This is too much.

How dare she?

"Mein bas uski help karna chahta tha toh vaps mujhe hi suna Rahi thi mujhe hi itna attitude dikha thi hai toh mein bhi kam nahi hu agar usse help nahi chahiye toh even I don't care.aaj se kuch help nahi karta uski" I sat on bed frustratedly.

"Uske liye mein ghar pe work kar raha tha aur mujhe hi keh rahi thi I don't need your help"

"Toh mujhe kya hai kare usse Jo karna hai dard hoga toh bas roti hai aur mein woh nahi dekh sakta oh god kya hogya hai mujhe" I rubbed my hands on face being irritated.

I have a meeting in 15 minutes and  it's already 11:45 Am.

I ran my hands through hair and stood up taking my laptop.

Already these business meetings and works are hectic and makes me tired and this girl is always on her toes to quarrel and argue with me.

After ending the meeting I closed the laptop and kept it aside then stood up to have lunch.

I was hungry already.

I went towards the kitchen and saw Maria.As today we both were home and because of Preeta so I called afternoon.

After drinking water I went to dining hall and sat their.maria came and served my plate.

I was about to eat that I remembered her and the morning incident flashed my mind.

I don't want to accompany her but..

"Maria preeta ko lunch deke aau she will have in her room" finally after battling with my mind I told her to take her lunch to her room itself.

She nodded and served to another plate and went towards her room and I started to have lunch.

"Karan sir preeta mam nahi hai room mein"she said coming back with a plate in her hand.

I looked her and was confused.

"Room mein nahi hai matalab washroom mein hogi dekho"i said to her.

"Nahi hai sir mein dekhiye washroom ka door already open hai"she said tensely.

"Kya? Nahi hai matlab "I got up from my seat and moved towards her room.

I entered inside and saw her no where.

"Preeta"I called her.

Then I saw the washroom door was open I entered inside and she was not there.

I was actually not getting anything.

"Pre..preeta "I again called her searching in the whole house.

My room, kitchen, living room but she was no where.

"mujhe nahi rehna yaha tumhare saath leke chalo mujhe"

I remembered her words and tension was already growing in my mind.

No she can't go like this..

I ran to the terrace and searched for her but she was not there.

I don't know what I was feeling but It was not a good sign.I was not ok.

I ran back and sat on the sofa covering my face.

"Kyu??tum batao kyu ? Kyu hu mein yaha kya karu yaha aise rehke tum toh hamesha mujhe Dante rehte ho abb mujhe chot lagi hai toh bhi tum mujhe dant rahe ho so mein ja rahi hu that's it"

Noo Preeta you can't go like this.

"Sir mam ko call karke dekhiye yahi kahi gayi hongi"Maria said.

I saw her and remembered that she..she cannot walk properly..

God why is she so stubborn..

I ran to my room and talking my phone I searched her number.I had her number mom had once gave me.

I dailed her number and it connected and started to ring.

But my face fell listening the ringtone from her room.

I moved towards her room.

I searched and found it on bed under the blanket.

"Mobile chodke kaha ja sakti hai yaar "I closed my eyes and sat on bed with a heavy heart.

"Pata nahi kaha gayi hongi thik se chal bhi nahi sakti aur kab gayi mein toh yahi tha lekin door banda tha toh mujhe pata nahi chala hoga god ab kya karu"

I was actually not getting where to find her where she may have gone.

Hospital?

Yes she may have gone to hospital may be for an emergency case yes .

Without wasting a sec I searched for the hospital number in a Google and called.

After two rings I heard a feminine voice from other side.

"Hello how can I help you"

"Hello actually I wanted to know whether dr.preeta is in the hospital or not please it's an urgent"I asked her.

"Dr.preeta arora?"she asked.

" yes wahi kya please app bata sakti hai"I pleaded her.

"Yes sir I will check once and let you know but app kon baat kar rahe hai we need to know sir"she asked.

"I am  hus.. husband of Dr.preeta please aap jaldi batayiye check karke"I said her.

What did I just say

Husband? I can't believe..

"Karan Luthra right so nice to talk with you sir" she excitedly asked me and I was not in state to talk with her or listen to her gratitude.

"Yes aap please jaldi batayiye it's an urgent"I said getting angry she was making it late and I was already hell tensed.

"Sorry sir I will check hold on"she said and I waited for her reply.

"Sir actually dr.preeta had took leave for a week she is on leave but"I hang up the call before she says something and threw the phone angrily.

Where are you damit?

I came to the living room and asked Maria.

"Tum jab aayi thi preeta yaha thi Kya?"

"Nahi sir meine unhe nahi dekha shayad mere Ane se pehle hi gayi hongi kahi"she replied.

"Thik hai tum ja sakti ho I will inform you "I told her. She nodded and left.

"Woh Delhi toh nahi ja sakti itni jaldi agar ja rahi hogi toh bhi on the way noo she can't go nahi ja sakti woh" I was literally feeling like I have lost something.

"Isse pehle bhi mere saath jagda kiya hai lekin aaj bohot keh rahi thi ki mujhe Jana hai.aisa nahi ho sakta woh aise nahi ja sakti yaha se woh bhi usse chot lagi kaha gayi hogi kaise gayi hogi please come back yaar" I pleaded to her I don't know where she was and how she was It was making me more worried.

Suddenly I saw her phone beeping with an incoming call.

And It made me more worried seeing the caller id.

What should I say?

It's better to not receive.no they will get worried so I recived nervously.

"Hello preeta kaise hi karan ke saath rehke apne mummy papa ko bhul gayi Haan"sarla aunty asked and I felt guilty listening her.

No it's not like that we are not like that.

"Preeta?"I came back to sense listening her voice.

"Ha sarla ma woh preeta washroom mein hai" I lied which made me angry on myself.

"Oh accha karan tumne toh call hi nahi Kiya haa kaise ho? Rakhi ko bhi call nahi Kiya tumne bata rahi thi bas preeta hi sabse baat karti rehti hai"she said.

"Aisa nahi hai ma Woh bas thoda busy rehta hu " I wanted to hang up and run out to find her.

"Ha preeta ne kaha mujhe"

"Aunty woh ek imp call ara hai toh mein preeta se keh dunga "I hung up without thinking twice.

The main aim was to find her.I Cannot make them tensed if they got to know that preeta is not there I don't know what my mom will do.

I ran outside locking the door.It was 1 pm afternoon .where should I find her atleast she had not even took her phone.

I could have tracked her number and I know she has not took anything with her.

It was all my fault..

"Mujhe waisa nahi kehna chahiye tha usse pehle hi chot tha aur I just messed up everything "

I went and stood near our apartment Looking for her.

Please let her be here anywhere.

I literally prayed to God for her.

"Yahi kahi Milo please"I ran hand through my hairs and searched for her around there everywhere.

But she was no where.

I wanted to scream her name standing there.atleast she will come listening my call.

Please come back soon.

I knew she had gone because of me.I was such a stupid to behave like that with her.she was my best friend I guess no one will bear the way I behaved.

But I didn't relaised anything till now.her absence is just killing me form inside.

I am sure she cannot walk properly then she must have took a cab from here.

Yeah..I guess..

I can ask.

I walked a little far and saw a cab stand there.

There were many cab hope she had gone in any one of them.

I Don't have any other option now.I Don't know her friends and even I don't anyone's number and her phone is locked.

And moreover it was my fault so let me find her without making anyone worried.

I am sure at any condition i will find her.

I have to otherwise I will not be able to forgive myself.

I just can't loose her like this.

I move towards the cab stand and asked one of them.

"Excuse me "i called.

"Kaha Jana hai sir "he asked.

"Nahi woh mujhe kuch puchna tha kya aap madad karenge"I asked him.

"Agar hamne pata hoga toh batadenge"he replied and i nodded.

"Woh aapne kisi ladki kodekha hai I mean woh pink colour ka kurta pehna tha "i asked remembering her dress.

"Arey sahab aise kaise pata chal sakta hai ek din mein bohot log aate hai toh kaise dress pe pata chal sakta hai agar apke paas unka photo hai toh dikhaiye agar yaad hoga toh batadenge"he said.

But i don't have her any pics.where should I find it now.I opened my phone gallery and searched if a single pic could help me.

Suddenly my eyes caught our pic of mehendi ceremony.I was sitting beside her and was searching my name on her hand as said by our family and friends.

Mom had sent me that pic saying how cute we were looking.I chuckled remembering the day and pic.

But when I saw her.I missed her suddenly.I felt a pinch in my heart for making her to take such step.

I made her cry many times and now she had left leaving me alone.

"Sir"i came back to  senses  listening him and shown  him the pic.

"Yeh hai kahi dekha hai?"i asked them.

Please haan kehdo ki dekha hai..

"Nahi sir meine toh nahi dekha inhe kahi "he said and my heart beat increased with the fear of losing her.

No please

"Please yaad kijiye kahi dekha hoga"I asked him again for confirmation.

"Meine toh nahi dekha sir mein abhi aya hu lekin inmese kisine dekha hoga mein puchta hu rukiye sir"He replied and showed to the other cab drivers.

"Kya kaha dekha hai kisine?" I asked him immediately.

"Nahi sir nahi dekha hai kisi ne bhi "he said.

"Please app thik se puchiye unhe dekha hoga aur woh unke pair mein bandage tha chot lagi thi unhe toh kisi ko yad hoga please aur ek baar puchiye"I pleaded him.

"Thik hai sir rukiye"he nodded and again asked them.

"Sir humme se kisine nahi dekha hai inhe hum cab leke idhar udhar rehte hai toh pata nahi chalta sir "one of them answered.

But this was not the Answer i wanted from them. I was restless.I looked down thinking about her.

Kaha ho tum preeta..

My mind was occupied by her and was searching for her.

"Sir lekin aur ek driver hai woh kahi Gaya hai shayad unhe ek baar puchenge toh confirm hojayega" another one said and I looked at them with Little hope.

"Woh kab aayega apke pas unka number hai toh unhe yaha Ane ko boliye please jaldi "I asked being worried.

I don't know where she had gone it will be easy for me to find her as soon as possible if I get some clue.

"Thik hai sir rukiye"he nodded and dailed his no.

"Sir number nahi lag raha hai "he replied and i closed my eyes frustratedly.

"Please ek aur baar try kijiye "he nodded and dailed again and I was looking at him hopefully.

"Sir ring hora hai "he said and I looked at him waiting to say something.

"Sir woh aara hai thoda time lagega woh thoda dur hai isliye app tension mat lijiye apki wife mil jayengi"listening to him my heart was heavy with pain.

Wife

"Kitna time lagega unhe "i asked him immediately.

"Kam se kam ek ghata lagega sir "he replied.

I can't wait for an hour for him I have to find her soon.But what if he knows about her.

Ahhh..

I was messed up where should I go and find her.its already 3 in afternoon it's been nearly 3 hrs she is missing.

But i will find her

"Aap unka number dijiye mein unhe puchke unse mil lunga please i Cannot wait here "i asked them and took the driver no .

Talking my car keys I sat in the car.I called the driver and asked his address that where he was.I can meet him there and ask I cannot wait anymore.

I hope that he knows about preeta.

I was about to start the car that my phone rang.

I looked at the phone screen .it abhi was abhi.

I immediately recived beacuse I wanted to tell him but left as even he will be worried and will kill me for hurting her more that now she is missing.

"Abhi preeta nahi mil Rahi yaar kahi nahi hai  sab dundh liya meine.kaha hogi woh"my eyes filled with tears saying him.

"Karan kya bolra hai tu preeta nahi milri matlab aur tu ro raha hai?"he asked me immediately.

Yes i was about to cry I don't know why i just couldn't control anymore.

"Pata nahi woh kaha chali gayi sab puchliya nahi hai kahi pe mobile bhi nahi leke gayi yaar mujhe bohot ajeeb feel hora hai "I told him feeling restless

"Karan tu ruk tension mat le mein abhi aara hu kaha hai tu "he asked me worriedly.

"Nahi mein woh.."i told him that i was going to meet the driver.

"Nahi tu mat aa mein dundh lunga usse mujhe time nahi hai abhi rakhta hu"

"Nahi mein aara..." I cut him off and hang up the call.I don't want to disturb him i don't know why i said seeing his call i just couldn't control myself from sharing with him.

I will find her alone.I need to it was my mistake.

I started the car immediately.

I had asked his location and told him to wait for me.

After half an hour I reached there and I recognised him as we were on line.

"Please aapse ek help chiye thi"i asked him.

"Haan sir unhone ne bataya mujhe call pe aap unka photo dikhayiye agar meri cab mein aye hoge toh batadunga"he replied.

I nodded and shown him preeta's pic.

Please say yes.

"Haan sir ye mam ko meine hi lift di hai 2 ghante pehle "he replied and my eyes shined with a happiness.

Soon she will be back to me.

"Kaha kaha dekha hai tumne aur kaha lift di " impaciently i asked him.

"Sir woh actually mam ne exact location nahi bataya tha par woh Goria beach ke paas utar gaye "he said.

Beach?

"Unhone wahi location bataya tha?"i asked him for confirmation.

"Nahi sir unhone kaha tha ki church lekin beech raste mein hi utar gaye" he said.

"Accha thank you soo much for helping me"I thanked him and left towards my car.

Beach? Church?

"Abb kaha jau pehle yaha se beach 2 hrs hai. usne wahi drop Kiya hai toh wahi kahi hogi pehle wahi Jana padega agar waha nahi hogi toh kaha dundhu mein tumhe preeta please mil jao yaar"I badly wanted to see her Infont of my eyes safe and sound.

Abhi was calling continuously but i was not receiving his calls. I didn't had time to talk with him its already 4 pm.

Who knows she had gone from there somewhere else.

She is so stubborn i know her. If Something came in her mind she will definitely do that without thinking anything or about anyone.

"Please ek baar mil jao mein tumse Aaj se kabhi jagda nahi karunga i promise aur na hi rulaunga "

I wanted to run  to as soon as possible and this traffic is making me more furious.

It was nearly an hour i am stuck in this traffic.please someone bash theses all vehicles and let me go.

I need to find her.my bestfriend

Our memories were falshing in my mind her antics,her childish behaviour,her smile everything was making me crazy.

I wanted to see her right now.

My heart beat was running like a marathon to find her.

I have realised that I was foolish to behave with her like that.may be even she was stuck with this I just without thinking anything used to be harsh with her.

As we say we will realise someone's importance when they are away from us and the same thing is happening with me.

The traffic was cleared and I was driving fast.I know that it's not good.but i can't help now I really need to see her soon infront of me.

After 1 and half  hour i was near the beach.I parked the car and left outside searching for her.

I searched for her around the place where the driver exactly said.I was roaming around finding her.

I asked some shopkeepers their showing her pic but I didn't got any clue about her.

I ran my hand through hairs worriedly.It was evening and soon will be night.

How i am going to find her at night where she will be.If something happened to her I will never forgive myself.

But

Nothing will happen I will not let that happen.She's around I will find her.

I moved a little further and searched for her impaciently.

This feeling I never felt in my whole life for anyone.

It's just killing me.

She was no where to be found. I looked around standing there.

"Kaha ja sakti hai agar yaha gayi hai toh kaha hai.beach?beach mein hogi?kaha dundhu tumhe preeta " I ran from there towards beach.

Please be there babydoll

There were many people around enjoying.I can see the happy faces running, playing and walking on sand.

I was running here and there finding her. Showing her picture to everyone there.I can't believe I am doing this all.

For her

But I didn't get any clue of her.the sun was setting and people were enjoying the view and here I am not able to find her.

I don't know I want her with me at any cost.

I moved a little further that i bumped with a baby girl.

" Oh god I am so sorry "I didn't saw her as I was busy in searching for her.She fell down.

I sat down to her level and and made her stand.

"Uncle apne meri sari sea shells gira diya"she said making a sad face.

"I am so sorry cutie mein dekha nahi apko ek min mein sab dunga apko collection karke"I said her collecting them.

"Aap kiske saath aye ho yaha?"I asked looking at her.

"Mumma papa ke saath"she shown her parents who were walking towards us.

I smiled at her and nodded.

"Woh preety aunty ne mujhe Diya tha apne gira diya"she said giving her hand to take the sea shells.

"Kon preety aunty ne diya tha apko Don't worry mein dunga apko"I said her.

She showed someone pointing her hand sitting on sand looking at the the sea.

My eyes darted to her direction and I was literally shocked seeing her.

It didn't took me a min to identify her.

Pre..preeta

I couldn't express my happiness seeing her.her back was facing me.but i am damn sure she is preeta.

Finally

"Tumhe woh aunty ne diya ye woh pink colour dress pehna hai?" I asked her.

"Yes woh preety aunty ne diya tha "she said smilingly.

"Thank you so much aap bhi bohot preety ho"I kissed her cheek and thanked her.

Because of her I was able to find preeta.

"Aap bhi  bohot handsome ho "she said in her sweet voice giving her cute dimple smile then ran to her parents.

I chuckled at her and she waved at me saying bye.

I smiled and waved back.

Then my eyes went to her sitting there looking at waves.

I sat there for a sec controlling my racing heart beat seeing her.

Finally I found her Finally. But how should I face her.I gulped nervously eyeing her.

What should I say to her?

How to convince her?

What she will say seeing me here?

What I'd she not agreed to come?

But i won't let her I will take her home.
