Shaira POV

"Tell me." I stated straight to the point and ushered Jace to come and sit on the bed. He quietly agreed but his eyes were still looking at the floor not me. I Lifted his Chin up and still he wasn't looking me in the eye.

"Jace, look at me." At the mention of his name, he looked up knowing I was losing my patience.

"What happened?" I asked again and he opened his mouth to answer but them closed it with a disappointed sigh.

"I lost, Chocolate. I lost." He whispered and I felt myself frown at his statement.

"What did you lose?" Asked I and then I got to know the whole truth.

"I lost in protecting you. I stayed away from you for one whole year thinking he wouldn't get to know about you and you would be safe. He started tracking you when I wasn't ready to make a deal with him. At last he found you and I got to know that when he send some pics of you in your car and in the house with your friends. I freaked out, didn't think of any consequences and booked the tickets to here as soon as possible. I couldn't stop him from hurting.I failed. I failed you, Chocolate. I failed in protecting you. What kind of a fucking Brother am I?!" He yelled the last part out with tears in his eyes and I also felt sympathy for him. The reason he stayed away from me for one year as to protect me. I thought that he forgot about me and didn't need a burden to carry.

What kind of a Sister am I?

I gave up on him and didn't bother to look for him while he looked out for me like always. How could I be so stupid?
My thoughts were interrupted when he spoke again.

"I am not even your biological Brother." He spoke in a daze looking at his hands which were holding mine. Abruptly, he looked up his eyes teary and slightly red while I gaped at him.

"You knew it. Why didn't you tell me?" I questione.

"Chocolate, how would you feel if a person whom you believed was your Brother for your entire life, come home and say that he is your half Brother? That too after one year of separation."

I wouldn't know how to feel.

"How do you know it?" He asked, probably feeling curious.

"He told me." I answered none of us liked to mention his name. We were ashamed of him. Ashamed that he was our relative, that too our Uncle. I pulled myself up a bit but winced when my back sting with pain probably from the whip slashes.

"Are you in pain? Let me call the doctor." He was about to go but I caught hold of his hand and shook my head. I opened my arms for him and he looked uncertain for a while but eventually he hugged me back. I hugged him back as tightly as I could. I felt safe now that no one could harm me. But it was much more better with Aaron.

He broke the hug sniffing and I slapped him hard on the cheek. His head whipped to the side due to the force and he cupped it.

"What the fuck was that for?" He yelled still holding his cheek.

"That was for thinking that you are not my biological Brother. I don't care if we are blood related or not. You have been my Brother and will always be my Brother. No matter what, you are not going to get rid of me so easily. So accept this fact already." I crossed my hands looking at him with a serious look on my face. He nodded his head and saluted me.

"Yes sir." We broke out into hysteric laughing. But it was the truth, no matter what he will always be my brother.

"Alright, enough of laughing now. Take some rest and I will call the doctor to check up on you." He kissed my forehead and left the room. I slipped under the covers and felt asleep feeling drained.

I couldn't breath. I was being suffocated. Something was choking me. My eyes were shut and I couldn't open my mouth due to the force that was being applied. My arms felt cold and paralysed.

What is happening?

Where are the others? I couldn't breath anymore there was not a single thing I could to do. My throat started closing on its accord and I felt myself slipping away. Slipping into darkness again.

Suddenly, the force stopped and the thing pressing on my face was removed. My mouth gasped open for air on its own accord. With lot difficulty I opened my eyes, my vision was blurry. Soon it all registered to me.The sight infront of me was shocking. Aaron holding down a nurse with a mask on her face.

"Who are you?" He asked his voice laced with anger. A different tone that I doubt I heard from him before. She shook her head and he pulled away the mask revealing Elizabeth.

"Yo- You." I stuttered still feeling dizzy from the lack of air. She turned and glared at me as if I would magically disappear.

"You fucking bitch should have been dead now." She yelled but was yanked backward by Aaron.

"Don't you fucking dare talk to her like that otherwise I will rip your tongue off." He gritted through his clenched teeth and she visibly flinched. The door opened and Alicia came in.

"Bitch, Ho-" She stopped mid sentence and looked at Aaron.

"Why are you holding Elizabeth like that?" She asked and he exchanged a look with me.

"Elizabeth here, was trying to suffocate Shaira to death." He replied gripping her shoulders more tightly to stop her from struggling.

"What?!" She yelled and looked me. I guess my state answered it right away.

"What the fuck? Why would you fucking want to kill her? What did she do to you?!" Alicia looked like she would burst now with her face red and hands clenched.

Chris where are you?

"Fucking shut up! Because of her I lost all my money. She is such a slut.." She couldn't even finish her sentence when Alicia jumped on her and punched her face. Elizabeth squeaked and tried to hide from her but it was futile. She would have killed her if it wasn't for Aaron.

"Calm down." He exclaimed to Alicia. Elizabeth took a chance and slipped away from his hands. Just as she opened the door, a police officer came in the view.

Huh! Take that!

"Officer, this is her." Aaron smirked and damn did it look hot. The officer nodded quietly and signalled the woman constable. She took a hold of her and dragged her out while she kept struggling and shouting to set her free.

Free, my ass.

Aaron came to me and slowly cupped my face, looking concerned.

"You ok?" He asked and I nodded my head.

"Yup. Just need some water." Alicia gave me a glass of water and I took it from her feeling my burning throat soothe a bit.

"What was she doing here?" She asked and I prepared myself to get scolded.

"She helped in kidnapping me."

"And you fucking didn't bother to tell us!"

"I forgot." I answered and it was true, I really forgot about it.

"Forgot?! Forgot your kidnapper. Are really so fucking stupid? Fucking forgot." She continued her ranting and I looked at Aaron pleadingly.

"Ok. That's enough Alicia. I admit that what she did was wrong. She could have got herself hurt and anything could have happened if I didn't come but she didn't do it purposely. It's ok." She looked a bit relaxed now and I let out a breath of relief. She seemed to notice this and shot a glare at me.

"How did the police get to know?" I curiously asked.

"CCTV to the rescue." He chuckled and nodded his head towards the camera at TOP right corner of the room.

"Plus a ward boy saw her and I. He must have informed them." He added and I nodded. My life feels like a cliche action movie right now.

"You stay here and let me get her some food." Aaron said to Alicia and kissed my cheek. Aww. But before he could go out I stopped him.

"Aaron?"

"Yeah?"

"You cursed, again."

Hello my beauties, how are you this beautiful day?😂😂 i feel so bad. My school started and I feel like crying. Why? So much torture at such a young age. Btw what did you think of this chap.
