Chapter Sixteen
I stood in a bright white room with no shadows but my own behind me. I spun around slowly trying to find anything in this bare place, trying to remember why I was her or where I was, as I was turning slowly I remembered M-21 waking me up and giving me a back box and a card. I sighed when I remembered that when I touched the earing inside the box before everything goes black.
When I had completely turned in a circle, my eyes landed on a female figure that wasn't there a moment ago. I looked the person up and down seeing she had long brown hair that was up in a half ponytail while her baby hairs and the bottom of her brown locks. She had on a sleek dress with a long black skirt with a slit down the side. The top was a sheer black corset with rhinestones on the chest and around the waist in the front.
"I was wondering how long it would take you to get here," The female chuckled while turning fully around to reveal her face. I froze and my breath hitched when I saw who she was. A mischievous glint flashed through her eyes when she looked at me. "I have missed my beloved."
This woman in front of me had a slim face with high cheekbones. Her eyes were a bright green and her lips were painted a bright red.
She was me... but she didn't have the tribal marking I had.
"W-who are y-you," I stuttered out while taking a step back from my doppelganger. I heard her chuckled before vanishing in a blink of an eye. I looked side to side but I saw nothing until I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Don't tell me you don't recognize yourself," My twin whispered in my ear from behind. Out of instinct I quickly spun on my heel and tried to punch her. She grabbed my fist before it hit her and held my back like it was nothing. "Nice hook punch, but I know your every trick."
"Who or what are you and where the hell am I," I yelled at the brunette in front of me while yanking my hand out of her grasp. The female chuckled before taking a step to the left and started to walk around me.
"I am you for a long time ago," The female grinned while turning her back to me clasping her hands behind her back. She looked into the nothingness of white for a moment or two before sighing and turning only her head so I could only see half of her face. "Before you were taken from Raizel."
"What are you talking about," I yelled again taking a step towards her. I was so confused and a little scared. I didn't know where I was or who this chick was. "I was never with Cadis."
"No one ever said his full name," The female remarked with a smug grin. I raised an eyebrow at her making the female turn around to face me again, planting her hands on her hips. "Cadis Etrama Di Raizel, no one ever told you that was is the full name."
"Explain to me what is going on," I cried out making her look at me with pity. I ground my teeth together slightly while clenching my fists, irritated with this whole situation. "Since you act like you know so much about what's going on," I seethed while taking a step closer to the female who crossed her arms at me. " Tell me why I have these stupid dreams about him."
"Memories," the woman smiled while looking at me with soft eyes. I raised my eyebrow about to ask what that had to do with anything but she didn't give me a chance to speak. " Their not dreams their memories of times when you were with our Beloved."
"Why the hell would they be with Raizel," I screamed the female making her raise an eyebrow at me. "I have never met him before now."
"You don't remember," The female sighed before taking a step forward and grasping my forearm with great strength. "But that's my job: Make you remember," the female stated before a mischievous smile spread onto her lips.
"What are you-," I was cut off by her exploding into little star looking glowing things. They all flew towards me and got absorbed by my body making me tingly but weak. My legs gave out soon after while my head started to spin but not from being dizzy...
My head spun with memories....

I sat in an armchair upside down while reading a book called 'Strategize and formations of the Military.' I flicked the page just as the door opened and the sound of footsteps came closer to my relaxed form. A shadow soon blocked the light from my book making me sigh before closing said book.
"Is there something I can do for you, Frankenstein," I looked at the blonde male that was upside down in my vision. He bowed his head while putting a hand on his chest before speaking up.
"My master is requesting you presents, my lady," Frankenstein answers making me sigh and roll back the rest of way off the chair. I stood up while dusting off the pants that I had chosen to wear today. I turned to see Frankenstein's head still bowed toward me. I shook my head with a smile on my lips before walking towards him.
"I hate it when you bow to me and you know this, Frankenstein," I patted his shoulder before kissing his cheek. I continued on my way to my beloved's room where he most likely was.

I walked into a room of black, gold, and red with a king-sized bed where Raizel was seated, face turned toward the window. The black curtains pulled back revealing the forest be on. I sighed when he said nothing like most times. The door shut behind me as I walked farther into the room until I was standing right in front of him.
"I see someone is in a bad mood," I teased but all I got in response was silence. I huffed uncrossing my arms before stepping closer before I straddled his lap. I took his face in my hands and made him look at me in the eyes. "What is wrong, my love?"
"The Lord asked if I wanted to be his predecessor," he confessed taking my hands in his as he looked down. I sighed with a smile on my lips while looking to the side. "I refused."
I giggled making him wrap his arms around my waist, pressing his warms hands to my lower back where my shirt had risen. He put his face in my neck like he usually did when I embarrassed him. It took me a minute but I contained my giggles. I took a breath before looking at the top of his head with a smile.
"I'm sorry, Cadis," I kissed his head making him bury his face farther in my neck still embarrassed. I giggled at this supposedly emotionless male's actions before placing my hands back on his cheeks and lifting up his head to look at me again. His cheeks were a bit pink but not much to where if I wasn't so close I probably wouldn't have noticed. I shook my head before rubbing my nose lovingly against his making him relaxed from his stiff embarrassed posture. "But you refusing is just too much like you."
His eyes rolled lightly, showing emotion that only I got to see which gave me some pride. He sighed before leaning forward and connection our lips for a few short seconds before pulling back. "Did you really want me to except?
He had raised an eyebrow at me expecting an answer which made me chuckle and lean forward. I stopped when my lips barely touched his making him tighten his hold on my hips.
"Never," I leaned my forehead against his while he smirked at me slightly. "I love you just the way you are, Cadis," With my last confession I connected out lips in a passionate kiss making him smile into it. I felt him pick me up off his lap slightly before rolling over so I was under him while he kissed down my jaw making a path to place in the middle of my collarbone.
"As I do you, My lover," Raizel breath against my collarbone while his hands ran up and down my sides and my hands played with his hair.

I was sitting on one of the chandeliers in the hallway of the mansion that led to the front door. I had a rope in my hand that led to round three buckets of ice-cold water that were positioned right next to the chandelier. I was to let the water drop on my targets below me when they were under the buckets.
I heard the sound of three pairs of footsteps coming down the hall to the doorway making quiet giggles pass my lips. I calmed myself just in time for my three targets to stop right under the buckets to finish their conversation.
"It was nice seeing you two again," Muzaka grinned while patting Raizel's shoulder. Raizel nodded while keeping his emotionless face while Frankenstein smiled at the Werewolf. Frankenstein was about to say something when Muzaka noticed something. "Where's Jayden run off to?"
"My Lady is probably in the garden or her library," Frankenstein sighed while fixing his glasses. Muzaka mumbled something about me while Raizel looking like a thought struck him.
"Sorry dear Frankenstein, I'm up here," I grinned down at their startled forms before releasing the rope making the three buckets of freezing ice cold waterfall tip towards them. Frankenstein and Muzaka screamed in surprised while Raizel let the water soak his clothes and hair. I giggled at my lover shook his head to get some excess water out of it once all the water had stopped raining down on them.
"Very funny, Jade," Muzaka sarcastically commented as I laughed at the three soak males whose hair and clothes were all sticking to their bodies. I felt tears of laughter run down my face as Muzaka shook like a dog to dry off a little but got poor Frankenstein wetter in the process. If that was even possible.
"I think that was my best trick yet," I grinned before all the color drained from my face when Frankenstein's and Muzaka grin sinisterly at me. I even saw a mischievous glint flash in my lover's eyes. That's when I realized something. "Oh shit."
I took off running away from them but not out the door, instead, I turned another corner and raced down that hall with all three wet men chasing after me. I picked up my pace trying to get away from my payback...

I was in the kitchen chopping up vegetables, I had gotten from the garden outside, so Frankenstein could use them for dinner tonight. But the main reason, I was doing it was because it was the alternative to punching something. Raizel had been ignoring me for a whole week. It was the seventh day of this silence and him avoiding my presences and my sorrow had now turned into anger.
I was so focused on chopping the vegetables that I didn't realize someone had walked in until they were right next to me.
"You're turning the vegetables into pulp, My lady," Frankenstein said from next to me in a worried tone. I realized I pretty much was, making me sigh and put the knife down much to the males relief. I took in a large breath while turning around to lean against the counter. "Are you alright, My lady?"
I don't know why but as soon as Frankenstein asked me that I felt my abnormal tears roll down my face. They had a glowing orange hue to them and if you looked close enough at them you could see a small flame swirling inside them. I hid my face in my hands as slid down to the ground.
"I don't know," I choked out as I slightly trembled as I cried into my hands. I felt a hand gently rub my back was wept on the floor. I looked over at Frankenstein to see him looking at me with worry as he sat next to me. The longer I cried the more I shook making Frankenstein sigh. I placed my hands back on my face only for a moment before arms wrapped around me, to comfort me. I felt one of the blonde male's hands stroke my head while the other was in the middle of my back.
"I'm sorry, My lady," Frankenstein sighed while I cried into my chest. I didn't know what to do. Raizel had never been angry or even irritated with me but maybe it was my time to learn. I knew my lover could get furious with people who tried to harm the family leaders, the Lord, his friends, and Me, So I was scared of what he would do if he really was angry at me.
"F-Frankenstein," I finally managed to get out from my sore throat from crying. I didn't look up when he asked me to continue only kept my face in his chest. "Have I angered, Raizel? Did I do something wrong?"
I felt Frankenstein's hand strop stroking my hair and his arms tighten around me before a spoke his answer.
"I don't believe my master could ever get mad at you, My lady," Frankenstein responded with sincerity in his voice making me sigh. I felt him chuckle before speaking again. "And I think my master loves my distress from your tricks as much as you do, Jayden."
I smiled when he had confessed that along with using my real name, which he rarely to never did. I sighed again but I was still angry that he was ignoring me. For a week nonetheless.
"But why has the man been ignoring my very existence," I shudder at the thought of him not loving me anymore or wanting the thrill of sneaking around with another woman without me knowing, like all my past lovers. "I only see him at night. In our room. And even that is for a few minutes or an hour or two and with no words spoken from him," I sighed as I felt my anger take over my despair making my hair tips make a sizzling sound and turn a bit orange.
"I don't know," Frankenstein sighed while he rubbed my hair again, knowing I was mad from my hair tips. "I wish I-"
"What are you doing, Frankenstein?"
He was cut off by a slightly angered and un-amused voice from next to us. We both looked up to see Raziel looking down at us with his red eyes slightly glowing making Frankenstein stiffen and my anger come back with a vengeance. The inner portion of my green eyes turned orange while my hair sizzle more making my half of my hair orange and red.
"What do you mean 'What are you doing'," I seethed at him while shooting up to stand making the blonde almost fall back from my sudden movement. My top Canine teeth had turned pointed and had grown a bit longer, I could feel them with my tongue. "You haven't given a damn about what I've been doing and when Frankenstein hugs me, you go all Supreme Being on his ass," I growled at my lover while taking few steps closer to him. He looked at me with angered and slightly narrowed eyes that make his enemies shake and shiver. "That's not how a relationship works, Cadis Etrama Di Raizel."
He looked at my ferocious form for a moment longer before turning his eyes to his butler who had stood up during my angry rant. His eyes narrowed more before he spoke. "Be mindful, Frankenstein, not to touch certain things that are mine," His eyes flashed a bright red again making Frankenstein shiver again.
I balled my fists together before taking another step towards him my eyes also glowing. I bared my teeth slightly making his eyes snap to mine. His eyes lost a bit of their intense glow at my vengeful form but still remain angry and hard.
"I'm not your thing," I roared at him while bringing my hand up and slapping him across his face in one swift movement. A loud and painful sounding clap of skin came from the harsh contact of my hand across his face. At the sound, Frankenstein's breath hitch and his blood run cold. I had never been violent with Raziel unless he was helping me control the new powers I would receive, but even then it was controlled.
His head had snapped to the side and his eyes lost all of their glow and hardness. They turned surprised and regretful for what he had caused at the moment. I panted out hot air like a raging bull and if it was even possible, they would have come out as steam.
"I'm leaving, Cadis," I seethed at him, fist still clenched and jaw locked. "You have already forgotten me, so I will just relieve the burden of having to see me," I snapped that final sentence before swiftly walking past him and out of the kitchen before he could do anything.

I sat on the Balcony railing that was connected to Raizel's room while tears ran down my face. My hands gripped the railing beside my legs while trembling as I wheezed out shallow breath from beneath my tears.
I couldn't believe what I had just told Raizel. It as the equivalent to saying I don't love him anymore or even worse... I hate him. I shook harder at the thought of him thinking that I felt that way about him.
I was about let another weep out another crying when familiar arms wrapped around my torso from behind and trapped my arms to their sides as they pulled me off the balcony. I struggle to get out of their hold, so I didn't have to face the expression that would be placed on the males face from my words.
"Let me go, Cadis," I cried as my feet were placed in the ground. I sobbed harder as my back was forced into his chest while my own heaved up and down from the orangeish tear streaming from my eyes. "Let....Me...Go."
"I'm sorry I have not paid attention to you, my Jaybird," He whispered in my ear making my sobs become silent pants of air but tears still dripping down my face. "I was doing something." I let out a strangled laugh at him excuse while stopping my struggle.
"Nice excuse Raizel," I mocked with spiteful sarcasm lacing every one of my vengeful words. "I hope whatever you were doing was worth it."
"I hope," He mumbled while retracting his arms from me. I growled at his response before wiping around to chew him out but what I saw instead made my breath hitch. Raizel was on one knee in front of me while hopeful red eyes while a back small velvet box was in the palm of his eyes. "I was preparing a dinner for you at one of your family's old cabins but it seems I messed up along the way," He confessed with a regretful sound making me look at him with my own regret.
I was about to say something until he opened the box up revealing a unique looking silver banded engagement with Red bright ruby's encrusting it. The ruby's matched the color of his eyes making me smile like an idiot when he took my hand.
"Will you, Jayden Katleen Victoria Nightingale, Do me, Cadis Etrama Di Raizel, the honor of being my wife," He looked up at me with gleaming red eyes that reflected the stars behind me, in the sky. I shook my head with a grin on my face making Raizel slightly smile. He slipped the ring on my left ring finger while standing up. A tear escaped one of my eyes before I grabbed the collar of his noble uniform and smashing my lips into his.
I felt his arms wrapped themselves tightly around my waist in response to the kiss. He forced his wet muscle into my mouth to explore its already claimed territory. I hummed when his hands traveled to my thighs making him lean down into me before gripping the flesh at the top back of my legs. In one swift movement, he hoisted me up in the air and made my legs wrap around his waist. I locked my feet together right after my heels fell off from being quickly picked up.
"I love you, My fiance," Raizel mumbled against my lips while he tilted his head to deepen the kiss as he walked into the bedroom. The windows and curtains shut on their own, letting the darkness devour us.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I shot up from bed with a cold sweat and heavy breathing but I didn't feel tired.
