It's the day of the ball! I'm very excited since we're all going to take a break from school and start our Christmas break. I'm now fixing my dress robes in front of the mirror in my room. I looked pretty good, to be honest. And I couldn't wait to see how Rose would look like. She was a very beautiful girl, but I can only imagine her wearing a nice dress, and all that beauty was mine. She was the love of my life, and she loved me too.

"Hey, Scorpius, you ready?" Albus asked as he opened the door in my room.

"Yeah, I'm all set." I said as I combed my hair one last time before going out of my room.

"Wait, who are you going with, Al?" I asked when I realized that he was holding a bouqet of flowers.

"Uhh...w-well I-I'm just...I'm just going..." He stuttered and I laughed, and before I could say anything else to him, Randy came and patted Al on the back.

"He's going with Alice Longbottom." Randy said and Albus blushed, and he pushed Randy's hand away from him.

"Aww, I knew you had a thing for her." I teased Al and he looked ate with a pitiful look.

"Tell me something, Scorpius, how did you get Rose to like you? Or love you even?" He asked me hopefully and I thought about it for a moment.

"Well, Rose and I...it just kinda happened. I'm not sure how she learned to like me, or even love me, but what I do know is that you have to make the girl happy. Make her feel content when she's with you, make her feel loved when she's with you. You also have to learn that loving can hurt. But the point is, you cannot give up on her so easily."

"Thanks, Scorpius."

~time skip~

We had reached the Great Hall and I was waiting for Rose to arrive. I was sweating a little; last year's party was disastrous because when I was dancing, my partner got switched to Rose, and because of how nervous I was, I stepped on her foot multiple times. She decided to yell and say what I was doing, and everyone laughed at me. I was very embarassed, so I took a seat and watched as everyone else were having a good time.

"There's your girl, Scorp." I heard Albus say.

I turned around and looked at the entrance of the Great Hall, and sure enough, I saw my beautiful Rose walking towards me.

"Wow, Scorpius. I know I said I don't like her anymore, but I envy you somehow." Randy was looking at Rose as he said this and I laughed.

By the time I stopped laughing, Rose was right in front of me.

"Hello, beautiful." I said, smirking, and kissed her.

"Scorp, not right now." She pulled away and giggled.

"Sorry, why don't we go and dance?"

"Sure."

We went into the Great Hall and I took her hands in mine, while we both swayed to the music. I looked at her beautiful brown eyes, her rosy cheeks, and her pink lips. She was looking genuinely happy, and I was happy too.

"Scorp?" She suddenly whispered.

"Yes?"

"When will our parents know about us?"

"I don't--maybe when we get off the train tomorrow for Christmas break?"

"Okay." She smiled.

When the song was ending, I leaned in slowly, before I brought my lips to hers. This night was definitely a night to remember. I felt pure bliss, happiness, and love. She kissed me back, full of passion, and our lips move in sync. This was definitely a long kiss, and as much as I may have wanted to kiss her like this, I didn't want us to be the center of attention.

"Rose." I pulled away, and she looked at me in dissappointment.

"We should go somewhere more private." She nodded, seeing the number of people watching us, then I pulled her away from the Great Hall.

I decided to go to the Astronomy Tower with her. It was the place I used to go to whenever I felt sad or angry.

As we reached the top of the tower, we went near the edge and held on the railing, while looking at the stars up above. They were all shining brightly, and there was a full moon. I looked at Rose, who was standing beside me, and noticed that her eyes were twinkling. She put her head on my shoulder and sighed.

"The stars look so beautiful doesn't it?" She told me while looking at the stars.

"They are." I replied, but I was looking at Rose instead of the stars.

"You're not even looking!"

"I can already see a beautiful view in you."

She blushed and hit my chest playfully.

I kissed her again, and this time no one else was there. She wrapped her arms around my neck, and then went up to my hair, while mine were holding onto her waist. I suddenly felt the zipper of her dress, but we weren't ready for anything else yet. Kissing was as far as it went. And I was glad.

"I love you, Rose." I told her once we both pulled away and put our foreheads against each other.

"I love you, Scorpius."

A/N: Sorry I took long, again, to update this story. As always, I have been busy with school, and I'm also writing a new story, it's called "Falling For Your Brother", and it's basically a story about a girl named Cassie Skyler who starts to have feelings towards her best friend's brother, named Tom Howers, and it will show how much the two will develop and start something with each other, though there will be problems across the way. Anyways, those are the reasons why I haven't updated in a long time, and I'll try my best to update as much as possible on both books.
