young Lupin.
"Hi Ted" Harry smiled, lifting the little boy up into his arms.
"Get practice ,eh 'Mione" Ron sniggered.
"Teddy's been learning to hobble 'round the place. Tell you're uncle Harry all about that" Arthur suggested to the small boy. Teddy nodded his head and went into a full conversation on how he was talking in full sentences and walking like a pro, as he had mentioned that uncle Charlie had told him that himself.
Teddy's hair was a vivid turquoise blue. It suited him. He had an adorable button nose. And little dimples.
"Hey, aren't you and Teddy distant cousins?" Hermione asked Draco. Draco nodded. "His grandmother and my mother are sisters" Draco explained to a curious Ron. Ron nodded. "So he's like your third cousin?" Ron was working it out in his head. Draco nodded.
"Uncle H'arry?" Teddy smirked. Harry looked down to him. "I've been practicin' Quidditch, on a mini brwoom" Teddy didn't have very good pronunciation.
What do you think of this chapter? ▧ Did you expect Teddy Lupin to be in it??
