Short, boring epilogue

Jamie's POV

I was sitting on the couch in my apartment with my laptop on my lap, working on my paper. It had been two years since I moved away from the pack to New York to go to college. Alex made sure to call me three times a week and we texted as much as we could throughout the day.

We never went a day without talking to each other. We FaceTimed on weekends and most of the time, it ended up with both of our hands being tired.

There was a knock on my door and I was confused. I hadn't asked any of my friends to come over and I knew no one from home had come out. They always told me when they would come. Everyone had come out at least once, even Matthew and Jack, which left Alex in charge for two days.

Alex came out once a month because he knew I couldn't leave that much. He didn't come last month because that was when there were a lot of rogue attacks being presented and they had to solve it.

I set my laptop on my coffee table and went over to the front door. I opened it up and saw my cute mate standing there. "Alex! What're you doing here?"

I gave him a huge hug and he held me close to him. "Hey, princess."

I pulled away from him and immediately connected our lips. He pushed me back into my apartment and he pulled away from me for a second. He set his bags down on the ground and pushed me back on my couch. He connected our lips again as he crawled between my legs.

He moved down, attacking my neck and I decided to start question him. "W-why are you here?"

"I wanted to surprise you because I know you've been stressed lately." He told me.

"You're too sweet." I told him.

"What're you up to?" He asked me, running his hands through my hair.

"I was just typing up my paper." I told him, pulling his lips back down to mine.

"So do you know how long I'm staying?" He asked me.

"I was wondering." I told him, caressing his cheek.

"I'm gonna be here for a week to help you calm down because I know you have exams next week."

I smiled up at him, hugging him close. "I love you so goddamn much."

"I love you too, baby."

"I just ordered Chinese food and there's wine in the fridge that my mom bought for me last time she came out." I told him.

"Sounds perfect."

"It should be here in ten minutes, so we have ten minutes to do whatever we want." I told him, then pulled his lips down to mine.

"We can wait until tonight. I just wanna hang out with you." Alex told me, chuckling.

"Is someone not a horny teenager anymore?" I asked with a fake gasp.

He chuckled. "Well, I'm not a teenager anymore, so obviously."

I sat up and sat myself in his lap. My head laid down on his shoulder and his hands were rubbing my legs in an affectionate way. He looked down at me and gave me a soft smile.

"We're going to watch a movie later and drink wine and just calm your nerves." He told me.

"Alex?"

"Hm?"

"I love you so much and I'm so glad that you dropped that record."

He chuckled, kissing my forehead. "I'm glad I'm clumsy too."

I picked my head up and connected our lips again. His hand cupped the back of my neck, pulling us closer to each other. We pulled away and set our foreheads next to each other.

"You're amazing, baby."

"So are you, my little spoiled princess."
