Third Person POV

"So you two made up?" Lily asked Rose after she had told her and Maya what happened earlier that day.
"Yeah. I mean, I guess I was overreacting a bit when Scorpius kissed Jenneth, but I believed him when he said he drank a love potion."
"I told you so." Maya tried to hold back a laugh because she was right about Rose forgiving Scorpius and getting back with him that easily.
"Yeah, whatever, so Lily, how's Lorcan? I heard you two have started--"
Someone comes barging into their bedroom and the three girls are all shocked to see Jenneth Zabini in their bedroom.
"Well well, if it isn't Jealous Zabini." Rose snapped at Jenneth and her eyes look like their filled up with pure rage.
"You are one little crappy, ugly girl aren't you?" She answered back at Rose, trying to make her lose her temper. Unluckily for Jenneth, she failed.
"If I was ugly then why did Scorpius come to me instead of you? If I was crappy then why did he choose me?"
It's those words that makes Jenneth lose her temper, and without hesitation, she went up to Rose and started to pull her hair.
"I hate you so much! You are ugly and you are stealing Scorpius from me! If only you had known what he was to me--"
"What he was to you? Are you saying that you two had some sort of connection? Did you really think that? You are such a bloody idiot. You shouldn't be relying on one guy, you should get over him if he doesn't want you. You have to learn that life won't give you everything that you want!"
"But it always has. I'd gotten everything I wanted except for the guy I love--"
"Get over him, Jenneth! You're hurting people just because of one boy! More importantly, you are hurting yourself." Jenneth had finally let go of Rose's hair as she comprehended what she had told her.
She finally understood. What Rose had said was true. She thought about it, about moving on from Scorpius. Then, she decides to speak up.
"You're right. I'm so sorry, Weas--Rose. I'm so sorry."
"Jenneth, you know, you were my friend, too. Remember? Our first year, we were so close. But then third year came in and all of a sudden you stopped talking to me. What happened? What changed?"
Jenneth had started to sob at this point. She remembered her first year. Her first ever friend at Hogwarts was Rose. They were so close, but as third year came in, there had been rumors spread that Scorpius liked Rose, and because she liked Scorpius, jealousy filled her up. She stayed away from Rose and stopped talking to her.
"Third year. There were so many rumors of Scorpius liking you and it turned out to be true. I was so jealous. I was so mad. So I stayed away from you and basically became one of your enemies here at this school."
Lily and Maya's mouths both open wide, shocked to know that Rose and Jenneth stopped being friends because of jealousy.
Rose comforts Jenneth by hugging her, and Jenneth sobs into her shoulder.
"Shh..."
"You're not mad?"
"I forgive you." Rose pulls away from Jenneth and wipes out a tear coming out from Jenneth's eye.
"Can we still be friends? I miss you, Jen. Just move on from Scorpius and it'll feel like nothing's happened."
"I've always wanted to still be friends with you. But you know what jealousy can do to a person."
"It'll be fine, you could even stay here if you want. Talk to us girls here with privacy, there's only 4 of us here. You could even stay at my prefects bedroom."
"N-no, I'll stay here for a while but I'll leave later."
"Okay, so Lily, about you and Lorcan?"
"Oh! I've wanted to tell you guys, me and Lorcan started going on dates. Specifically going to Hogsmeade every weekend ever since the first Saturday of the month." Lily tells in excitement as the tension in the room has finally eased.
"I'm so happy for you two." Rose said with a grin on her face.
"We aren't even dating yet." Lily raises her eyebrows at Rose.
"Well, since I've been good at guessing at what would happen to Scorpius and Rose's relationship, I think I'm a good matchmaker of our group. So, Lily, I predict that you and Lorcan will start dating in just a matter of time. Just let him think of when he wants to ask you the question." Maya says with confidence, believing in the fact that she was a good matchmaker.
"She's right. I mean, I would know." Jenneth finally speaks up after being silent while the other three were talking.
"What do you mean?" Lily comes closer to Jenneth as she is curious at what Jenneth was trying to say.
"Well on my third year I've tried to move on from Scorpius, and in doing so I started going on dates with Randy Goyle. Just a week later after we started going on dates, I was getting impatient and I kind of forced him into making me his girlfriend. So of course our relationship was very much bad since we were a bit young to be in a relationship, and, er...our relationship was forced, so we both just decided to stop the whole "dating" thing and stayed as friends."

For about 4 more hours the girls had kept on talking about relationships and schools. Jenneth and Rose had made up and became friends again, Lily and Maya were her new friends. Eventually Jenneth left their room and came back to the Slytherin dormitories to go to sleep. Rose stayed at the girl's bedroom with Lily and Maya instead of the prefect's bedroom and she slept in her old bed when she wasn't a prefect.
