Meghna was a nervous wreck right now, all the rituals for the day were now over but now realisation slowly started drowning that now she was now Mrs. Meghna Aditya K.

She had anticipated their wedding night to be special but right now standing on the threshold of it, she felt nervous and all sort of questions were running through her mind
Was she truly ready for this..step ahead...

Meghna was brought out of her thoughts when Supriya called for her and Aditya and said

"Adi Meghna.. me and your dad are going downstairs as all are relatives would leaving after your reception we have planned a slumber party for all the oldies. And all your cousins along with Shruthi and Sumeet are going to stay at Sakshi and Rohan's house. So the whole house is to you both.. so enjoy!!"

She said this winking at Aditya and Meghna. Meghna went red with her comment and Aditya just slyly smiled at his parents.

After they left Meghna and Aditya walked towards their room in utter silence both of them didn't knew what was to be said right now.

Teasing each other for this was a very different thing and now facing each other as husband wife was way different thing.

As they reached their room they were stopped by Sakshi and rest of the gang.

Sakshi held the door and said

"Bhai if you want to enter your room you need to pay us other wise you both are going to spend your night in leaving room I guess!!"

Aditya stared at Sakshi and said

"Okay you stay here, me and Meghna will use dad and mom's room"

He was about to turn when Sumeet stood behind him and placed his elbow on Aditya's shoulder and dangled a set of keys in front of him and said

"Bhai..bad luck all the rooms have been locked now you can't use any of the rooms and all the bedsheets and mattresses are in those rooms so living in drawing room is also not an option now.."

Amongst all this Meghna stood there head down, nervous as hell rolling the corner of her saree pallu.

Aditya rolled his eyes at Sumeet and said

"Okay both of us are going to a hotel"

Rohan pulled him into a side hug and said

"Oohhoo..desperate much haann.."

Meghna silently gasped at that and just stared at the beautiful white flooring.

Aditya glared at him and gave up. He was too nervous about talking to Meghna that now arguing with them felt like too tideous job for him.

"So Sakshi what do you guys want?"

All of them just cheered and hified each other and finally sakshi spoke for all of them

"Okay bhai we want per person 5000 rs."

Aditya stared at her

"Sakshi do you think I am Kuber or something?  You are totally 8 people here that makes it 40 thousand rupees. And what makes you think that I am gonna pay it."

Sakshi said

"The fact that your newly wedded wife is standing on the door step of your room on your wedding night makes me think that you are gonna pay it"

Sakshi's words suddenly made Aditya turn at Meghna and the way she was staring at the floor nervously rolling her saree pallu. Aditya knew she was surely gonna have a panic attack if they didn't talk soon.

Aditya turned towards Sakshi and said

"Okay..I will pay you but but but..I am just paying 10 thousand take it or leave it. Because then i think a hotel room would be better than entering this room."

All of them were arguing but shruthi noticed meghna's nervousness and elbowed sakshi and slowly whispered

"Sakshi cut this discussion...look at Meghna she is so nervous..please don't stretch this..she isn't comfortable right now."

Sakshi looked at Meghna and smiled
Her friend was really nervous..

Sakshi immediately turned towards Aditya and said

"Bhai..okay we will take 10 thousand"

Rest of them opposed this..but sakshi shruthi both glared at their husbands and the opposition died down.

After paying them Aditya went ahead with Sumeet and Rohan to the main door so that after the rest of them leave he could lock the door.

Sakshi and Shruthi waited the rest of them to leave and then Sakshi held Meghna hand and said

"Meghs calm down. Smile. And all the best.."

Sakshi said this and winked at her and walked ahead to leave but suddenly turned and said

"Pyaari Bhabhi, bhai ke bina andar mat jana..okay"

(Dear sister in law don't enter the room without bro..okay)

Meghna just glared at her and ignored her comment. She was too tensed and nervous to think anything.

After Aditya locked the main door, he leaned on the door and and nervously pulled his hair. And slowly walked towards Meghna.

As soon as he reached Meghna, he smile crept on his face looking at Meghna nervously strolling outside their room.
Their sounded strange but sweet to his own ears.

Aditya slowly stood behind her but she was so tensed that didn't even notice his presence behind her.

Aditya slowly held by her waist and suddenly lifted her up bridal style.

Meghna shrieked in horror but as soon as she saw Aditya's million dollar smile her nervousness flew out of the window.

Aditya slowly took her inside her room which was decorated with her favourite flower I.e purple and white orchids. Meghna was mesmerised by the beauty of the room.

Aditya slowly lead her down and without moving much locked the door behind him.

Listening to the metal locking, a shiver ran down Meghna's spine.

Before she could even react to it Aditya wrapped her hands around her from behind and rested his head over her shoulder.

Meghna shivered and stilled in his arms when his face touched her bare shoulder. Aditya sensed her stillness and said

"Meghna I told you right..my arms will be the only thing wrapped around you."

Listening to this Meghna's breathing hitched. She tried to freed herself from his arms but he slowly turned her around his arms so now she was face to face with him.

Meghna tried her level best to avoid eye contact with him. She knew him..he was her Aditya,  her friend, her fiance whom she knew for months but right now standing infront of him, she felt they were two strangers meeting for the first time.

The nervousness was back, she feared if she looked into his eyes right now she would definitely disappointe him because what he was expecting from her she wasn't ready for it. Rather she was not prepared for it.

Aditya placed his index finger under Meghna's chin and slowly made her look into her eyes.

Meghna immediately closed her eyes.

Aditya slowly kissed on her eye lids and Meghna was forced to open her eyes. Meghna shivered when she fluttered her eye lashes open as if dreading something.

Aditya smiled at her reaction and slowly dragged her towards the chair near the dressing table.  When she sat on it. Aditya kneeled in front of her and said

"Meghna relax. Breathe. I am not eating you."

Meghna looked straight into his eyes and glared at him.
She was so bloody nervous and this person had the nerve to joke at this point.

Aditya chuckled at her reaction.

Meghna was so furious she tried to stand up but Aditya immediately pulled her back and made her sit there itself.

Aditya pulled her cheek and said

"You are really very very sweet"

Meghna looked with disbelief.

Aditya smiled at her and in a serious tone said

"Meghna don't worry..we aren't gonna do anything which you aren't ready for.."

Meghna just stared at him him in wide eyed shock.

"Adi but you must have..."

Aditya cut her off and said

"Meghna don't worry I knew you wouldn't be ready for taking this step so I hadn't planned anything. So you don't need to worry about hurting me or anything. "

Meghna gave a weak smile and hesitantly said

"Adi...but..it's ou..our ahh.. wed..wedding night and it..is supposed to be special as it just comes in our life ...only..once.."

Aditya smiled at her and kissed her on her forehead and said

"Meghna this night is already has been made special. You entered our room as my bride, as my wife and as my better half. Your presence has made it special.

And for this night coming only once in our life. When you are by my side every night then every night would be special."

A lone tear spilled from Meghna's eyes as it rolled down her cheek Aditya immediately kissed it and slowly gave sweet and small kisses all over her face.

He slowly kissed her on the corner of her lips. Meghna stilled for a second and Aditya just stayed there not wanting to scare Meghna.

But Meghna's lips slowly curved upwards and this was the only sign Aditya required he was just inches away from her lips he slowly looked at her and her eyes were closed in anticipation.

He was about to kiss her when..
Aang lag re le..mohe aang laga le re..

Song started playing and Meghna and Aditya immediately pulled away.

Aditya ran a hand through his hair in frustration and Meghna stood up from the chair and turned towards the dressing table and leaned on it with her hands resting on the table. She tried calming her blasting heart rate and ragged breathing.

Aditya turned around and loudly sweared

"Sakshi..Rohan..Sumeet..Shruthi..I am definitely not gonna leave you guys. "

Then both of them started searching for the source of the song.

Aditya found the source it was sumeet's phone.

"Meghna here it is.."

Meghna walked near him. The phone was kept inside Aditya book shelf which had glass doors. Aditya tried to open it but failed. Then sighing loudly he went near his study table and searched for the keys and as expected the keys weren't there.

He looked at Meghna and looking at hus pouting face Meghna chuckled.

Aditya glared at her and said

"Stop laughing..you are laughing as if you could stop that alarm in the phone without opening the shelf."

Meghna questioningly rosed her eyebrows and said

"Challenging...me..are you??"

"Yes I am "

Meghna smirked at him and took her mobile from the side table and called on Sumeet's mobile as soon as the ring rang. The alarm went off. She immediately disconnected the call and smirked at Aditya. Aditya smirked at her and started walking towarda her. Every step he took forward she stepped back.

"Meghna don't you think you deserve a prize for stopping that nuisance. "

Meghna nervously walked back and stopped when her back came against the wooden surface of their wardrobe. 

Aditya smirked at her and kept both his hand on either side of her blocking her between him and the wardrobe. He leaned towards her determined to kiss her when
Bheegein hott tere pyaasa dil mera..

This song started playing. Aditya hit his hand on the wardrobe and Meghna started laughing. Right now the phone was inside the wardrobe and as expected the door was locked and now unlike the previous time they couldn't see whose phone it was so Aditya called on Rohan's phone and to his utter shock the bell started ringing under the pillow on the bed. Aditya took the phone and switched it off but the problem was still there the phone inside the waedrobe was still blasting.

Aditya called Sakshi's phone and lucky the phone inside the wardrobe went off.

Aditya then was about to call on shruthi's phone when Meghna snatched it and said

"Adi what are you doing Shruthi's phone won't be here. She is pregnant and mom has warned her to keep her phone near her so that god forbid incase of emergency she can call someone. So don't call her she must be sleeping by now."

Aditya gave her a tired smile and said

"Okay..now I hope the antakshari is over because I don't think my cousins will dare to keep their phones here only these for eleons can dare doing this. "

"Yes I agree..haaaa..*yawn*"

Aditya smiled at her and said

"We must sleep..we are tired with all the rituals and all and you are really looking very sleepy. And I guess I need to sleep in this(kurta and pyjamas) only because the wardrobes are locked and I am in no mood to search for the keys"

Meghna smiled at him and walked near her bag to get her clothes so that she could change. She bent down and kept the paper bags aside they weren't her's but she thought they must be some gifts from thr guests. She turned her bags and was shocked to see her bags locked.

Meghna checked all her bags and all were closed.Meghna turned towards Aditya in horror.

"Adi..my bags are locked.."

Aditya chucked at her and said

"I so expected them to do this..don't worry go get some dress from shruthi's cupboard."

Meghna glared at him and said

"I can't..don't you remember the rooms are locked."

Aditya stared at her he had no idea what had to be done. Suddenly his eyes fell on the paper bag and he said

"What's in those bags??"

"They must be gifts from the guests"

Aditya walked near her and said

"Weren't the gifts in mom dad's room then this must be from those four idiots.. you open it..tilk then I will freshen up and come.!"

Meghna immediately took the first bag. It had a small gift wrapped in golden gift paper and suddenly Meghna remembered she had to give it to Aditya for finding his name in her mehndi. She kept it under the pillow on the bed and immediately took the next bag and the content of the bag made her blush instantly.

"Meghna why are you blusing what happened.? What's in the bag.?"

Meghna was startled by his voice but then said

"Noth..ing use..ful..I guess I.. will sle..e..p in this only"

Her shudder didn't go unnoticed by Aditya.

He immediately sat besides her and took the bag from her hand. Meghna tried to avoid it but he was too quick.

Aditya opened the bag and looked at Meghna in disbelief it was a set of lingerie in it.

Meghna closed her eyes and said

"Adi your sister is really maaadddd"

Aditya chuckled at her and said

"Meghna you wear this your saree is too heavy. It would be very uncomfortable sleeping in this and anyways we woukd be under covers so don't worry go change. "

Meghna looked at him and she agreed with him and trusted him so finally took the bag with her and went to freshen up.

Aditya sat on bad and rested his head on the headrest waiting for Meghna.  He knew Meghna was uncomfortable wearing that type of clothes but he knew if he didn't make her wear she would be always uncomfortable wearing it. He decided he won't tease her over it to make her comfortable.

After a few minutes Meghna peaked through the washroom door and said

"Adi close your eyes till I am the under duvet. "

Aditya so wanted to tease her by making a naughty comment but decided against it. He obeyed her and closed his eyes.

"Okay I have closed my eyes you can come out."

"Pakka.."

"Aare..baba..pakka.."

Meghna slowly walked out keeping her eyes on Aditya.

And smiled at him loving that he had really obeyed her.

She really was feeling uncomfortable. But knew this was any time better than the heavy saree for sleeping that too after such a hectic day..

Meghna than walked near the bed and immediately went under the duvet and said

"Now open your eyes.."

Aditya smiled at her and said

"So now we can finally sleep."

Meghna immediately sat straight and said

"No we can't.."

Aditya naughtily smirks her and says

"Meghna do you want your prize..haann.."

Meghna bet him and said

"No baba you need to find your name in my mehndi and get this gift."

She pulled out the gift from under the pillow.

Aditya sat up straight and said

"And what if I don't find it you will not give me the gift ?"

Meghna looked at him for a second and said

"Okay take this gift first only..it's anyways yours but you will have to search your name"

Aditya took the gift and thanked her for it and opened.  It was an set of tie pin and cufflinks.

"it's too good..thank god it isn't a watch I have loads of them and on this birthday all of my friends coincidentally gave me watches. "

"I know so I bought this..okay now search your name."

Aditya made a face and tried to escape it but meghna held him and glared at him and he started searching for his name.

Aditya slowly and carefully started caressing her palm with his fingers. He was in such a daze of caressing her palm that the main moto of name searching was long forgotten.

As soon as Aditya held her hand for searching her name meghna closed her eyes. Though Aditya had held her before and they had hugged each other many times.

Under this romantic setting even his simple touch made her blush.

Aditya looked at her slowly to see whether only was he the only one affected or and he smiled seeing she was vigorously blusing.

Aditya closed the gap between them and whispered

"I guess I will search for my name later right now I guess I am busy with my wife."

Before meghna could process what he meant.

Aditya kissed on her lips. It was sweet, short and simple. It wasn't passionate it was simple just showing their love and affection towards each other and perfect as it was their first kiss.

Aditya slowly pulled away and pecked her and gave a small kiss on her forehead and said

"Now even our wedding night is special. Our first kiss..has made it special.."

Meghna blushed at it.

Aditya just hugged her and said

"Come let's sleep..tomorrow we have to go to temple as well and there are some rituals as well. So we need to be fresh and energetic for it. So let's sleep and my name is in the centre of your mehndi alternate to your name letters "

Meghna smiled at him and slowly kissed on his cheek and they both lied down and slept peacefully in each others arms dreaming about their future together.
Intimacy isn't just physical..
It's a act of connecting
With someone so deeply..
That you can see through
their soul...
