He received the call without looking at the caller id.

"Hello bhai..please come soon there is an emergency...I have texted you the address"

Sakshi spoke almost loosing her composure.

Aditya laughed at her and said

"Sakshi I am not meghna...so stop your overacting and tell me what is the real reason?"

Sakshi started crying hearing his response..

Aditya had a sinking feeling.. and sakshi's next words turned his world upside down.

"Bhai..I wish this was just a joke but it isn't...mom dad..are"

Saying this sakshi started sobbing.

Aditya lost his fumny demeanour completely and worriedly asked

"Sakshi...don't cry..What's the problem..?? Mom dad..what?"

Suddenly only ruffling sound could be heard from the other end. Aditya just went impatient by each passing second.

"Hello sakshi are you okay..what happened? ?"

Suddenly rohan replied from the other end.

"Adi please reach Bharat care hospital..immediately...mom dad's car was hit by a Innova..Ramesh dada admitted them to the hospital. You come as soon as possible. "

Aditya couldn't believe what he heard..his cell phone slipped out of his hands. He just sat there numb. He couldn't feel anything. His parents were his world. And suddenly his whole world was in danger.

Meghna was shocked to see Aditya's condition. She immediately picked his phone from the floor and asked the rohan what was the problem.

Listening to the reason of aditya's condition meghna just didn't know what to do..but she needed to be strong. Strong for aditya, sakshi , shruthi and sumeet. Right now her family needed her.

Meghna composed her self and held aditya's hand and said

"Aditya get up let's go. All of them need us there. Just be strong. Please get up."

Meghna wanted to hug him. Console him. But right now. More than a son..aditya needed to be a elder brother. So meghna held his hand and walked towards his car. Aditya was just as a robot he just couldn't gather his thoughts.

Meghna started the car and drove towards the hospital. Just praying to god that mom dad were safe.

As they reached hospital Aditya still was in denial. Meghna enquired at the reception desk about their family members and the next statement by the nurse brought aditya out of state of stock.

"Mam all three of your family members are admitted at the third floor. Mr. Adesh is in OT, Mrs. Supriya is in the trauma centre and mrs. Shruthi is in room no. 308 "

Meghna and aditya just made a mad rush towards the elevator. Rohan had informed them about mom dad then how come shruthi was also in hospital.

The elevator ride for them was maddening. 2 minutes ride felt like two life times all sorts of negative thoughts clouded they minds. Finally as the elevator dooe opened they ran towards the reception desk.

Before aditya could ask anything sakshi came running towards him and sobbed like there was no tomorrow.

"Bhai..mom *sob* dad..*sob*"

Aditya suddenly from a son suddenly became responsible brother. He needed to be strong.

He slowly caressed sakshi's hair and said

"Shhh...Sakshi stop crying everything is going to be alright.shh.. "

Meghna held sakshi by her arm and made her face herself and hugged her tightly.

"Meghna...shruthi..is ..also"

" sakshi..first calm down..and where is rohan..??"

As if on que rohan came near adi and before he could speak adi spoke

"Rohan tell me what happened..rohan..be quick and how come shruthi is in hospital and why didn't you tell me this when you called.."

Aditya almost yelled..

"Adi please calm down..actually mom dad went with ramesh dada for shopping. Shruthi was alone at home. She had a craving for some sweet so she called mom and asked her to bring it on their way home. As the shop was crowded ramesh dad offered to bring the sweets from the shop as mom dad were tired due to the whole shopping trip. They both were in the car when a innova driver lost control on his wheels and crashed into mom dad's car. Mom was on the side were the car was hit so she has more serious injuries and where as dad just got a few scars so he been taken to OT for stitching those. And about shruthi.."

Listening to all this sakshi again started sobbing. Meghna held close to her and asked

" what about shruthi..rohan??"

Rohan ran a hand through his hair and continued..

"Ramesh dada tried to call adi but his phone was switched off. He didn't know our office no... So he called sumeet and sakshi and also called home...shruthi was in balcony..when..she received the call..ahh..and due the news..her blood pressure shooted up and she fainted..luckily...one of the neighbours.. Had been talking to shruthi for a while so she noticed her and immediately called sumeet. Sumeet brought her to the hospital. When sakshi called you shruthi was not admitted here. Sumeet was on his way to the hospital when he received the neighbours call. He rushed back home and found shruthi unconscious. So he rushed her here."

Meghna stood up and asked

"How is shruthi and where is she?"

Sakshi composed herself a little and said

"Luckily when she fainted she fell on the near by swing in our balcony so she wasn't injured. The doctor said that due to her pregnancy..she had a panic attack listening to the news.. her blood pressure is under control now..the baby is also fine..just she needs complete bed rest for 5 days and then she will be fine.. she will be discharged in an hour or so..she is in that room"

Sakshi pointed at a room.

Aditya and meghna walked towards the room. Shruthi was asleep. Sumeet was just crying silently holding shruthi's hand.

Aditya just didn't know what to do..meghna held aditya's hand and gave him a nod..as if asking him to move..

Aditya...composed himself and kept a hand on sumeet's shoulder. Sumeet turned around and relief spread all over his face.

He hugged aditya and cried like a child.

"Bhai..*sob*"

"Sumeet everything is gonna be alright..mom dad are going to be fine and shruthi and the baby are also fine don't worry"

The nurse came in

"We need to take her for few test so we need to prep you all wait outside"

All three if them moved out, aditya and sumeet joined sakshi and rohan. Meghna walked little away from them and called her parents and asked them to come there.

Aditya paced in the corridor..worried sick..as the treatment was still going on no news was being given. The nurse had said that it would at least take an hour more.

Meghna's parents arrived sakshi held meghna's mother and started sobbing. And meghna's father consoled sumeet and tried to calm him him sown.

Rohan was out at the police station handling all the formalities. As it was an accident case.

Suddenly a nurse came and said

"Excuse me...mrs. shruthi's family. "

"Yes..I am her husband"

"Ohk..shruthi..is alright now and can be discharged..so you need to fill these documents"

Sumeet signed the documents and was about to leave to get shruthi when meghna's mother said

"Sumeet..we will take shruthi to our house..shruthi is stressed she needs someone..near her..at your house..some or the other thing will remind her of this incident. .lets keep her away from all this.."

Sumeet hesitated

"But aunty"

"Sumeet mumma is right..shruthi needs a mother figure right now..to take care of her..so please.."

Sumeet turned towards aditya to ask for his opinion..

Aditya patted his back and nodded in agreement.

Then aditya walked towards sakshi and made her stand and said

"Sumeet you take sakshi also with you.."

Sakshi tried to protest

"But bhai..mom dad"

"Sakshi..me meghna and papa are here..rohan will be here in few hours..we will inform you ad soon as the dr. Informs..go with them..right now..shruthi needs you"

Sakshi nodded and hugged him.

Sumeet wheeled shruthi on a wheelchair.

Aditya and meghna walked towards her.

Seeing aditya shruthi started crying.

"Bhai I am sorry because of me mom dad are in this condition if..I wouldn't have asked them to bring sweets they would have been home at that time"

Aditya and meghna kneeled infront of shruthi and meghna hugged shruthi and aditya

said

"Shruthi its not at all your fault. Please don't blame yourself. And please don't cry and stress your self..its not good for the baby and when mom dad come home they will be angry at you that you didn't lookafter their grandchild so..take care..and don't worry everything is gonna be alright. "

After they left rohan arrived in a short while.

"Rohan whats the scenario..."

Adiyya asked outraged..at the innova driver.

"Adi..the innova driver has admitted his mistake..and is pleading that we back out our case he is ready to pay for the damages.."

Aditya glared at rohan..

"What he is going to pay for damages...what..damages..really then..he has to pay for my sister's tears..my brother's fear of loosing his parents, wife and unborn child..my parents pain..can his money take away my parents pain..no...no..no.."

Aditya banged his hands on the wall..

Meghna ran towards him to hold him but stopped mid way

"Rohan his money can't pay for my family's pains..so I don't need his..bloody..money..I want him behind bars..he needs to understand his money can't buy everything. "

Rohan held aditya's arm and made him sit on a near by bench.

Rohan knew Aditya to well whenever aditya needed to hide his insecurities or fear..he would...pull on a angry facade..so that nobody could reach his..insides..which was...torn..he always..wanted to be a best son..an ideal elder brother..he nevr expressed his worries openly...Rohan had tried several times in past to get him open up to him..but always..aditya would draw a wall between...as if..somebody would make fun of him..

Rohan sat next to Aditya..and before rohan could say anything aditya said

"Sorry for lashing out on you rohan..sorry..and before you start..I am perfectly fine.."

Roham knew aditya already had drawn a wall and now nobody would be able to reach him.

He reluctantly walked towards meghna's father to give him some alone time.

In a few minutes meghna brought a tray of coffee and gave a cup each to rohan and her father. And slowly walked towards Aditya.

Meghna knew Aditya was broken but kept himself strong for his siblings.

Aditya was sitting holding his face in his palms and leaning his elbows on his legs.

Meghna kneeled infront of Aditya and held his hand.

Aditya didn't move just said

"Meghna I am alright..please leave me alone.."

Meghna just pulled his hand away from face. Aditya irritetdly pulled his hand away and glared at Meghna.

Meghna stared him back..

As aditya stared at Meghna's eyes..his eyes softened.

It was as if a cloud cleared from his eyes.. at that point meghna felt as if she could see through aditya..

Meghna hugged aditya..with all her might..aditya didn't respond. .but Meghna's touch suddenly broke something inside him..something he never wanted to break....a wall which he had created..which had hidden his fear and insecurities.

Aditya felt as if a weight was being lift off him. Suddenly a dam broke..

A tear rolled down from aditya's eyes. And then he cried..cried..and cried...he sobbed like a child.

At that moment he wasn't a elder brother..

he was just a child..a child..whose parents where struggling with death.

A boy who feared losing his parents.

A person who feared being alone.

And suddenly meghna' embrace gave him security and more over gave him.. strength to fight..

He then realised that he didn't need to hide anything from her...because she not only had his heart but right now she had entered his soul...
