𝒊𝒊𝒊. here at hogwarts

It was noisy and crowded, and that's what' making Ariel frustrated. King's Cross station was peaked with people, kids, and their parents running toward the wall which caught Ariel's attention as she knows that's her stop. Walking to the middle of platform nine and ten, Ariel stared ahead.

"Hogwarts here I come." Words came out of the nervous guardian angel, who stepped her foot forward and ran forward into the wall, which leads her into a different world. The world of magic.

Opening her eyes when she felt someone staring at her. Following the stare, her eyes met a cold grey-blue dark one, frowning, he kept staring at her, not realizing how long he had been staring at the Angel in front of him.

"Can I help you with something?" She asked him, trying to be as polite as possible. As she felt uncomfortable under his stares.

"You look like someone I know."

Ariel nodded her head suspiciously. "Good. I hope that person is beautiful. Now If you excuse me Mr, I need to go to the train before it's too late."

He stopped her from walking away. "You're going to Hogwarts? I've never seen you before."

She faced him. "Aren't we all? And for that, because I'm new, this is my first year. Excuse me I have to go."

He stared at her as she walked towards the train and enter. Ariel felt a relief wash over her body. And lean against the wall. Seconds later, she wandered around the train, looking for compartments, an empty one, or has the least amount of people. Let's just say, Ariel isn't a social person.

Walking around, she found a nearly empty compartment. It only had three people. Knocking on the door and sliding in, the three people's attention were focused on her.

"Do you mind if I sit here?" She raised a question to the three teenagers.

A girl with brown bushy hair smiled softly at her. "Not at all."

"How come we've never seen you before?" The redhead boy sitting next to the bushy haired girl asked with a confused face.

"Cause I'm new?" Ariel answered like it's the most obvious thing in the world. She knew immediately that he's that kid. But that's wrong, she shouldn't be judging people. "I just received my letter."

"But aren't you a little bit too old to be in the First Year. That's sounded rude." The redhead asked again receiving a hit on the back of his head from the black-haired boy next to him. He rubbed the back of his head with winning sounds.

"That's very rude, Ron." The boy said and looked at the angel sitting in front of him. "He didn't mean it like that?"

Ron, that's his name. "It's okay, and yes I'm too old to be in the first year because I'm in the fourth year."

The girl's eyes lit up as she heard her saying that she's in the same year as them. "Really. Us too. By the way, I'm Hermione. That's Harry and Ron."

Harry. Harry Potter. The guy she was meant to protect, Is sitting in front of her. She stared deeply into his eye, leading Harry to shift uncomfortably. Ron and Hermione stared at the two of them back and forth.

         "You know each other?"

Ariel and Harry shook their head and looked anywhere but the other two people on the compartment. "You just look familiar."

"You've probably heard of him? You know the legendary, The boy who lived. Harry potter." Ron said dramatically. Harry rolled his eyes.

"No." She shook his head. "Sorry."

"That's a relief." Harry Potter whispered but Ariel heard him very well.

Hermione decided to change the subject to cut the tension between everyone and the awkward silence. "So, you said that you just received the letter. But, how? Aren't all witches and wizard are supposed to get the letters at the age of eleven? Just wondering."

Oh no. She has to make a lie, quickly. "Um, I was supposed to have my letter three years ago but my country was... under attack. There was a war happening in my country that stopped us all from witches and wizards to go to school. So yeah, that's why."

Seriously, Ariel?. She thought. Is that the only thing you could think about?

Silence fell upon them. "I'm so sorry."

Ariel couldn't help but feel awful for lying to them. "It's okay."

"Anything from the trolley dears?" A loud yet soft voice came through everyone's ears.

         Everything will be just alright.
