Meghna and Aditya were currently sitting in the lawn outside the hall were the sangeet ceremony was going to be held.

Apparently all their friends and family members were busy planning a surprise for Meghna so Aditya was asked to take Meghna out for some time.

Aditya saw Meghna fidgeting with the corner of her dupatta. And a small smile crept on his face, again nervous ;)

Aditya knew the whole wedding things were making her nervous. She was going to leave her family and come to his house after a day ofcourse she would be nervous.

First Aditya thought he would talk to her about it but then he knew that talking to her would make her feel weak.

So he tried a new approach

Aditya turned towards her and said

"So Meghna all set to make my life hell??"

Meghna was startled by his question but immediately glared at him and said

" so I am gonna make your life hell..haannn"

Aditya laughed at her fuming face and side hugged her and said

"No...sweetypie..."

Meghna cut him off and asked

"Adi can we go in I am a bit cold..by the way why are we outside..?"

Aditya wrapped his hand around her and pulled her towards him and said

"Now is it better.."

Meghna snuggled him and said

"This definitely feels better.."

She was cut off by the sound of someone clearing their throat.

Meghna immediately pulled away from him and stood up.

Aditya reluctantly let go of her and followed Meghna's suit.

Sakshi and Shruthi were standing their crossing their arms.

Sakshi teasingly said

"Shruthi somebody is being impatient. Tell them to wait for 1 day and they could officially...you know.."

Aditya gave sakshi a glare but immediately smirked looking at Meghna when he saw her blusing like there was no tomorrow.

Finally after a brief teasing session Aditya and Meghna were taken inside the hall.

Meghna was made to sit on a small chair in between alk the women's she was shocked because she wasn't informed about this ceremony.

She gave sakshi a questioning look and before she could ask Sakshi said

"Meghna this called Kelvan(kind of farewell party). All your friends and relatives will gift you something and will bless you for a happy married life. Actually the bride to be is called to each of their relatives house for lunch and dinner and there this ritual takes place but now a days due to constraint of time all the relatives and friends gather together and Kelvan takes place. Now let start the function Meghna's aunts came forward and put tilak on her forehead and did her arti and then gave a gifts. And then Sakshi came forward and said

"Now everybody settle down we will start with The Sangeet Ceremony!!"

Everybody took their place. Meghna and Aditya went on stage as they were asked to sit in the corner of the stage.

As everybody settled down

Shruthi and Sumeet walked on stage and Shruthi started

"Hello..everyone welcome to the sangeet ceremony of our beloved Aditya bhai and Meghna. So lets start with performances.

First up is the performance by Meghna cute little cousins.

They performed on
Shubharamb..(kai poche)

After a big round of applause.

Shruthi came up and announced

"Now All Aditya's bhai brothers have a special surprise for him and sumeet along with their cousin brother walked on stage and the song started playing
Chote chote bhaiyon ke bade bhaiya aaj banenge kisike saiyan..(hum saath saath hain)

Till the end of the performance aditya was on sumeet's and his cousin's shoulder while they danced on the last bit of the song.

A huge round of appreciation was received by them by the crowd.

Then after shruthi announced the next performance

"Now guys get ready for an amazing performance by Meghna's friends latika, sadhika, kritika and sakshi.

As they took their position the song was played
Nagada sang dhol baje (Ramleela)

After their excellent performance.

The lights went off.

And a short film was played through a projector

And in background the song was played
Nagmein hain..(Yaadein)

The ppt displayed meghna's various pictures from the time she was born.

The first slide showed the oic were meghna's mother held her in her arms which was meghna's first pictures as it was taken in a Hospital room.

The next slide showed meghna being swinged by her father and meghna's face depicted pureof pure joy. Slowly tears started forming in her eyes.

The next slide had a photo of meghna all set to go for her school.

The next slides contained photos of meghna at various competitions at various ages.

The next photo was of her, aditya and their parents from her engagement.

The next picture of was of her and her father. When she was being fed by her father two days back when she had applied mehndi.

That picture broke something inside meghna and suddenly she realised that she was going to leave her family in a day's time. And the dam broke she was now crying and aditya held her by her shoulder. And then her parents walked on stage and her father and said with a heavy sob filled voice

"Meghna...*sob* we love you baby..you will always be our small little angel who brought the happiest days in our lives. We know Aditya and his family will always keep you happy but always remember never feel alone *he pointes towards him and her mother and continued* because these two souls on earth only live for you..

Meghna ran towards them and hugged her mother and cried and then she turned towards her father and then she hugged her father and to her utter surprise her father lifted her up as much as he could and then twirled her around and revived meghna's childhood memory.

Aditya walked on stage and held Meghna's hand in one of his hands and with other took hands of her parents and joined their hands and said

"Mumma papa today you aren't giving away your only daughter..today you are receiving a son!! Don't worry Meghna was, is and always be a your daughter and angel. "

Saying this he hugged meghna's parents.

After a very very emotional scene shruthi walked on stage and asked All of meghna's brothers and uncles to come stage and as they walked on stage everyone started laughing

As they wore a lungi.

And then they started dancing on the song
Lungi dance lungi dance (chennai express)

And then all Aditya's male family membera also joined them and they had a blast.

After a few minutes all the aunts of meghna Aditya walked on stage and then they performed on
Navrai majhi ladachi (english vinglish)

Then all the ladies brought meghna on stage and then they danced around her.

Then after their performance rohan walked on stage and said

"Bahut ho gaye ye...emotional performances lets rock

And then they performed on

A fusion song

1. Dhating nach
2. Gandi baat
3. Saturday saturday
4. Besharmi ki heights

After that all of them joined them for their performance and again of the guest had a blast!!

And finally sumeet walked on stage and said now we have a special performance and then the lights went of

And then a tune of the guitar just brought a big smile on meghna's face
"Jab se tere naina..mere naino se lage re.(sawariya).."

Aditya's melodious voice echoed in the hall with the sweet notes of guitar..

And then after that performance aditya kneeled infront of meghna and asked her for a dance and then the slow romantic songs were played like
1.kabhi badal barse
2. Tumhi ho
3. Maan mast magan.

After their performance they had a blast dancing on various party songs!!

Slowly meghna whishepered in Aditya's ear

"Thanks for your awesome surprise be ready tonight you will have an awesome surprise as well!!"

She winked at him and walked away..
