In Life Care Hospital

Meghna lied on a hospital bed and her mother and supriya held when Meghna cried heart out.

"I hate you..adu..I hate you...ahhh...ahhh..mom..how could he leave me like this??.."

Her mother patted her head and said

"Meghna calm down take deep breath. Everything will be alright. "

"Mumma nothing is alright. How could he leave me? *sob* I hate him..ahhh"

Supriya held Meghna's hand and said

"Meghna we are here right you aren't alone..and Adi would.."

She cut off..when Meghna held both of their hands and shouted..

"How could you leave me like this...adduuu..I hate youuu.."
"But I love you.."

Suddenly the door opened and here walked in our ever so handsome Aditya..with a worried look with his office bag.

Both supriya and Meghna's mother felt a sigh of relief.

Apparently Aditya had went to office for an important meeting when Meghna went into labour.
Yes..Yes..Meghna was in a labour room..about to deliver their first baby..

Aditya reached her within two strides and immediately kissed her forehead and said

"Sorry sorry sorry..I shouldn't have left your side. "

Meghna's mother and supriya left the room to give them privacy.

Meghna turned her head the other way. She didn't even want to look at his face. She was in so much pain for their baby and he couldn't even cancel his meeting for their baby.

She was about to shout at him but then suddenly another contraction hit her

"Ahhh....ahhhh.."

Meghna held Aditya's wrist tightly.  And Aditya was the next one to yell.

"Ahhh...ahh. Meghna my hand.."

As the contraction subsided Meghna glared at him and said

"Aditya..I am suffering through so much pain and you are yelling for this FREAKING pain..you..ahhh...ahhh.."

She couldn't even complete her sentence when another contraction hit her.

Aditya immediately called the nurse and the nurse examined her and said

"She is ready for the delivery I will get the doctor."

Meghna was in severe pain and sweat formed on her forehead.

The doctor arrived and tiring procedure of delivery started.

Aditya placed a small kiss on Meghna's forehead and said

"Meghna I love you..you can do this. "

After a tiring 3 hours of labour Meghna gave birth to their cute and healthy baby girl.

Aditya was the first one to hold the baby and her cute little fingers when graced his rough and large hands..he knew he was a goner for their baby. He knew he had found a new reason to his living. He had found his
heart beat.  

Aditya slowly handed her to Meghna and Meghna little kissed her forehead and she felt reborned.

Meghna looked at Aditya and he kissed Meghna's forehead and said

"Thank you..for making me the luckiest man ever..Thank you for giving me my princess..."

Meghna smiled at him and the look in his glassy eyes held so much love that Meghna knew their daughter was going to get most of Aditya's love. But a thought crept a smile on her face...
"A daughter is the only person with whom a wife can share her husbands care, love and affection because the more he loves his daughter the more it enhances their (husband and wife's) love. Because afterall she is the living symbol of their love.. :) :)

After all the check ups both Meghna and the baby were brought into a private room.

Aditya was the first one to enter the room.

"Meghna are you alright"

Meghna gave a small smile and said

"Yes I am as fine as I can be"

Aditya kissed her forehead and then their whole family ran in..to greet the youngest member of their family.

After all of them left. Meghna slept off after feeding the baby because of the exertion she went through while labor.

After two days Meghna was brought home with the baby. After doing the arthi and tilak both of them cheerfully welcomed their princess in their new home.

Yes they had moved in into a new two storey bungalow as their family had grown bigger the 3bhk flat wasn't enough so 2 month when Meghna went to her parents house for her delivery they had done the interiors and last month had moved in.

And Meghna's parents had planned to take Meghna and the baby back with them but Aditya and stubbornly refused to leave his daughter as he didn't even want to miss even her blink...aww...

As soon as Meghna reached their room she was shocked to see their room decorated with all baby toys and the room colored in baby pink colour, while the ceiling had sky blue colour with colour full neon stars stuck to it, with the wall behind the bed covered with a life size photo of Aditya Meghna and their baby which was taken at the hospital by sakshi. And it was the first picture of their baby. A small teared rolled down her cheek. Aditya kissed her forehead amd said

"So how is the room..did my princess's mumma like it because I know my princess likes it already" as the baby was fascinated to see the ceiling covered with stars and was giggling. And her soft laughter didn't just fill their room but also filled their heart.

Meghna walked to the bed and slowly placed the baby in the centre and placed to pillows on either side of her and stood up slowly and said

"This is amazing..it looks really fantastic. But dear husband how did you know that the baby was a girl because all of these things even the walls are pink."

Aditya walked around the bed and lied besides his daughter and said

"I don't know..I just..ahh..knew"

Meghna chuckled at his answer and asked

"What if it was a boy?"

Aditya looked at Meghna and shrugged

"I have no idea I guess we will have to take the other room then"

"But what about this room."

"This we could have used for our princess later."

Meghna frowned at him and said

"What do you mean? Didn't we plan that we will have only one child?"

Aditya scratched his neck and said

"Yes..we did but I wanted a daughter so I would have persuaded you for a second baby. But now that problem is solved because my princess is here. She saved her dad from her mumma's wrath. Right princess"

The baby giggled at Aditya and he cooed to her and nuzzled her cheek with his nose.

Meghna wanted to be angry with him for being so self centered but then she looked the dad daughter duo and she was a goner. If she wasn't in love with her husband already she would have fallen in love with him for sure. Looking at his smiling face she looked at God and thanked him for his amazing gift that was her loving husband and their family and now her angel.

A small tear rolled down her cheek when she remembered the day 3yrs back when she thought she had lost everything, the scene still brought goosebumps to her but she was more than glad that it was just a dream or rather a nightmare...

Meghna was brought out of her thoughts when a small knock graced their door.

And next a small 3 year old  chubby boy ran to Meghna and hugged her knees.

Meghna sat on the bed and hugged him tightly and kissed his temple and said

"I missed you...Suraj..how is my baby.."

The boy kissed both her cheeks and said

"I missed you..too..bali(badi)..ma, I wantel(wanted) to meet my sistter but mumma told babies are not allowed in hospital. "

"Oh..my baby..come here I will introduce you to your little sister. "

Suraj was three year old son of Sumeet and Shruthi. Who they had named after Aditya as they wanted their son to be like Aditya, responsible and caring.

Shruthi ran behind him into their room and said

"Sorry Meghna I was getting his milk when he ran inside your room sorry I will take him. The baby must be sleepy. And he may hurt the baby she is too small. I will bring him later when she is awake."

Meghna glared at her and said

"Comeon Shruthi he is her big brother and she is anyways awake "

Both of them turned towards the children when they saw that suraj loving caressed her cheek and she held his finger and giggled along with her brother.

Aditya who was besides the children on the bed kissed suraj's cheek and then moved towards the baby and was about to kiss her cheek when suraj beat him to it.

"She is too small don't kiss her. Dadi said not to touch her many times. She will get all your..jerms..and get ill"

All if them giggled and shruthi came near him and said

"Baby its germs and not jerms"

Suraj cutely pouted at his mother and said

"Okay..but nobody touches her..alright"

Aditya pulled his cheek and said

"And what about you..just now touched her right. "

"I am small right. I have small hands than you all and have less jerm..ahh..germs so and also I have washed my hands"

Aditya pulled suraj towards him and and soundly kissed his cheek and said

"Yes..my baby you are right she will never be hurt till the time she has such a caring and loving brother"

"Yes she has the most loving brother just like me"

Cheerful voice of sakshi boomed in.

Sakshi walked in along with Sumeet and Rohan tagging behind her carrying both of herone and half year old twin kids Rashi and Rohit.

As she was herself a twin biologically the chances of her having twins was high and Sakshi and Rohan where more than happy to know that she was carrying twins during her pregnancy.

Sakshi walked towards Meghna and said

"Congrats mommy..sorry was really busy with this kids couldn't visit you in the hospital"

Meghna smiled at her and said

"It's alright. "

They played with the baby for a while and then left the baby and her mumma alone so that they could rest.

In the evening all of them gathered in Aditya and Meghna's room and were bickering over the name of the baby.

"Adu I will name our baby"

Aditya looked at her and said

"Meghna come on I already have a name for her and I am her father even I have the right to name her"

Meghna frowned at him and said

"Even I have a name and I carried her for nine months and I went through labour for hour. I deserve to name her"

Sakshi, shruthi, Supriya and Meghna's mother backed Meghna as they also felt mother deserved to name the baby as she goes through all the hardships for the baby.

Where as all the male members backed Aditya as they felt the baby's father also deserves to name the baby as they have to go through the wrath of their wives to keep them happy. Taking in all their mood swings and cravings.

All of a sudden all of them started bickering over it and the baby woke up and room roared with her cries. The fight dies down and after Meghna patted her the baby slept again peacefully. 

Aditya turned to Meghna and said

"See even she wants her dad to name her?"

Meghna glared at him and said

"And how do you know that?"

Aditya smiled at her and said

"She lives me more you see..her likes I are just like me. For example you hate chocolate right but you craved for chocolates and chocolate ice creams the most. See she is just like me and don't forget and brought chocolate ice cream for you are 2am. Come on for doing this atleat I must get to name her"

Meghna frowned at him and said

"Adu...I hate chocolates but just because of her I ate tonnes of chocolate more than I ever had in my whole life uptil now. So I deserve to name her for going through so much."

Both of them didn't back down and stared at each other.

And then sakshi said

"Okay both of you. Calm down just tell your names for the baby we will vote and decide which name will be good for her"

Aditya smirked at Meghna and said

"Varsha..as in rain and relating to Meghna which means rain cloud."

Sumeet immediately frowned and said

"You can't name her that?"

Everyone gave him a questioning look and then he continued

"We want to name our daughter as Varsha so that we can name her after Meghna.."

Everybody turned towards shruthi and expectantly waited for her to confirm the news but she shrieked and beat sumeet and said

"No...I am not pregnant we had decided that if we had a daughter we will name her that. So if we have one after few years we will name her Varsha."

Meghna mouthed a small thank you to them and said

"Now that the name is taken. It is decided that her name will be the one I which have decided"

Aditya gave a fake sad smile and said

"Okay but what's the name?"

Meghna smirked at him and said. "That you will know on her naming ceremony. "

Everybody tried to get the name from Meghna but she successfully hide from all of them till the naming ceremony.

After 11days of the baby's birth the naming ceremony took place after all the rituals Meghna was asked to whisper the name in the baby's ear.

Meghna bent over the crib and whispered her name thrice and then loudly announced it..
"Aarushi"
"Which means the first ray of sun (Aditya)..as in his first baby"

Everybody clapped and congratulated her for such an thoughtful and amazing name.

Aditya stood near the crib. His back was to Meghna and she couldn't see his face and couldn't know whether he like the name or not so she walked towards him and said

"Adu didn't you like the name?"

Aditya turned around with glassy eyes and just said

"Meghna I love you."

He couldn't express his happiness right now.

After all the rituals were over Aditya and Meghna went up to their room and lied on their sides facing their sleeping angel between them.

Meghna was about to sleep off with all the tiredness of the ceremony and still the post pregnancy weakness when she felt a little kiss on her forehead and Aditya whispered in low voice without disturbing their sleeping Aarushi
Happy birthday to you..
Happy birthday to you..
Happy birthday to dear Meghna..
Happy birthday to you..

After he sang the song. They both leaned on their elbows and Aditya gave her a gift and said

"Happy birthday dear wifey..love you.."

Meghna kissed his cheek and said

"Thank you so much..I just forgot about it completely with Aaru and her routine. And love you too."

Aditya leaned forward and kissed her cheek and said

"Your most welcome and I know she takes up all your time and let me tell you, you may not be a perfect mother but you are surely the best. Now open the gift its from me and princess.."

Meghna sat up and while opening the wrapper teasing said

"By the way how is my pet name Aaru for her.??"

Aditya kissed Aarushi's cheek and said

"You call her whatever you want I am gonna call her princess."

Meghna chuckled at his reaction and opened the gift and already fell in love with it.

It was a platinum chain with a heart pendant which was openable and it contained their photos. One was of Aditya and Meghna and the other one was of Aditya Meghna and Aarushi.

Meghna smiled at him with glassy eyes and said

"Adu this is awesome just perfect"

Aditya smiled at her and said

"I guess you can thank me with something else.Like a kiss or something"

Meghna blushed even after 3yrs of marriage Aditya's comments and even his touch made her shiver with anticipation.  Meghna smiled at him and leaned forward to kiss him when suddenly the room was filled with ever attention demanding voice of princess Aarushi.

Aditya leaned forward and kept his forehead on Meghna's forehead and said

"See she is so possessive she doesn't want her father's attention to be shared. "

Meghna beat him and leaned over Aarushi and at the same time Aditya leaned from the other side and they kissed her either of her cheek.

And she immediately smiled at them.

And both of their hearts swelled with joy and pure bliss.

And they said

"Our baby..our heart beat..

Heart beat of our

Loving hearts♥"
