A/N:This is my first story guys. Please don't judge me if I'm not that good at writing this story. I'll try to update as much as possible, if I have time. Also I do not own the characters to this story,they all belong to J.K. Rowling,the author of Harry Potter itself, but the storyline is mine. Enjoy!

I was waiting around in platform 9 and 3/4 with my parents and my brother, Hugo, for the Hogwarts Express to come in. We got here 10 minutes earlier than the said time for the Hogwarts Express to come in, but my mother insisted to come here at least 10 minutes earlier so we wouldn't be late. I was going to start my fifth year at Hogwarts, while my brother was staring his third year. The whole time I was waiting for the train to come in, my mind remembered a certain memory that happened during the summer. Something that made me keep smiling the whole time I was waiting.

3 weeks earlier...

So there I was, sitting on the couch at the Burrow while reading a book. It was just another typical summer day, staying here at the Burrow, reading a book, it was all just normal. But there's one thing I didn't like about summer, and that was having to spend it with a certain Scorpius Malfoy. Yeah, that's right, Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy, son of Draco Malfoy and Astoria Greengrass, spending his summer with me. Though I know that his father isn't a bad man and his mother died already, I couldn't help but be mean to him sometimes, I don't even know why.

"Rose."

That's when I notice someone call my name. I look up from my book to see none other than, Scorpius Malfoy.
"Malfoy. What do you want?" I say with an irritated tone in my voice. I don't even know why I have to talk like that. Geez, Rose, at least just be nice to him.

I notice him sigh before answering my question, "Rose there's something I have to tell you..."
"What is it?" I ask, now getting curious at what he has to say.
"Rose, I don't know how to say this, but I..."
"You what?" I say, now standing up and putting the book on the couch.
"I...like you."

We both stare at each other for a few moments, before Scorpius breaks the silence by saying, "Rose, please say something...anything?"

I still remain silent. I don't know what to say, does Scorpius actually like me? Or is he just playing some joke on me? I think he's joking, but if he was, wouldn't he already be laughing? I look away from him and I start to walk away, but then he grabs my hands and pulls me to him. I was just about to pull my hand away from his, but it was too late. Before I knew it, he leaned down and kissed me.

I don't know what to do. Should I pull away? What if someone sees us? Oh god, no, that can't happen! I was just about to pull away when suddenly he holds my waist, and I can't help but feel comfortable when he holds me. And that's when I realize that I can't resist him anymore, I melt into the kiss completely and even kiss him back. Just a few seconds later  he pulls away and smirks at me, and I can't help but blush and smile up at him.

"So, does that mean you like me, too?" He asks me with a smile and plays with my hair.

And that's when I realize something. The first time I met him I found him physically attractive, but I let that thought get out of my head when I realized who he was. Now here I am, letting that thought come back to me. He is still as handsome and attractive as ever.

Wait, do I seriously LIKE Scorpius? He was the guy who I thought I hated, and yet when he kissed me I didn't even pull away from him and I kissed him back. Maybe I do like Scorpius.

"I think so?" I answer, confused.

He just laughs at me and kisses me on the cheeck, and then he whispered something in my ear, "So what do you say we go on a date, huh? Just you and me."

Once again, I blush, before answering his question, "Ummmmm...well I guess that would--"
I stop talking when I realize that someone was watching us the whole time. I thought for sure everyone was outside, but I was wrong. My cousin, Albus, also the best friend of Scorpius, has seen everything.

"Albus!" I call out to him before walking away from Scorpius and towards my cousin.
"Don't worry, I knew something like this would happen already since I knew that Scorpius likes you. And I also promise not to tell anyone, okay?" He smiles at me and I hug him, and then I tell him " Thank you" and he walks towards the door and outside to where everyone else is.

"You were saying?" He looks at me again and smiles at me.
"Yes." I answer in a cheerful tone. He kisses my cheek again and we both go outside where everyone else is.

And when I finally get out of my own thoughts, I can see Scorpius walking right pass me and he smiles at me. I smile back at him, but my dad glared at his father. Scorpius immediately stops smiling when he sees my dad, and he walks faster away from me.
