After all that happened, me and Rose sit back on the picnic cloth and continue eating our sandwiches in complete silence, and after we both finished and drink up our water, I fix the picnic cloth and take the basket with me. We walk back into the school and Rose kissed me on the cheek and told me that she'll be going to get her things ready. 

I walk back to my common room but as soon as I come in, I see a brunette girl sitting on the couch facing the fireplace. She turns around once she hears my footsteps and crosses her arms on her chest.

"So, where have you been?" She asks me in a serious voice. I glare at her.

"That," I start, now folding my own arms against my chest, "is none of your business," I answer in an irritated tone. 

"Oh, Scorpius, it's obvious that you were hanging out with that Half-blood Weasley girl," she tells me in a lower voice.

I give her an angry glare and say, "Alright, fine. I was hanging out with my girlfriend, Rose." I smirk at her and she frowns.

"Ugh, whatever. You two will break up eventually anyway," she tells me and storms up the stairs and into the prefect girl's bedroom.

"Wow. As if we would even break up," I say when she's upstairs. I check my watch and I still have about an hour before my free period's over.

I went upstairs and into my room. I take my alarm clock and set an alarm 10 minutes before the time that I'm supposed to go to my first class for today, which was Potions. I remove my shoes and lay down on my bed and I fall asleep.

I hear some ringing from around my room. I look around and find my alarm clock, and I realize that I have Potions. I turned off my alarm clock and checked my watch, I still have 10 minutes before my free period is over. I get off my bed and put my shoes back on. I went to the bathroom to fix myself up since I had fallen asleep wearing my uniform. I check myself in the mirror and notice that my tie is almost going to fall off, so I fixed it. I smoothed out my robes and fixed my hair before getting out the bathroom and taking my things. I go downstairs and I'm about to get out the common room before someone blocks the exit.

"Jenneth, get out of the way," I say angrily at her. She smirks.

"Not until you promise to break up with Weasley." I fold my arms and I tell her, "You can't force me into breaking up with her. She's the girl I want to be with and I'm the guy that she wants to be with," she laughs at my response.

"Whatever. It's not like you'll last long anyway." And with that she moves away from the exit. I sigh before going out of the common room and making my way to the Potions classroom. I open the door and I realize that there are no students there yet, only Professor Thruss.

"Oh, hello, Mr. Malfoy, I see you're a bit early," he smiles at me and I smile back.

"Yes, sir. I just couldn't wait to start my classes."

"Well then take a seat and take out your notebook, ink, and quill. Since it's your first day I'll just be writing some rules and you will copy them."

I take a seat and then take out my notebook, ink, and quill. I wait for everyone else to come in, and soon enough Rose comes in with Albus. She smiles at me and I gesture at the empty seat next to me, trying to tell her to seat next to me. She understands what I'm trying to say and she walks towards me. She then takes the seat next to me and I tell her, "Rose, you might want to take out your notebook, ink, and quill. Professor Thruss said that he'll be writing down rules and we're going to copy them."

She takes out her things and now me, Rose, and Albus are waiting for the other students. A few minutes later everyone else comes in and Professor Thruss says in a cheerful tone, "Right, well. Everyone is here already, right? Okay, so welcome to your first day of Potions class. Now, for today we will not be talking about any potions but instead I will just write down some rules and you will copy them on your notebook. Please take out your notebook, ink, and quill and start writing." Professor Thruss turns away from us and starts writing on the chalkboard, and everyone else takes out their things. We all start writing and when we were done, he started discussing the rules that he just wrote on the board.
