Finally it was the day..Aditya was going to get clearance order from the bank..regarding his loan. Aditya was a nervous wreck. He had planned a surprise for Meghna and n number of thoughts were running in his mind..what if something goes wrong with the clearance procedure? ..he didn't want to wait even for a day to make Meghna his...

On the other hand Meghna was excited finally it was the day Aditya would be free from his burden. But she was nervous because she had to inform her parents about Aditya and her relationship. she was tensed because she didn't know how she was going to explain their relation to her parents and their earlier rejections had already complicated the whole situation.

It was noon and still the clearance was not received...aditya was moving around his cabin like a pendulum. He just wanted that letter which was the biggest obstacle between Meghna and him. meghna knew aditya would be worried about the clearance order so she went to his cabin...Aditya was so engrossed in his thoughts that he didn't knew when Meghna entered his cabin. looking at his condition...Meghna couldn't stiffle a laugh. hearing her laughter he smiled and later faked a frown...Meghna's laughter increased seeing his fake frown. To teach her lesson he held her hand and pulled her towards him..and as she was unaware she came crashing down to his chest...as he slipped his hand towards her waist to close the remaining gap between them...her laughter was over powered by her ragged breathing...aditya slowly blew air on her neck and slowly whispered

"few hours to go then you will be mine..then I won't leave you"

Meghna was so engrossed in enjoying his close proximity that she didn't understand the meaning of his words..she realised it when she felt a cold fluke of air hit her..that he was no were near her..and she instantly missed his touch...she slowly glanced at him..he was sitting on the edge of his desk grinning from ear to ear...she gave him a sly smile and ran towards the cabin door...as she was about to open the door and leave she turned around and said

"and I will surely wait for that moment"

before Aditya could react to her words she ran out of his cabin..feeling happy...aditya was so impatient that he just wanted to hold her in his arms and proclaim his undying love to her. he irritatingly ran his fingers through his hair...

"oh god plz send the order quickly...."

At 4 pm..Rohan entered Aditya's cabin with a dull face..Aditya was so excited to see him that he missed the sad expression on his face..he said

"hey rohan you got the order right..I am so happy" and hugged him tight.

"hey adi I am sorry I have a bad news the bank had some technical difficulty so it couldn't process the clearance order and it would take atleast a week to process it.."

aditya was so shocked

"it can't happen..no..I can't wait for another..week..oh god why are you testing my patience??"

he frustratingly ran his hands through his hair..at the very moment meghna knocked and entered his cabin. Looking at him she didn't dare to ask him what was wrong...instead she turned to Rohan and asked

"what's wrong with him? is everything alright?"

Rohan smiled at her and said "the bank didn't give the clearance order" and handed over the letter he was holding to meghna and he slowly walked away. Meghna was confused if it was a bad news then why was he smiling she slowly opened the letter and tears strung her eyes...she glanced at Aditya who was staring at the floor..she ran towards him and hugged him tightly... Aditya was surprised at first because Meghna never initiated their hugs..he hugged her tightly and said

"sorry we will have to wait for a week more.."

Meghna slowly released him from her tight hold and handed him the letter...

aditya couldn't believe his eyes...

"is it real...oh god we got the clearance order...yipeee"

he pulled meghna for a bone crushing hug and when he released her he picked her up and spun her around..meghna was crying because she was ecstatic seeing aditya so relieved and happy...

Finally the knock on the door brought them back to their senses..aditya quickly lead meghna down.. Meghna quickly adjusted her looks..then Aditya asked the person to come in....it was Garima...

Looking at them she knew...they both must have cried...but she was happy that they were happy tears..

"congratulations sir..rohan sir informed everybody that you received the clearance order..so sir everybody is waiting for you in the cafeteria for the celebration..."

Aditya smiled and said.

"thanks Garima...you take meghna with you I need to make some very urgent calls I will be there in few minutes..you guys go ahead..."

Meghna smiled at him and started walking towards the door..she knew he would call his parents to inform them about the clearance order.

after Meghna and Garima left, Aditya locked the door...and called his father and informed him about the clearance..he congratulated him and told him how proud he felt of him...about building his own career from scratch..aditya after talking to his father called his mother

"mom I received the clearance order...the loan is been paid off...I am so happy..."

"congrats adi...I am so happy for you beta (son)..when are you coming home? come home soon we will celebrate.."

"ofcourse we will celebrate mom...but before that I want to tell you something and I need a favour from you..."

At the cafeteria everybody congratulated meghna for her successful execution of plan...within few moments...Aditya joined them..everybody started congratulating him..he thanked everybody for their support...

then Aditya's eyes fell on Rohan who was busy talking animatedly to someone on his phone..aditya silently stood behind him and patted his shoulder....rohan turned and said

"adi..."

he quickly disconnected the call..and started running around the hall..because he knew aditya would bit the $**t out of him for joking with him on such a serious matter..aditya without wasting any time started running behind him...as rohan was running around a crowded cafeteria he dashed with one of his colleagues and aditya held him by his neck and asked

"rohan you will never get over your jokes will you?" rohan smiled at him and hugged him

"oh god adi congratulations. ...I am so happy for you....but still your face was worth a million dollar then" saying this he started laughing visualising Aditya's frustrated face. Aditya gave up he joined his hands in front of rohan and said

"I give up you are impossible...."

after that they proceeded towards the cake which his employees had brought for him..it was his favourite cake flavour Dutch truffle ..he thanked everybody...and cut the cake. he took the first slice and held it in front of rohan...rohan held his hand and gestured him to feed meghna first because she was the reason for his happiness as this insane proposal was proposed by her but he didn't budge.. rohan sighing ate the first slice and when he was about to feed him he said he would eat it later...aditya asked everybody to help themselves with the cake and walked towards the counter and said

"raju did you bring the thing I told you"

"yes sir here it is..."

he handed him a bag..

"thanks raju..what are you waiting for go and have that cake"

"sir its ok let them have it they are your colleagues and I am just a helper"

"ohh is that so then you must be less happy than them for my success are you?"

"no sir its not that"

"then go and celebrate..this party is for people who are happy for me and for those who helped me in being happy..and you are both"

he smiled at him and walked away...

Meghna was busy chatting with karishma and garima when she received a text message from aditya...

"come to my cabin...quick...urgent"

Meghna glanced around but aditya was no were to be seen so she excused herself and went to his cabin..

As she entered his cabin aditya pulled her inside and locked the door...he held her in his arms and said

"thank you meghna for being the reason for my happiness..no sorry not my..our happiness" she smiled at him..with glistening eyes...

he released her and made her seat on the couch in his cabin and went towards his desk and brought a bag and a slice of cake which was at the party...he kneeled in front of the couch and opened the bag....meghna was surprised looking at it....

"you remember it..."

was the only thing she could manage to say...he held her hand and took a knife and slowly cut the pineapple pastry

(yes its a pastry and what did you think..hahaha...)

in two parts and fed her the slice..she took the truffle cake and fed him...

"I thought you didn't remember that I hate chocolate cakes"...

meghna said digging in on her pastry. .

aditya smiled looking at her and said

"oh I thought you caught my surprise when I fed rohan first.."

"what you fed rohan first because I don't eat a chocolate cake thats rude I thought you fed him because he is your best friend"

"if it was any other cake I would have fed you first even at first I thought that I would feed you first but then you would have accepted it only because I gave it to you..I don't want you to do anything which you don't like"

Meghna smiled at him him and pulled his cheeks

"you are sooo sweeet"

"really meghna sweeter than this pastry...but wait you didn't taste me yet..then how would you know that I am sweet"

meghna glared at him..aditya started laughing looking at her mortified expression

"aditya....you have totally lost it"

she said while blushing and got up to leave before he could embarrass her more...

before she could move away aditya pulled her and as he was kneeling down by the force she was pulled..both of them collasped on the floor with meghna on top of aditya....

both of them were so lost in each others eyes...that they forgot that they were in such a awkward position..finally meghna gathered her thoughts and said

"we must leave everybody must be waiting for you"

as she tried to get up..aditya tightened his hold on her and said..

"Meghna I am going to tell everyone to take a early leave...you also leave with them and wait for me in the parking lot okay"

she was losing her senses by his hold...her breathing was ragged...she just nodded her head and slowly tried to ease his hold...he immediately left her and helped her to get up...they both joined the party nobody seemed to notice their absense as they were busy celebrating. Aditya asked for everybody's attention and declared

"everyone you can take a early leave today..." everybody thanked him and started leaving...

after everybody left aditya made a rush towards the parking lot and a smile crept his face when he saw meghna waiting for him.

he went near her and unlocked his car and opened the passenger seat door for her...she smiled at him and sat inside the car...he came around and started the car..

after a while meghna realised that they were not on their usual road towards their home so she enquired him

"where are we going?"

"its a surprise for you.."

meghna smiled at him and didn't ask him any further questions because she didn't want to ruin her surprise...after a while Aditya gave Meghna a silk cloth and asked her to fasten it around her eyes...meghna was hesitant at first but later gave in to his persistence...after around 30 mins the car came to a halt...Aditya got out of the car and helped meghna...after a two mins walk he slowly removed her blind fold...meghna was shocked to see the view in front of her eyes....it was a perfect view...a setting sun that was getting into the water (thats right getting in to the water...they were on a private beach)

"oh god aditya this is amazing...I love beaches...and I love to see a sunset...on a beach thank you so much...I love your surprise..."

aditya smiled at her and knelt in front of her on one knee she was so busy admiring the sun that she didn't see him going on his knees...and holding a ring in his hands only when she heard his voice she turned "and I love you"

Meghna was paralysed...was he really...on his knee..and did he proclaim his love or was she dreaming...

"Meghna I know..I hurt you when I rejected you...I also know that you surely desired a better person than me but I don't know I couldn't think of you with any other person except me....if you would have walked out of my life I don't know how I would have survived because you have stolen my heart and soul and now that you have stolen my heart would you like to steal my surname too "

Meghna had tears in her eyes she had never thought that somebody would make her feel this special....she wanted to shout on top of her voice that yes she would surely wants to share his surname...but she couldn't say it...how could she say it she hadn't talked to her parents and they were the most important people in her life how could she take such a important decision of her life without informing them....thinking about it she started crying what was she going to do now the most important people in her life would be hurt because of her...if she says yes to aditya then her parents would be hurt if she says no to aditya and asks him wait for her till she talks to her parents he would agree but would be upset on a occasion like this when he is meant to be happy....meghna was brought out of her thoughts by a smiling aditya who was still kneeling down but held a phone in his hand... with shaking hands she took the phone...

"hello meghna its mumma here...aditya has resent his proposal for you..his mother is at our house...she told me that you both like each other...is that true meghna...if its so then do you want us to proceed with this proposal beta?.."

Meghna didn't know how to react to it she was so happy that she had the best people around her who loved her so much..her parents who didn't question her decision and were ready to do anything for her happiness and there was aditya who without saying knew the importance of her parents in her life...

she smiled and looked at aditya and answered both Aditya's and her mother's question simultaneously

"yes mumma I want to marry him"

aditya smiled at her and slipped the ring in her finger and then gradually stood up and hugged her tightly...as if his life dependent on it...

Meghna's mother congratulated her and hanged up the phone.

Meghna hugged him tightly and thanked him for understanding her so well..in return he kissed her forehead...

Meghna and Aditya stood there admiring the setting sun...Meghna had only one thought though the sun was setting but in her life her sun(aditya is a synonym for sun in hindi..) had already risen..

Meghna raised her head from Aditya's chest and said

"I am finally yours"
