"Yes goal!" Laura cheered and I high fived her as we earned another score. Currently it was 30/27 and we were in the lead.

"We are going to win." I yelled so the girls could hear me over the loud cheering of people.

We were now in the basket ball game cheering for our team. The boys were also here just that they were sitting one row below us.

"Thank you." Laura thanked me as I sipped on my coke.

"For what?" She laughed followed by the girls. The boys were busy watching the game so they didn't hear us.

"Because of you Zach is playing so good today. Fuck! You are one lucky bitch." I rolled my eyes and watched the game.

How many times do I have to tell them that I don't like him???

Let me tell you what happened.

Flashback

I settled down on my seat just when the speaker went on and the voice of one of the judges boomed through it.

"Zach Steel what do you think who will win the finale today?"

"We have been practising for three months and we have been working hard, everyone in the team,especially our coach. So I know that we will win today for the reputation of Mount valley high school. Also ....because I have my lucky charm with me today." Zach glanced at me and gave me a wink which caused the crowd to 'aww' and I to cover my face with my hands because of the attention and also of the blush that was coating my cheeks now.

"Thank you very much for your co operation." He thanked him and Zach nodded his head while shaking hands with the captain of our rival team - Silver Cross school.

The game was about to start when I received a message from Zach

See ya after the game babe.

I replied with a short yeah and turned my attention to the court where the teams were standing infront of each other. You could see the glare the two captains shared but nonetheless shook their hands.

Zach looked in my direction and send a flying kiss, to which I smiled and the crowd looked at the direction his hand was pointing and saw me. Fuck why is he doing this?

The referee blowed the whistle and the game started.

Flashback over

I watched Zach passed the ball to Mason and he dribbled it close to the post but another player from the opponent team caught it and passed it to another one.

"One minute left." I cursed as I saw the time on the board.

"Come on!" Alicia shouted and Chris gave her a stink eye.

Geez why are they so possessive? She is not going to run away with someone else.

Luke from our team caught the ball in mid air and passed it to Zach who dribbled it all the way to the post but then the other players surrounded him.

He jumped up and passed it to Mason.

And threw it on the basket

The referee whistled and we all jumped up in the air. Zach ran up to Mason and jumped on him making him stumble and fall down. The rest also went and jumped up on them.

"Yes, we won!" I shouted and hugged Laura who was on cloud nine.

"That was an interesting game." Riley stated and Laura's eyes widened.

"That was the best game ever!" I rolled my eyes at her and the team huddled up on the court, still congratulating each other.

"The winner of the basket ball champion 2017 is The Bulls." The judge voice boomed through the mic and Zach went up to the stage with the team members behind him in a line according to their ranks. Everyone shook hands with the judges and one of the superior judges gave the trophy to Zach who raised it in the air and the audience went bonkers. They took pictures with the trophy, yelling, some holding Zach up who was holding the trophy.

"I am gonna go." I informed and the girls looked at each other smirking.

"Ok." Sam winked and I again rolled my eyes. When are they going to learn? I guess never.

I waited infront of the boys quarter and you could hear the loud noises coming from inside. I didn't want to go cause it would really messy with sweaty boys and disgusting smell which will probably make me vomit. The door opened and Zach came flashing me his charming smile which would make girls swoon. I would definitely fall for him if he wasn't a player.

"Hello beautiful." He hugged me and he wasn't sweaty for which I thanked the Lord. His hair was wet which meant that he had showered and changed out of his jersey.

"Hmm my jersey suits you." He looked me up and down and I smiled.

"Of course everything suits me." I sassed and was waiting for a comeback but it totally changed.

"That's true.Are you coming to the party?" I shook my head remembering that I would be going there today.

"No I have to go somewhere." I saw a flash of hurt in his eyes but I went away just as quickly as it appeared.

"Ok have fun." He pecked my lips and I smiled returning back to my car which was parked out side.

I didn't bother to tell the girls cause they know where I will be going. I hate this day. I parked my car in the porch and went to the garage to get my bike or more specifically my dad's.
Opening the shutter of the garage, I turned the lights on. I didn't use it that much only on this day. Pulling the covers off of it, I saw the bike, my father's bike. It was really special for him and I had a lot of memories with it. I felt connected to them when I saw this bike. It was a blue and black Harley Davidson which Mom had gifted him on his 28 birthday. I remember the expression on his face, he was so happy and hugged the living daylights out of Mom.

I giggled and swung my right leg on it and inserted the key. It roared as I pressed the power button on and started the long journey of 4 excruciating hours. It was getting cloudy and dark showing that it was going to rain soon. The wind blew making my hair go wild and the feeling of freedom and adrenaline burst through me. I increased the speed and smiled wondering why does this makes me so happy??

Because it has a lot of good and bad memories.

I felt sad remembering that day again but quickly pushed it to the back of my mind.

No I promised. I won't cry.

I unlocked my phone still concentrating on the road and connected it with the bike's music system. Yeah you heard right this fucking bike has music system lounged in it. How fucking awesome? It picked up the connection and Like I am gonna lose you by Meghan Trainor and John Legend started.

The words were true. You never know what's gonna happen unless you experience it and it might change your life. Like it did to mine. It took everything away from me; the most important people in my life.

One thing that I don't regret in my life is that I enjoyed every moment spent with my family. We never held any grudge against anyone and that's what made our bond even more stronger and deeper.

A drop of water fell on my forehead followed by thousands of them. It was raining heavily with thunders and for a moment I felt as if the sky itself was crying. The soothing sound of the music blocked the frightening sound of thunder. The rain soothed me but the long drive continued until I reached there.
