I ran to my room and got ready . I didn't want to be all fancy in case it was just a friend thing. So I just put on black jegings , a white and grey flannel , black boots that came up to my knees , and just a simple necklace.
Heather : alright I look good but not flashy and not under dressed ..... Just right
I sneak outside to Max singing " Weenie Butt " .
Heather : hey Max
Max : hey Heather ready to go?
Heather : yeah I'm ready !

I blush but get in his car as we drive to Five Guys and order food . We sit down and start eating when he starts popping questions .
Max : so Heather what's your middle name ?
Heather : oh it's Nicole , Heather Nicole
Max : that's pretty ..... What's your favorite food ?
Heather : hmmm ....... I would have to say burgers
Max : well I'm so smart for bringing you here I need a round of applause!!
I start clapping and laughing a little . He keeps asking me question until he pops a certain question .
Max : so ..... Are you single ?
Heather : ............ Yes I am single but I just got out of a relationship
Max : oh alright

We were back at Adams house and I got out of his car but he grabbed my wrist I look at him getting a little scared since my old boyfriend beat me .

We smile and laugh while we talk about the date .
The next day at the office
I'm outside the office it's really sunny and I'm texting Barney on my phone about random things with him saying random things when I suddenly feel someone behind me . I slowly turn around and see a man who holds fear in my heart , a man that makes me quiver with fear , a man that makes me beg God to take me away , a man I wished I'd never see again .
