Aditya was waiting outside Meghna's house as they were leaving for work. After about 5 minutes Meghna arrived and waving a bye to her dadi sat inside the car.

As soon as she sat Aditya said

"Good morning!! So finally you graced me with your presence"

Meghna glared at him and said

"ADI..you arrived 10 minutes early today..okay so I wasn't late!"

Aditya just nodded in agreement and started the car.

After they reached the main road Meghna suddenly spoke

"Adi we must inform our colleagues about our engagement..right?"

Aditya smiled at her and said

"Don't worry everything is been taken care off. I asked Rohan to get some sweets on his way to work. And also we will take them for a lunch treat tomorrow, today they must have brought their lunch..so tomorrow treat to our colleagues okay..madam.."

Saying this he gave her a salute.

Meghna just smiled at him.

Meghna was a bit nervous about her friend's reaction. She just wished that nobody treated her differently after knowing that she is marrying their boss.

Uptil now nobody in their office except Garima knew about their relation. Everybody knew that Meghna was Sakshi's best friend. So they thought that she had a good rapport with Aditya and Rohan. And that's the reason she travels with Aditya daily.

Meghna was brought out of her thoughts when the car halted in front of their office building.

Aditya and Meghna got down and boarded the elevator.

As soon as the elevator door opened on their floor. All of their colleagues shouted

"SURPRISE"

And within matter of seconds both Aditya and Meghna were covered in glitter and snow spray.

Everybody gathered around them and started congratulating them for their engagement.

Finally Garima and Rohan found their way between all of their excited colleagues and reached Aditya and Meghna.

As soon as Rohan saw Aditya, he raised his hands in surrender. Aditya glared at him. But before both could speak Garima spoke

"Congratulations AK..congrats Meghna" saying this she hugged Meghna. And then continued

"AK..Rohan sir didn't inform them actually Supriya mam informed me and I was so excited that I announced it. Sorry!! I ruined your surprise. "

Meghna immediately said

" Garima mam don't be sorry!! You all are happy for us..that's what matters. And what difference does it make who informed. Only the news and sharing its happiness with others matters..right!"

Garima warmly smiled at her and turned towards Aditya to know what his thoughts were and was happy when he gave her a reassuring smile.

After a little celebration and announcing about the lunch treat for the next day, everybody was back to their work.

At lunch time, Meghna was waiting for Aditya. Everyday Aditya would be the one calling everyone for lunch but today it was way past lunch time and still he wasn't out of his cabin. And Meghna knew there wasn't that much work that he needed to skip his lunch. Finally after waiting for 15 minutes Meghna knocked on Aditya's cabin door.

Aditya said a quick 'come in' and resumed his phone call.

As soon as he saw Meghna entering his cabin he immediately said "call you later" and hung up the call.

Aditya just raised his eyebrows and asked

"So, mam what can I do for you?"

Meghna just raised her left hand and pointed at her wrist watch. Aditya immediately checked his watch and was shocked to see that it was way past their lunch time.

He immediately stood up and walked near her and said

"Sorry..sorry I was busy with a call and just lost track of time."

"Its okay come lets go. I am dying with hunger."

Meghna was about to walk towards the door when he held her hand and said

"Meghna let's go out for lunch. See today we don't have to hide it from all them. "

Meghna gave him a sad smile and said

"Adi..no we can't go out for lunch..no way I am leaving office during office hours. "

Aditya pulled her towards him.

"Meghna come on yaar..I am the boss here and you are my fiance"

Meghna pulled her hand away from Aditya's tight grip and said

"Thats the point Adi you own this place not me. Its not fair on my part to skip work. I don't want them to think that I take undue advantage of being your fiancé"

Aditya didn't have a point to argue her on this. So he shrugged and started walking towards the door and when he was about to open it he turned towards her and said

"Come let's go..somebody said that she is dying with hunger so I don't want to be the reason for anybody's death so come.

And by the way be free at 8pm I want to have dinner with my fiance and I don't want any excuses then...is that clear Ms. Meghna."

Meghna smiled at him and said

"Aay..aay..captain"

And gave him a salute.

Sakshi and Shruthi were at a mall shopping and roaming around. Apparently Shruthi was bored out of her wits sitting at home. And more because of the attention she was getting. Someone was constantly tagging behind her asking whether she was okay or whether she needed something. So she had asked Sakshi to accompany her for a small shopping day out.

Both were currently in the food court placing their orders. After placing their orders both sat down and suddenly shruthi asked

"Sakshi now tell me what's with bhai..his bike and his promise to mom??"

"Okay..so once upon a time.."

"Sakshi come to the main point. "

"Okay..okay..don't be cranky..god knows how sumeet handles you?"

Shruthi was about to cry..when Sakshi held her ears and said

"Shruthi..Please please don't cry I was just joking please don't cry..sumeet with kill me if he comes to know you cried because of me"

Shruthi started laughing and said

"See its so nice to be pregnant people listen to you so easily"

Sakshi glared at her and said

" okay fine..I am not telling you about the bike.."

"Sakshi....okay fine sorry..baba..tell"

Sakshi started laughing and said

"See I am not pregnant but people listen to me.

Okay..so let's start..

3 years ago bhai started his own firm and when he received his first income he gave it to mom and dad as a present. At that time bhai used to travel by train because he didn't like to use cars and nor he wanted a bike gifted by dad, he wanted to take a bike with his own money. So with the money he had gifted mom brought him a bike. He refused to take it but after mom's emotional blackmailing he couldn't refuse. And let me tell you he drives in super speed. In mom's words he is a rash driver. Okay..so.. After a month or so it was mom's 51st birthday. On mom's 50th birthday he was in abroad so we couldn't celebrate it in a grand way so he had decided that he would throw a grand party for mom. But that day he had an urgent work so had gone to office. while returning he had an accident."

Shruthi gave a questioning look and said

"What's with our family and accidents? "

Sakshi laughed at it and said

"God only knows. Okay so further. After the accident mom became paranoid and took a promise from him that he won't drive a bike ever in his life. Thanks to dad, mom didn't sell that bike, its in our basement. It's actually bhai's favourite bike because it's bought from his first income and that too a gift from mom. But mom and her biiiig promise. "

Shruthi gave a sad smile and said

"And what about meghna from what I remember she drove my scooty on the day we announced my pregnancy then..what promise were the talking about? "

Sakshi gave a tired look and said

"Actually mom has asked meghna not to drive a two wheeler when she is with bhai. Because he likes to drive fast and asks the other person to drive the same way and mom thinks that meghna will listen to bhai so she has asked meghna not to drive a two wheeler with bhai"

Shruthi starts laughing and says

"Really mom is paranoid about this"

"I know but can't help it.. she was so adamant on this that she didn't even listen to dad"

"Okay so let's just change the topic..so what are you gifting bhai on his bday..its day after tomorrow right?"

"Ya..actually Rohan and I had brought some kind of video game..Rohan said its imported and something god knows what's with boys and their games"

"Hmm..me and sumeet are planning to give him a wrist watch what say?"

"Ya good idea he likes them and has a huge collection god knows when he uses them but still has a obsession with watches"

"Okay so what are we planning for his birthday then?"

Shruthi asked enthusiastically.

Sakshi smiled at her and said.

"Actually Meghna said she has a surprise for him. So let's see and bhai doesn't like grand birthday parties he likes simple family dinner and a simple cake cutting that's it."

"Really..I didn't know that. Sumeet is way different than bhai..he likes partying calling people over for it and all"

"Ya I know..me and sumeet love parties and all but bhai is different he likes a private lunch or dinner than a party"

Shruthi smiled at sakshi and said

"Okay..so let's wait and see what surprise does Meghna have for him"

Aditya's birthday

Sharp at 12 am Aditya's phone rang. And a sweet voice sang

"Happy birthday to you.. happy birthday to you!!!"

"Thank you meghna"

And before he could say anything his mom, dad, sumeet and shruthi walked in

"Happy birthday...beta"

"Happy birthday...bhai"

Meghna heard them and said

"Adi enjoy with them I will see you in the morning..bye love you"

"Bye love you too"

Aditya took blessings from his parents and hugged sumeet. They all gave him his presents. As Aditya was busy receiving many phone calls from his friends. They all left after finally wishing him.

Rohan and sakshi also called him.

After all the phone calls and after replying to all the messages he slept with huge grin on his face. In the morning he was woken by a loud banging on his bedroom door.

He rubbed his eyes and reluctantly got out of bed and opened the door and suddenly someone hugged him.

And it was none other than sakshi..

"Happy birthday bhai.."

Sakshi shouted on top of her voice.

"Thanks sakshi"

Sakshi excitedly dragged him to the living room.

"Sakshi..wait let me freshen up first"

Aditya tried to stop her.

"Comeon bhai..Meghna has been waiting for you from past one hour."

Listening about meghna. Sakshi didn't have to drag him. He himself walked swiftly towards the living room.

As soon as Aditya saw Meghna he wanted to hug her but of course his whole family was sitting there.

Before both of them could speak sakshi said

"Come on meghna give him his gift..I am so eager to see what's his surprise is?"

Supriya glared at sakshi and said

"Its Aditya's birthday not your's"

Meghna smiled at sakshi and said "come let's go his present is waiting down stairs"

Saying this she took everybody with her downstairs and before getting down the elevator she tied a blind fold on Aditya's eyes.

And guided all of them towards his gift.

As soon as everyone saw the gift they had a huge smile on their face but all of their smiles except Meghna's smile dropped as soon as they saw supriya.

Aditya suddenly said

"Can I open my blind fold..don't forget its my gift..I also need to see it."

Meghna smiled and opened his blind fold.

It took him a minute to adjust to bright day light and then when he saw his gift he was about to smile when he remembered something and turned towards his mother..

Okay no need to guess it, it was his bike.

Before anybody could say anything supriya said

"Meghna I didn't expect this from you.."

Saying this supriya walked away.
