After Aditya and Meghna took blessings from their elders.

The photographer came forward and clicked their pictures in various poses and then all their cousins and friends came forward and took pictures with the newly wedded couple.

After a few clicks Aditya's mother asked all of them except Aditya and Meghna to vacate the stage as all the guests wished to come on the stage and bless the newly wed couple.

Meghna took supriya's permission and went off stage along with sakshi to do a little touch up as pics were going to be taken. And after a while she  came back walking a little awkwardly.

[I hope you know why she is awkwardly..if not wait..you will come to know ;)]

In the mean time as the rituals were over Aditya turned towards Rohan and Sumeet and said

" So Sumeet and Rohan..bring my shoes I will wear them now, the pictures wouldn't look good with the groom being bare foot."

Sumeet smiled and Aditya and said

" bhai both if us need a big treat alright we defended your shoes well.."

Aditya gave him a *we..will..see* look and said

"okay but first bring them here if at all they are there"

He said looking at meghna who was walking with so much distress that till now Aditya knew his pockets would be empty till he reaches home.

Till the time Meghna reached on stage Sumeet ran back huffing and said

"Sorry bhai...your. shoes..."

Aditya glared at him and completed for him

"ARE MISSING...and I am gonna kill you both for this..or better pay for my shoes you two.."

Rohan raised his hands in surrender and said

"Excuse me..it's your wedding, your shoes, your sister in laws you pay them why should we?"

Aditya held rohan by his arm and said

"Because you two were supposed to save them.."

Before he could speak further all of meghna's cousins and friends were on stage surrounding them.
Joota chupaai..and bargaining...

Aditya and Meghna were made to sit on the royal wedding chairs specially kept for the bride and groom.

Aditya's cousin's and friends encircled them from Aditya's side and meghna's cousins and friends from her side.

Sakshi sat on the handle of the chair between Meghna and Aditya and said

"So bhai..found your shoes or need our help"

Aditya glared and said

"You traitor.."

Sakshi and all of meghna's friends and cousins chuckled at it, sakshi then said

"Bhai..bad luck meghna promised me a earring set for getting your shoes for her sisters"

Aditya raised and eyebrow and said

"Okay I will give you a diamond set get me back my shoes"

Sakshi ran a hand over his cheek in sympathy and said

"Its to late bhai..the deal is sealed"

Aditya finally turned towards meghna's cousins and said

" what will you take in return of my shoes?"

"50000" "diamond earrings" "branded shoes" "trip to hawaai" "branded clothes"

Everybody shouted at a time.

Sakshi shushed them and said

" bhai 50000 Rs. Not a penny more nor less"

Rohan and sumeet instantly shouted

"50000 Rs. Are you girls gone mad..For shoes worth not more than 2000 Rs. You are asking 50000"

Sakshi walked infront of them and held their collars and each hand and said

"Losers.."

Rohan glared at her but Sakshi didn't back down and said

"We don't force him to pay..he may not pay and can lose his pride by standing bare foor infront of the crowd..what will the crowd think that the groom can't even pay for his shoes...shay!!"

Aditya glared at Rohan and sumeet and said

"Okay sakshi I am ready to pay but not more than five thousand"

Sakshi chuckled at it and said

" are you at fashion street"

(its a street in Mumbai were you get all type of clothes at a cheap rate but the key here is bargaining)

Aditya gave a tired look

"Okay 10K not more than that"

Sakshi turned towards Meghna's cousins who nodded their headed negating the offer.

"No atleast 25k..bhai..common"

Till the time Aditya could speak anything all of Aditya's and meghna's supporters started bickering over the offer.

As they were busy in their fight Aditya turned towards Meghna and said

"Common meghna help me.."

Meghna chuckled at him and said

"it's between you and them. I am not involved"

Aditya raused his eyebrows and leaned towards her and whispered in her ear so only she could hear it

"Really...You aren't involved...then why are you wearing my shoes..??"

Meghna was shocked...her mouth was open..

Aditya raised her chin with her finger and said

"Close your mouth..flies would go in..and I surely don't want to taste them tonight"

Meghna suddenly was brought out of shock state by his comment.

She hit him on his arm but he held her arm and again whispered

"Meghna I was planning to tell you our honeymoon destination but I guess you aren't interested.. if you give back my shoes I would have told you right now"

"Bad deal adi..if you don't pay them I guess you will have to enjoy your honeymoon alone.."

Aditya gave her a shocked look like she had a minute ago at which meghna mocked him and said

"Adi close your mouth even I don't want my first kiss with flies"

Saying this she winked at him and turned towards sakshi.

Aditya looked at her in wide eyed shock..

His simple, quite meghna was right now being fisty and bold.

Aditya chuckled at his own thought and turned towards sakshi and said

"So what's the final price.."

Sakshi gave him a amused look and said

"You were here right so how come you don't know the final bargain..?"

Aditya scratched his neck and sheepishly eyed meghna who was profusely blushing till now.

A loud "ahemmm" went around and then sakshi said

"Okay love birds..continue this lovey dovey stuff later first pay 15k and get back his shoes"

Aditya tried to bargain more but finally had to pay 15 thousand rs.

After that supriya asked them to complete the kalira ritual so that after the guests could meet the bride and groom.

Meghna stood on the edge of the stage and all her unmarried cousins and friends stood below the stage. Meghna vigorously shook her hands and waited for the kaliras to fall. Finally the kaliras fell and Meghna was mist excited to see that it fell on her friend and that was latika (Latika02 ) .

After that all the guests walked on stage and blessed the couple and greeted them with good luck and best wishes.

After that it was time for dinner.

At the dinner table everybody forced Aditya and Meghna to feed each other.

Later even asked them to simultaneously bite a ladoo.

First they declined it but after a lot of pestering agreed to it.

After they had it. Alot of teasing followed.

After the dinner..it was now time for the toughest part of the wedding and it was the bidaai.
Bidaai

Meghna walked out of the hall with her parents along side her.

Meghna tried hard to control her tears but as soon as she saw the doli (wooden chariot carried by men used in anchient for travelling by queens and princess)

She turned towards her father and asked

"You remembered it..?"

Meghna's father hugged her and with teary eyes replied

"Of course I do it was the first thing you asked for when you saw it at a wedding. "

"I was hardly 10 at that time..I thought you wouldn't take it seriously. "

Meghna's father chuckled at it and said

"Every wish of yours has been my command. And this the only thing you asked related to your wedding. You were so fascinated by the thought of sitting in it like a princess. That I had decided that I will surely bid you farewell on your wedding in a doli."

Meghna hugged him tightly and cried her heart out.

How was she gonna live without her parents?

Was the only thought going through her mind.

Then all her relatives came forward and hugged her and then it was time for her to leave.

Holding her hand her father and mother brought her towards the doli before making her sit in it. They turned towards Aditya and said

"Aditya we trust you with her happiness, safety and well being. We know you are the best husband we could get for her. Be with her always..and may god bless you both with happiness and prosperity."

Aditya hugged her father and said

"She has been your princess for 24 years of her life and from now on she will be my queen for rest of our life"

Her parents smiled at him and then they made meghna sit in the doli and then the doli was lifted and taken towards Aditya's well decorated car which was waiting outside the hall premise.

Meghna then got down from her doli and then throwed puffed rice over her head in waiting pallu of her mother and aunts.  And for the final time that day hugged her parents and dadi and bid them farewell and started  a journey with her life partner towards her new life.

After the teary bidaai and a whole lot of crying session in the car, with loads of romantic movements with adi over soothing her they reached Aditya's oh...sorry..their house.

Grihapravesh

Supriya did their tilak and aarti and throwed rice grains over them and welcomed them Meghna in her new home.

Supriya asked meghna to push the kalash filled with rice grains with her toe inside the house slowly symbolising arrival of prosperity with new bride.

After that she was asked to soak her feet in the mixture of milk, alta & water. And was asked to walk over the white cloth symbolising arrival of goddess laxmi.

After the Grihapravesh they went to the small temole in their house and prayed after that supriya took meghna to her room and asked her change in a saree so that meghna could be free of that not so comfortable heavy lehenga.

Supriya gave her a off white half saree with red border which had simple golden work on it.

Meghna loved the saree. She immediately changed into it. She looked into the mirror and simpled to her self.

Before few hours she was just a daughter a girl. And now she was Mrs. Meghna Aditya K., A married women. She slowly caressed her mangalsutr and sindoor and smiled at the two prominent symbol of her marriage.

After a while supriya came in and took meghna to the living room where all the young crowd was waiting for the bride to arrive so that they could start with the fun games.

As soon as meghna walked in the room Aditya choked on his saliva he couldn't believe his eyes his meghna was in his house as his wife and the mangalsutr and sindoor enhanced her beauty tenfold.

Though he didn't believe in tradition of strictly wearing mangalsutr and applying sindoor or something but right now his meghna looked awesome with it and this was the last thing in his mind.

Meghna and Aditya sat opposite each other and a big steel paraat (plate with deep base) (check out the media for picture) was placed between them it contained milk and rose petals.

Shruthi kneeled near them and said

"Bhai and meghna both of you know this game its called find the ring..you both will have three chance you will have to find the ring and the one who gets it for the maximum times wins and will rule the other in their married life "

Then the game was started first time meghna won and the second time meghna didn't try to search it and aditya won the second round and in the final round aditya found the ring and realised that meghna wasn't trying to search it. So he took the ring and pushed it towards her when she didn't pick it he held the ring and along with meghna's fingers lifted it up and said

"We both found it.."

Everyone teased them that how they helped each other and all.

After that supriya covered meghna head with a red dupatta and then muh dikhai ceremony was started all the married women came forward blessed her and gave her gifts.

After that all the guests left for the houses and hotels.

Only the young crowd that is Aditya's cousin's along with fab four (sakshi, rohan, sumeet and shruthi) were loitering around Aditya and Meghna's room.

Needless to say all of them had a bag full of surprises for Aditya and Meghna on their special night....
