Lucy's POV

I hugged Natsu tight, all I cared about was being with him right now.

"Hey, why don't we go take a walk?" he asked. I nodded and wiped a tear away slowly.

"That would be great." I answered. We left the area, and we stopped along the river I usually walked on my way to and from home. We stopped and sat along the bricked ledge. I sighed and rested my head on his shoulder.

"It's nice out, Lucy," Natsu whispered. 

"Yeah." I agreed, smiling, "I miss the old days." I started, "When we weren't all caught up in this madness."

"That's true," he sighed. "It was so easy then." 

We stood up to leave, my mind filtered with all kinds of thoughts. Lisanna's evil laughter, her words, everything. The thoughts mixed up in my mind as I closed my eyes, and intertwined my fingers with Natsu's. I sighed as he looked at me; she stared into his eyes. Finally in a while I felt free, like we were the only ones that mattered. I stopped worrying for a while, and I actually had fun with Natsu Dragoneel.
