hoseok

siren
pirate au

It was cold, the wind harshly blowing through the beach shore. The waves roaring and crashing onto the shore without mercy. The snow fell like powder sugar onto the land. The sky grey and gloomy like the snow and wind. The sea bitter as it roared along with the wind.

A woman with purple scales crawling up her cheeks and neck was sitting on the rough rock by the shore. Her long purple tail laid besides her sparkling despite the lack of sun. Her hair long and brushing against her waist. Her purple hue scales danced around her waist to her breast to her cheeks covering all the necessary features. Her eyes closed and her fingers long with purple claws tapped against the rock. Her teeth white and sharp ready to devour whatever came it's way. Her lips parted as a luring melody escaped her pipes. Despite the cold and snow, the woman didn't feel the slightest discomfort.

Her vocals were smooth and dripped like honey. Even in the cold it felt warm with her luring honey like voice. She sang and sang as her honey voice capture the attention of a pirate. The man had brown curly hair and honey coned skin. His cheeks red from the cold and his sea blue eyes searched through the cold. Her honey voice luring him to his unexpected doom. His eyes flickered a purple shade meaning he was completely under the control of the siren.

Just why was that voice so memorizing? It seem that was the only thing the pirate thought of. Hearing his footsteps, the siren flickered her glowing soft violet eyes to the pirate walking towards her. Her voice suddenly becoming stronger, softer than velvet and her eyes turning hazy. The pirate stopped right in front of her in a hazy trace. Her fingers gently cupped the Pirates cheeks with the same hazy stare.

Her lips closed as her song finished. He was such a handsome man the siren almost wanted to let him go. Truth be told she didn't really see the whole hyped about devouring the humans soul. What was so fascinating about the taste of the humans broken heart? She never understood it but her brothers urged to never question it and hunt humans as she should.

She was quite different from all the other sirens. Never really finding the joy of feasting on the heartbroken pirates or men who linger around the shore. Her brothers precisely, 2 others, were princes underwater. They came from a ocean called Serendipity. Though it name sounded beautiful it was far from it. Sirens lurked there ready to feast on any unsuspecting prey that fell into their hands. It near the caves of Blue Side, where crystals reside. Because of the ever flowing grow of crystals near the cave, many pirates seek there only to be lure into the sirens trap.

Just like now, this poor man was near Blue Side caves not knowing the dangers of it. But the purple siren was hesitant. He was fairly handsome, his jaw sharp and his skin fair. He was a natural honey glow. He was still dazed but he had the sea blue eyes. Even though hers changed color, she was quite jealous of his ocean eyes.

The siren sighed, she didn't feel the hunger to devour him.

"This is wrong. He's just heartbroken there's no reason to eat him." The siren then placed her lips against his to break her luring spell. His blue eyes got rid of the purple hue and returned back to normal. The siren immediately slide back into the waters. She only kept her head up as she hid behind the rock. Her hair floating into the water, as her eyes scan the handsome pirate.

The man blinked, standing in the cold. He furrowed his eyebrows in confused as he search the beach. He was heavily confused. Just where was he?

"How did I get-?"

The siren felt terribly guilty for just leaving him there and decided to speak up.

"Your near the caves of Blue side. This is Serendipity." She spoke behind the rock. The man whipped his head towards the rock a bit startled. He started to walk towards the rock with curious eyes.

"No! Stop!"

The man halted in his tracks with wide eyes.

"Huh-?"

"Stay there! Don't come near! It's for your own good!" The siren spoke.

"But why? Must I see the beautiful person who has such a sweet voice? You've told me where am I and I'm thankful for it. Though I don't remember traveling this far, I must've been sleeping." The man scratched behind his head in bewilderment with his last statement. A blue hue danced around her cheeks at the sudden complement. Sure sirens are naturally beautiful but the siren couldn't help be flustered at the complement coming from such a handsome name.

"It's just for your safety. The waves and currents are very dangerous to be close to. It's best for you to remain there." She explained. The man was stubborn and continued to walk towards the large bolder.

"It's fine just please let me see your face, if that's the case why are you near the waves? Unless your a sir-"

His words got stuck on his throat the moment he looked behind the boulder. The siren froze once her eyes met his ocean blue ones. Her hands gently placed on the boulder, her hair floating near her shoulders.

"S-Siren." He swallowed, taking a step back only for him to trip backwards and crash into the sand. He was too scared to make a single noise. His mouth gaped open as he continued to stare at her form. The siren bit her lip between with her fangs. She felt her lip quiver at his reaction.

"Y-Yes."

"That means-Your the one who lure me here! Now I remember! I was at a bar when I heard a sweet voice telling me to head towards the caves! Men have warned me to not go near those caves for it has sirens! You! Were gonna eat me!" He shouted, drawing out his sword. The siren jerked back in the water with wide eyes. The man was now standing, pointing the sword towards her face. She held her hands up with tears blurring her vision.

"No! I wasn't! That's why I let you go! I don't have the stomach too!"

"Lies! Sirens are known to be sneaky with their tongues! Only splatting lies and things the human wants to hear!" The man splat, pointing the sword closer towards her face.

"I'm telling the truth I swear! Please sir! I'm telling the truth!" She cried, tears fell from her eyes but the moment they touched the water, pearls were formed. This caught the man's attention.

Sirens cry pearls

It was something not many pirates nor man knew. Sirens never cry in front of man and only seek them to devour their bodies. Sirens were known to be cold blooded and had very little feelings. Hence why he was surprise to see pearls come from her tears the moment they left her skin. Now this truly was captivity towards the greedy pirate. He drew back his sword, walking closer towards the siren.

"I'm Jung Hoseok, and as a pirate greedy thing, I will kidnap you."

That was the last thing she heard before he blew a mysterious powder in her face. She coughed trying to swat it away but it was no use she inhaled it and passed out before she could even think about it.

🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

"Are you sure Hoseok?"

"I am. I saw with my eyes how she cried pearls from her eyes."

"But I've never heard such a thing!"

"What kind of siren cries anyway from a sword? Don't they have the upper hand?"

Too many voices were echoing in the sirens ears. She groaned, silencing the voices around her. She fluttered her eyes open to see what the whole deal was. Her body felt, heavy. She felt drained and most importantly, hot. Too hot.

Just how long did they leave her out of the water?

Y/n, that was her name, could barely move. She was chained from her wrists and her mouth not only had cloth around her slips to keep her from singing but a muzzle too. She couldn't even sit up, her chains kept her from moving at all.

"So, your up?"

A man with blonde hair spoke, his grey eyes burned through her skull. Y/n's eyes were heavy and her breathing was slowly becoming ragged. She needed water. Now.

"Not like she can answer hyung, she's silenced. Sorry pearl but we can't have you luring us into our deaths." A man with messy blue hair spoke. She didn't even move at his response. What they did notice however was how ragged her breathing got. It sounded like she was gasping for air. A man with soft brown hair kneel down to her limp body to press his hand against her forehead. Once again she didn't even react all she could think about was water.

"Crap. Captain she's gonna need water! She's drying up!" The man yelled. The blonde man nodded at his words, turning his head to face a male with navy blue hair.

"Jimin, get a bucket of water. Hurry."

The said male didn't hesitate, hastily leaving wherever Y/n was.

"Why not let her dry up? It would do us a favor." A man with black hair snort out. Her eyes traveling towards the pale male with tired eyes. She honestly wouldn't mind, she would rather die than be in the hands of men. Surely her brothers wouldn't miss her nor would anyone really care once she disappears. She hoped her body would shrivel up before they bring the bucket of water. And it seem her body was doing just what that. She was slowly curling into a ball, her breathing became more heavy and her scales nearly turned grey. Her body felt on fire, the pain was unbearable, she was literally dying. Tears were starting to build up in her eyes but she refused to let them fall off.

Once again the male with brown hair, touched her forehead. His own hands felt cool against her heating body.

"She's dying! She needs water fast! Wheres Jimin!?"

"He's still getting it! She at least needs two buckets! Can't you do something to keep her alive!?"

"I can't! She needs water! Lots of it! Why didn't you guys prepared for it like I asked!?"

"Hey! Jungkook was supposed to do it not me!"

Their voices were getting faded, her eyes turning grey. Everything was starting to blurry in her line of vision. But it seem fate had other plans. A male picked her up, running towards wherever. She whimpered, hoping the man wouldn't make it. Her vision was too blurry to see who it was but she hoped her body would give up before then.

She thought too soon.

The man gently placed her in the salty water. She gasped, swimming back up to the surface with wide eyes. Unfortunately her wrist was still tied and her mouth still covered but her original color returned. The man held her arm gently to keep her from swimming away and from being drifted away by the waves. Her tired eyes looked up to finally see who cursed her back to life.

Jung Hoseok.

Her eyes were heavy and a tired. Her heart sank when her eyes laid upon him. She wished she died, she didn't want any of this. Y/n adored humans yet they treated her like this, only wanting her alive for her Pearl tears. Her tired eyes drifted back to the water, growing more heavy the longer she stared.

Hoseok stared at her weak form, his hand still tightly but softly gripping her forearm. He was expecting her to swim off or even squirm a little. But she didn't, she remained perfectly still. Just what kind of siren was she? She had the strength to swim off and fight back, yet she stood here frozen and weak. What a strange creature.

"Good job Hoseok! Sent her back to the house! We still have to load the ship before we depart!" A booming voice shouted. Hoseok looked over his shoulder, giving his leader a nod before flickering his gaze down at the siren again.

"Sorry but we need you alive. Those pearls can help us with our financial problem." He gently lifted her off the water, then wrapping his arms around her waist to keep her in place. Y/n didn't say anything, not like she could anyway. She only nodded weakly, with hazy eyes. He then stood up now placing her body over his shoulder. She wanted to sleep more than anything. Most likely they would put her in a tank once they sail. Y/n was not looking forward to it.

And she was right.

She was shoved in a tank that was surprisingly big enough for her. But the top was sealed and only opened from the outside. The only way to open the lock was a key Hoseok had at all times. That didn't matter to her, she was still far too weak to even attempt to bust it open. In the moment Y/n regretted never hating humans. Her body depended on broken souls to fix theirs and because for many years she denied them, her body was crumbling.

There only a certain amount of time she was allowed on the surface before her body reacted the way it did but it was even lesser time with her body being as fragile as it is. She didn't consume them but other foods like fish and algae. This cost her body to be fragile and weak. It would take her a while to recover.

The tank was faced in their cabin. Yes they all had one giant cabin they all slept in with separate beds. It made it easier to watch her, they claimed. She also knew that besides the captain, the crew feared six other men. Yes even Hoseok. She figured their names out of boredom. The blonde and captain was Kim Namjoon. The kind doctor who had brown hair was Kim Seokjin. The mean black haired man who looked like he wouldn't hesitate to kill her, was Min Yoongi. The navy blue hair flirty male was named Park Jimin. The crazy blue hair man who was a cook, was named Kim Taehyung. Then the youngest who had chestnut hair was named Jeon Jungkook. And finally the man she met that lead her to her absolute doom was Jung Hoseok.

The crew taunted her. Not the Seven men, they wouldn't even glance at her unless they needed pearls. However, whenever the seven men weren't looking the crew would bang against her glass, tried to open the seal to touch her and call her disgusting things. They would whistle at her, say disgusting things about her, about what they wanted to do to her weak form.

It scared her.

This was probably the reason why sirens hated man.

They were disgusting to say the least. Y/n hated when one was forced to feed her or when the seven men had to anchor their ship and stepped out. No one watched her and the crew would slipped in the room just to taunt her. There's been too many cases where they almost opened her seal. It was getting terrible, she wanted them to stop. Why couldn't at least one of the seven men stay with her?

But what if they were all the same?

That's what reframed her from asking one of the men. She feared their answer and feared for her life. So she never did and kept to herself, laying on the bottom of the tank with hopelessness raising in her chest. They never really had to force her to cry, she did it enough just in the tank alone. One thought about her home was enough to make her weep for hours. The pearls would float up on the surface of the tank and that's how they would grab it with their greedy hands. She was alone and wanted nothing more but to die.

It's been about two months since her kidnap. Y/n was facing the opposite direction of her tank where it was facing the wall. She didn't want to see nor hear the men that banged against the other side of the glass. Her flippers were over her ears as she hummed to herself a tune. Anything to tune out the beasts that wanted to devour her. The seven men were gone, something about selling her pearls to a prince? She didn't know nor care. But she did want them back already so the men would scramble out of here and leave her alone. They were just taking longer than usual and she worried the men would open her tank before then.

"Oh come on! Beautiful look over here! Let me see those breast!" A man shouted with a laugh. Y/n curled into a ball, feeling bare underneath the gazed of these disgusting men. Even though she had scales that covered her parts from men. Only if she turned human would they see and Y/n refuses to turn herself human for her own sake.

"You have nothing to hide! We don't bite!"

"I don't know what your talking about but I'll bite over all that!"

"Come on turn this way Angel!"

"Please if I knew all sirens looked looked like this, I would've slept with one a long time ago!"

"We know you can transform into a human! Don't be shy show us sweetie!"

"Guys! I found the key for the seal!"

Y/n immediately sat up with wide eyes. All the men laughed and high five the man. Y/n pushed herself against a corner once the disgusting man approached her tank. He licked his lips as he stared at her body with lust.

Click!

The lock fell on the wooden floor causing a soft thump. Y/n felt her tears building up in her eyes, her breathing quicken. Her eyes watched in an agonizing pace as they finally opened the lid of the tank. His dirty hands yanked her out of the tank. Y/n squirmed and hissed at them, for once she was fighting for her life. She refused to let them have their way with her.

"Stop squirming you b*tch!"

Y/n hissed at them, flopping around, wacky her tail to smack their faces. The man was getting angry, turning towards the other men.

"Hold her down!"

Not even a second later she felt multiple hands hold her down. The man who opened the lid smirk seeing her chest pressed down on the wooden floor with her cheek pressed against the same floor and her hands pressed against her back. She looked and felt weak which she hated. Despite of feeling of hopelessness she felt for days, she wanted to fight for life at the moment more than anything. She then felt multiple weights against her back causing her to wheeze out. Her breath was ragged, her tail flopping around the ground like a fish. But all it took was two hands to hold her tail down. The man then grabbed her hair and tugged her head back. She hissed again, more tears pooling her eyes.

"Let m-me go!" She growled out, that only got a slap out of them. The other men laughed at her pain while the same one who pulled her hair, gripped even tighter on her locks. She winced in pain, shutting her eyes to stop the tears that wanted to fall.

"No. Now be a nice fishy and stay still. Turn into a human for me come on."

Y/n hissed at him, her cheek swollen and her body in pain. His free hand roughly grabbed her chin with a lustful stare.

"Now now, don't be so difficult and just do it."

His nasty breathed hit her nose causing her to scrunch her nose in disgust. She hissed at him again but he merely laughed at her before roughly shoving her chin away.

"Now just stay still and enjoy-"

A blood curling scream erupted his throat not even a second later. Y/n froze, blooding splattered on her cheek and fins. Out of fear, her body morphed into a human body. She covered herself, luckily her hair covering her important parts. She was scared, scared another man was going to cut her open like the man in front of her. The man held his hand, blood dripping down his arm with a knife still pierced through it. Everyone grew quiet, only the wails of a man was heard. Then the thudding sound of rubber boots was heard throughout the room.

Hoseok stood over the wailing man with cold eyes. The men holding her down immediately disbursed from her. Y/n didn't move from her spot, still splashed of blood tainting her skin. Hoseok kneeled down to her beaten form, his hand gently stroking behind her head where the man pulled her hair. His eyes then trailed down to her nude form. He shook his head in disbelief before shrugging off his coat and placing his coat around her nude form. His hand than gently laid her head against his chest in a protective manner. Her cheek pressed against his chest. She looked up only to find his eyes staring down at the men in the room.

"Would someone care to explain why the Pearl is out of her tank and in her human form?" His voice was calm yet dangerous. His ocean blue eyes glaring at the men. The man who slapped her earlier was still weeping from the pain. Her eyes widening at the amount of blood oozing out of his hand. Her eyes flickering towards Hoseok, wondering if he was the one who threw the knife.

One of the men cleared his throat with a nervous smile. Hoseok's gaze flickered at him with a burning rage. His fingers gently massaging the back of her head. Y/n didn't really understand why he acted like this but didn't protest against it. He was warm and he was handling her so gently she nearly fell asleep against him. The way his fingers pressed against her temple made her feel protective, really this confused her but she shrugged it off.

"You see H-Hoseok, she was able to escape from her c-cage. So when Norman came in here we found her out of her tank and n-naked. We were only trying to put her back in her tank before you guys arrived so it's just one big misunderstanding Sir." The man chuckled nervously, trying to not let his eyes focus on the said male who was holding his bloody hand. He was also avoiding staring at the naked girl in front of him, Hoseok's stare said it all.

Y/n stiffen, her lips parted to speak to defend herself but only for Hoseok to gingerly pulled her chin up and faced towards the men around them.

"So this bruise? Is nothing? Is not a slap from a brute? Do you really think I'm dumb? I walked in, you pulling her hair and telling her to just enjoy it. Do you really think I'm a fool?!" He yelled, his eyes flickering a rage in them. He then snapped his head towards the male who held his bloody hand.

"Only a siren turns human out of fear of being caught! In this case she turned human out of fear from you! Do you deny this?!" Hoseok snapped. Norman's lips trembled in fear, his good hand clutching onto his bloody hand.

"N-no sire! I admit! I w-wanted to c-court her-"

Hoseok threw his head back in laughter, startling everyone in the room. Even Y/n buried herself into his chest out of fear. Hoseok was almost caught off guard from her action but quickly shook it off. He stood up, his hands picking up the siren in bridal form.Y/n squeaked, hiding herself deeper into his chest.

"Am I a fool to you!?! Do you think I'm dumb!?"

"No! S-Sire!" Norman whimpered.

"Then do you really think I believe you when you saw you were just going to 'court' her?" Hoseok asked with narrowed eyes. The man quickly shook his head in fear, his body shaking but the man in front of him showed no mercy with his eyes. Hoseok clenched his jaw, tilting his head towards the door.

"Seokjin!"

"Yeah yeah I'm coming." Seokjin sighed, walking through the doors. He then walked beside Hoseok with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah mate?"

"Can you make sure she has no injures? It appears I have to punish some of our crew. I think they forgot about our policies on women. Do you mind Hyung?" Hoseok asked. Seokjin chuckled with a beaming eerie smile that made everyone in the room shiver.

"I don't! Have fun! I'll just take out little Pearl and head off! Namjoon's coming and I'll gladly spare him the news!" Seokjin giggled, taking the siren from his arms. Y/n now placed her cheek against his chest, flickering her purple hue eyes towards Hoseok. She felt much warmer with him. She whimpered the moment his warmth disappeared. Hoseok perked his head, facing the woman.

"Oh don't worry little Pearl, you'll see me again. After all, you are my catch." Hoseok pat her head before facing towards the scared crew. The crew huddle together, scared for what punishment Hoseok had in mind. Seokjin adjusted her slightly before leaving the room all together. Y/n then flickered her gazed towards the handsome man.

"Don't worry Hoseok means it." Seokjin said once again with an eerie smile. Y/n thinned her lips, she really thought Seokjin was the normal one. It appeared she was wrong. The eerie look he was giving when the mention of a punishment left shivers run up her spine in fear. A deadly reminder to not angry these men.

Hours passed, now she was back in the cabin they had on their ship. She was currently in the bath tub. Her purple pointy ears being the only thing that reminded people of her being a siren. Her nose twitched at the floral smell that came from the bathtub. Seokjin moved her here the moment the crew was kicked out and on the deck for their remaining punishment. The rest of seven men came back, furious but not at her. And it appeared Hoseok was the most furious of them all. Y/n didn't really understand way though, he didn't even like her when they first met. Or more precisely when he first found out she was a siren.

Y/n played with the water, a little purr erupting from her throat. The water felt warm which is something her cold blood needed. Warmth.

"So you like the flowers?"

Y/n made a surprise click noise, her wide eyes flickering at the person. Hoseok stood near the wall with a soft smile. Y/n blinked, sinking her head underneath the water. Only her nose above the water and her fingers that linger on the bathtub rim.

"Well, do you?" Hoseok asked, walking near her bathtub but not close enough to see anything. Y/n nodded shyly, raising her chin above the water now.

"Yes. V-Very warm and smells good." Y/n said softly. Hoseok beamed, his eyes carrying a light she's never seen before.

"Good! I read somewhere that sirens love warm things! It's cause-"

"Our blood runs cold." Y/n finished. Hoseok smiled and nodded.

"Yup! Which is why I always tell the others to give you warm water but they never listen to me!" Hoseok sighed, scratching behind his neck. Y/n only nodded slowly, quiet unsure if this was really the same man who threw a knife at someone.

"Have you turned back into a siren yet?" Hoseok suddenly asked. Y/n blinked but shook her head.

"No. It takes a while. My body is really weak from the lack of food so it's going to be a while for me to recover." Y/n explained softly, her eyes facing the water that rippled at her movements. Hoseok hummed, shoving his hands in his leather pants pockets.

"I figure."

Y/n furrowed her eyebrows, now moving her eyes to face the male.

"You don't feed on humans. Your body isn't used to that so it weakens each time you deny that hunger. I figured out that when I splash water on you when we first met. You don't swim away nor lure us with your vocals. I realized you were no harm when we let your muzzle off. Also you never looked angry just incredibly sad. Lonely even. I told the guys to stop being cautious of you a while ago. Your completely harmless." Hoseok shrugged. Y/n thinned her lips and nodded.

"I stopped feeding humans since I was a guppy. I never liked the fact we take broken souls to fix ourselves. We are the cursed ones who envy the humans. That's why we feed upon them. Mainly men. Have you heard heard the story of how sirens came to be?" Y/n asked.

Hoseok shook his head, intrigued.

"Well, originally sirens were mermaids. And do you know where the story of mermaids come from?"

Hoseok hesitated before speaking.

"It's because of man. Women grew sick and tired of the way man treated them and flee to the seas where the waves and storms protect them. But they said some women were trapped and left on land."

"Right. But, those women left behind screamed for the mermaids to save them from man. So they did, but lure man into their dooms. This upset the seas since they were becoming the very thing men were. Monsters. Bloody thirty monsters. So the mermaids who were bloodthirsty were cursed into sirens. Always craving the broken hearted men and fixing their souls. That's why sirens crave the sailors souls. I never did though. I don't know why it just doesn't satisfied me. Doing this to my body is dangerous of course, now I'm weak and could barely defend myself." Y/n sighed, twirling her strand of hair between her finger.

"Well that's okay, I can protect you."

Y/n blinked, turning her head to face the strange male in front of her. She really couldn't understand him.

"Um Mr Jung-"

"Just call me Hoseok."

"-Hoseok? Um why are you protecting me? I mean I know I help you guys financially so I suppose that's why?" Y/n asked, becoming more unsure about the situation. Hoseok thinned his lips, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I'll answer that question when your done bathed. I'm still a pirate and I'm not going to lie I'm very distracted right now. So how about I answer that when your fully clothed." Hoseok said, turning his head so he wasn't facing her. His cheeks growing rosy at his statement. Y/n blushed, her cheeks getting coated with a purple hue another thing that she kept despite being human.

"R-right. Sorry."

"No my apologies I got too excited to know if you liked the flowers or not and now, I just remembered your naked." Hoseok coughed nervously. He turned his heel and opened the curtain that gave her privacy and shutting it close.

"Take your time!"

That was the last words Y/n heard before she heard a door shutting. Y/n soon got off the tub, a towel wrapped around her body with the purple blush dusting her cheeks. That was embarrassing she must admit. Y/n quickly dried herself up and got dressed. Since this was a boat filled with men, Y/n wore men clothes. It was a white dress shirt that was loose and tucked in her trousers that fit her a bit too loose. But she could mange. She wore a silver belt around her hips to keep the pants up. Then sliding in some socks and rubber boots. Her hair was in a braid as she walked cautiously out of the room.

Her eyes scanned around the room, her fingers tightly clutched on the door knob. Everything was quiet. For a moment. A scream startled her, her wide eyes staring at a door that led to the deck. For whatever reason, the scream told her to stay where she was.

"Well mate, I think that's enough. He still needs his hands to work, ye don't ya?"

Y/n recognized that voice. It was Taehyung's deep voice that spoke behind the door. She heard someone scoff.

"Whatever. Just let him rot in the dungeon and see whatever happens with the Cap." Hoseok snorted. Y/n walked towards the door, shyly opening it. That startled the two men who stood in front of the door.

"Geez! Sneaky little vixen aren't ya Pearl?" Taehyung asked with a heavy sigh. Y/n gave a shy nod, her fingers playing with the doorknob. The two tall man blocked her view so she couldn't see where the scream came from.

"Good! Your all dressed now! And Hyung said your in the clear so! Let's speak Pearl!" Hoseok beamed with a charming smile. Y/n furrowed her eyebrows and before she could even speak, he took her wrist and went back in the room earning a chuckle of Taehyung.

"Have fun Pearl~"

Y/n wanted to question it but was forced in the room she just came out of.

"Um Hoseok?"

Hoseok hummed, locking the door before facing her.

"Yes Pearl?"

"It's Y/n-"

"I'm aware but I like Pearl better. But it's not because you produce pearls from your tears but more because you are rare as one." Hoseok said, walking towards on the beds present in the room. He sat down while Y/n followed him like a lost puppy. Her eyes watching his movements.

"Well I was just wondering, what was that scream?" Y/n asked. Hoseok stopped his movements, flickering his soft gaze towards her.

"The scream? Oh don't worry about it Pearl. Just be rest assured none of those men will do any harm towards you anymore. We have policies about how we treat women. Despite you being a siren it still applies. We don't tolerate disrespectful behavior for women. We all respect and loved our mothers so we would never treat a lady any less." Hoseok hummed, laying back in the soft mattress. Y/n leaned against a wall with a nod.

"Then can you answer my other question?"

Hoseok sat up, his elbows supporting his weight. He tilted his head back to move his bangs out of his face while his sea blue eyes flicker to stare at her.

"Ah from our earlier conversation. Sure Pearl. I'll just state it plain and simple. No need to beat around the bush. I like you."

Y/n blinked, pushing herself off the wall with a puzzled expression.

"Pardon?"

Hoseok bounced off the bed with a hum, running his fingers through his hair.

"Pearl, little Angel, I meant what I said. I've liked you for a while. Now don't be all hasty about it, I don't expect you to return the feelings I just figured since you ask I'll answer." Hoseok explained, shoving his hands in his pockets with a relax expression.

"O-oh. Well um that's certainly not what I was expecting. But I thought you-"

"Hated you? Sure might've and seriously thought you cast a spell on me. But the more I saw you and the more I observed you, I was starting to realize I was gaining those messy feelings again. Really I'm honestly disappointed in myself, two months and half later I'm once again swoon for a women. And not just any, a siren." Hoseok chuckled. Y/n thinned her lips, this really wasn't expecting. She didn't even know what to say.

"W-Well um but why did you-"

"Stuff you in a tank? Don't worry that's actually why I came back quickly as possible. I was going to free you from the tank it's humane if I left you there. So I I spoke with my crew and they agreed. They already know so don't sweat about it. It just made me incredibly angry my own crew were trying to fool around with my catch. Can't really blame though. We still are men, who've been at sea far too long." He tapped her chin with a teasing smile. Y/n blinked and lightly smacked his fingers away.

"At least give me the curtsy to finish my sentences."

Hoseok threw his head back in laughter, once again tapped underneath her chin with his two fingers.

"Sorry Pearl."

"Either way I'm well aware your men were-deprived of that. It's the reason why I hated it when you guys left. They only feared you and not me. Even if I sang, I didn't have the strength nor stomach to depose of them." Y/n sighed.

"Now no need to be sad Pearl. You have me now, and I will protect you from those men. Now don't worry your sweet pretty head about it. You have the protection of a pirate." Hoseok grinned, using his index finger and thumb to lift up her chin. Y/n furrowed her eyebrows.

"But my brothers has always told me pirates are the far worse than man on land. Men in seas are far more deadlier than disease."

"Brothers? You have brothers? I thought all sirens were women?"

Y/n pulled her chin from his grasp and shook her head.

"Now that's a misconception. Not all sirens are women there's men too. Men are far more rare since it's mostly a female dominated society but men do exist in the siren world. My brothers currently rule in the waters. I'm their youngest sister, Princess Y/n."

Hoseok gaped, his eyes wide.

"Your a princess?!"

"Yes. Only Princesses are colors besides blue and green. I'm purple. A rare color but it's what the first sirens colors were. That's why my fins and ears are purple. Oh! And my blush!" Y/n exclaimed happily, pointing to her cheeks. Now Hoseok grew more intrigued, giving her a smirk.

"Your blush is purple?"

"Yup! I have purple blush! And sparkles too!"

"Can I see?"

"I suppose. But I'm not sure ho-"

Hoseok didn't waste another moment and slid his large hand in her waist. Y/n blinked, his movements cutting off her sentence. He leaned in close towards her face, his breath mixing in with hers. His nose tickling against hers, their lips inches away. Y/n flickered her eyes down at his large hand, while his other hand slid up against mid of her back. Y/n felt a shiver ran up her spine. No one has ever touched nor been this close to her. She's a siren after all, everyone runs in fear of her scales and singing voice.

"I know pirates are greedy but god I think it's a sin wanting you." He mumbled, his stare getting hazy. Y/n felt heat crawl up her cheeks, creating the purple hue Hoseok wanted to see. Sparkles covering her cheeks like freckles and reaches up to her pointed purple ears. His lips were getting closer, causing Y/n to hold her breath. There's just no way a pirate, a man was going to steal her first kis-

"Aww! Your right! You have a purple blush!"

Hoseoks loud voice startled her, causing her to jerk backwards with wide eyes. Caught red handed. Hoseok had a beaming smile, his hands now placed on her heated cheeks.

"It's fascinating! Also strangely cute!" Hoseok chuckled. Y/n shook her head, trying to pull herself together. Her hands placed on his chest to push him back. Now touching her own heated cheeks with a pout.

"No it's not! Don't do that!"

"Why because you thought I was gonna kiss you?"

"No! Can you just-! Your confusing! And weird! You pirates are worse than man!"

"Woah hey now! Now I'm not! I'm just teasing Pearl!"

"Yeah well I don't like it!" Y/n huffed, turning her heel to leave the room. Hoseok however, snatched her wrist and jerked herself backwards. He pulled her back in his arms with mischievous smile of his own.

"Now now Pearl, don't be like that. I was gonna kiss you. This I can confirm. I'm just messing with ya."

Y/n scrunched up her nose, her hands on his chest to push him back.

"I don't wanna hear it! You pirates are just insane! Sinners! Thieves!"

Hoseok gave a grin, his lips close with hers again. His large hands gently gripped her waist causing her to squeak at the sudden pressure. With that, he finally pulled her in a soft kiss. Their lips locked and pressed against each other. Y/n once again made another noise of surprise before melting in. Her body relaxing but a bit stiff. Only because this was her first time kissing. Hoseok chuckle in the kiss, causing her face to have the familiar purple hue.

"Relax Pearl, don't be so tense."

Y/n could only nod mindlessly, her eyes hooded and focusing on his lips. He pulled right back in, their lips getting lost in each other's warmth. Y/n for a second, a moment forget she wasn't human and felt incredibly warm. Warmth spread through her chest, causing it to swell up with warmth. She loved and craved it. Warmth.

Finally air was becoming a need, pulling back the pirate lazily stared at the flush siren. Who knew a siren could submit to the very thing it tried to define. Hoseok have a cocky grin, his eyes flickering warmth and adoration. Y/n bit her lip as she stared at his warm eyes, once again embracing the idea of never being a siren and just adopt to human culture instead. She was already ready to risk it for the pirate in front of her.

"Your right. I am sinner, how else could a person love a siren? Im mad, I don't care what you call me. Just let me call you mine. Not my catch, nor anything of that sort. Just mine. My Pearl."
