Name: Ashley (Ash)

Character: Sweet and loving but the captain of the volleyball team so a lot of people know her. She's almost the 'it' girl of the school with her beauty and personality. She plays the Ace position in the team. She loves music and singing along with sweets.

Name: Sophia (Sophie)

Character: Hyper but bad ass and scary when mad. Sweet and kind to those who she likes but bitchy and fierce to those she doesn't. She's also in the Volleyball team as a middle blocker.

Name: Faith

Character: New girl in school. Sweet and shy. Not much into sports.

Name: Elora (El)

Character: Formal most of the time, she's the setter so basically the brains of the volleyball team. She's also a good friend of Ash and sometimes hang out with the group if she doesn't have anything better to do.

Name: Ayden

Character: Otaku and an outcast. He loves to stay in doors and just listen to music or watch anime or even gaming. He's not good with people and doesn't talk much but since he, his twin (Sophie), and Ash grew up together he talks to them a bit. Ash does her best to make conversation with him and sometimes it works because she too likes anime but sadly it doesn't always work.

Name: Luca

Character: Sophie's boyfriend, he's sweet and caring and a total nerd but still student body president so he is quite popular as well.

Name: Xavier (X)

Character: Bad ass, don't let the glasses full you! He's the bad boy at the school and would normally care two shits if someone was crying or if he broke a girls heart, but when he sees Ash crying he knew he couldn't just ignore her.. but why?

~Prologue~

"Wh-what?" I ask trying my best to calm down and not start crying right away.

"I just.. it's strange Ash.. I really like her." My heart felt like it had just been ripped out and crushed right in front before he just shoved it back in without fixing it.

"Yo-you like Faith?" I ask looking down hoping he would say no.

"Yeah.. she's just so pretty and so much like me." He said and I nodded getting my act together and putting the mask back on before I looked at him and smiled.

"Good for you, you'll make a cute couple. You should definitely ask her out if that's what would make you happy. I know she likes you too." I say brightly even though all I wanted was to break down at tell him no, tell him how I feel how I've felt for years.. but I know that won't change anything and it won't make him happy.

"Do you think so?" He asked looking hopeful, his light blue eyes shining and I almost broke right there.. I've already lost to a girl who's only been here for about a month.. how did this even happen? Oh yeah.. I had already lost the moment he laid eyes on her.

~Flashback~

"Guy's this is Faith. She's new to the school and I thought she'd like have a few friends." Luca said taking a seat next to Sophie hugging her to his side.

"Hi! I'm Sophia but you can call me Sophie! It's nice to meet you!" Said Sophie smiling at her and Faith looked a bit taken back. Now that I think about it how are Sophie and Ayden even related? They're so different from each other just like night and day.

"Sorry about her she can be a bit hyper, I'm Ashley by the way. Feel free to call me Ash, oh and this is Ayden." I say giving her a smile and glancing at Ayden who surprisingly was staring at the girl as she looks at me. Is he.. is he blushing?

"I-it's nice to meet you.." She said lowly while holding the side of her hand and look down shyly. I look at her, she's blond with blue eyes and nothing particularly calls attention or stands out from her clothing or body other than her long hair. She's got a cute face though.

"You too." I say as she takes a seat.

"Captain, we have practice now. We should go." Said Elora when she steps next to me and I look at her before nodding.

"Right. Well it was nice to meet you, come on Sophie." I say and she nods getting up locking hands with me but not before kissing her boyfriend goodbye.

We walked to the court where the team was and we started practice after we changed to gym cloth. My mind kept running back to Ayden, the more I think about it the more I know that he just got a crush on the girl even though he doesn't even know her. My spikes kept getting harder as my anger was getting the best of me.

10 minutes before lunch ended we got changed and walked back to class just as the bell rang. Am I seriously already losing to the new girl? She just got here and she already managed to gain his attention and make him blush.. I never in my life thought I'd say this but.. I'm jealous of another girl.

~End Flashback~

"Yeah." I say giving him a smile before getting up.

"I have to go though, good luck." I say before I started walking out but..

"Hey Ash.." I stop but don't turn around not confident that I'd manage to keep it together.

"Thanks for the help.. I'll ask her out today when I walk her home." He said and I bite my lip.

"Good." Is all I managed to get out before I walked out and started to run with the tears in my eyes bumping into someone on the way but I kept looking down.

"Watch it!" I hear a snappy voice but I ignore it.

"Sorry." I mumble before running again making it to the roof where I finally let myself cry alone.. that's until.

"Why are you crying?"
