Amanda's POV:

I shook the thoughts away and gave him a smile.

"You go wake the twins up, I'm going downstairs!" I exclaimed and ran downstairs laughing. I ran to the kitchen to see Christian's friends. What the heck were they doing here so early? And on a Sunday.

"Oh hey guys, what are you doing here?" I asked

"Oh and where's Veronica?"

"I'm right here sweetie! Just getting some cereal for the boys." I heard Veronica say from the pantry.

"Oh okay, so what are you guys doing here?" I asked again

"We were just bored and decided to go here, we didn't know you were gonna be here." Bryan said

"Yeah, uhmm well I crashed here last night with the twins. I needed someone to take care of the twins last night because I had to work and my aunt's not home." I explained as I sat down beside Kyle.

A few minutes later, we saw Christian run down the stairs laughing with the twins giggling on his back.

"Oh hey guys, what are you guys doing here?" He asked and set the twins beside me. I turned to the twins and let the guys talk.

"Good morning, did you have a good sleep?" I asked them, Ashley frowned and shook her head. Ashton threw his arm around her shoulder and looked at me.

"She had a nightmare." He simply said

"Oh sweetie, what was it about?" I asked and cupped her cheek with my hand.

"Aunt Lucy was beating you up, and, and she...." She trailed off and looked at Ashton for help. He sighed and bowed his head.

"She dreamt that you died because of Aunt Lucy." He whispered careful not to let the others hear. This just breaks my heart, Ashley and Ashton dream about me getting beaten up by Aunt Lucy, but it was always just beatings. This was the first time I died in her dream. Ever since they saw Aunt Lucy beating me up, the nightmares begun. They were scared of what Aunt Lucy was gonna do to me, I know that they were scared. They didn't wanna lose me and I didn't want them to lose me as well. I'm all they have and they need me.

"Will you excuse us for a minute? They need to go to the bathroom." I excused ourselves and went to the bathroom down the hall and closed the door behind us.

"Sweetie, I won't ever leave you guys. I will always be here for you guys no matter what." I said and cupped each of their cheeks.

"I will always protect you guys from danger, I will always be here for you."

"Aunt Lucy, won't be able to touch you. She will not hurt you because I will never leave you alone with her, never." I kissed both of them on the cheek and pulled them to me. I tightened my hold on them as the tears brimmed my eyes.

"I love you guys so much, don't ever forget that. I'll never leave you." I said and kissed their heads.

"We love you too Amanda, thank you for everything you've done for us. We're just scared because we don't want to lose you." Ashton said as tears start to fall from his eyes. I wiped their tears away with my thumbs and gave them a smile.

"You're stuck with me whether you like it or not." I said and held onto them tighter.

"I love you both so much, cmon let's get some food, sissy's hungry." I said and let out a little laugh. I gave them both a quick hug and walked out behind them.

"Hey, what took you guys so long?" I heard Christian ask as we walked in the kitchen.

"Sorry, they were a bit messy." I lied and he looked at me in the eye. He stood up from the stool and dragged me to the living room away from everyone else.

"Have you been crying? And don't you dare lie to me Amanda." He said in a stern voice, damn it! He knows me too well.

"Okay fine, me and the twins were crying. We were talking and things got a bit too emotional for us." I sighed, I didn't lie but it just wasn't the whole truth.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" He asked

"Not today Christian, I said someday." I said, he sighed but nodded his head.

"Now can we eat, I'm starving." I whined, he laughed and pulled me back to the kitchen. I sat back down on my seat beside Kyle and the twins.

"What was that about?" Kyle whispered to me

"Oh he just needed to ask me something important." I whispered back and he was about to say something else but I guess he decided not to and continue eating his cereal.

"Okay so I know you don't like cereal." Veronica said to me and placed a plate of waffles with chocolate chips, "So I made your favorite." She said with a smile.

"Oh my gosh, thank you!" I exclaimed and dug into my waffles.

"Now don't eat too much or you'll get fat." I heard Nate tease, I stuck my tongue out and continued eating my food.

"I don't care, food is bae." I said, Veronica gave the twins just plain pancakes because she knew that when the twins get sugar in their system, they'd go bonkers. Ultimate sugar high and it's only morning.

As I was finishing my breakfast I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw it was a text from Aunt Lucy. I gulped the food that was still in my mouth and read the text.

'Coming home in about 15 minutes, remember my orders.'

I choked on my water and started coughing. I felt someone rubbing my back. As soon as I calmed down from my coughing fit i looked at everyone and saw they were all looking at me.

"Amanda, are you okay? What happened?" Tyler asked

"Uhhh yeah I'm alright, but I really need to go home now." I quickly said, the twins looked at me with fear in their eyes. They knew what was wrong.

"Right now? But you're not yet even done with breakfast." Chase said

"Please, we really need to go home." I pleaded and looked at Christian for help.

"I'll take her home." He said and stood up walking over to the twins and picking them up. Ashton on his back and Ashley in his arms.

"I'll grab our things, thank you for the breakfast and for letting me stay but I really need to go home." I said and gave Veronica and Tyler a hug and gave the guys quick hugs and ran up the stairs to get me and the twins' stuff. Christian already went to the car with the twins. I quickly ran downstairs and ran to the front door yelling a quick 'bye' to everyone.

I quickly ran to Christian's car and closed the door. The twins were all buckled up in the back and they were looking at me, they were obviously scared.

"Ready to go Mandy?" I nodded my head and leaned back in the seat. He started the car and pulled away from the driveway. After a few minutes of driving, I felt a buzz in my pocket and saw a text from Aunt Lucy, shit.
