"Welcome bey fans! To the semi-finals for the nationals!" Was announced as the battle was about to begin. "First, in the red corner, he's one of the spin Emporer and all the girls drool over, Shu Kurenai!" Shu's door opens and smoke comes out as he walks over to the stadium. "Next, in the blue corner, she has done her best to beat the Supreme 4 many times and might get lucky this time, her father is a legend, Kerindia Tategami!" and her door opens and she comes out, being determined. She smiles gently at him. "No hard feelings if I win?" she asked him. "You don't think you will?" Shu asked Kerindia shrugs and smiles. "I could win, I could lose, but I'll be happy either way because I'm battling you," she said and smiles gently. And Shu gently blushed, and he was then in his little world, only him and her. He saw her smile disappear and she looked determined. "Ready? Set!" the ref yelled, and Shu focused. I am going to win... he thought. "3, 2, 1, LET IT RIP!" Kerindia and Shu launch their beys into the stadium.

After a while, Pegasus had bursted Spryzen. "Yes!" she yelled in excitement. Shu didn't seem happy as he got Spryzen back together and gets ready. "2nd battle! Ready? Set! 3, 2, 1, LET IT RIP!" was yelled as the two bey crash around together in the stadium. "Counter break!" Shu yelled. "Stampede launch!" Kerindia yelled as the two beys collied. Spryzen was strong, but Stampede launch beat its counter break, and Spryzen bursts again. "Storm Pegasus with a burst finish, Kerindia Tategami wins!" the announcer said. "I DID IT!" she yelled with excitement, she then saw Shu. He was on his knees. I failed... he thought, Kerindia goes over and hugs him. "Don't worry, next year, you'll win," Kerindia said with a soft smile. Shu looks at her and blushes. 

He looked into her beautiful emerald green eyes and knew...she had to be his. He wanted her...he needed her. He heard boys from the crowd cheering for her. That was not allowed, only he could chant her name, no one else. He was an emporer, and she was his empress. He couldn't, no...he won't let anyone take her from him.

After a bit, Kerindia and Shu got up, and Kerindia raised Shu's hand, and they both left the stage. As they were heading out, the bey club came over to them and Valt hugs Kerindia. "THAT WAS AWESOME COUS!" he yelled, Kerindia giggles and rubs his head. "Thanks," she said with a smile. "I knew you'd win." Wakiya said, Shu glared at the two males. They're lucky other people are near by...otherwise they'd be dead. Shu thought.

After a few hours, they went to Valt and Kerindia's house for some Bey Bread. They had a party almost. Shu seemed more quiet than usual. Toko and Nika go over to him. "You ok Shu?" Nika asked, Shu then got up and moved somewhere closer to Kerindia. "Huh?" the two little ones say in unison. Little did they know...that their idol was lovesick for their cousin...and could do anything at any moment....
