sleeping beauty au
In a far kingdom, a king and queen ruled. For many years they ruled with peace within the kingdom. The couple then had a son. Blessed with his golden locks they celebrated his birth when the sun was raising. The kingdom was thrilled to have a son being born. So excited they gather to the castle with many gifts for the young prince. Creatures from the land even visited the newborn prince.
"Now don't push!"
"Your the one pushing!"
"Gentlemen please! We are in the presence of the king! Calm yourselves!" A man sighed, his arms crossed as his eyes narrowed at the younger men in front of him. His transparent wings flickered in the sunlight. They had a red hue to them. His eyes a soft pink and his soft baby pink hair parted down the middle to expose his forehead. His lips round and soft like rose petals.
The man next to him had blue hair that fell on his eyebrows near his his icy blue eyes that carried a dull look. His bright blue wings flickered in the sunlight. His skin pale with blue sparkly freckles danced on his cheeks and nose. His lips a soft pink.
Finally the last man had brown hair with bright green eyes. His forehead was exposed and his hair gelled back with little strands of hair tickling his forehead. His wings a green transparent with green glitter falling off each time he moved. His tan skin covered from apple of his cheeks to his ears were green glitter freckles.
"Keep it together! We are here to represent the fairies!"
"Which I still don't understand why didn't Jungkook just come. He is the prince of fairies and yet here we are, to represent him." The pale male snarled.
"Sometimes I truly wonder how you are a light fairy Yoongi Hyung. Your so negative yet you are a light fairy and not an evil fairy. You know like-"
"Don't mention his name! You mustn't! They say he appears just the mention of his name Hoseok!"
"Sorry! I forgot Jin Hyung!"
Seokjin sighed once again, facing the other two with narrowed eyes.
"Best behavior you two."
"Yeah whatever. We're just visiting the squirt not raising it."
"I feel like that's gonna come bite us back in the butt later." Hoseok said to no one in particular. Seokjin lightly pushed the men forward in the crowd.
"Must we really do this Hyung?"
"Yes! Now hurry! It's gonna be our turn!"
The three men urgently stepped towards the throne room, their wands and wings leaving a sprinkle of glitter behind. They finally were presented in front of the king. They bowed at his presence, their eyes flickering towards the blue cradle not far from them where the Queen with her long blonde locks looked down at her baby.
"Your highness."
"Hello. You must be the three to represent the Fairy Kingdom?" The King asked, his hand moving as he spoke. Seokjin beamed, standing up straight with his hand still present in front of him.
"Yes your highness. I'm Seokjin, these are my brothers Yoongi and Hoseok. We on the behalf of the Prince of Fairies, Jungkook, would like to bestow a gift the child. Would that be alright with you?"
The King glanced at his wife a bit uneasy, after all it was her idea to invite the fairies. The Queen lightly pat her dress before giving her husband a smile. That's all it took before he faced the fairies with an unsure look.
"Yes. Please be gentle with our son."
"Oh bother, don't mind him, come see my golden flower." The Queen urged with her soft voice.
"But-"
"Oh hush, come it's alright. Please I would be honored to have your gifts bestowed on my child." The Queen gestures towards the cradle with a smile. The three walked warily towards the cradle, feeling the eyes of everyone instilled fear into them. Seokjin leaned towards the cradle with wide eyes. There laid the prince, his eyes closed and his eyelashes softly gazing his round cheeks that peppered with pink. His locks golden like his mother's but barely just strands of hair tickling his forehead. He was wrapped in blue blankets that were soft and neatly tucked in the cradle.
"My! He's beautiful!" Seokjin commented with a wide smile. The Queen smiled at his flattery but made no comment. Seokjin turned towards his brothers, ushering them over. Hoseok beamed, walking closer with wide curious eyes, Yoongi following behind them in a much slower pace.
"Wow he's so small."
"Well duh, he's only a couple of months old idiot."
"Yoongi right now really isn't the time." Seokjin sighed.
"Well then hyung, what's your going to be your gift to the prince?" Hoseok asked, his hand gently placed on the cradle. Seokjin thought for a moment before stepping back to turn towards the king and queen.
"My gift to him is the gift of beauty, given he already has beauty, his beauty would make everyone turn towards him the moment he walks in. He would be loved by all who lay eyes on him." He waved his wand as his wand started to glow a pink hue. He placed the wand over the baby's head letting the sparkles fall on his forehead. The baby sneezed causing everyone to awe at his cuteness.
"What about you Hoseok?"
"Don't worry I got a good one!" Hoseok whispered towards Seokjin with a grin. Yoongi rolled his eyes at his comment, blankly staring at the male. Hoseok stepped back to also face the King and Queen. He gave them a bow before waving his wand the same manner as Seokjin.
"The gift I bestow on him is the gift of song. He would sing with elegance and honey. His voice as soft and deep like the ocean waves. Everyone would stop just to hear his voice, all the animals would draw close to him with his luring voice." His wand now glowed a bright green as small sparkles left his wand and tickled the baby's curly eyelashes.
"And now Yoongi it's your-"
The wind suddenly picked up in the room, blowing out the candles and blowing the hair into odd directions. The chandeliers swing in odd fashion while people screamed at the sudden gust of wind. The Queen ran towards the cradle trying to hold it down. Green smoke appeared in front of the fairies, blinding their vision. An evil crackle echoed the room while people screamed.
Finally the smoke cleared and stood a tall man. His dark horns instantly giving him away. Not even his ebony hair that pushed back gave it away. Seokjin glared at the figure, his hands gripping his wand. His brothers stood behind him in fear knowing what everyone didn't know. He was dressed in all black, his coat dragging behind him with his fair skin and bright green eyes. His fingers gripping the black staff as his eyes wondered around the room. A crow perched itself on his shoulder while he gave a eerie smile at the audience.
"My my! What a crowd! And all for a baby!" He chuckled, his steps quiet yet loud from the echoing and quiet room.
"I am sad however not receiving an invitation. Was it lost?" He asked in false innocence.
"You know you weren't invited Namjoon!"
"Oh. How awkward. What an awkward situation. Oh well I must've been at least on a what if list, certainly the queen didn't forget about me."
Seokjin narrowed his eyes, standing in front of the cradle while his brothers reached out for him in comfort. Even Yoongi tugged his sleeve in fear. Every fairy feared the evil fairy in front of them. Just the mention of his name can summon him. Many fairies received scars from his power. But despite all that, Seokjin stood up tall in his presence challenging him in a sense.
"Leave!"
"Leave? Now Seokjin you are in no power to order me around. Everyone knows the King and Queen have no power to order a fairy around. It's the reason why they make these silly laws to keep us in check so they can rule in peace. And you light fairies just give in their demands. Such a shame really you could've been more like me if it wasn't for the fact how weak you and that Prince of Fairies are towards these pathetic creatures. Really Seokjin you should watch your tongue." Namjoon chuckled taking a step forward towards the cradle. This caused Seokjin to tensed, pointing his white wand towards Namjoon with gritted teeth.
"Stand back!"
"Now now no need to get hasty. I too want to bestow a gift on the child."
"Your a fool thinking we would let you bestow a gift on the child!"
"Calm down Seokjin. I mean no harm towards the child. I just want some sort of peace."
Seokjin clenched his jaw, narrowing his eyes at the tall male.
"You say that as if you didn't speak ill towards the kingdom! Your highnesses I strongly urge you two deny his gift." Seokjin faced the King and Queen with a worried expression. The King glanced at his wife. But she only stared at the ground, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"I appreciate your concern Seokjin, but we are to make mends with every creature on the land. It would not be fair to let you guys to give your gifts but not let him. I will accept your gift under the condition this would make peace between us." The Queen stated, her hands clasp together. Her hands sweaty and gripped onto to each other which almost went unnoticed by Seokjin. He soften his stare understanding where the Queen was coming from. She was frightened but wanted peace in her land. His eyes flickering towards the evil man who gave a grin at her response.
"As you wish, your highness."
The glint in his eyes made the women panic.
"Wait!-"
But her words drowned as the room shook, and the room light up a electric green. Namjoon waves his staff around with the jewel giving the room a green hue color. His own eyes matching the glowing gem.
"Listen well all of you! Yes the prince shall grow in beauty and song and beloved by all! He would bring peace and love to the land! However! On his 21st birthday before the sunsets that day, he would stick his finger on a needle of a spindle! Where he would sleep for 100 years! And no power on the earth would lift this curse!" He shouted with a wide wicked smile. The Queen gasped, taking her baby from the cradle. Her arms wrapped around him in a protective manner. But it did nothing as the green hue surrounded the baby, disappearing the moment it made contact with his small body.
His evil laughter echoed in the room as he dispersed into green smoke. The room screamed at his sudden disappearance. Seokjin coughed, waving the cloud of smoke away.
"I really hate his dramatic behavior." Yoongi coughed. Hoseok coughed as well with a nod.
"Me too."
"The baby!" Seokjin yelled, running towards the Queen who refused to loosen her grip.
"Your highness! Are you alright?" Seokjin asked, his hands ready to assist the Queen in anyway.
"I'm alright. How's the king?"
"He's alright!" Hoseok shouted from the other end. The Queen sighed in relief but her eyes quickly became filled with tears.
"But not my child, right?"
Seokjin thinned his lips, his pink eyes flickering at the small child.
"I'm afraid not your highness."
"Is there anyway to cure him?" She asked with her voice soft and weak.
"No. His magic is much too powerful. But, there's still a way. Yoongi!"
Hoseok gently pushed the said fairy towards Seokjin. Yoongi stumbled towards the Queen. He quickly fixed his posture, clearing his throat.
"I can't break it. But I can make a way to break it. If that's fine with you, your highness?" Yoongi said, his fingers fiddling with his wand. The Queen sensed his nervousness and gave a half smile. She presented the prince with soft eyes.
"Yes. Thank you."
Yoongi nodded mindlessly, his icy eyes staring at the small child. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes to soothe his nerves. When he opened them again they glowed a bright blue.
"True the curse would go by what he cursed, however there is a light in this darkness. Yes a ray of hope string from the dark. His curse will be broken by true loves kiss. A kiss that could only be by his one true love. To show the evil fairy that love prevails and evil will perish by the name of love." Yoongi waved his wand letting the glitter pepper the prince cheeks. The Queen looked down at her child with a faint smile.
"Thank you." She whispered. The three fairies nodded feeling helpless in the situation. It wasn't long before the king ordered everyone in the castle to burn all the spindles in the kingdom. Fear filled his body as he didn't even tell the public the prince name. He feared the evil fairy would pop out with the mention of his son's name.
The three fairies sat in a room with Seokjin pacing around the room in worry. Hoseok drank his tea as he watched Seokjin restlessly walk around the room.
"Hyung calm down. The prince will be alright."
"No! He wouldn't! Nam-I mean him! He will still cause havoc towards the young prince! He hates humans! We know this! And with his past relationship with the Queen, he will sure cause chaos in her kingdom. That's why he cursed the prince in the first place! We need a plan to protect the child!" Seokjin rambled, his fingers creating a birds nest on his locks. Yoongi laid his chin on his palm, his other hand stirring his tea.
"Okay but he knows us like the back of his hand. It won't matter what we come up with, he'll figure it out. And why is it our problem? That squirt is the Queen's problem not ours. It's her fault for what she did to him." Yoongi huffed, taking a sip of his tea.
"No don't be like that Hyung. We all know you care for the little guy. That's why you gave him that gift." Hoseok smiled. Yoongi scoffed and rolled his eyes with a grumble.
"But Yoongi has a point, he knows us too well. We have to do something that we wouldn't normally do." Hoseok added. Seokjin sighed, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Yeah I know. Curse him." Seokjin grumbles.
"You mean curse him for being your brother. Biologically of course. We're, we're not your biological brothers. We're just saplings that you adopted." Yoongi stated, now playing with his wand as glitter fell on the table. Seokjin frowned, walking towards his brothers. He ruffled both their hair trying to lighten up the mood.
"No your still my brothers. Adopted or not still my brothers who have not betrayed me. Don't speak such nonsense."
Hoseok grinned, while Yoongi grumbled with faint red cheeks.
"Now don't think of anything less. But we still have to come up with a plan." Seokjin sighed. Hoseok placed his chin on his palm in thought.
"Yeah whatever. We're just visiting the squirt not raising it."
Hoseok suddenly bounced up with wide eyes. He startled his other two brothers.
"I got it!"
And thus the three fairies disguised themselves as regular humans living in a forest far from the kingdom to raise the prince for 21 years and a day. While they were away, the King ordered that every spindle in the kingdom would be burned and bad until the prince would return safety. They hid deep in the forest with no magic to help them raise the child and go undetected by Namjoon. The Queen told them the name of the young prince with a heavy heart. Taehyung was his name and he was betrothed with a princess from a far away kingdom since birth.
Though only the Queen and King knew about his arranged marriage and so did the fairies but they kept their mouths shut and waited for the prince to grow up before they tell him. They all agreed to wait until he was 21 to tell him about his curse and secret identity. Namjoon found out about the Kings plans and searched for years for the prince. But such little description caused many failures for years. However, he refused to give up and was determined to have his curse set through.
Taehyung grew into a fine man, his hair tickling the back of his neck and his skin fair. His lips the shade of rose and tall. His voice did lure everyone and everything that heard his voice. It was nearly a year before he turned 21, where he was adventuring in the woods. Wearing nothing but black trousers that went past his waist and a white loose shirt that sculpted his body quite nicely. His basket in his hand while his cloak hid his beauty.
"I don't know about you TaTa, but it's actually quite lovely today." Taehyung spoke with the red bird perched on his shoulder. The bird chirped at his response.
"I wonder when Hyungs would stop babying me. I'm an adult. Literally. They can be so annoying. I'm not even allowed to the nearest village." Taehyung sighed.
"It is getting a bit hotter now. Don't you think-"
"WOAH-"
A loud splash was heard with a neigh trailing behind it. Taehyung tensed, his head whipped towards the pond not too far from him. The only problem was the fact it was surrounded by bushes so he couldn't see what fell in. The bird perched on his shoulder flapped it's wings in alert. Taehyung glanced at his bird.
"It's alright. I'm sure it's nothing." Taehyung rest assured the bird before he took slow steps towards the pond. He then moved the branches away from the pond before his eyes met with e/c. He halted his movements, his face merely inches away from her. The women was sitting down, trenched from head to toe with water. A lily pad on her head while her lips parted letting out a surprised squeak slip out the moment her eyes met his. A white horse was behind her, his teeth barely holding onto her red feathered hat. The woman was a strange creature. At least to Taehyung. She wore the corset over her black long sleeve shirt then had a red skirt that reached up her knee and was tattered up. But with black leggings underneath and brown leather boots.
"Um are you alright Miss?"
The girl gave a nervous laugh, sitting more proper like despite the water that coated her.
"Yes! I'm sorry! My bad!" The girl was now trying to stand up but her legs felt wobbly and she slipped again. Her white horse gave an unamused look, as if he's used to this. Taehyung now pushed the bushes and branches away to let his feet touch the water.
"Are you sure? Do you need help?"
"Huh?! Oh nononono this is just a common thing! Really! Now if you excuse me-" Once again the women slipped into the water, now having a frog perched on top of the lily pad that refused to leave her head. The frog letting out a croak, perhaps even laughing at her situation. Taehyung bit his lip to hold his laughter. He cleared his throat before extending his hand out. What a funny woman she was.
"I think you need a little help." Taehyung smiled. The girl sighed, taking his hand. Heat curled up her neck and cheeks, her lips thinned as he helped her up. The girl thanked him as she started to squeeze the water out of her skirt. Taehyung gently removed the frog, placing it on a rock before pricking off the lily pad that laid on her head.
"Once again thank you." She smiled, now squeezing out the water from her hair. Taehyung gave a smile in return.
"No problem! But may I ask you what your doing here? This is pretty far from the nearest village down hill."
The girl then grabbed her hat from the horse, patting the water off it. She slightly tensed at his question but shook it off.
"If you really want me to be honest I kinda got lost. I was following my father to the Kingdom of Singularity. We have some um-matters to attend-there at the village, I mean." The woman smiled nervously.
"Oh. Well I'm not quite sure where the Kingdom is but I'm sure if you past the Fae Forest you'll be able to find fairies who would gladly help you. Just look for the ones with butterfly wings. At least that's what my Hyungs tell me. Ah where are my manners! I'm Taehyung, and you?"
"Ah! Right sorry! I'm Y/n. It's so nice to meet you Taehyung. I do apologize on the situation. I'm much more proper, really!" Y/n gave another nervous smile while her horse snort out in disagreement. Y/n rolled her eyes, narrowing her eyes at the horse.
"You keep silent. I don't need you nagging me on how clumsy I am. I have enough of that at home." Y/n lightly smacked his ear as she huffed in annoyance.
"Well I do apologize for that. I was trying to climb a tree to see where I was at and well slipped into the pond. Like an idiot." Y/n sighed, her hand reaching behind her neck to rub it. Her cheeks growing hotter by the second.
"Oh no it's alright. Well Miss Y/n I could take you to the Fae Forest. My brothers have told me it's near the boarders. But be warned, fairies are very particular about who they unlike." Taehyung said. Y/n finally left the pond, gently pulling the horse's reins. Taehyung followed behind her with still a warm smile presented on his features. Y/n wasn't going to lie, he was a very handsome man indeed. His hair golden like the sun and his features so sharp yet gentle. And his eyes, such a warm look. He just screamed the sun. Perhaps even brighter than the sun. But she certainly was surprise he didn't make fun of her clumsiness. Even her father and older sisters tend to make fun of her for her unladylike ways.
"I would appreciate that. Thank you so much."
"Oh no need to thank me. It's the least I can do." Taehyung now showed his famous boxy grin nearly causing her to become breathless. His glow was so gravitating, his presence so relaxing and just beautiful. He looked so princely. Was this man truly just another peasant? If so Y/n should really give peasants a chance if they all look like this. He was just so charming and kind. It was at this moment there was no way Y/n was going to just disappear from this man's sights.
Many of the men Y/n meet where never this kind and warm. Even his eyes held gentleness. Such a golden look that Y/n has never seen before. Such a rare look indeed! He was just so alluring. Y/n would just swoon at his gestures and soft eyes. His voice was deep yet soothing like the oceans waves that passed the shore. She just couldn't keep her eyes off him the whole walk there. His voice just pleasant homey to her ears. Even after he helped her, she still visited him.
For many months and many weeks she visited the golden male. Everyday he would stay near the blueberry bush and pond where they meet just to speak and be in each other's presence. Y/n just couldn't stop herself from to be away from this man. Her eyes would turn soft and her cheeks always so warm. Butterflies would swarm in herds in her tummy. A smile never disappearing from her lips while he glowed.
But Taehyung could say the same.
He's never truly met a girl in his life before. He was raised by men who refused to let him near the villages. But Taehyung always craved for interaction with people. However, his brothers were far too stubborn and overprotective of their little brother, for whatever reason, Taehyung just couldn't understand why.
But now, he just couldn't stop seeing this woman. The way she described the world and how it works made Taehyung craved the human society even more. And her warmth, oh it lit up the forest brighter than the sun. He could never stop gazing at her even as she turned to face something else. His chest would swell with warmth the moment she laughed. It just felt so foreign yet familiar. Like he's felt this in once upon a dream.
👑👑👑👑
Nine months passed. The fall was nearly upon them with the days getting shorter and colder by the days. Taehyung was currently in his room where the cottage was. He was painting, humming a random tune as his fingers swiftly moved on the canvas. His eyes softening the moment the colors blend to create a person. Her smile and eyes shined through the canvas. Even brighter than the warm hot sun that laid rest outside.
"I think he's in love."
"I think he's officially gone crazy."
Yoongi and Hoseok where near the doorframe, away from Taehyung's eyes. Not like it matter, he was far too focus to pay attention.
"Whatever the case is, he's been so out of dazed. Like he's drunk of something."
"So drunk-dazed?"
Yoongi rolled his eyes, facing the green fairy.
"Your an idiot."
"Brothers, please he's not either. I think." Seokjin appeared with uneasy look. Yoongi face the pink male with thin lips.
"Hyung. You out of all of us here should know better. Just look at his eyes. I've seen that look and you've especially since that look. That's the same look his mother gave to-"
"Don't mention his name!" Hoseok quickly whispered. Yoongi rolled his eyes the second time that day.
"I wasn't! The point being is I think he's-infatuated-with someone. That could explain his dazed expressions and why he wants to leave the house more often. Come on Seokjin, you should know that look."
Seokjin sighed, now facing Taehyung who was humming a tune he's never heard off. His heart sinking the moment his eyes flickered to Taehyung's. They were soft and warm like always; but this time, they were more gentle. Like he already glowed and yet if it was even more possible, he glowing even more. The love struck smile never even wavering as he hummed the tune. Seokjin felt like he was looking through the mirror all over again. The scene of Taehyung's mother playing over in flash. The scene of Seokjin's brother having the same look flashed through his eyes.
This just couldn't be right.
Just who has he been seeing?
They were literally stranded in the middle of the woods.
"Okay this can not happen. We have to break it off. He's engage to a princess for goodness sake."
"But maybe we shouldn't do anything." Hoseok piped in. Seokjin and Yoongi stared at the male with wide eyes.
"What?! Hoseok-"
"Just hear me out. If it's anything like his mother's situation, then we should just cut off his engagement."
"Hoseok we don't have the power to do that!"
"But we do! Look I'm just saying The Queen was happier with-you know, and well the whole reason he even became bad was because of what the King forced his lover to do. We could avoid this all over again if we just let him be. He loves her or like Yoongi said, infatuated, with her. I just don't want this to happen again."
Seokjin thinned his lips, his eyes softening at his words. Perhaps they should but Seokjin didn't want the younger lad to get hurt, they don't even know the person. How can they trust them?
"Look it's a bad idea but why can't they just marry who they want? Surely the King and Queen would know this would happen. For Pete's sake he was bound to meet a girl! And with the gifts we gave him as a baby, they already in effect! Come on Hyung." Hoseok urged.
"Well he's right, the gifts we gave him as a child would already be in effect meaning anyone would gravitate towards him. Not to mention he's as charming as his mother. If anything he's just like his mother!"
"Who's like their mother?"
Yoongi jumped, throwing his hands in the air. Hoseok let out a scream while Seokjin jerked backwards with wide eyes and mouth hanging open. Taehyung blinked, his right hand still holding the paint brush he was using. Spots and smears of paint were splashed on his clothing. Seokjin quickly cleared his throat with a nervous chuckle.
"Geez Tae you scared us."
"I could tell you guys the same. I'm trying to paint and I hear you and Hyungs arguing. I mean I shouldn't be surprise since you guys argue a lot-"
"-that's absurd we don't!"
"-but it seem pretty heated and wanted to know what's up. Did Hobi Hyung do something wrong again?"
"Hey! I do not mess up!"
"With cooking you do. That's for sure. I mean at least it's not as bad as that wanna be Maleficent." Yoongi snort. Seokjin glared at the pale male.
"Hey watch it Yoongi or your on cooking duty."
"Still protective of that low budget tinker bell but okay." Yoongi shrugged, walking away. Hoseok thinned his lips seeing Seokjin turn red with anger. Even Taehyung knew to step back.
"Well! We weren't talking about anything. We were just stating how your like your mother." Hoseok beamed. Taehyung now faced the green fairy with a smile.
"Really?"
Hoseok nodded, harshly grabbing Seokjin's arm to make him face Taehyung.
"Absolutely! Right Hyung?"
Hoseok squeezed his arm to gain his attention also to silently warn the older male. Hoseok gave a tight smile at Seokjin. Seokjin blinked, his anger vanishing the moment he realized the spotlight was on him.
"H-huh? Oh yes. I was just saying how you get your wonderful art skills from your mother. She loved to paint as well." Seokjin cleared his throat.
"By the way! Who are you painting TaeTae?~" Hoseok sang. Taehyung felt his cheeks grew hot. He shyly rubbed behind his neck with a nervous chuckle.
"Ah nobody."
"Oh come on! It can't just be anyone! With the way your humming all happily, there's someone on your mind."
Taehyung glanced at the sky, the sun high in the afternoon.
"Actually! I have to found um-more paint! So see you Hyungs later!" He quickly hugged his older brothers before slipping on his cloak and grabbing a basket.
"Tell Yoongi Hyung I'll be back! Bye!"
"Wait Tae-"
Taehyung didn't hear the rest of it, rushing towards their meeting spot. His smile growing just the thought of seeing her. A red bird followed him from above, chirping to let him know it was present.
"Ah! TATA! Beautiful day ain't it? Do you see Y/n?" Taehyung asked, his legs carrying him. The bird chirped causing Taehyung to beam.
"Thanks TATA!"
Taehyung jumped over large rocks, moving swiftly through the woods, the breeze tickling his face while his hair pulled back to expose his forehead. He laughed, enjoying the feel of the wind. But came to a halt, his chest raising and falling at a fast pace. He placed his hand on the tree, his eyes softening at Y/n. She pet her white horse, her back facing him as her bare feet touched the cool pond. She glowed, with her the sun kissing her skin, at least in his eyes she looked beautiful.
Taehyung sneaked behind her, laying his chin on her head. Y/n jumped at the sudden touch, but soon relax when she heard him chuckle. By now he pulled away to sit next to her. His arm sneak around her waist.
"Your really annoying you know." Y/n huffed, handing her white horse a carrot. The horse happily munched on the carrot with a snort. The male laughed, facing towards her with a boxy grin.
"I might be, but you still love me!"
Y/n chuckled, folding her arms over her stomach, watching the water ripple beneath her feet. It was true and that she couldn't deny it, how she truly loved the male before her. She truly wasn't sure where their relationship stood but the way he was holding her right now made her wonder if they were lovers. He was really a confusing man. This wasn't even the first time this has happened, nor it seems to be the last. He continues to be so affectionate and sweet towards her like any other day. Even now as he digs himself into her neck, inhaling through his nose in a content sigh. Y/n sat there, always questioning if he ever felt the same as her.
"Hey Taehyung?"
"Hmm?"
Y/n chewed her lip before speaking.
"What are we?"
Taehyung blinked, pulling back to face her furrowed eyebrows. Like she was in a deep trance of thoughts. Taehyung tilted his head in confusion.
"I'm sorry? Aren't we friends?"
Y/n sighed, he was so dense at times it lowkey frustrated her. He knew nothing about woman or anything about the kingdom. He was so naive yet likable. Maybe this was a bad idea to ask him. He probably doesn't even know what it means to even fall in love with someone. What was Y/n even thinking? Perhaps he only really did see her only as a friend.
"Nevermind." Y/n stood up, walking towards her white horse who was just eating the grass not too far from her. Taehyung blinked at her sudden mood change. Something he realized happened more than it should. Why did woman change their moods so quick? And why did his Hyungs never mention any of this? Now he's sitting here pondering on what he did wrong.
"Well what do you want us to be? We are friends right?" Taehyung asked. Y/n sighed, now regretting even bringing this topic up. So dense yet so handsome. So annoying.
"Of course we're friends. I just want to know why you act so oh what's the word, affectionate towards me I suppose that's one way to put it."
"Affectionate? But I'm like that with my Hyungs. Hoseok Hyung gives the best hugs. And Yoongi Hyung loves holding hands! And Seokjin Hyung loves petting my hair. What's wrong with being affectionate?"
"Nothing! Look you love your brothers right? They treat you well and probably return the same brotherly love right?"
Taehyung nodded, his eyes swirling with confusion.
"Okay well in some cases you became affectionate towards people you love in a different manner. Not like a family or brotherly way. Or even in our case, in a friend way. You could love someone like in a way where you want to stay with them forever and marry them. Like your parents! What I'm asking you is, do you love me in that manner?" Y/n was trying her best but she still felt a bit stuck explaining him this. There was times where she truly wonder who raised him. He basically knew everything about a fairy but about mankind? Nothing he knew absolutely nothing besides the basics. Just for a moment would she love to speak with his caretakers. Poor job they were doing.
"Like my parents? But my parents died when I was a baby-"
Y/n groaned, slapping her forehead.
"Taehyung that's not the point. You know what just forget it. Let's just stop this conversation before you hurt yourself." Y/n huffed, ruffling her hair in frustration. Taehyung thinned his lips, he still couldn't understand what upset her. Woman are truly confusing. But whatever is troubling her was now troubling him as well. He didn't like seeing her upset.
"Well I should head back."
"What!? But you just got here!" Taehyung was now scrambling up to stop her. Did he really upset her to the point where she wanted to cut their visit early? His arms wrapped around her waist from behind stopping her from hopping on her horse. Y/n felt her cheeks grow warm, halting her actions.
"Y-yeah I know. But I have to cut it short since I have a meeting with my father. And actually there's something I have to tell you." Y/n cleared her throat trying to keep her cool. Taehyung however refused to loosen his grip, laying his chin on her shoulder as a way to let her continue. Y/n felt her heart thumping in her chest but she tried to ignore it as she continued to speak.
"My father, let's just say has a very high status. There's me and my three older sisters. We are um rich. We have a lot of money. Which means to keep this sort of business of sorts my father arranges us into marriages to keep this sort of status." Y/n begin to explain. She swallowed, her gaze now on the ground. She took a deep breath, glancing at the boy over her shoulder.
"You see that means I'm not allowed to marry who I want so for my fathers sake I will marry another man that I never I met. Which means I can't be around much anymore or perhaps at all. It would be my duty to serve as a wife. His birthday is in three months meaning, two days after his birthday I'll be wedded to him."
"Then I'll marry you!" He suddenly blurt out. Y/n blinked, now removing herself from his warm embrace.
"What?! No Taehyung marriage is a sacred thing-"
"But your father doesn't seem to view it like that. I'm aware what marriage is. And yes it's very sacred thing. But you said that there's a different kind of love which means you were implying that marriage love. Right?" Taehyung asked now not as confident in his response. Y/n slowly smiled, nodding at his words.
"But you really don't have to do that Taehyung. I love you like that but I would not allow you to marry me out of pity."
Taehyung gabbed her forearms startling her, he quickly kissed her forehead before looking at her.
"No! I do love you too! Like that! I do! I really do! And I just can't stand another man taking you away from me! Please just give me three months. I'll marry you right on my birthday. You can't say no." He said sternly. Y/n tensed but soon let out a giggle. Her chest warming at his suggestion, even more so knowing this naive man loved her the same way.
"Yeah I would like that. Promise?"
"Promise."
But their promise was pointless. Three months came faster than anyone would imagine. Y/n had to get prepared for her wedding but keeping in mind what Taehyung told her. That was enough to keep going even though her days with him lessen considerably. But Taehyung kept himself busy already deciding to marry her and where. Though he had yet shared a word to his brothers. Just their reactions caused him to shiver. He knew for sure Seokjin would kill her so he wasn't quite sure how to approach it.
It soon was his birthday. He left earlier that day and told Y/n to meet up at the cottage at the end of woods in the evening. He was heading back, his smile beaming. His chest warm while butterflies fluttered in his stomach. Nearly a year since he met her and he was going to marry her. It felt so weird yet exciting. He clenched onto his basket, the red birdie perched on his shoulder. His birthday was today and he was officially 21. Though it really didn't feel any different than being 20 to him at least.
"Hyungs I'm home-"
"SURPRISE!"
Taehyung blinked, confetti blow right on his face as the colorful paper landed on his head. Seokjin was smiling, while Hoseok was holding the confetti cannon and Yoongi was holding a blue cake with 21 candles lit up. Even though he had a blank look, Taehyung was able to catch a small smile at his reaction. Seokjin threw his arms around Taehyung stumbling Taehyung backwards.
"Your 21!"
"Y-yeah. W-what's all this?" Taehyung asked clearly surprised. Hoseok moved Seokjin away causing him to whine.
"Your birthday party! We also have some important news! Come sit!" Hoseok dragged him to the small wooden table and sat him on the wooden chair. Taehyung looked more confused as ever. His eyes then glancing at a blue suit that had a cape attached. It looked like it belong to a prince.
"Um okay. What is it Hyungs?" Taehyung asked, his eyes flickering back to the older ones. Yoongi sat down the cake, leaning against the wooden table. His eyes slightly widening realizing he left the broom running. He quickly cleared his throat as he secretly waved his wand to stop the broom. Hoseok's eyes widen for a second, before giving a nervous smile to Taehyung. He was quickly wiping the glitter that was on Seokjin's shirt. Surely he knew this was from the fight him and Yoongi were having.
"We have some big news to tell you." Seokjin started, clasping his hands and placed them behind his back as he waved his wand underneath his sleeve to rid of Hoseok's unmatched color shirt. He wasn't even aware the crow that perched near the window, listening to their conversation.
"Your are a Prince."
"A what?!"
"Now now calm down let me finish. Your are the Prince of Singularity, Prince Kim Taehyung. You were cursed when you were a baby-"
"-so we hid you in the woods by the order of your father until your birthday was over. We are actually three fairies who agreed to keep you safe."
"-however we have received the okay from your father to return home today. It seem like the fairy who cursed you has been missing for years. So we are to bring you home." Yoongi finished explaining. Taehyung now stood up, he was in disbelief. No one realized the small crow suddenly disappeared to head back to its master.
Him?
A prince?
"W-wait we are leaving tonight?!"
Hoseok nodded with a happy smile.
"Yes! Aren't you excited to see your parents?"
"What?! But can't we wait a day? Or I don't know! Please there's this girl-"
Seokjin sighed, his eyes flickering with sadness. Even both the fairies froze at his words. They always suspect something but they didn't think it was true or perhaps he would get over it. But it seem it only blossom.
"Taehyung. You can't marry that girl."
Taehyung stopped his rambling and faced his Hyung, his heart broken at his brother's words.
"W-what not?"
"Because your engaged to someone. Your parents set this up when you were a newborn."
"Hyung is this really-"
"He has to know sooner or later. And we have no power to change this fate. This is just what your mother would want." Seokjin explained, his face emotionless. Taehyung felt his chest tighten, his eyes wavering. Yoongi took a step towards him but Taehyung stepped back. He looked lost and heartbroken, but what could he do?
"A-Alright. I'll start packing."
And just like that the prince head upstairs to his room without another word. He didn't mutter a single word as they headed back towards the castle. His eyes dull and blank as he stared at the forest. Yoongi who sat by him, glanced at him in worry. Though he doesn't show it a lot, he truly cared for the boy and for months was wondering if they should mention something to the Queen. Surely she would understand. He was so happy and now his alluring aura was dimmed. No matter how handsome he looked in his princely clothes, his aura was just so gloomy.
Oh what to do.
Seokjin seem set on not letting him marry who he wanted, it was like history was repeating itself and he refused to have it that way again. Hopefully she wasn't some evil fairy and just a regular human.
When Taehyung made it home, he wasn't even allowed to see his parents and was snuck into his room which happened to be the highest bloody tower there was. Taehyung was really out of breathe by the time he made it to his room. However he refused to acknowledge his "brothers" and slipped into his room ignoring their words. He sat on his bed, staring at the window that showed his kingdom.
Just at that moment a voice called him. Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows, turning his head to face the door but nothing was there. Then again the voice called but this time it told him to walk towards the fireplace he had in his room. Taehyung confused walked towards the fireplace. A spell was being repeated in his ears causing to go into a daze. His eyes glowed a bright green, his eyes hazy. He didn't even question the walls disappearing and replaced with a pair of stairs leading down. The strange forced carried his legs towards the stairs it was at that moment the fairies barged in sensing something wrong but it was too late. The spell was starting and there wasn't anything they could do.
They screamed his name, trying to break the spell but nothing worked. As they tried to follow him through the strange pair of stairs, it disappeared and replaced back to the fireplace. They banged on the brick wall, completely devastated.
"What do we do?!" Hoseok asked panicked. Yoongi faced the two fairies with a determined look.
"Exactly the way I said. Find his true love."
"Yoongi we don't even know how the damn girl looks like!" Seokjin growled out.
"No, but we know from Taehyung's rambling where she was heading. To the old cottage. Now remain calm. My spell was supposed to be a back up plan to the first. Now we must hurry if we want to save Taehyung. Hoseok put everyone in the kingdom to sleep so no one would worry about the prince. Me and Seokjin will head over there already, meet us there." Yoongi ordered, his wings reappearing the same from many years ago. Hoseok nodded, his wings reappearing before he left the room altogether. Seokjin did the same but now more worried than ever.
"Would this really work?"
"It's has too. It's my gift to him and I tend keeping it that way."
Far away, Y/n rode her horse as the sun set. Her smile wide, her hat surprisingly not falling off as the wind hit her face. It was winter yet no snow had yet to fallen but it was just cold. And a bit gloomy with the clouds being grey and dull. Yet she felt like she was full of light. She was wearing a white Renaissance shirt tucked in her black trousers. Her boots brown with her hair pulled back in a low ponytail.
Once the cottage came into view, she slowed down her horse, her smile never leaving her face even as she hopped off the horse. She quickly fixed herself, then walking towards the door. She knocked on the door gently.
"Come in."
Y/n stepped in, her smile disappearing the moment she was met with darkness.
"Hello? Taehyung?"
"So that's his name. Taehyung. For a second I thought Jimin was speaking nonsense." A deep voice caused her to jerk backwards. Her eyes wide. Namjoon merged from the shadows with a smile. Y/n stepped back, her eyes narrowed at the male in front of her.
"And who are you? And what have you done with Taehyung?"
He tilted his head, his smile widening. His green eyes glinting with evil.
"My name is Namjoon. I've done absolutely nothing to that boy. At least not yet. Oh don't fret beautiful, he's safe. I'm here because I've been watching you for a while now. A little birdie told me you and the prince loved each other. Is that right?"
"Yes. And what is it to you?"
Namjoon threw his head back in laughter, before facing her once again.
"Everything! That has do with everything with me! You see that's a very big nono. I need the Queen to suffer and this seems to be the only way to do it. Cursing her precious boy. Now there's only one way to break it and frankly we can't have that." His fingers moved in a odd direction causing all the dead weeds and branches to wrap around her body. Y/n squirmed, thrashing around to be free. Her hat falling off in the process.
"Let go of me! And free Taehyung!"
"Sorry pretty flower, just not yet. But don't worry I'll set you free, in 100 years. Let's see if your prince would still want you then." He laughed. He caused a green smoke to surround them and they both disappeared.
By the time the three fairies came all they were left was a black hat laying on the ground. Frustrated they all knew where they had to head. Towards the ruins in Mono. Mostly the two youngest were scared to head there, but this was the sake of the prince. So urgently they head towards the dead land. They needed to save Taehyung. And they needed to save that girl.
Y/n was locked in a ruined old run down prison. But that didn't stop the fairy chaining her ankles. She narrowed her eyes at the male, her fists clenched and her jaw tight. Namjoon only gave an amused look.
"Glare all you want flower but it's not going to do you any good really. Your useless in this prison. Probably even more so with a sword. How will you save Taehyung I wonder? Hmm? Well it's no concern to me. Jimin, watch her." With the wave of his green staff, the crow turned into a human. Jimin coughed a bit startled at the sudden change and ruffled his now fluffy black dark. He stood up, fully clothed. He gave a bow towards the male.
"Yes Sir."
"Report if those annoying fairies come here. We must keep them from finding her. I'm sure by now they know about his lover." Namjoon said as he walked away.
"Yes sir." Jimin replied, grabbing a sword near him and standing guard in front of her cell. Y/n thinned her lips, her eyes glaring at the male in front of her.
Meanwhile the fairies shrink themselves, watching intently from afar.
"What do we do? Do we knock him out or?"
"What like kill him? Now we're talking."
"No! Guys! Jimin is just working for Nam-I mean him! But yes we should cast some sort of sleeping spell and free Y/n."
"But can she really wield a sword? If we do free here I'm sure she'll have to fight him so how do we help her then?" Hoseok whispered. Yoongi rolled his eyes.
"I'm sure she can. Stop being sexist Hoseok! Now come on!"
"I'm just asking! She's a girl for Pete's sake!"
With a wave of their wand, Jimin was put to sleep, his head leaning against the wall with closed eyes. Finally they grew into normal size. Y/n who was sitting, now had wide eyes at the three now tall fairies. Where fairies even supposed to be that tall?
"Look we would introduce ourselves but we're running short on time. Just know we are here to free you to save Taehyung." Seokjin explained, waving his wand as the bars disappeared. Y/n stood up, blinking with another wave of his wand her chains disappeared from her ankles.
"So you know what happen to Tae? Where is he? And who's that man?" Y/n asked.
"Taehyung is actually cursed by that fairy. Under no circumstances mention his name. Just by the sound of his name he can be summoned. Taehyung was cursed since he was a newborn. He is currently being held at the highest tower in the kingdom. What you must do now is defeat that man." Hoseok urgently explained.
"Me? Defeat him? That's impossible he has magic!" Y/n whispered.
"Wait your telling me it's not even the fact you can't wield a sword but because he has magic?" Hoseok asked. Y/n gave a look of confusion.
"What? No! I can wield a sword. I've fought with swords in the past that's not an issue here. It's the fact that man is tall, creepy, and has magic."
"But your a girl how do you know-"
"Wow so even fairies are sexist." Y/n rolled her eyes, her face expressionless. Hoseok stumbled in his words while Yoongi laughed.
"See! Told you Hoseok!"
"Gentlemen please! We really need to move quickly! Here, a sword and a shield. Your going to need it." Seokjin used his wand to make a silver sword and a golden shield appear in her hands. Seokjin honestly didn't care if she was a girl who wield a sword, just anything was helpful at this point to save the prince.
"Wait why can't you guys kill him?" Y/n asked.
"Simple. Seokjin is still attached to him and the fact we are life giving fairies not killing ones. It would be against our code to kill him. Besides it's to show him true love will prevail. Now hurry head towards him to defeat him once and for all."
Y/n gave a nod, turning her heel to run up the stairs. The same ones Namjoon took earlier when he left her in the cell. Completely forgetting to even ask the gentlemen where he was even at in the first place.
"She'll win right?"
"I hope so."
Y/n ran faster, sweat already running down her forehead. This place was like a maze. There was no way she was gonna find him at this point. Y/n stopped her steps, breathing heavily while her eyes scanned around the rooms. About three tunnels and they could lead anywhere. But she knew for sure the left one lead outside towards the bridge that connected the buildings. Her hand gripping her sword while she tried to think.
"Under no circumstances mention his name. Just by the sound of his name he can be summoned."
"Right. Fine then if I can't find him, make him come to me." Y/n smiled, running off to the left tunnel. There that tunnel lead her down to the bridge that connect the ruins to the land. She stopped near the edge, then turning to face the ruined buildings. The sky was dark while the wind blew through her cheeks. The ice cold air pierced through her skin but she ignored it. She stood in a fighting stance, the shield in front of her while her sword she held was ready for battle.
"Namjoon!" She shouted. His name echoed through the eerie air. It was quiet for a moment, before rumbling was heard. Loud rumbling, the ground shook causing her to stumble. But she kept her balance even as the green smoke appeared surround her and the land. Y/n coughed, waving the smoke away from her face.
"I should've known!" He yelled, frustrated at the situation. If all honestly, Y/n only stood in that cell for about ten minutes at most before she was set free. She could only imagine how frustrated he was. Not her fault his body guard sucked. He appeared looking angry as ever. He pointed his staff towards her causing her to tense.
"This is the end of the line flower! I will not let you go to him!" His voice by now was sounding disoriented, shivers running up her spine. His eyes even glowed a bright green, as bright as the staff he wield.
"At least tell me why you hate him so much! He wasn't even a child when you cursed him!" Y/n yelled.
"Because his mother betrayed me and a token to her troubles I've cursed her son!" He shouted.
"Now enough! I'll making sure you never leave these walls!"
Now a cloud of green smoke circle around him. The sky turning green along with him. Y/n swallowed thickly, her eyes widening at his formation. The clouds were swirling around him nearly creating a tornado around himself. But suddenly the cloud disbursed, the sky whoever still green. The cloud cleared now revealing a large black dragon. The eyes green and glowing, his hands and feet had claws sharp. His king scaly tail flickered behind him as he stood in all fours. His black tongue slithered out like a snake, even released a hiss.
Y/n felt her legs turn into jelly. Now that she really thinks about it, shouldn't it be the man who saved the princess? Guess not in this case. Y/n shook her head, trying to pull herself together. Her hands trembling at the sight of the large black dragon. He already was tall, now he just became even taller. Y/n shook her head again, shaking off the nerves. But her hands couldn't stop trembling. She was scared but she refused to just stop here.
Her eyes now flickered towards the large beast that waited her. She forced her trembling hands to stop and grip onto her sword. Her eyes flickering a fire drowning out the fear that was hiding behind it. Y/n didn't waste another second and ran towards him, her sword up. She let out a yell while the dragon growled at her yelling. With a deep inhale, the dragon released green fire.
Barely Y/n slid down and dodged the fire. She rolled before jumping back up. Namjoon growled out and started using his large claws to thrash around. Y/n tried dodging them as much as she could. But as she rolled down to dodged one, she fail to miss one claw coming behind and slashed her side. Y/n screamed out in pain, but moved away before his hands could grasp her. Blood oozed out of her side, her breathing starting to get heavy.
"Sh*t sh*t! That hurts!" She gritted through her teeth, the pain extricating. She let out a dry chuckle when her eyes flickered towards him.
"Didn't think you had the guts to hurt a girl!"
"Your wrong I'm more than happy to kill one too if I have too." He hissed out, now standing on his hind legs.
"Ah sh*t." She whined out. He took another deep inhale signaling her that he was about to breathe out fire. Using her large shield, she placed it in front of her. Fire surrounded the shield, giving her enough time to wrap her wound with her ripped shirt. She bit her lip the moment she tied it, the pain becoming worse. Whatever. As long as she didn't pass out from the amount of blood she was losing.
Y/n jumped back up, placing the shield in front of her as she ran towards him. Now he turned, swinging his tail. Trying to crush her in the hard concrete. Y/n avoided them as much as she could, her breathing nearly getting shallow. But she tripped when she missed the last one. Her shield slipping from her fingers and falling off the edge. Y/n grunted, pushing herself upwards as she cursed underneath her breathe.
"Damn. There goes my shield." Y/n mumbled.
This caused her to lose track for a moment, Namjoon's tail hitting her gut and throwing her across one of the walls. Her back hit the wall causing her to wheeze. She huffed, her arm wrapped around her stomach. She coughed, throwing up blood. Y/n's breathing was now even more ragged and shallow. She coughed even more as more blood left her lips. Her body trembling, she was bruised and scratched. And she was pretty sure she sprained her ankle three different times and broke a couple of ribs.
Once again her hesitance caused the dragon to breath out fire. Y/n rolled away, her fingers still clasping on the sword. But her arm was a bit too slow and burned from the fire. She yelled out in pain, tears now prickling at the edges of her eyes. But she swallow the sob down. Everything was hurting. Her legs, her arms even her stomach ached begging for rest.
"Just give up! Your far too weak!" He hissed out, his tail standing above her as a warning. Y/n groaned, standing up with her arm around her stomach and her hand still grasping the sword. She limped towards him with a lazy smile, raising her sword to point at him.
"Me give up? You sound exactly like my dad and it's pissing me off. 'Y/n do this, do that.' 'Now remember Y/n your weak one in the marriage' 'give up your never going to marry your true love.' Damn are you secretly my dad?" Y/n giggled, but coughed afterwards. More blood left her lips but she merely wiped it away with her hand.
"You think this is a game?!"
"No. The fact I survive this long surprises me. But that's because I really want to see Taehyung. I was supposed to marry him you know. Then you just had to come along and ruin it." Y/n sighed, once again coughing afterwards. Her eyes still carrying the fire despite being so beat up.
"Now listen here, I could kill you. I truly could. I've slaughtered dragons before. Of course they weren't as big as you but still I know how too. That's enough to instill fear." Y/n face the sword down so she can lean to it. Her body feeling all wobbly and weak. She knew for a fact she was gonna pass out sooner or later. But she was too stubborn to die.
"Then what's stopping you?" He growled out, now standing on all fours, a bit intrigued by her logic. Y/n tiredly looked up at him, licking her bloody and busted lips.
"Simple. Your brother."
Now this caused the dragon to stiff, but he let out another growl.
"What nonsense are you talking about?!?"
Y/n sighed, coughing even more, her white shirt soaked with blood. The blood she lost was now catching up to her now that her body relaxed.
"Seokjin I think was his name. Pink fairy was your brother. The blue one mentioned how they couldn't kill you because your brother still cares for you. Now I don't know the whole details but assuming from what I picked up, you mentioned the Queen betrayed you. And I'm guessing you did something to upset your brother. So I'm just going off by a whim here. You fell in love with the Queen, but the Queen was already engaged with the king. Your brother didn't do anything about it which is why you hate him and the Queen. The Queen also loved you but was forced to marry the king anyway. Years later she has a son. Taehyung. You cursed Taehyung out of spite of your brother, the Queen and the king. You used the fact the Queen wanted to have peace with the fairies as a way to curse Taehyung." Y/n explained, even didn't even realize her eyes were getting hazy and that the fact Namjoon felt his anger slowly dispersed and was replaced with guilt.
"Now what Yoongi I think was his name, was trying to prove was that your hatred was wrong and only love can prevail. Now you don't know me and I don't know you, but I really don't want to kill you. Taehyung would hate it. He loves fairies and would be heart broken if I killed you, even if you did curse him." Y/n tried to blink away her haziness and focus on talking to the dragon.
"...just like the Queen."
"Exactly just like the Queen. Now please let me go save Taehyung before the curse is permanent. Please I just want to see Taehyung. I love him." Y/n whispered out, her voice fading out. Before she could even hear his next words, she passed out. All she remembers was the sound her name being called and blackness taking over.
Y/n woke up feeling air touch her face. Y/n furrowed her eyebrows, now fluttering her eyes open. Clouds all she saw was clouds. That immediately got Y/n to jerk up.
Wait clouds?!
"What!-"
"Calm down. We're just heading towards Taehyung." She heard the large beast rumble out. That's when she finally realized she was in the air, riding the dragon. Y/n cling onto one of his scales, her eyes wide. But it seem finally all the pain came rolling in. Y/n groaned, hiding her face into his face back with a sharp inhale. She felt like crying again. It hurt everywhere on her body.
"When we land, just ask Yoongi to heal you. He knows a spell that would take away the pain temporarily but you need lots of rest after you wake up Taehyung."
"Wait he's sleeping?"
"Yes. But the spell is not permanent yet. The sun has yet to set."
All Y/n did was nod, her body aching everywhere. She felt like crying out of relief and pain. At least she didn't have to slaughter the dragon. Despite a few broken ribs, Y/n thought it was completely worth it.
It was only mere minutes before they landed. He landed near on the towers that connected Taehyung's room. He dropped her off near a window as she slid in easily.
"Thank you. And make mends with your brother." Y/n huffed out. Namjoon snort out but nodded before flying away. Y/n with her best ability, ran up the stairs towards Taehyung's room. She was huffing air but contained to use her achy legs to drag her up the tower.
"Whoever decided it was best to put his room up here, imma murder you personally." Y/n growled out, before continuing to head up.
Finally she was by his doors after minutes of running up the long dreaded stairs. Y/n panted heavily, her fingers gripping the door knob. She felt her body slipping again.
"No! Stop just a bit more. You kiss that handsome sucker then sleep. Yeah Taehyung first then sleep." Y/n muttered to herself. She then pushed open the door, her arm once again wrapped around her stomach. Her legs wobbly as she walked towards his bed. He laid there, breathless and unscathed. Complete contrast to her bloody wounds and bruised skin. She saw the three fairies watch her with wide eyes.
"Y/n!-"
"Not now. Wake up Taehyung then sleep and healing." She said firmly. They didn't question her after that, letting her wobble towards Taehyung's bed. Her bum then hit the mattress, her chest heaving from the lack of air. He looked gorgeous just laying there. He didn't even look cursed just peaceful.
Y/n leaned towards his lips, her eyes fluttering close. She finally let her lips intertwined with his. It only lasted a moment but she felt life coming back to his skin. That's when she knew the kiss worked. She pulled back, her eyes still close, before she fluttered them open. Then at the moment she was met with his, they shined and sparked the same way they met.
"Y-Y/n?" He croaked out. Y/n smiled, and gave a small wave.
"Hey Tae."
His eyes flickered from surprise to worry. His eyes scanning her injured form. He immediately sat up the moment he saw her swaying. Y/n crashed into his chest, her body feeling heavy. Now the tears she kept the whole time finally broke through. But they were happy tears. Happy to be in his arms once again. His arms instinctively wrapped around her. He looked at his older brothers for answers but gave him none.
"Y/n?"
She only hummed out, her chin resting on his chest to face him. He parted his lips to say something but she beat him to it.
"Did you like the kiss?" Y/n whispered out. Taehyung blinked but let out a quiet chuckle. His hand coming up to pet her hair in a gentle way.
"Yes. Now rest my love. When you wake up I'll still be on set to marry you."
Y/n giggled tiredly, now hiding her face into his chest, her arms weakly wrapping around his waist.
"Good. I love you."
"I love you too my love."
-the end
That was a lot longer than I intended that to be and this is literally the longest I've ever written and took me three days. Wow. Well hope you enjoy it!
