First day after marriage!!

Meghna woke up to her alarm ringing in background. She felt different she missed her parents a lot but somewhere down the line she was happy being here right now...

With chirping of birds and the a single ray of sun entering through corners of the pulled curtains brought a small smile to her lips.

That smile was not only because of the birds and sun rays.

But was also because of a hand layed across her waist possessively weighing her down and a tickling soft stream of breath in the crooks of her neck.

She was layed on Aditya's left arm with her back towards him with his right arm and leg sprawled over her and his face in the crooks of her neck.

She slowly tried to free herself from his tight hold so that she could switch off her alarm without waking him up. But as soon as she moved Aditya pulled her towards him with his right hand and pulled her phone with his left hand and switched off her alarm.

Meghna shrieked but it was cut off when Aditya pecked her cheek and said

"Good morning!!! Wifey!!"

Meghna turned in his arms so that she could face him and immediately pecked on his nose tip and replied with a huge smile

"Morning my dearest hubby!!"

Aditya smiled at her and asked

"So how does it feel to be in new surrounding?"

Meghna smiled at him and said
"All of days and nights
Were spent thinking about you
All of my dreams have come true..
Now that I am with you.."

Aditya smiled at her and gave a small kiss on her lips.

Meghna kissed him back. Meghna had this strange feeling in the pit of her stomach. She didn't have words to explain it. Last night's kiss was just a blur because she was so shocked and escatic about it that she didn't even  words to explain it. And right now it was just a simple kiss still she had butterflies in her stomach.

Slowly they parted and blushing

Meghna was about to get up when Aditya pulled her back and rolled them with Aditya laying over Meghna with his elbows resting on either side of her saving her from crushing beneath him.

Aditya glared at Meghna and said

"Where do you think you are going?"

Meghna accusingly looked and him and said

"Adu..come on we need to get ready and leave for temple.."

Aditya was about to leave her when something caught his attention and he pulled her back and said

"One minute what did you just call me?"

Meghna looked at him when suddenly realisation dawned on her that she had called him Adu instead of Adi.

Meghna was about to say sorry when suddenly Aditya pecked her lips and took Meghna by surprise.

And then said

"Meghna from now on you will call me Adu and not Adi..it will be your love name for me.."

Meghna smiled at him and pecked his cheek and said

"Okay..now get up otherwise we will be late..and I don't want to be late on my first day as a bahu.."

Aditya bent down and nibbled her ear lobe and whispered

"we could share the bathroom and save time you know.."

Saying this he winked at her and rolled and layed on his back besides her.

Meghna was in a trance for a minute and the scenes of the previous night, their first kiss clouded her thoughts and warmed her cheeks.

She looked at him still blushing at his comment. Aditya warmly smiled at her and said

"Don't worry..I was just teasing you. We won't get to anything you aren't comfortable with."

Meghna pecked his cheek and was about to get down from the bed when she remembered what she was wearing. She immediately turned towards Aditya and said

"Adu can you please call sakshi and get the pass key for opening my bag. I need my cloths."

Saying this Meghna again went under covers still feeling uncomfortable with his gaze on her.

Aditya took Meghna's phone which was nearest to him and called Sakshi.

Sakshi received the call and before Aditya could say anything she started speaking

"So how was your..first night with your husband hann ???"

Before she could embarrass him further Aditya cleared his throat and said

"Apparently her husband is your elder brother and is right now on this phone call"

Sakshi covered her eyes with her hands and said

"Sorry..bhai I thought it was Meghna.."

Aditya chuckled at her reaction and said

"Okay chuck it..actually I called to ask where are the cupboard keys and what's the pass key for Meghna's suitcase.?"

Sakshi wickedly smiled that their planned had worked and they didn't figure out where the keys were.

"Bhai..the pass key for her suitcase is 143 and the keys for your book shelf and cupboard are inside the suitcase"

Before Aditya could say anything Sakshi ended the call fearing his words.

Aditya turned towards Meghna and said

"Its 143 and the keys are inside your bag."

Meghna smiled at him and said

"Okay get the keys and you freshen up first then I will use the washroom."

Aditya looked at her questioningly and then realised she was uncomfortable to walk around in those cloths. So he reluctantly walked towards her bag and kneeled infront of it. He scrolled the digits and opened the suitcase and the first thing which caught his attention was a photo frame which had a picture of her with her parents and dadi.

Aditya pulled the frame out of the bag and kept it on the bed side table.

Meghna looked at him in surprise and just gave him a teary smile. Aditya returned a heart warming smile and took the keys and walked towards his cupboard and took a fresh set of cloths and walked towards the bathroom to freshen up.

As soon as Aditya walked in Meghna jumped out of bed to change in some decent clothes atleast wearing a pyjama to cover her legs would atleast give her peace of mind.

Just when she was about to reach her bag, Aditya suddenly walked out of the bathroom.

Meghna stood their dead in her tracks and closed her eyes
Like a cat closes her eyes while drinking milk thinking if she closes her eyes nobody could see her.. ;)

Aditya chuckled at her reaction and walked past her towards his cupboard and pulled out a towel and walked towards the bathroom, he leaned on the bathroom door and said

"You can open your eyes I just came to get my towel.. "

Meghna nervously opened her eyes and was about to turn around when Aditya peaked out of the door and said

"By the way sexy legs..haan.."

Saying this he closed the door. Meghna stood their shocked unable to react, just something churned in the pit of her stomach with his comment. And a blush appeared on her cheeks.

After an hour both of them finally walked out of the room dressed in pure indian attire.

Meghna wore a beautiful navy blue saree and a small pearl necklace with her mangalsutr and sindoor. Aditya wore a sky blue kurta along a with a dashing smile ;)

As soon as they came out everyone in their family started teasing them. And after a embarrassing chat show they visited their kuldevi mandir.

Aditya Meghna did a small puja and after taking blessings from their elders they returned home.

As soon as they reached home Meghna was asked to perform the next puja which was chula pujan.

Supriya, Sakshi and Shruthi accompanied Meghna to the kitchen.

Sakshi sat on the kitchen table and said

"So Meghna which sweet dish are you gonna make?"

Before Meghna could answer Supriya said

"Aditya and Meghna both like kheer so Meghna you prepare kheer."

Meghna smiled at her and after doing a small puja started preparing kheer.

Sakshi, Shruthi and Supriya went to attend their relatives.

After 30 minutes finally the kheer was ready.

Meghna along with Supriya went to the small mandir in their house and offered the first bowl of kheer to god.

After that Meghna served the kheer to all the relatives. Everyone appreciated it and gave shagun for her first rasoi.

After that they both were asked to sit besides each other and arti was done and after that Aditya's aunty said

"Aditya take this plate it is filled with rice grains you will have to write Meghna'a new name in it."

Aditya furrowed his eyebrows and said

"New name..why does she need a new name?"

His aunty tauntingly said

"She is starting a new life so she must get a new name. We all had our names changed only Shruthi didn't the only reason behind it was we didn't get time to get through these rituals. Now come on write a new name. You can't write her current name. okay!"

Meghna's smile vanished. Her name was her identity for past 24 years how could she change her identity. She was unaware of this custom otherwise she would talked to Supriya about this.

But now it was too late. She couldn't oppose it now and hurt everyone. So she just kept quite.

Aditya turned towards his mother asking her for her help. He didn't want Meghna's name change.

Supriya noticed both Aditya and Meghna's condition and said

"Adi we just have to keep a name as a tradition it isn't compulsory to use that name. See like my name was kept Aditi as your father's name is Adesh but nobody calls me by this name. It's just a tradition.

Aditya looked at Meghna. Meghna gave him a reassuring smile.

Aditya smiled at her and was about to write her new name when Suddenly supriya said

"Adi wait first we will cover your hand and this plate with this cloth and then you write her name."

Then his hand and plate were cover and he started writing. After writing her name. Everyone started guessing her new name.

Meghna was the least interested person right now. She felt sad that for tradition or what so ever her name was going to be changed, Which had been so special to her especially its meaning that is rain providing cloud.

After guessing for about 15 minutes when nobody could guess it. Sakshi said

"Come on now reveal it.."

Aditya slowly opened the cover an said

"Like sky is incomplete without sun, moon and stars its also incomplete without her.."

Meghna was shocked to see her new name. A small tear escaped her eyes. Everybody smiled at her new name and said

"Nice name adi well done but isn't it similar to her previous name I thought you will name her something similar to your name."

{Okay okay I know you want to know her new name..come one guess it..
Hmmm..
Come on..
Okay..fine her new name was..}
MEGHA

Which also means rain bearing cloud.

Meghna silently mouthed a thank you to Aditya.

Aditya just warmly smiled her and said

"I love her name and I don't want to change her name so nobody is gonna use her new name okay"

"Okay.."

Everybody sang in unison. They all teased him saying that how he loves her and her name and etc. Etc.

After all the small rituals were over it was lunch time. After lunch all girls went to Meghna and Aditya's room to get ready for the reception.

Reception

Meghna wore a beautiful off white ankle length gown. Aditya wore a beautiful black tux.

Both looked absolutely stunning in their attire.

Meghna was escatic when she met her parents. But couldn't spend time with them as guest had already started arriving.

All the guests came up on stage and greeted them and clicked pictures with the bride and groom.

After about hours of greetings anf well wishes. Aditya and Meghna along with their families returned home afrer dropping their relatives at airports and railway stations. 

Finally the wedding ceremonies were over after the pagphera

All the wedding rituals would come to an end.

Meghna and Aditya were lying on their bed in each others arms when Meghna said

"Aditya tomorrow we will leave for our honeymoon right please tell me where we are going I need to sort out clothes..please."

Aditya smirked at her and said

"Meghna by tomorrow evening you will come to know okay."

Meghna just shrugged and turned away from him and slept with her back to him.

Aditya chuckled at her reaction and pulled her against him and kissed on her cheek and said

"Good night!! My wifey!!"

Meghna smiled to herself it was impossible to be angry Aditya.

Just a small smile and she woukd be a goner.

She sighed and said

"Good night!!"

In the morning they dressed up and took there luggage and after bidding their family members their farewell. They went to Meghna's house.

As soon as they reached her house though she had met her parents at the reception last night she hugged them tightly and a few drops of tears ran down her cheek.

After the pagphera rasam was over Aditya and Meghna started off to airport for their honeymoon with the destination being still a surprise for Meghna.

As soon as they reached airport Aditya asked Meghna to sit and he went up and check them in and brought their boarding pass.

After he came back and took her to the departure gates and finally gave her the boarding pass.

Which had the destination as
Delhi

As soon Meghna saw it. She questioningly looked at him.

Aditya gave her mischievous smile and said

"We are going to Delhi and from their we are going to board a flight to..Paris.. we will be going to Paris for our honeymoon as it is the most romantic place in the world."

Meghna's smile fell(if you don't remember the reason check out chapter no. Future vacation plans).

But immediately she faked a smile so that Aditya wouldn't be upset with her reaction.

Aditya looked at Meghna and realised that her smile and fallen when he mentioned Paris and he immediately thanked god...
