Chapter Nine
I sighed as I sat down on the white sofa in Frankensteins office. My unique tears started running down my face as I buried my head in both of my hands. I hated killing my own kind. I hated being a Council member...nonetheless the Snake.
Snakes were the most fear of my kind ever since the last feared faction disappeared. Snakes were known to be cunning and blood lustful. They lived on 'kill first, ask questions later.' I grew up executing people. Always having to put my gut feelings and emotions aside to get brutal job's done.
I sighed and whipped my tears away while taking a breath to calm my breathing. I had finally calmed down and looked presentable when Frankenstein's office door burst open. I jumped a little bit at the sudden action making me blush a bit.
"Ah, I thought you would be here," Frankenstein grinned while his head tilted a little to the left. I nodded while looking away while the others enter behind him. They all looked surprised to see me here which made me snigger under my breath. I lost that mischief when Rai stepped inside.
For some reason every time I was near him, my body went completely relaxed and I felt like I was numb to everything else besides his presents which makes me blush more than usual. From the day I met this man he would always smirk at my flustered state or when I told someone off with a mischievous look in my eyes. It was like he expected it to happen and it satisfied him to see me like that.
I was broken out of my maddening thoughts when 4 cups of tea were set down. Regis and Seira had sat down on the couch in front of the one I sat on while Rai sat next to me. A little closer then a normal person would but for some odd reason, it didn't bother me. It only pleased my body to the point where the side of my body he was closest to was set aflame.
"Who are you," I jumped at Regis' sudden question before settling my startled state. Regis finished his drink of tea before his eyes locked with mine. "That man kept saying that his race exceeded mine."
I sighed at the naive male in front of me. I smiled slightly at the thought of him knowing who I was as I picked up my cup of tea my pinky leaned against the bottom rim. I felt everyone's eyes on me but I still chuckled at the question I was asked.
"I suppose if I am to befriend you then I must tell," I smirked lightly as I took a sip of the hot tea. I let the warm liquid slide down my throat before speaking once more. "My name, full and true name is," I leaned forward and placed my cup back on its saucer before leaning back into the couch. I crossed my legs while putting my forearm on the back of said couch back.
"Jayden Katleen Victoria Elizabeth Nightingale."
I kind of smile at the modified humans and nobles confused reactions. But what intrigued me more was that Rai and Frankenstein looked pleased my full name like it was a lullaby to them.
"I am the leader of the Peacekeepers, for I am the one they call The Snake of Force," I spoke my title with a pleased tone as all of their eyebrows shot up in surprise. I chuckled at their shocked faces before continuing. "I am on a council that has four other leaders; The Wolf of Conscience, The Tiger of Passion, The Deer of Chivalry, and the Owl of Intelligence."
With each title, I hold up one of my slim fingers lifted to count out four. I grinned at them before looking to Tao who spoke up with a question.
"I heard the male say that he was a knight of the owl," He has while he cupped his chin with his pointer and thumb to think. I nodded my head before picking up my tea again. My expression fell as I answered the males question with a forced voice.
"Gaven Michaelis Bartholomew comes from a long line of Knights," I started as I raised the cup to my red lips. "That arrogant man," I took a short sip of the hot flavored water before finishing. "Was commanded by the owl of intelligence who is known to be the cockiest and know it all female of our race," I scoffed before taking another drink of my tea before looking down at the yellow-orange liquid.
"You sound like you two don't get along," Takeo comment while shoving his hands into his pockets. I scowled at my cup at the thought of getting along with that Arrogant woman before a sly smirk slid onto my face.
"You could say that again," I sarcastically commented before drinking the rest of my tea and setting it down on the saucer for the last time. "None of the Council members see me very much since I refuse to live in Arcadia. Home of the Dynasties."
"Dynasties," M-21 asked with scrunched eyebrows making me raise one of my own. I chuckled at his confused expression and was about to respond when someone cut me off...
Frankenstein

"The name of the descendants of mythical beings of unlimited immense power," I answered as a mischievous glint flashed through my eyes at my lady, Jayden's expression went from amused to surprised at my sudden answer. I saw her nod to me to confirm my answer before speaking up.
"Correct," She smirked flashing some of her white teeth before looked me in the eyes. Her eyes were filled with pure mischief-making me smirk to myself, missing that look from my Masters Lover. She leaned forward a bit as she continued. "But how did you learn that? Only a few chosen outsiders know of the Dynasties and I don't remember the name 'Frankenstein' being on that list."
I chuckled while entwining my fingers as I propped my elbows on my desk in front of me. "I just had a wonderful teacher," I smirked remembering the memory of my lady teaching me and Master of her homeland after we both had asked countless times about it.
~~~Flashback~~~
"You know that my head could get cut off from teaching you guys about my kind," Jayden mused while grabbing a few books from her personal library we were standing in. I and master both nodded making her sigh before jumping down from the latter with a few books in hand. She playfully glared at us while she fixed her grip on the books. "Wow, thanks, guys."
And with that, she spun on her heel and walked off to a table nearby. She pulled out a chair before placing the books in front of her while sitting down. Master sat down next to My lady while I stood behind him making Jayden sigh.
"Dearest Frankenstein, please sit down," Jayden rubbed her temples while I slowly walked out from behind my master and sat down on her other side. She sighed again in victory before speaking up again. "So you both want to know about my country?"
We both nodded silently.
"And the 5 living Dynasties?"
Another nod
"Along with the forgotten 6th one?"
We nodded again making the brunette nod in confirmation before grabbing a book and opening the cover that said 'Dynasties of The Titans.' She flipped through the pages till she came to a chapter called 'Arcadia: Home of the Myths.'
"I'm so dead," My lady playfully groaned before she started to lesson both my master and myself had been wanting to learn about for some time.
~~~End Of Flashback~~~
I had to force down a grin at the memory. She went against the scarred rules of her kind even being with my master and me but she still taught us about her and her race's secrets. We both had spent hours just being taught by the brunette to the point even I got tired of the endless knowledge My Lady held. I guess that's why my master fell in love with her.

"Hey, where did you guys go at lunch," Shinwoo whined as the usual group walked to Frankenstein's after school once again. I shrugged before yawning for the hundredth time since my fight. I was drained from using my power due to my not using it in the last 800 years or so.
"You okay Jayden," Yuma asked putting a hand on my shoulder as I yawned again. I nodded my head wearily before stretching my arms above my head to wake myself up. I shook my head to stop my brain from fogging up with sleep.
"I'm fine," I answered while a small yawed followed after making Shinwoo and Ikhan yawn as well. I rolled my eyes before continuing. "I just didn't get a lot of sleep last night."
"Are you sure you just don't want to go home and rest," Ikhan asked bending forward to look at me around Shinwoo. I shook my head while waving him off with a smile on my face.
"So that you can go doing something fun without me," I teased making him roll his eyes. I grinned back at him with closed eyes as we continued to want to Frankensteins. I was walking between Shinwoo and Yuna with Ikhan beside the redhead. Seira and Regis were in the very back with Rael and Raizel in between are two lines.
I felt his eyes on my back making me oddly relaxed instead of being tense. My mind flashed to the night I passed out. Ever since that first dream, every night after that dream has been replaying in my head or once there was a new one.
~~~Dream~~~
I was riding my black horse through the forest near the mansion. I usually rode when I was living in Arcadia but ever since I started staying with Raizel and Frankenstein on Lukedonia. Raizel never went outside of the manor except when the lord requested him or when I was endangered because I pissed off the Central Knights by tricking them.
I was galloping through the forest on my way back to the stables when I spotted grey haired male standing next to said stables. I grinned as I made my horse speed through the forest to get to the male.
"Muzaka," I squealed before vaulting sideways off my creature companion before crushing the other creature in a huge. I heard him chuckle before wrapping his arms around me in an almost bone-crushing hug.
"Nice to see ya, Jade," the werewolf lord grinned as he let me go. I chuckled at him before punching him in the shoulder playfully.
"I could say the same to you," I teased from not seeing him in a while. I ran a hand through my tousled hair that was filled with some leaves and twigs from riding. "So how's Ashleen doing?"
He laughed before putting his arm around my shoulders. "She misses you," He shook his head before throwing me over his shoulder. "And she can't wait to see you again," He started making his way toward the manor while I giggle from being over his shoulder.
"Well, I can't either," I laughed as I swayed from his steps. We walked through the manor for a few moments before passing Frankenstein, who almost fell over from the sight of me other Muzaka's shoulder.
"Heya Frankenstein," I grinned while waving at him as we passed. He looked at me with surprise before awkwardly waving back. I giggle mischievously before we walked into the room Raizel was in.
"I caught your Jaybird," Muzaka teased Raizel while setting me down on the bare desk in a random office Raizel occupying. He was in his usual place; sitting in a chair looking out a window. Raizel turned his head with an amused glint in his eyes at the situation I was just in.
"Oh yes and I think we gave Frankenstein a heart attack," I chuckled while Muzaka roared while laughed and Raizel sighed with a little chuckle. I smile at the expression of utter shock that the poor blonde man had when Muzaka walked by with me on his shoulder.
I squeaked when I was suddenly standing on the ground with my back in a chest. I looked up to see Raziel behind me leaning against the desk with his arms around me. My ears turned bright red as he buried his face in my hair which was really out of character for him but he has been really clingy since we fought about him ignoring me.
"Well that's interesting," Muzaka commenting with a smirk while crossing his arms. I huffed when he tightened his arms around my waist in a possessive manner.
"You have no idea," I sighed leaning my head back in his chest making his nuzzle his nose into my neck and hair. I huffed out of frustration of his needy and touch attitude lately.
"How long has he been like this," Muzaka asked holding back a laugh at my situation my lover was putting me in. I narrowed my eyes at the werewolf before speaking.
"Almost 2 weeks now," I answered in a monotone voice making the grey-haired male chuckle deeply while his friend clung to my waist. I squeaked before growly lowly when Raizel lightly started nibbling on my shoulder.
"And why is my friend treating you like his favorite thing in the world," Muzaka asked with raised eyebrows as I just stood there letting Raizel be clingy.
"This," I raised my left hand to show off my silver engagement ring with red and black ruby's. Muzaka whistled before going to say something...
~~~End of dream~~~
And that's when I would wake up in a cold sweat with a heartbeat in my ears and tingles going through my body. I didn't know what to make of the dreams. They seemed to real to be dreams...To emotional.
